Marriott - Sheraton Edison Hotel

Heather was great to work with. However, that was the only good thing about the Sheraton. The rate they gave our guests turned out to be higher than the regular rate! So people were booking outside our block (which Heather helped us figure out who booked). When I discussed with Heather I was upset, she was nice enough to give our guests who booked outside the block a breakfast voucher. The reason we picked the hotel (besides it was recommended to us) was the free shuttle. I guess you get what you pay for -- the first shuttle was not there for my guests. They said something to the front desk and some random person drove the shuttle! Then that person got lost and therefore made the next shuttle subsequently get lost. Despite making the shuttles ridiculously early before the wedding (because I was nervous -- I booked the "late" shuttle with an extra 30 minute cushion) my guests were LATE to my ceremony. I had no idea so we started without them (as no one from Sheraton called us). I was told the bar would be open the day of my wedding but it closed early due to personal issues with the bartender which I get, but felt like an idiot I told all my guests to meet me at the bar (when there was no bar). Finally, our room was beautiful - they gave us a suite with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. But they accidentally charged us! I spoke with Heather after the wedding and she refunded us thankfully and I told her about all of our issues but didn't get anything besides an apology from her. The hotel was the cause of a major stress from my wedding and it shouldn't have been.

The hotel itself is very nice, all the amentities needed for our guests (starbucks, bar...) the actual people working there...not so much. While the price is great, would still recommend using the hilton or holiday inn located just down the street instead.
