Maksym took our engagement photos and they turned out so good! Better than I expected. He was so good at finding the right lighting and backgrounds. He was so easy to work with. If you want timeliness photos and an easygoing photographer, he is your guy! Would absolutely work with again!

Choosing Maksym Prokopiv as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. From the very beginning, Maksym felt more like a friend than a vendor. He truly listened to what we wanted and made the whole process feel effortless and fun. Our journey started with an engagement photo session, and Maksym made it such a special experience. Neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but Maksym’s warm personality and creative guidance put us completely at ease. The photos from that day were stunning, capturing not just how we looked but how we felt—happy, excited, and so in love. On the wedding day itself, Maksym went above and beyond in every way. Not only was he flexible and accommodating, but he also adjusted to the flow of the day seamlessly. When we found ourselves with some extra time in the schedule, Maksym didn’t hesitate to take full advantage, suggesting additional creative shots that turned out to be some of our favorite photos. He captured every single moment—big and small—with a keen eye for detail and an endless stream of great ideas. Looking at our wedding photos now, we are completely blown away. Maksym was the photographer for my wedding this past June, he also shot our engagement photos last year. His attention to detail amazed me and his editing style was the perfect match for what my husband and I wanted. Maksym helped us get comfortable with the camera and always instructed us on how to pose to capture the best photos. He was also great at capturing candids and worked really well with our videographer. We received many requests from our wedding guests for his contact information, some of our friends ended up booking him for their weddings as well.

Hiring Maksym to be our photographer was such a solid decision! He is truly AMAZING! We only hired one photographer (him) for our day, and I was a little nervous since I know I was asking for a lot. He has such a can-do attitude, great work ethic, punctual, detailed oriented, and so professional—and he delivered day-of. And may I add for a fraction of the price of some photographers out there!! He was one guy, but he managed to take photos of the most important moments. He was everywhere and was running around (literally) to get the best shot. He doesn’t have different prices for hours of coverage- pretty much he’s yours for the whole day. Before the wedding, he is always available and actually meets with you to discuss your day and the photos you want. He sent us our flash drive and it was just the cutest thing ever. The flash drive was in a little book with our photo on it and even the flash drive itself is so detailed- glass with his logo….WOW!

We hired Maksym for our proposal, engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and finally our wedding day. As soon as we met Maksym, we instantly fell in love with him. He is so relatable, easy to talk to, and really knows how to make every shot and angle come out perfect. When needed, he takes control of the room and directs everyone to create the perfect shot. My wife and I have been apart of numerous weddings in the past few years and Maksym is BY FAR the best. PLEASE PLEASE stop looking elsewhere and book with Maksym, you will not regret it!!

You could not ask for a better photographer to capture your special day. Maksym brings such a calm and welcoming presence to his work and makes everyone feel so at ease. Not to mention - he's an absolute artist behind the camera! He goes above and beyond to capture the best shots in an efficient and timely matter to keep the day moving. I would recommend Maksym and his team to everyone I know, for any occasion! My husband and I are so lucky to have the wedding album of our dreams, thanks to Maksym. Don't think twice, book him!!

Maksym was awesome to work with for our wedding! We had a really great photoshoot with him for our wedding invitations, and then we had an equally perfect experience with him on our wedding day. Maksym is always quick to respond. He talked through everything with us, made suggestions on locations for the invitation photoshoot, helped us pose correctly, captured some special candid moments, and was super helpful in encouraging all of our guests to take photos throughout the night. I love how he got pictures of all the couples, different families, and tables. We also greatly appreciated that he helped us move quickly to get a photo with every table. He brought a second photographer and worked with the video crew to make sure everything was beautiful. We've known Maksym from other events, and we recommend him to everyone and anyone looking for a professional photographer. He isn't pushy like other photographers we've experienced, but he isn't shy either. He was super considerate of what we wanted, whether that was more photos at a certain location or a break from being on our feet. He takes LOTS of photos, which we appreciate, and then he picks the best of the bunch and edits them beautifully. The photobook we received after the wedding is super high quality, and we feel like it's something that will last for generations. Everyone was raving about him after the wedding, and they loved the pictures we sent them. We look forward to working with Maksym in the future - and we love running into him at other events!

Maksym is a true artist! From our engagement photos to our wedding photos we couldn’t be happier. They turned out absolutely beautiful. Maksym does such a wonderful job helping us pose for photos but also taking amazing candid photos. These will be memories we can look back at for a lifetime. Maks was phenomenal and we cannot recommend him enough! The photographer is the one vendor/person that is with you and your fiancé the entire wedding day. Maks was amazing and I cannot imagine how our day would have gone without him. The weather took an unexpected turn (freezing cold). We had initially planned to have all photos taken outside. Maks was flexible and great, not only getting the outdoor location shots we wanted, but also suggesting amazing indoor photo locations too (which we implemented and gave us a break from the cold). His passion and excitement for capturing great moments through photography is contagious. And he worked his tail off…. arriving at the hotel before 10:30AM to start getting ready pics and not ending until the reception was winding down near 11PM. Our guests also really appreciated him… Maks would see guests taking pictures of one another and run up to make small suggestions and then take the photos himself using his camera (and the guest’s phone for them to have a copy too). We cannot recommend him enough!

We absolutely loved working with Maksym on our wedding day! He is beyond talented, incredibly flexible, and easy to work with! The whole process was effortless and he made things stress free! He was able to capture all of the group and posed photos we wanted in a very timely manner and was so great to work with from start to finish. Most importantly, the final product is OUTSTANDING! Our pictures are absolutely breathtaking and he truly captured every beautiful moment that day. Also, the turn-around time for our photos and wedding album was so quick! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Booking Maksym was the best decision! As soon as we got engaged, I had one condition for a wedding date - MAKSYM HAS TO BE AVAILABLE. Maksym is a pleasure to work with. He is very professional, punctual, kind, polite, very patient (with a picky bride), and has talent that is hard to find. Maksym took the time to listen to what I wanted and provided nothing short of amazing. He captured both our engagement pictures and wedding day- both were beyond beautiful. If I could give 10 stars I would! Maks is a phenomenal artist who did an amazing job capturing our day. I found him on Instagram through a friend who used him for her own wedding and family photoshoots - if she has used him that many times he must be good... and YES HE IS. Choosing a photographer who's artistic style aligns with the vibe you want for your photos is very important. The angles, colors, lighting, poses that Maks uses were the perfect fit and were exactly what we were looking for. From the first phone call, to our engagement shoot, to wedding day, Maks was in constant communication with us and was always available to chat if I had any questions or wanted to go over something one more time. He was on time, professional, and extremely friendly, everyone enjoyed working with him. We booked the 2 photographer package for our wedding day which was the best decision ever because now we have a ton of photos of both of us getting ready with our bridal party and families and didn't have to lose any time waiting on one another. Maks and his photo partner really made our wedding day special and we could not have asked for anything more! We are SO happy with all of our photos (which he got back to us SUPER quickly) and have already received so many compliments. If you have the chance to book Maks, take it!!!

Maksym was an AMAZING photographer for our Tulum destination wedding. He went above and beyond during the wedding day. His style and attention to details is absolutely THE BEST! We knew that it’s very important to have beautiful photos for future memories and we are so happy we decided to have Maksym capture our wedding as the photos turned out amazing! A lot of friends told us from their experience that Maksym is a great wedding photographer. When it was time to pick a date for our micro wedding we decided that the first thing that we need to do is to check if Maksym is available on that day (yes, basically it was how we picked our wedding date!) :) Before the wedding, Maksym made sure to ask the right questions about what exact photos we wanted to get taken and timelines (which he helped us to construct together with our videographers). He went beyond and above! He is very energetic, kind, easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Maksym was an amazing photographer for our wedding day! his packages are comprehensive, straight forward and reasonably priced. He was very professional all throughout the planning process and he helped us pick really good spots downtown for our first photos together. Also, he was very understanding and supportive of our decision to postpone the wedding for a full year because of COVID. On the day of, Maksym was with us the entire day! He arrived hours before we thought he would to get some great shots of the groom getting ready at home and then even brought the veil to the bride because she had forgotten. His attitude the entire day made everyone happy and smiling, you can tell he loves what he does. Everyone on the wedding party and a lot of our guests mentioned how good of a photographer we had pick. He also listened to us and made sure to check all our requests from the planning stages. All this and on top he has a great talent! we have so many beautiful shots it’s hard to pick. His style was what we were looking for, very candid pictures full of light. He also has very creative ideas for photos, and really captures all the details. Honestly I can’t recommend you enough to pick Maksym for your wedding day.

Maksym Prokopiv is nothing short of amazing talent. I want to thank him for all of his efforts and support the day of my wedding. My husband and I felt so comfortable working with him and traveling around the city for shots. I began losing hope in finding a legitimate photographer for my wedding. I met with multiple vendors that made me feel like getting married was solely a business transaction. Luckily, I finally stumbled on Prokopiv Photography and I felt and immediate sense of comfort speaking to Maksym. He is very clear, honest, and talented in his practice. There were no hidden “extras” in our overall cost. My fiancé and I are generally private and requested that our photos not be shared on social media. He is one of the ONLY vendors that agreed without any hesitation. The fact that he was so easy going about this, made us want to share our pictures with him and his clients!!! Maks is unbelievably talented! Our photos came out even more beautiful than expected. He has an amazing talent for catching those special moments. Working with Maksym was absolute pleasure. Maksym was truly amazing to work with! He took the lead on everything and made it incredibly easy and so fun! Our bridal party absolutely loved his positive, enthusiastic personality and even guests at the wedding were commenting on how amazing he was, going above and beyond to get the perfect shot. He kept us on schedule the entire day, found the perfect photo spots and even asked us at the end of the night if there was anything else we wanted captured before he left. It was apparent Maksym loves what he does and I wasn't the least bit surprised to see his talent shine through his work when we received our sneak peek! He truly made our vision come to life. Maksym is an amazing photographer! I never knew my own pictures could look as amazing as they do. His photos look like they are from a magazine. They are so beautiful and breathtaking. Additionally, Maksym is so fun to work with. He is so passionate about his photos and loves his job. I am not someone who likes to take photos, but he made it so much fun! He is super enthusiastic about his photos and about the wedding day. He also is very good at organizing and keeping your day on track. You will not be disappointed with Maksym. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Maksym was a pleasure to work with, and is an extremely talented artist. My wedding was running on a tight schedule and he was punctual, quick working, and creative in his photography! I could rely on him to execute the shots I wanted and also help with posing. Most of my guests and family were Russian speaking and he was able to speak with them in their language which was very helpful in coordinating family shots.

Not only is Maksym an amazing photographer, hes one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The photos that he took on our wedding day were beautiful and breathtaking. Hes very professoanal and fun to work with, and having him at our wedding was a blast! Working with Maksym was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From the very first meeting with him in his office, to scheduling our engagement photoshoot, to our wedding day, to receiving our photos and our albums weeks later, communication was seamless and he made the whole process seem effortless. As a bride, I truly appreciated how easy going he was and could see the passion he has for his work. He is truly an artist who captures moments that I could not believe could be converted into a photograph. Maksym was punctual, trustworthy, responsive, and delivered the highest quality professionalism. He greeted us with a huge smile first thing in the morning on our wedding day that continued through the middle of the night. Maksym is truly a master of his craft. We hired him as our photographer for our wedding on 5/11/19 and we could not be happier with our photos. I found Maksym’s work online/ Facebook and was immediately impressed. My husband and I met with him and he was straight forward, easy to chat with, and fun. He also has extremely reasonable pricing for the amazing quality of work he delivers. We decided to book him and are so happy we did! During the months leading up to the wedding he was always available and happy to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions. On the day of the wedding, he came with an assistant and they got right to work. It was so nice to work with someone who knows exactly what he is doing and can command a room and help the day to run smoothly. You can tell Maksym loves what he does because he goes above and beyond (squatting, climbing, etc..) to get the perfect shot. It rained on our wedding day but Maksym made the best of it and we ended up with beautiful photos. He was able to capture our vision perfectly and photographed everything we asked for and more. It is so fun to look back and see how much love and happiness he was able to capture in his photos. Before leaving for the night, Maksym came up to my husband and me to ask if we wanted to take any quick photos or anything else we wanted captured. I thought this was such a nice gesture and really speaks to how professional and great he was to work with. We could not be happier with our photos and feel so grateful that we have such awesome memories to remember our day by. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, we cannot recommend hiring Maksym enough, you will not be disappointed.

Maksym is one of the best photographers in all of Chicago. He produces beautiful, natural photographs that bring out the joy and love of the day. He has an eye that not many others have. He was the first vendor we booked when we got married. He is highly sought after in the Ukrainian community in Chicago and is almost booked every weekend, but if you're lucky enough to book him it will be the best decision you make for your wedding.
