Heli might be the most organized gal I've ever met. She was so quick to respond to emails, had answers to all of my small detail questions, and was always on time and prepared for every meeting. She was such a joy to work with. I really feel like she went above and beyond for our day and made it feel really special even with how simple we wanted our wedding to be. All of our family, friends, and my husband were SO impressed with her and could tell the effort she put into our wedding. This wasn't a vendor we had originally planned on having, but booked because it was required by our venue, and I'm so thankful we did, because I couldn't have crossed the finish line without Zoe! Another plus was that they do offer some rentals, and Zoe was able to gather decor at our rehearsal to bring to the venue. All things considered, McArthur Weddings and Events is an affordable option for day of coordination and definitely worth budgeting for. 10/10 recommend!

Our beautiful venue Juniper Mountain House is an incredibly unique location, and because of that they smartly partner with McArthur Weddings and Events to be part of their venue fee, getting planner services 60 days out from the wedding. That arrangement was perfect for me since I wanted to plan most of my wedding myself and then be able to pass it off to someone I could trust to execute my vision. When we first met with Laura and Zoe from McArthur, I could tell we were in the best of hands. The documentation alone (including a color coded checklist timeline to keep me on schedule for the planning I did myself) was a work of beauty, and both Laura and Zoe were so easy to work with, offered advice and suggestions about how to best achieve what we were going for, and were absolutely rockstars on the day of. We had a bunch of variables - my 100 lbs sweet but powerful pup was in our ceremony and signing our marriage license, we decided to shuttle all of our guests to Evergreen from Boulder about 45 min away using both party buses and car services at a variety of departure/arrival times, my husband and I wanted to not see each other until I walked down the aisle - which in a small outdoor venue can definitely be a challenge, and in classic Colorado summer fashion we got a big rainstorm mid-ceremony. But absolutely everything went perfectly! When it started raining, Laura and Zoe moved our lounge furniture to be spread out under the various covered spaces and were on hand with clear umbrellas (one of my favorite photos is of us in the woods right after the ceremony having a moment under the umbrella in the rain). They coordinated with my dog sitter in picking up my beast of a pup and getting him and all of his things home safely so I could be worry free. My crazy transportation plan all happened and I heard nothing about it, which is the ideal. I truly can’t thing of one thing I would go back and change, and that was in huge part to the McArthur - including their day of champ assistant Molly! We’ll be forever grateful that the McArthur team gave us our dream day!

She helped bring together our abstract ideas and put all of the pieces together beautifully. Our guests raved about how beautifully things came together and how much fun they had. nally met with Laura, who gave us access to an incredible shared Google drive for our wedding so we could start planning, see wedding advice, get recommendations for vendors, and have everything organized in one place (I am obsessed with organizational tools, so this was amazing for me). This summer, we started working with Zoe as our lead planner. I cannot say enough great things about Zoe (and I also want to be friends with her). Zoe is extremely organized, professional, and honestly just fun to be around. She made the two months leading up to our wedding actually enjoyable as she took over all of our contracts and coordinated with our vendors to ensure our day would go smoothly, which it did. Every meeting with Zoe was productive, and I felt like she really heard us and took the vision we had for our wedding to heart. I cannot express what a relief it was to show up at our venue and to see almost the entire reception area ready to go - I saw Zoe and her assistant Mollie folding napkins, setting up tables, moving flowers, herding our people, and in general just doing everything that needed to be done to make sure everything was perfect. Honestly, I'm sure I don't even know everything they did because they made it happen so surreptitiously. I was able to fully detach from planning mode and really be present for our wedding, and that's all thanks to Zoe and the team at McArthur. We are so appreciative of everyone at this company, especially Zoe & Mollie, for all of their hard work. You all are truly amazing at what you do!

We hired Laura for day of services, but she goes above and beyond and takes over communication with our vendors a month before the wedding. This is something I didn’t know I needed, but I’m so glad that was part of the package. She helped us create a seamless schedule of events for the day of the wedding and made sure all vendors knew where and when they needed to be which helped everything run so smoothly. Laura is very organized and has an eye for design and I had complete trust in her when I handed over decorations that she saw my vision and was going to make the reception space look beautiful—and that she did! My husbands mom lost the back of her earing before being introduced and Laura took off the back of her earing and gave it to my mother-in-law…seems like such a small thing, but it was such a kind gesture and adds to the many reasons why Laura and her team are amazing!
