Mckenna's Flower Shop

I adored this flower shop. They saw my vision and made it all a reality. I swear, I showed them some pinterest photos and the work they did was ON POINT. They made my dream aesthetic a reality and the price was so manageable!

We used Mckenna’s for our wedding flowers. Taylor was wonderful to work with, she understood exactly what I wanted and was flexible with any changes we needed to make. They were at the venue early enough to make sure we got the bouquet’s and boutonnieres in time for pictures and they did a wonderful job setting up our table and arch displays. I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with to make our wedding wonderful.

Taylor quickly figured out exactly what we were looking for in our wedding flowers. The bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful- better than we ever could have imagined.

Michelle at McKenna's Flower Shop was extremely friendly and easy to work with! I have bad allergies and knew I needed to have silk flowers for my wedding day. I showed her some examples of what I liked and she far exceeded my expectations! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and looked so real!!! The best part is that we get to keep the flowers as decorations for many years to come. It was also helpful that they rented many of their decorations to us. We rented wood slices for the table centerpieces and windows to make a seating chart! Couldn't be happier with how it all looked!!!

We cannot say enough fabulous things about this shop. For all the staff and Michelle especially with all your creativeness has really made our vision come to life. Almost bringing me to tears, seriously! Highly recommend using Mckenna’s, hands down!!

I was completely floored by McKenna's Flower Shop and Michelle was amazing to work with. She sat down with us to go over our vision; gave us guidance when we needed it and delivered on our vision with flowers and design even better than I imagined. I wanted very specific flowers in my bouquet, and she got them for me! The arch they decorated was absolutely beautiful. My centerpieces were different than your average, and she created what I had in my head but better. She wrote up a detailed quote that was within our budget and we got more than we thought we would for our $. They truly are a great business and a pleasure to work with!

I really can't say enough good things about Michelle and Michael at McKenna's Flower Shop in Norwich, CT. Michelle immediately understood our visions for the bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and ceremony flowers. She was always very prompt to responding to email inquiries and very flexible with changing designs to fit within our budget. They did a spectacular job with the floral arrangements and even went out of their way to lend us their floral arch when the one we bought ended up being too flimsy. We give our highest recommendation to work with them for a wedding or any special event!

We loved working with McKenna’s! Michael and Michelle were absolutely amazing from beginning to end! We contacted McKenna’s and Michelle was great over the phone and email as we were planning a CT wedding from NH. We sent her pictures and examples and Michael and Michelle created exactly what we were looking for AND within our budget. Our guests raved about the centerpieces and we loved our bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages! They did such an amazing job setting up the tables at our wedding venue, and really made everything come together perfectly! Their flowers were beautiful, the centerpieces looked fresh and perfectly done, and everything arrived organized and on time. I would recommend McKenna’s to anyone and everyone, their value and work is wonderful - and our favorite part was Michelle and Michael, they were just so easy to work with, and genuinely seemed excited to be a part of our wedding!

I had amazing luck with vendors for my wedding, but the thing I was most blown away by were my flowers. I had been through the bridal shows a few times and no one really blew me away, until I casually struck up a conversation with Michelle at the booth for McKenna’s. She introduced me to Michael and I began describing what my vision was. I feel like they both just clicked with me pretty instantaneously from our first meeting and I was certain that I wanted to work with them. They just got it, and they got me, and I certainly didn’t feel that connection with any other florists I spoke with. Plus, I loved how enthusiastic they were about their jobs, and their desire to do something really fun and creative. I felt that I could really trust them, and I was right!!! I am not a flower type of girl- I don’t have favorite flowers and I don’t know the names of different blooms. I did, however, have a very specific color palette in mind- all cool ‘peacock’ colors, shades of blues, greens and purples. I told Michelle and Michael that my main interests were color and texture, and gave them creative freedom beyond that for my bouquets, and boy am I glad I did. They were absolutely stunning and exactly what I wanted but couldn’t quite articulate. And then there were my centerpieces, just breathtaking. After learning about my artistic background, Michael and Michelle wanted to do something a little more interesting and created two versions for me that we alternated between tables, one very structured and one sort of crazy spray of orchids, both with white peacocks perched amongst the colorful blooms. It was that one extra step that made things just perfectly suited for us. People couldn’t stop talking about the flowers- they all thought they were fake because they looked too perfect! It also must be mentioned that their team did an amazing job setting up. They were a well-oiled machine- on time and quick, but still precise and detail-oriented. They kept everything running smoothly! Needless to say, I was extraordinarily pleased with McKenna’s. I always felt as if they truly heard and understood me, and their creativity was just so inspiring. I instantly felt like I could trust them and they always communicated quickly and efficiently with me. I am actually pretty sad that I won’t get to work with them again! Michael and Michelle are complete masters of their trade, and just delightful to work with as well!

We didnt do the whole crazy amount of flowers, but for what we got the price seemed reasonable. I got 4 beautiful bridesmaids bouquets, my bouquet, a basket with flowers(not petals) for my flower girl and 2 boutonnieres. Everything was beautifuland smelled fantastic. My bouquet dried out easily after 5 more days of bright color and unwilting flowers at my house in a vase with water. I recommend this wonderful group of florists for anything!

I have to admit, flowers were not at the top of my priority list when I started to plan my wedding but I knew I loved tiger lillies and that I wanted apples in my centerpieces since I was having a fall wedding and my husband and I loved apple picking. Michael took my thoughts and expanded upon them using his creative mind to come up with the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. He decorated the pews at our church with pew bows and we had beautiful arrangements in the front of the church. They delivered the flowers to all locations in a timely fashion and were extremely organized. I was so happy with their service! I highly recommend them to anyone!

McKenna’s has been our families’ florist for 30 years and they recently did the centerpieces for my wedding. With short notice, a budget and the vision Michael put together the talk of the wedding. They were vibrant, beautiful and captured the look perfectly.

We got our boutonnieres, corsages, and my throw bouquet from McKenna's. I didn't want flowers for my centerpieces or for decor at the ceremony. I had fake flowers for my actual bouquet and for my bridesmaids to try to keep costs low. We did want real flowers for the other things, though, because my husband loves the smell of flowers. The people at McKenna's were friendly and so easy to work with. They had everything ready by the time they told us they would. The finished products looked amazing. They were great to work with.

McKenna's did a wonderful job. I loved my flowers, they did exactly as I asked. People are still telling me that my flowers were stunning!

Of all the things I planned ahead of time for my wedding, I neglected ordering flowers til the month before. Big mistake, so take note! I did, however, find a vendor who promised to get me exactly what I wanted in the time-frame I needed it in. I ordered large bride's bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, and a toss bouquet made primarily of fresh roses with some jewels mixed in. I also ordered lots and lots of "toss" for the flower girls, and was specific about what I wanted in that. I ordered fresh flowers for my centerpieces, which we assembled ourselves. Finally, I rented an archway from them, and had them adorn it with imitation roses and vines. The bouquets and flowers for the centerpieces were beautiful, although I feel I overpaid a bit for them. The thing that was AMAZING, though, was the decorated arch. This piece really popped, and looked fantastic! Best part: Nobody even realized the flowers on that were imitation! I recommend this florist because they were creative and met all of my needs (and odd requests). I also suggest that brides really look in to the imitation flowers - I know it may seem cheesy, but they were even more beautiful than the live ones (and far less expensive!)
