I am an Irish born musician working from my base in White Plains, NY. I founded this wedding band in 2010 and we have played hundreds of weddings since. We have performed and entertained folks from Vermont to Florida, Nantucket to San Francisco and states in between. I love meeting clients and being involved in their celebration but performing on stage and entertaining people is what I thrive on. The McLean Avenue Band played at our wedding in October 2024 and they truly made our whole wedding. They were so lively and fun, and knew exactly what the crowd wanted to hear. Our dance floor was packed all night long and people still ask us about our wedding band. Padraig and the gang were so kind and easy to work with and they are such a talented group of musicians. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a fun, high energy band book the McLean Avenue Band. You will not regret it!

I first heard McLean Avenue Band at my cousin's wedding, then my sister's, then my own! They have never failed to disappoint and Padraig made the process as stress-free as possible. The music was fantastic and he is also a great MC, helping with the flow of the wedding and making sure everyone was having a great time!

When we started wedding planning, my husband and I were debating getting married in Ireland or in the states. We ultimately decided to get married in the US but had a goal to make it the most Irish wedding we could. The first step was finding a band stateside that could play Irish tunes and keep the dance floor packed. By a miracle, my husband found McLean Avenue Band…we booked them for our wedding in Napa on July 6th and they did not disappoint! McLean Avenue Band lifted the roof off the building! They brought incredible energy, talent, and charisma to the night, keeping the dance floor packed from start to finish. In the beginning, they had the whole crowd on their feet before we ever entered the room. Padraig had taken the time to find out what county the majority of guests were coming from. During dinner, they played Rose of Tralee and My Lovely Rose of Clare. Their mix of traditional Irish tunes and modern favorites had guests of all ages up and dancing the entire night. The fiddle and saxophone added even more flare. They even had my American college friends on the floor for Rock the Boat. So many of our friends and family still tell us how amazing our wedding was and a LARGE part of that was thanks to McLean Avenue Band. Their ability to read the crowd was spot on. They truly made our celebration unforgettable. If you're looking for a band that guarantees a lively, unforgettable atmosphere, look no further than McLean Avenue Band. Highly, highly recommend!

It's hard to put into words how incredible the McLean Ave Band is! My husband and I booked them for our wedding in June, before we even got engaged! We knew that we hands down wanted McLean Ave to be OUR band for the biggest day of our lives. So much so that we were willing to change the date of our wedding based upon their availability! Padriag Allen, was so easy to get in touch with, I think he picked up the phone on the first ring. He was extremely accommodating and let me not forget to mention how funny he is to boot! The wedding planning process can be stressful dealing with different vendors not paying much attention to you until weeks before your wedding. Padriag, spoke to us regularly for months leading up to the wedding, always assuring us that things were going to be perfect. Let me tell you... everything was PERFECT!! McLean Ave showed up, looked fantastic, and had all 210 people on the dance floor the whole time. The dance floor was rockin'! We can not simply say enough about how amazing the McLean Ave Band was! If we were to do it all again, we'd choose them over and over!!

We used McLean Avenue Band for our May 2024 wedding -- they had us and our guests on the dance floor all night! Throughout our planning process, they were super helpful, offering suggestions where needed while also listening to what we wanted. If you're planning an Irish / Irish American wedding, their ability to play the wedding classics as well as 'the Irish stuff' is unmatched. Highly recommend!

I will begin by saying this: McLean Avenue Band truly had our entire guest list dancing from first to very, very last song. This was one of the few things that was so important to my wife and I who got married on September 23, 2023, in Madison, CT. We wanted our wedding to feel like a massive dinner party turned dance party with all of the people we love. Padraig and McLean Avenue, along with our other incredible vendors, made this happen for us. When our amazing wedding planner, Regina (Weddings by Regina Marie), connected us to Padraig, it became quickly clear that McLean Avenue's talent, warmth, and energy was exactly what we were looking for. While we didn't get to meet Padraig in person until the day of the wedding (as my wife and I live in Denver, CO), it felt like we already knew him well from the few conversations we had had about what we were looking for. We filled out a form to help the band get to know our music taste and preferences and let them take it from there! We got so many compliments on behalf of McLean Avenue and their ability to keep the crowd going, to transition from live to recorded for their (very few) breaks, and their undeniable musical talent. We have hundreds and hundreds of pictures that show just how happy everyone was to be in their presence for the night. I must also say that McLean Avenue also went far above and beyond with a couple of specific requests. First, they learned a specific song that we wanted played as we walked down the aisle, which they did a stunning job with. And even more notable, they accepted my sneaky request to learn the backing to a specific Taylor Swift song that is my wife's favorite, and that I wanted to surprise her with by singing on our wedding day to her. I hopped on stage to surprise my wife and had the honor of singing with the band! It absolutely made my wife's day (as if it wasn't already made). Finally, when we had a logistical problem with part of our payment, Padraig was so understanding, so helpful, and so ready to accommodate. We remain so grateful to McLean Avenue for all that they did for us. Entrust Padraig and this awesome crew of phenomenal musicians to make your event unforgettable! The best wedding band! The McLean Ave was FANTASTIC! We’ve been fans for years and knew we wanted them as our wedding band. From the beginning, Padraig and team were accommodating and a pleasure to work with. From the bag pipers, to the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception the band was great. Book the McLean ave band now!! Having live music/constant dancing was really important to us for our wedding day and the Mclean ave band delivered!! Padraig was always responsive to my requests/thoughts throughout the planning of the wedding and the final performance was nothing short of spectacular. They were able to do great live versions of all the songs we picked out for special moments, including ceremony music/processional, intros and our first dance and parent dances, they even worked with us when we wanted to do a mashup for our father daughter dance which was a hit!! During the wedding and even now, weeks later people are still complimenting them to me and are amazed at how good they were. My cousin who is planning her own wedding may have given the line of the night "they ruined all other bands/djs for me" so hire them now as they will be "simply the best"

Padraig Allen & the McLean Avenue Band are PHENOMENAL!! We could not be happier that they were our wedding band! They are truly so talented -- they performed amazing renditions of songs across all types of genres at our wedding... Irish, Italian, American, Country, Pop, etc. They had everyone up dancing throughout the entire night -- our guests keep saying how awesome they were! Plus, Padraig is always such a pleasure to work with and he always makes sure all of the events he does run perfectly. The McLean Avenue Band was the star of our wedding! Padraig and the band flew to Ireland to perform for us, and it was an unbelievable experience. ALL of our guests are still talking about how brilliant the band was. Padraig performed during our reception/cocktail hour, and then the band played for the night. Within minutes of starting, the dance floor was full and remained that way! We were a Covid-delayed wedding, and Padraig was so understanding when it came to rescheduling, not once but three times! Everything about our experience was top-notch. I absolutely recommend the McLean Avenue band; book them now, and you will not regret it! There are no words that can describe McLean Avenue Band, they are absolutely incredible!!! Padraig was an absolute pleasure to work with, he and the rest of the band are amazing!!! Everyone can not stop talking about them!! Even my skeptical fiancé(now husband) wasn’t sure on the band route and he was completely blown away! Padraig and the McLean Avenue Band were awesome! They did a great job working with us to customize our must plays and do-not plays. They had our guests on the dance floor all night. We spoke with Padraig on the phone a week before the wedding and asked him to play a slowed-down version of our first dance song and he did an incredible job. We had so much fun with the McLean Avenue Band!

Padraig and the McLean Avenue Band are hands down the BEST live wedding band around. We were so lucky to have them perform at our wedding in Connecticut and we received rave reviews from all of our guests! Everyone keeps talking about how amazing our band was!!!! I promise you, the McLean Avenue Band will take your wedding to the next level and keep your guests on the dance floor. Everything from the talented musicians and singers to the sound, lighting, and pure charisma were amazing. I can’t say enough good things about the Mc Lean Avenue Band! We moved our wedding three times and changed venues due to Covid and the Mc Lean Ave. Band worked with us to accommodate the changes. They made our wedding so special with all of our guests out on the dance floor! We were able to forget that we were in a global pandemic for a few hours and have a great time at our wedding!

Padraig and his band were outstanding! They were so accommodating to playing specific song requests, having my dad sing during part of the reception and reading the room for when to play certain songs. They kept everyone on the dance floor all night long! A good band is so essential to a wedding reception, and with McClean Avenue you are getting a GREAT band. Highly recommend!!

We had McLean Ave Band play at our wedding at Sea Cliff Manor August 13th and they were absolutely amazing. There are not enough great things I can say about Padraig. He not only was so easy to work with, he is kind and so professional. What stood out to a lot of people was the fact that from the first dance, he got everyone off their feet and kept them dancing all night long. Many guests continue to rave about their performance and how much fun they had.

Padraig and the entire McLean Avenue band were the cherry on top for our perfect wedding. We reached out to Padraig last spring / summer and from that point on we knew we were in good hands. Padraig was easy to reach out to, extremely responsive, and supportive in every step of the way. From the ceremony instrumental music we requested ,to the reception where we asked the band to have full range, to the surprising and amazing acoustic version of Andre Bocelli, could not have asked for better. A week later and people are still reaching out to us telling us how amazing the band was and asking for their information. I cannot say enough great things! Thank you Padraig and the entire night for an unforgettable night.

Padraig and the McLean Avenue Band were absolutely phenomenal!!! My daughter Caitlin and my son in law Michael knew right away that this is the band they wanted for the wedding and you just exceeded our expectations. The night was just perfect, the dance floor was full from the first song on. We loved every song played and also having some of that Irish music so important to us. Padraig and the McLean Avenue Band were amazing!! The band was GREAT, and Pagraig made everything run so smoothly when it came to entrances, dances, toasts, etc. I didn't have to stress about a timeline or worry about guests not having fun- the band did it all and kept the energy high the entire night! We had booked this band for our November 28th wedding. However, when our venue called us in September and told us that our 200 person wedding would not happen due to Covid restrictions, my fiancé and I decided to cancel the venue and have a smaller, more intimate wedding elsewhere. When we contacted Padraig to tell him, he was very understanding and offered to play for us at a later date. We explained that we were not having another ceremony in 2021 and would like the money back that we had put down. This was not including the deposit since we were understanding, and only wanted the extra money we had sent to pay off the band. He told us to give him a month because apparently “times were tough” and he didn’t have the money to return to us at the moment. Fast forward to the end of December, he sent us a check and claimed he had the right to keep 20% of what we had paid. Which is RIDICULOUS because he never mentioned that to us. My fiancé and I lost a lot of money too and it is upsetting that he did not give back the money that was promised to us. Please be extra careful when booking with this band and make sure you have everything in writing!

The McLean Avenue band is simply the best. They can do it all and have a special talent for reading the crowd and playing exactly what they want to hear. My wedding wasn't at a traditional wedding venue and didn't have an actual dance floor but with the Mclean Avenue band people couldn't help but dance where they were. They turned my wedding in to the best party I have ever been to. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful McLean Ave Band is!! From start to finish, they kept the crowd pumped up!! Starting with cocktail hour, straight through dessert. We still have people commenting on our “wedding band”. Padraig took the time to meet with us personally to go over music and theme. You wont be disappointed! BOOK BOOK BOOK

If your thinking of booking the McLean Avenue Band for your wedding- just do it! They created a great atmosphere at our wedding in December. Our guests are still talking about how amazing they are. Some of our guests who never dance, didn't leave the floor once during the night! The best part was when the band took a break there was a DJ so the music continued all night.

The McLean Avenue Band is the PERFECT band to have at a wedding!!! Padraig & the band played at our wedding two weeks ago on New Year's Eve. We had many requests (probably more than we should have!) when it came to the music - my husband's father wanted to sing a song, we wanted our nieces and nephews to sing happy birthday to my husband's brother, we had a few "must-play" songs with specific timing for them, and my husband's parents wanted to do an Irish set with their friends. The band openly accepted these requests and obliged - and did a fantastic job at that! The band backed the kids singing happy birthday as well my father in law singing and did an incredible job listening to them and following suite. As if we hadn't given them enough requests, I texted Padraig the morning of the wedding asking for a specific entrance song for my husband and I. He replied immediately and told me they'd play it on the iPad, which was perfectly fine with me. When my husband and I did the first look in the ballroom before the guests arrived, Padraig & the band were practicing the song and ended up playing it themselves when we entered! Our guests cannot stop talking about two things from our wedding - the food and the BAND. They had everyone up on the floor dancing the whole time, which was what we most wanted from our wedding. They did a fun NYE countdown for the guests and then DJ-ed the last hour, as was agreed upon prior to the wedding. One of my bridesmaids actually loved them so much she said she wants to fly them to Florida for her own wedding someday! You cannot go wrong in choosing McLean Avenue Band for your wedding!!!!

McLean Avenue band were a huge part of our October 11th wedding in Brotherhood Winery, New York. They had the room rocking from start to finish. They mixed in the oldies, classics & sing alongs with modern hits and plenty of Irish party tracks to keep everyone happy. The dancefloor was full from start to finish. Padraig did an exceptional job as MC on the day also. Many guests have been talking about the band since our big day. Padraig was very professional to work with since the first day we reached out to him and he was able to tailor the personnel and music selections to suit our tastes. I would not hesitate to reccomend this band to anyone looking for a fun time for all guests.

BOOK MCLEAN AVENUE BAND NOW!! Padraig and his band members were the highlight of our wedding and made our wedding even better!!! We got married at Crested Hen Farms in High Falls NY. We had a fiddle player for our outdoor ceremony and the 7 piece band & DJ for the reception. Padraig was so amazing to work with, he was so responsive and helpful since the first time we contacted him. He really made sure everything went smoothly for our wedding. Our guests were up dancing the whole time and Padraig knew how to work the crowd and played the right songs for our guests. My husband and I had so much fun dancing and the band exceeded our expectations. We continue to get compliments after the wedding how amazing they were and made the night. Thank you to The Mclean Avenue Band. They played at our wedding this past Saturday and it was more than a great time. No one sat down the entire time. Such talented, talented musicians. We are so happy we were able to have them come and play on our day. Was so fun and upbeat and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Padraig and to all the wonderful musicians who came and performed. Our guests are still raving about the fun they had dancing and how great this band is. Highly recommended. We may need to have another party! The entire planning process leading to our party was so pleasant as well, very down to earth and kind. Very professional. Thank you again.

Let’s get right to the point: The McLean Avenue Band was the best we could have ever expected for our wedding! From the first, our arrangements with the band were straight-forward and simple — our interactions with Padraig were always positive and anticipatory of the fun! From the moment we walked into our reception, the band created the most energetic feeling — truly electric!! The band was having fun — and that woman on the fuchsia violin, outrageous!! All of the wedding guests were up and dancing the entire four hours — we danced upstairs with our guests as well as on the main dance floor! Of course, the time at a wedding reception always speeds by, but in this case, all the time the McLean Avenue Band played was evocative!! Our guests are still telling us we had the best band! Thank you Padraig and the whole McLean Avenue Band!!

We knew from the start we wanted to have a band at our wedding and we spent a lot of time researching for the perfect group to set the mood for the night. The McLean Avenue Band were the first band we went to see prior to booking a vendor and they immediately blew us away. We knew from the moment they started playing they were the fun and energetic band we wanted to perform the night of our wedding. We first contacted Padraig to see them play at a local bar and from then on, he was always readily available to talk and easy to communicate with. He was receptive to any specific requests we made while also offering us helpful advice for music choices. The night of our wedding Padraig was there to help set up sound for our ceremony and worked well with our Maître d’. We had a cello and a violin play our ceremony music and it was simply beautiful. The band also provided our cocktail hour with speakers to play our pre-selected playlist. Padraig did an excellent job with our introductions and kept the reception moving smoothly. We never had to give the band a specific setlist as he knew the style we were looking for and were able to read the crowd the night of our wedding. They played a wide selection of genres to keep everyone on the dance floor and everyone could not stop coming up to us throughout the night to say how fun the band was. Even now more than a week later our guests are still raving about what a blast they had. The most fun part of the night was when the band played their own rendition of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” and had everyone roaring with the incredible fiddle playing. McLean Avenue Band truly made our whole wedding come together and we could not have pictured it without them there. We know choosing a band is often a big (and costly) decision, but we could not recommend this band more as they made our wedding a night to remember for everyone there, not just us. We actually requested to have McClean Avenue Band play after having them at my sisters wedding.They are amazing all around, not only are they punctual, lively and fun, they are really awesome people! Padraic made everything so easy, and he was able to make changes day of for us , which made the day amazing. I wound up getting pregnant before my wedding (I do not recommend), and literally forgot to tell him some of things I wanted, and they made it work! He also checked on me during the night to see how I was feeling, just such a nice guy. Now, that being said, the music is phenomenal, the female singer was hitting some amazing notes, and they had everyone up and dancing all night. No one wanted to leave and everyone raves about them still. I highly recommend them to anyone, they will make you happy. They are so diverse, considerate, and overall an incredibly professional band. We can’t thank them enough!!!

The McLean Avenue Band was the absolutely best! We received so many compliments from our wedding guests and could not have been happier with the quality, variety of music and fun they provided on our wedding day. My husband and I knew we wanted a live band for our wedding and when we saw them perform in White Plains we knew they were it. They even helped me coordinate a small Irish step dancing performance I did at my wedding. Padraig is a pleasure to work with and truly wanted to make our day special, even calling us the day before to make sure our first dance song was the way we wanted it to be. These guys are top notch and so talented! From the singers to the musicians this band has it all and truly will make any wedding day incredible!

The Mclean Avenue Band were amazing from the planning of the wedding to the night itself, Padraig Allen was so helpful and easy to work with. And the band is incredible, they know how to work the crowd, playing just what we wanted and keeping the guests dancing all night long. From the ceremony music, cocktail music and then dancing away after dinner, everything was seamless and I could enjoy my wedding without a care in the world. We had suggested a few songs the relatives from Cork would like, and some Irish tunes that we love, and the rest we left to the band to mix it up Irish and American, and it was brilliant. All of our guests raved at what fun they had. We had seen the band play locally in our neighborhood and we look forward to seeing them whenever they play near us again.

Everyone from our wedding has been texting and calling to say you guys were the best band they’ve ever heard at a wedding! I am a wedding coordinator / day-of-coordinator and had the pleasure of working with the McLean Avenue band this weekend for Kelly and Bob's wedding at Waterloo Village. Padraig and the whole band were amazing. They were so personable and easy to work with. They did a great job arranging the perfect mix of traditional wedding songs, today's pop hits, fun classics and adding in the perfect touch of Irish flare. The woman fiddler was amazing. THE BEST EVER! The McLean Ave Band drove all they way down from NY to DC for our wedding. They started the reception with an amazing intro which got all of our guests fired up. They continued this energy for the rest of the night. The dance floor was full with everyone partying and dancing and singing their hearts out. The music choices were perfect. I cannot say enough amazing things about Padraig and his band. So many of my guests told me the next morning that it was the best wedding they had ever been to and it was because of how good of a time they had with the band.

Where do I even begin...Padraig and the McLean Avenue Band are PHENOMENAL!!! They rocked the house the entire night. The dance floor was NEVER empty, the play anything and everything and were just AMAZING! My husband and I love music and having a live band was a priority for our wedding. We could not imagine booking any other band to play on such a special occasion that we will forever remember. We would chose them a million times over and recommend them to anyone planning a wedding 1000%!!! Padraig and the band are such professionals and made the whole process extremely easy. They covered a wide variety of music that all our guests enjoyed and danced the night away. Thank you to Padraig and the band for making our wedding such a memorable and eventful night! Words can not convey how extraordinary it was to have the McLean Avenue Band perform at our wedding. Working with Padraig was a delight from start to finish - he is an absolute professional and able to calm the nerves of any bride with his knowledge of the industry and just the right touches to make the day special. The joy we felt on our wedding day was captured by the music of the band. On top of our delight in the music all of our guest were also blown away by the performance and the talent from start to finish. I will always have a warm place in my heart for them and all that they did for us. Could not recommend them any more highly - they will have us as fans for life.

Padraig and the McLean avenue band are seriously THE most fun, ever!!!! They made our wedding an absolute blast. We asked Padraig to perform our first dance song called "Feels like Home" by chantal kreviazuk ( a woman) and he completely and utterly blew everyone away with how amazing he performed this song. I will never forget it. The band had the dance floor PACKED every second of the wedding. Padraig was so easy to work with, laid back, and always willing to talk and answer any questions needed. The McLean Avenue band was so much fun for all of our irish guests and NONirish guests alike!!! We LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!

PHENOMENAL! They have been the talk of the town since our wedding! If you're looking for something more unique than the typical DJ+MC combo, Padraig and McLean Ave are it! They are extremely versatile and able to seamlessly perform Irish music and contemporary music. They were an absolute blast and treat to have at our wedding. The ensemble is incredibly talented and it was a solid investment for a wonderful night! The dance floor was hardly empty! Thank you Padraig for helping us create some fun memories!

If you're looking for a band, you found them, if you're looking for a DJ, change your mind and get this band. These guys are brilliant musicians and entertainers. They worked with us leading up to the wedding to do our ceremony music, cocktail hour and the reception. Their music selection and talent added so much to our wedding, and Padraig is a great emcee. Our guests are still talking about their favorite songs of the night.

What a great band!! We were looking for a band for our Sunday brunch wedding that could play several different types of music, and McLean Ave band won us over!! They were a reasonable price, so amazing in responding, and the day of the wedding was perfect!! They worked with us on everything and we got SO many compliments!!! i would recommend this band to any and everyone!!

We had the McLean Avenue Band at our wedding at the Fountainhead on 11/11/2017. They were spectacular! Our guests are still raving about how it was the best wedding band they have ever heard perform. They played all of our requests and had everyone (and I mean people that never ever dance) up dancing all night. All of our guests, both young and old, complemented us on our choice of band. They were also so easy to deal with- they responded really quickly and the process was smooth. I highly recommend them- they can easily play to any crowd and they play a wide variety of music.
