Meg did a FANTASTIC job with our wedding photos! After making several changes with our wedding being postponed due to Covid-19, she was so easy to work with and understanding. The photos she took are stunning. She captured different times of the day for the best lighting and effects. She captured the feelings of the day and made us feel so relaxed. During the craziness that happens during a wedding, the last thing I worried about was how our pictures would look because we trusted her completely. I found Meg's eye through the Minnesota Brides Facebook page. my husband was extremely picky and it took my months to find someone he liked. We had a tight budget so we booked the 6 hour package and we truly packed in every single moment in the 6 hours. Meg was so supportive! We are both not picture people but she made us so comfortable we have no awkward photos. we got 1200 photos and LOVE them all. My guests were so impressed by her. during happy hour she went around and took photos of all my guests having a good time. I can't help but tear up when I look at my photos they are so breathe taking. Meg is absolutely amazing and so talented you will not be disappointed! I had so many vendors to worry about planning my wedding and Meg was never difficult. I never had to worry about her she was prompt in her responses and exceeded our expectations! Meg did our engagement session and wedding day. We purchased the 8 hour package with a second shooter. I love her style and wide angle shots and knew she’d be great for our venue. I LOVED our engagement photos so much. I’m a huge fan of winter and my husband loves craft beer so we shot at both the Ice Castles and Excelsior Brewing. We got over 200 photos in less than 2 hours. Our wedding photos were everything I wanted and then some. We ended up adding an extra hour of coverage to ensure we could get the detail shots I wanted and it was worth it. Even with 9 hours, I felt like we didn’t get as many individual pictures of my husband and me or as many “fun” shots as I wanted. This is not a knock on Meg, getting the family shots was a higher priority for me and those took some time. Wat as our second shooter. We ended up with more than 1600 edited images! Everything was delivered in 7 weeks which is right in the promised 6-8 weeks from the contract. Meg is also such a kind and fun person who managed to get all of our crazy family to smile for some great images.

Meg is an AMAZING and talented photographer! We went with Meg for our engagement photos which turned out amazing, and we knew she wouldn't disappoint on the our big day. We consulted ahead of the wedding to make sure we had the day tentatively planned out and which portraits we were going to do. This was extremely helpful and honestly helped with planning the itinerary for the day. Meg is very knowledgeable in all things regarding weddings, not just photography and that was a big help. She also gave some tips to us to make our pictures better and I passed those along to the wedding party. She was very conscious of what we wanted to get out of your day regarding photos, meaning do we want to take a ton of portraits and wedding party pictures, or do we want to have more candids as we bar hop a bit between the ceremony and reception, or a mix of both. It was great having these expectations set up front. Meg would set up the most amazing photos and then just pull my husband and I in once it was setup. For example, she setup a really amazing photo where the lighting was just beautiful at the brewery we stopped at then when my husband and I were free, she pulled us aside and snapped some really great photos. It all seem just so effortless for us, when I know it was a lot of work and very detailed for her. Meg is really great at communicator and articulates how people should adjust for a certain photos/poses. This was really helpful as I feel like sometimes I can be an awkward person in photos, but you would never be able to tell with how well our photos turned out! Meg's assistance, Kim, was also amazing and the two complimented each other tremendously. They both had such incredible attention to detail and it definitely shows. They both were very professional, but knew how to read a crowd and help coral folks when needed. We have so many great photos from the day and I cannot thank Meg enough for everything. When we got our pictures back, it was like re-living the day all over again. Meg did some really cool enhancements with some of our photos and would recommend Meg over and over again!

I asked Meg to shoot my proposal “undercover” and boy did she do a great job! She really captured every part of the proposal perfectly! We couldn’t stop looking at the pictures she created! We did an engagement session with Meg and we were so happy with the results! We were both a bit nervous since we don't really like our pictures taken, but Meg was able to make us feel so relaxed! Megs Eye Photography was very professional and very well organized with getting all of our photos done and making sure everything is included shots with family members and specially special shots with friends that we wanted. Everything was absolutely perfect I couldn't have asked for any better photos by any other company. Hands down my first go to for every occasion.

Meg is great! She is so easy to work with. Your visions and ideas are her top priority. Although, I found that some of my favorite pictures were 100% her ideas! She is laid back while simultaneously keeping everything on time. She was such a calming presence for my craziness on the day. She was never a drill sergeant with the bridal party, she just gave directions efficiently and caught everyone having fun on camera.

Meg was overall fantastic to work with! As a couple that isn't super comfortable in front of the camera, we felt that Meg did a great job helping us feel (and look) natural. She asked great questions at the pre-wedding meeting, which ultimately helped capture our day in the most beautiful way possible. On top of it all, she was someone who was able to keep us on schedule without any sense of being hurried; her calming, kind presence was so appreciated.

Meg was wonderful to work with! She came and met my husband and I to show us photos from other weddings she had shot at our same venue. She was prompt in responses and took the time to learn family dynamics to make the day go smoothly. On the day of our wedding she was so easy to work with and orchestrated our large wedding party and families with ease making photos a fun part of our day!!! Megan did fantastic work on my sister's wedding photography. She took extra time to learn about the culture and different ceremonies; therefore, mindfully capturing unique details throughout the week of festivities. Her amazing, thoughtful, personal style of shooting allowed her to authentically create a diverse collection of memories for our family. In one of my favorite pictures she juxtaposed a tiny garden frog in my sister's freshly henna-ed hands. I was also surprised she was so easily able to get over 60 family members (babies to over 80 years old) to look at and smile at the camera! My extended family thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated having her through the week to document our memories together!

Meg's photos stood out to us in our search. She helped up with outfit ideas as well as location options. We were excited that she was okay incorporating our puppy for part of the engagement session! We also went to 2 close by locations! We love the variety and her ability to get us laughing and relax a bit. She told us she wasn't really there, and we were on a date!

Meg's Eye was one of a few photographers recommended to us by another photographer who was already booked on our date. We liked what we saw on Meg's website the best, so we got in touch. We liked her work, packages, and speaking to her on the phone, but I was nervous because we were planning the wedding from Philadelphia and wouldn't have a chance to meet Meg before the wedding day and everyone was advising us to meet with all potential vendors. Meg has such amazing reviews which made us more comfortable to take the risk, and I am so glad we did! Meg reached out 1-2 months before the wedding to discuss the portrait lists we wanted, locations, etc. I told her I had no idea for any of it, and she made sure to get every combination of family/bridal party we could want, and chose absolutely gorgeous locations within a few miles of our venue. As soon as I met Meg and Kayla (our second shooter), while doing the final touches on hair and makeup I was at ease, they were both so easy to talk to and immediately starting taking photos of accessories, dresses, getting ready, and preparing the "first look". As a bride who really didn't have an idea what pictures I wanted, I really appreciated Meg's ability to decide for me and take control. After the ceremony Meg would have me and my husband sneak out and get photos as the sun was setting and night shots. Though we got less and less enthusiastic about leaving our party, these shots turned out absolutely incredible. Looking at our gallery now we are stunned by how many shots we love, and we love the amount of photos that take us through the entire day, step by step. Having a second shooter also helped with this, we are so glad we got to have Kayla too. I recommend Meg to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, I can't imagine the wedding without her!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that Meg photographed. I told her that day what a good job she did. She was organized and knew how to keep us moving. She make things go smoothly and I was impressed how she was able to get things done quickly. I've been in other weddings where pictures were a pain. She made things fun!

You can tell that Meg loves what she does. She shot our engagement pics in Milwaukee and did her research to make sure we were at the right spot at the right time to get the most awesome sunset shots. She then shot 3 days of events for our Indian wedding. Her level of effort was over the top. Between our communication and her own research, she wanted to make sure she had a proper understanding of the cultural traditions to ensure she captured all the right moments. She was so patient with shooting my large family and everyone was very comfortable with her. Best of all, the pics turned out amazing!

Meg is someone who loves what she does and it shows in her work. I've seen her work change with the culture to stay relavant. For our engagement pictures she made sure we both felt comfortable and that we got the shots we wanted. My fiancé does not like cameras or posing for pictures. We really fell in love with Meg's photography. She captures weddings in such a different way than all the photographers we viewed. We also loved that we met with her and got to spend one on one time. Meg went above and beyond anything I could have ever asked of her for my wedding day. My fiance and I wanted to have a little pop-up photo booth and we thought we could DIY something together. Things got busy with the wedding and we bought some props but never got around to figuring out the logistics. I asked Meg what we should do and she brought professional lighting, backdrops, and even a second photographer at the very last second. We were able to get TWO photo albums (one for the wedding and another set from the photo booth) and they were both incredible! Everyone absolutely loved the photo booth and had nothing but compliments when the photos came out. Meg also saw our theme (which was Pop Art) and took one of the photos from our engagement photo and surprised us with a HUGE Warhol-esque print that we have hanging in our living room to this day! Meg is, no question, a sure bet for amazing wedding photography. She had everything covered, was prompt and professional, and delivered everything you would expect from a top-level professional. She did our engagement shoot, too, and we'll use her again in the future for anything else in our lives we want to capture!

I want to get married all over again just so I can have Meg shoot our wedding again. We had so many guest come up to us and tell us how nice and professional she was. Everything went so smoothly even when I was chasing down late groomsmen. Meg just kept rolling with pictures. I'm really happy that I decided to have her document our day.

I was not a traditional bride who had a clear vision of what I wanted my wedding photos to look like. I am also extremely uncomfortable in front of the camera and being the center of attention. Meg quickly picked up on how I was feeling and was reassuring, supportive and kind. She helped me relax and feel more confident. She has a very calm and happy demeanor which made me feel comfortable and cared for. She was unbelievably patient and encouraging with me, which made me feel like she really cared about me and my wedding and that this was something she was passionate about, not just a job. It was obvious that she was invested in making sure I had a great wedding and great memories of my wedding. My husband and I did not want many photos and weren't very excited about the photo shoot process but Meg managed to gently encourage us to do a few additional poses and settings which now, looking back, I am so grateful to have. She knew what we would want before we did and created extra work for herself just so we wouldn't regret anything later. So many of our favorite photos though are the ones she took without us noticing, which capture us as a couple in our natural state while still looking beautiful and flattering. Her photos show how sensitive she is to you as an individual and what a gift she has for capturing personality and love in a photo when other photographers merely capture an image. Meg's photos captured the joy we felt at our wedding and preserved it in a way that is beautiful and representative of us as a couple. Her photos are works of art. She not only photographs traditional wedding images but she also photographs all the tiny details that remind you of what the day really felt like and she does it in a way that looks like art; you would love the photo even if you didn't know it was taken at your wedding just because the colors and the image and the lighting are so beautiful. I cannot say enough about how much I respect Meg as a person and photographer and truly believe that my wedding was better because she was a part of it. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Meg is an incredibly talented and experienced photographer. She showed up to do a shoot at the MN State Fair with a huge bag of gear that she carried around all day in 90 degree weather with no problem. She has an amazing eye for a great picture and she took into account our personalities with the choice of setting, colors, and lighting. I'm not very photogenic and a little uncomfortable having my picture taken but Meg gave great instructions and feedback and the pictures turned out great! I highly recommend Meg. She has years and years of experience and connects with you on a really personal, casual level so that the experience is relaxing and fun!
