Scott was recommended me by another couple and so I reached out to him. He was very responsive and eager to work with us. I was impressed by his professionalism as well as the quality of the photographs that he captured of all of us. Our wedding day was long and chaotic, but he managed to capture the best moments of our wedding as well as the specific personality and flair of our wedding. We planned a roaring twenties wedding and he captured a lot of photographs that emphasized the romanticism of our style. Scott charged us a very reasonable priced considering the fact that he arrived at 1:00pm and stayed well into the reception to take photos. I highly recommend this photographer for your wedding! *I am not the most photogenic person and he was able to capture me at the right angle and get some great shots of me and my husband.

Scott exceeded our very high expectations. Starting months ahead of the wedding, he did our engagement photo shoot, and he was flexible on both time and location. Leading up to the wedding day, Scott communicated well with us to create a timeline for pictures before the wedding including even suggesting unique local sites. Scott was very efficient, taking seemingly hundreds of photos in just a few minutes, and still made sure our wedding day was fun. It was a dream working with Scott for our wedding. We seriously could not have asked for a better photographer. He was so easy to work with and did the best job capturing our day and not to mention how easy and fun he made taking the portraits. Photographer Scott Metzger of Metzger Studios Scott photographed our wedding in August of 2023 and we could not recommend him more. We knew of his incredible work as he had shot the groom’s sister’s wedding a few years before. The photos from that wedding were creative, artistic, and, simply put, stunning. It didn’t take much to convince either one of us to go with him as we were both drawn to his unique style and original point of view. Scott was so easy to work with, right from the first time we contacted him. All of his responses were timely and professional, whether via email or phone. We met via Zoom to discuss his services and pricing and immediately felt at ease. For an incredibly fair price, we got Scott and a second photographer (Kathy) for 8 hours. Also included was an album with 60 retouched photos, a thumb drive with all the photos taken, and an incredibly sweet blog post highlighting some of the gorgeous photos from our day. He also guaranteed that if he couldn’t make it on the day of the wedding for whatever reason, he would provide a back-up photographer for us. On the actual wedding day, we gave Scott complete artistic license to bring our day to life through photos. His work with reflections is so second to none; it’s so interesting to see ourselves reflected in a wine glass or a table top. He did a great job corralling our large families to get all the shots we had asked for, especially given that the sun was setting and the natural light was quickly disappearing. He kept everyone on task and did it in such a way that it only enhanced our experience with him. Many of our friends and family complimented Scott's (and Kathy’s) professionalism and willingness to accommodate any requests that our guests made of him for their own unique pictures all while making sure we were his priority throughout the day. After the wedding, Scott created a beautiful slideshow on YouTube that we were able to show our guests. It so perfectly encapsulated our day, especially given how quickly it seemed to pass for both of us. We cannot recommend Scott Metzger enough. His artistic vision is eye-catching and visually appealing. He is very fairly priced and incredibly easy to work with. If you’re looking for a photographer with an artistic eye and that listens to what you want out of your photos, please consider Scott.

Scott photographed our engagement shoot and our wedding at Harrington Farm and we could not recommend him more. He is personable and makes you feel comfortable while also capturing incredibly beautiful moments from a special day. We are in love with our pictures. My wife and I found Scott through our wedding venue at Zukas. As soon as he showed us his portfolio we knew he was the perfect photographer for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding he communicated very well so we had no worries before the wedding. I met Scott when he was photographing my friend's wedding during COVID, and was impressed by his talent, creativity and friendliness. We hired him as our wedding photographer, and was so glad we did! Working with Scott was absolutely amazing! From the start setting up our engagement shoot to having to push our wedding off a full 18 months due to COVID- Scott really worked with us on finding a new date to work so we could continue to work together! Come the weeks leading up to our big day- Scott was so incredibly responsive and always answered every single question in such a timely manner. He helped us formulate a perfect day of timeline and also assisted in helping us think of some really good & fun shots for our shot list. Scott and Javier did such an amazing job for my wedding. I had found them through some friends and ended up booking about 2 years out, so I had lots of down time before I actually had a chance to meet with them. Throughout those two years, Scott was always incredibly receptive and helpful when I reached out - even if it was just to make sure we were still on track, or just to say hello. By the time the wedding rolled around, Scott had eased every fear I had - he found a location for first look photos near the venue, had coached me on what kind of shots I might want to have, and had worked with me to figure out the timing of everything for the big day. I'll admit that my new husband and I aren't the most comfortable in front of the camera but Scott did an amazing job of keeping us smiling, happy, and looking natural throughout all of our photos. Javier was also an incredible addition to the team and acted like a guest at our wedding (in the best possible way - blending in to the crowds so he could grab shots from the middle of the action, and getting my 90 year old Nana out on the dance floor. I think she ended the night with a crush!) There was truly no angle spared, and I felt like Scott stayed for as long as I needed him to - well beyond what most photographers afford their clients! On the day of the wedding, I had a problem with my form of payment and Scott could not have been nicer about it - assuring me not to worry, and being willing to accept the second installment a couple days late because of it. Since the wedding, Scott has been prompt with communication/follow up and I could not be happier with the photos. I would highly recommend Scott and his team to anyone!

Everyone knows weddings are stressful. Everyone wants things to go as near perfect as they can get it. Especially with photos which will last a life time. Scott and his second in command Javier did what we were hoping for and so much more on top of that. Scott was super communicative from day 1 when we first contacted him to ask about his services and how he operates as a photographer. We could not have asked for a better photographer or person to work with for our engagement session and wedding day. From first meeting, he was punctual, professional, and had a great sense of humor which really made us feel at ease from the get go! We were a pandemic couple who had to reschedule many times. Scott was always in constant communication and was extremely flexible with us. During our wedding day he & Javier were so personable and really made us feel comfortable. I’ve always felt self conscious getting my picture taken but Scott & Javier made me feel absolutely stunning. Their style is like no other and I’m so excited to get all of the pictures! My girls and I had a great time joking around with the both of them, we’re still talking about it. I was originally supposed to get married in May 2020. We had to postpone our wedding THREE times due to Covid. Scott was so flexible and kind and accommodating the whole entire almost 4 years we were working together through this. It was worth the wait, because Scott's photographs were AMAZING. Scott was absolutely AMAZING! Scott was a wonder to work with. From the first email, he was kind, personable, and easy to communicate with. He always responded quickly and was very patient with all of our questions. Fast forward to the wedding day, and Scott and his assistant Javier were incredible! They both had a good eye for the formal shots and the candids. and they were incredible at bringing out everybody's best smile by telling little jokes while everybody was posing. Justian and I hired Scott Metzger to be our wedding photographer, and we were never happier with our decision. When researching different photographers, Scott immediately stood out. We completely fell in love with his style of art from the very beginning. Scott proved very easy to work with, including his flexibility, as we had to re-schedule the wedding due to the pandemic. Scott is amazing- He is easy-going and flexible! He was fun to work with and his albums and photos truly highlight his artistic abilities. Scott was great to work with. On the day of the event - he gave great direction while still being open to anything I wanted to have photographed. What I was most impressed with was that he was able to get a group shot of 160 people without it being painful. I also loved that he stayed the entire reception without needing to to keep getting great candid photos of the dance floor. After the event, he was timely with getting over initial photos and the wedding album. I couldn't be happier with how the photos came out.

We did a lot of research on photographers, but knew IMMEDIATELY we wanted Scott after seeing his work and speaking with him. Such a nice guy and his photography is phenomenal! Multiple people have reached out to us telling us our photography was the most beautiful they've seen from any wedding. His assistant was great and he was a lot of fun to work with! Other than marrying my husband, choosing Scott as my photographer was the best decision I made! His creativity and uniqueness is second to none.
