These earrings are a work of art. I get compliments on them everywhere I go!
I was nervous ordering jewelry online, but this diamond stud set exceeded all my expectations. Stunning!
I’ve never seen diamonds sparkle like this before. These studs are truly a girl’s best friend!
I received these Diamond Stud earrings from my husband and absolutely love them. I am hoping he gets me the necklace next.
My fiance bought my engagement ring from here and I absolutely love it! The sparkle, the fit, the fast service, everything! Will absolutely be getting my wedding ring from here too!
Absolutely love my diamond studs!! They sparkle so brilliantly and make me feel so elegant everytime I wear them!!
I love my diamond studs, they are so beautiful and sparkling! I receive lots of compliments when I wear them!
I got my wife these beautiful Diamond ear rings for her birthday and she was so shocked and surprised by how nice they are. They helped me great deal finding the right size for my budget. She is very happy with them and wears them all the time.
We will continue to go to MiaDonna for jewelry.
I was trying to plan the perfect ring for my now fiance. The expert designer showed me several rings all that were perfect until I found the one I knew she would love.
The craftsmanship on this ring is impecable, it looks like a family heirloom and will definitely become one.
Received a pair of earrings as gift, they're absolutely stunning and i feel so beautiful when I wear them, my ring is coming from here and I cannot wait to receive it! Now I'm shopping for my next "need"!! Everything is so amazing and
at such great prices its hard to choose! New loyal customer here!
TL;DR: We've had multiple purchases with MiaDonna between us and our family, and everyone is in love with the product and service.
I designed a custom gemstone and diamond ring for my birthday with MiaDonna and the process was a breeze! They took my inspiration and sketches and came back with the perfect ring—first in the form of digital renderings, then upon approval the ring itself! It's stunning and receives loads of compliments.
Since that process went so smoothly, we purchased a diamond band in honor of our anniversary, and that was also an easy process with a beautiful result. I had both rings checked out by an acquaintance who is a jeweler and they were impressed with the craftsmanship and quality. Couldn't be happier with our experience with MiaDonna. As a result, we've had family (my mom, stepmom, and aunt) order from them, too, and everyone's experience has been excellent.
Here is your mid 2024 review and reminder. I wish I could rate them 0/5 Stars or even less, I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism as realised by other negative reviews. Do not trust Miadonna. They exist to serve you with arrogance and I wish I was not exaggerating as I have dealt with probably almost all individuals in company including the CEO (probably lawyer behind their words) who are happy to lie through their teeth time again. Instead of understanding their clients they will scam you any way possible instead of educating you and possibly prepare to face discrimination as it is their way or no way at all. They don't actually care about whoever they are donating to charity, it is all in the face of presenting like they are doing good for the world when they are clearly causing more trouble for people in their most special moment. I would rather buy a blood diamond then deal with these people because I KNOW it would have gone through less chaos.
I never review but feel compelled to spread the word, even if it saves one person from headache. DO NOT BUY HERE. Be warned!!! They claim to be foundation-based and respectful but I have only been met with disrespect and miscommunication that’s resulted in huge loss. Loose settings, horrible customer service and zero transparency. Don’t fall for the lower prices! You get what you pay for!
I upgraded my black moissonites to diamonds and was promised I could use the original amount toward the diamonds. After paying the full amount and being told I could get refunded, I was met with a she-said she-said and the associate (who is apparently a manager) lied about saying she told me I could get a refund. I am absolutely sick over losing my money and even more sick over the fact she lied.
Also, when I went to pick up my ring, I said my name, she handed me the bag and said “have a good day”! I stood there and asked if she needed payment today. I literally could have just said a name and walked out. Your jewelry is not safe here.
Horrible operation. Take your money elsewhere and support other local companies.
***AMAZING RING, AMAZING SERVICE***
I bought a beautiful diamond ring from MiaDonna for my girlfriend and I am extremely satisfied with my experience. The diamond is absolutely stunning, and my girlfriend loves it! What sets MiaDonna apart, however, is their exceptional customer service. They were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, from choosing the perfect ring to ensuring timely delivery. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and made the entire experience stress-free. I appreciate their commitment to ethical and sustainable practices in the production of their diamonds, which made the purchase even more meaningful. Overall, I highly recommend MiaDonna Diamonds to anyone looking for a beautiful, high-quality piece of jewelry, backed by excellent customer service. Thank you for making this experience memorable!
I recently purchased a lab-grown diamond ring from MiaDonn for my fiancée, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The ethical sourcing of the diamonds was a huge selling point for me, and I was impressed with the selection and quality of the stones. The customer service was also exceptional - the team at MiaDonna was friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The ring itself is absolutely stunning, and my fiancée has received countless compliments on it. I highly recommend MiaDonna Diamonds to anyone looking for a beautiful and ethical diamond, and I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future. Thank you, MiaDonna, for an amazing experience!
Ugh. I really wanted to like this company…but…
They completely ruined my husband and I’s ring buying experience. This is a long review, but please read, I am not a ranting customer, all of this truly happened. They sent my husband the ring he ordered with a band that was 25% percent smaller than what was advertised online- 25%. At first, they tried to claim that it was a “slight variation” due to the handcrafted nature of the ring. I understand a little variation because it is hand-crafted, but 25%?! We took the ring to a jeweler who measured it, and I suggest if you have bought or do buy jewelry from MiaDonna HAVE IT CHECKED OUT if you have any doubts. We contacted the company and they said I could keep the ring for now and send it back after the wedding. Problem is, I was so worried about messing up the ring I didn’t wear it. Side note that our engagement and wedding were very quick, because my mom was terminally ill. Our engagement lasted 2 weeks and I did not get to wear my ring. We had our wedding and we promptly returned the ring, well wanted to, but didn’t want to pay the return shipping they were asking us to pay. (We were sending back a second ring to be resized in the same box, to be eco-friendly). After a lot of back-and-forth MiaDonna finally said they would pay to have the order THEY messed up on shipped back for them to fix. It took them about a month to complete my correct ring and resize my husband’s and when it was complete, they sent me an invoice. For return shipping. Are you kidding me? We bought a total of 3 rings from this company, spending thousands of dollars, and they were asking us to pay to have my correct ring I ordered, plus one ring in the same box, sent back to us?! They claimed that they cannot afford to pay the shipping on all “repairs” (not mistakes!) because they give 10% of their profits to charity. What do they do with the other 90% of their profits? We are not rich; we are city workers from Chicago. It would have cost us over $50 to ship the ring back. So after more back-and-forth, they agreed to ship us our rings. My “corrected” ring arrived, and again, it was noticeably smaller then advertised and what the home try-on ring looked like. I contacted MiaDonna again, and they claimed that they measured it 3 times and my wedding ring it was stacked with must have been “too big” (it was not, we had it measured), but we would be allowed to return it. Again, we took it to a local jeweler and it measured more than 10% smaller. I sent the photos proving this and only then did they send me a return shipping label. They claimed that they measured it 3 times, but that “calipers differ”. So, if your workshop’s calipers are more than 10% off, what does that mean for everyone else’s jewelry? Now, 2 months after my wedding, I have gotten a refund and will have to start the ring-buying process somewhere else. Because of this whole fiasco, my mom passed away before ever getting to see my actual engagement ring, I feel like that is the worst part of all of this. Do yourself a favor, lots of other places sell lab diamonds and recycled metals, go there. These people claim to care so much about the people that their non-profits help, but what about the hard-working people that buy their jewelry?
Love my engagement ring!
There are few choices I regret more that the stress endured while attempting to work with this company. It set back my wedding planning by months and I even had to contact my credit card company to get a full refund.
I had to ask 7 times for an ETA on resizing a ring over the course of 3 weeks before I got an answer. Then when they couldn't deliver in the required time I had to ask more than 3 times for a refund after which they insisted on charging a $30 shipping fee. Extremely shady and in my estimation very poor integrity. I'm sure this review will get a long winded, gas lighting, blame-shifting response.
My husband bought a MiaDonna diamond for my engagement ring. We've been married for 9 years and over the years it has gotten cloudy, the edges have chipped, and somehow the entire stone cracked! I recently brought this to a jeweler and was told that even lab created diamonds should never crack like that (since they still have the same properties of a diamond). So I'm not sure what this stone actually is but I would recommend getting a lab created diamond from a reputable jeweler.
I was really excited when my wife and I were getting engaged, though, honestly, the thought of getting an engagement ring was intimidating. I am a typical guy in the sense that I know absolutely nothing about jewelry. I was initially attracted to MiaDonna because it was very important to me to buy an ethical diamond. Not only are their diamonds ethical, but the designs of their rings were beautiful.
I also wanted to keep the engagement a surprise, while still getting a ring that my wife would love. I was unable to ask her specifically what type of ring she would like without letting her know that I was going to propose. So, MiaDonna has a really helpful service where they can actually send you a sample of their rings. I was able to get a sample of the ring that I thought she would like and I used this when I proposed to her. It turned out that she loved the ring, so the next day I ordered the real thing and it came in the mail about 10 days later.
The staff at MiaDonna was so helpful in leading me to get a beautiful ring that my wife loves. They were able to give me suggestions that stayed within my budget and helped me with the specifications that I needed to look for. I ended up getting a Bellissima ring in platinum with a .66 K emerald cut diamond. We have been married now for 3 months and my wife never takes it off!
Avoid this vendor.
We ordered a wedding from Miadonna - they had a wonderful story and the images of the products were wonderful. The phone and email service was also excellent. The sales person that we spoke with also recomended having the ring engraved for a small fee.
Once the ring arrived it was laughable, it was more appropriate for a child than an adult - and it did not match with the description. Luckily we had the 30 day return, so our disappointment was tempered by knowing we were not stuck with it. Or were we?
We got in touch with Miadonna and asked to return it. We were then informed that as we had it engraved we could not return it. The Miadonna website prominently displays 30 day worry free return copy. Buried waaaay down in the fine print at the bottom of the page is a memo, buried in an accordian pulldown, stating that engraved sales are final. Curious when you couple that with the salesperson pushing engraving during the sale without informing us that it would negate the retun protection.
So at this juncture we have a ridiculous doll sized ring that we overpayed from a vendor that crafted wonderful ad copy to entice and screw over the unwitting. A quick search of web reviews informs us that we are one among many - but Miadonna has obviously had some "reputation managment" work done as the dozens of negative reviews were pushed down in the search ranks by some paid for positives (a rep management strategy).
Don't let this fool you as it has us.
My fiance ordered a custom made ring from MiaDonna which I didn't like. As per the store policy you cannot return a custom made ring, the store was flexible to allow us to exchange it with other jewllery pieces in the store, which I appreciate and we ended up getting a few beautiful pieces. I still wish they were more flexible with return/exchange policies, however I understand as a small business they need to protect themselves.
We bought our wedding bands and my husband bought my engagement ring from MiaDonna. My engagement stone was loose and I sent it in for repairs. It was very easy. The customer service was great and I will definitely purchase from them again in the future. Also, the try the ring on at home is great! I was able to identify which wedding bands looked the best with my ring.
I purchased an engagement ring through MiaDonna in October 2018. Not only was the ring a HUGE success with the fiancé and her friends but the process of searching for the ring on their website, receiving their at-home trial kit and the final purchase we're all super easy. They also have a payment plan service that i used to pay off a portion of the ring over 3 months which made getting that perfect ring much more affordable. Not only are these rings conflict-free and beautiful but I’d recommend this process over visiting a random jeweler...you will not regret your decision if you buy from MiaDonna. Enjoy!
I bought an engagement ring for my fiancee on MiaDonna's website. The ring was beautiful, and the wealth of information available on their site led me to what I thought was a reasonably-priced ethical option, and taught me much of what I wanted to know about choosing jewelry. On top of that, their mission and cause was moving and ethics was a major factor in the decision.
Now for the downside: Their patented Diamond Hybrid simulant is extremely fragile and a poor excuse for a stone. We ended up needing to resize my fiancee's ring twice, and when it was returned to us the stone was loose. I brought it to a local jeweler, who confirmed with a magnifier that not only was it loose, but was loose because the girdle of the stone had been chipped - a part of the stone only exposed during professional repair. Since I had only allowed MiaDonna to handle it per their warranty, the fault lies with them. My fiancee had not even had a chance to wear the ring, a month and a half after the proposal!
When I notified MiaDonna of this development, and that I wished to have a refund for the stone, I was told I could only have a replacement and would have to ship it back to them again (for evaluation and re-setting). I was also informed that technically speaking, the chips were not covered by their warranty because they were only visible under magnification - even though their self-inflicted damage was the reason for it being loose!
We ended up replacing my fiancee's stone with another from the local jeweler, rather than trust a clearly subpar simulant and a company that hides behind the fine print of their warranty. Perhaps had I sprung for a pure lab-grown diamond, its durability would have prevented any damage to begin with. But spending within my budget should not mean that I have to suffer through endless returns and repairs, at cost to me. Especially when their warrantied repairs were the reason for the damage.
In summary, it's a real shame that a company started for such ethical reasons cannot service its customers well. I wanted to like MiaDonna, but the Diamond Hybrid is easy to chip and their repairs are time-consuming and risky. MiaDonna could have avoided this review simply by refunding the cost of the stone as I requested.
I love MiaDonna's jewelry, customer service, and mission! My fiancee and I bought my engagement ring and wedding band this last year and worked with Linley both times. We came into the store and had an idea of what we wanted for the engagement ring (turned out to be custom design!), and Linley helped guide us through the process and worked with us to get the unique sapphire and design we were after. I definitely recommend MiaDonna to everyone, and it's nice to know that my purchase is ethical and eco-friendly!
My wife and I used Mia Donna for our wedding rings and they did a wonderful job. The diamond is beautiful and the fact it's conflict-free makes us very, very happy. Thank you Mia Donna.
I am so, so pleased with my engagement ring! My fiance proposed with a custom ring set with a lab grown diamond and it is absolutely perfect. He submitted a description of the ring and sketch with general specifications; the process was quick and the customer service was great. Also, despite many misconceptions I've read online, the stone is 100% real diamond... not fake :) I love what this company stands for and highly recommend them!
We bought the engagement ring in the Portland store and were pleased for the first year. The stone stayed in fine shape, but my prongs broke and when I brought it in to be repaired at a local jeweler, the gold cracked. I was told the ring was mostly sauter so it had to be replaced. So far I've been pleased with the diamond but I wish the company had a better warranty.
I bought diamond hybrid earrings and a diamond band for my girlfriend about a year and a half ago. The quality was great and she wears them all the time. I loved the price and haven't had any issues with the hybrids getting scratched or looking dingy. The whole process was easy and the conflict free aspect is a huge plus. I will for sure be purchasing from Miadonna again.
Absolutely love my ring from MiaDonna. My fiancé wanted a conflict-free diamond, so after much research I came across MiaDonna. While there appeared to be a few negative reviews on the Diamond Hybrid®, the company's response was always timely and made me feel confident. I ordered a lab-grown diamond and absolutely love it. Not only does it look amazing, but know it is conflict-free is a huge relief.
The MiaDonna team was exception, going above and beyond to assist me. I'll definitely be shopping from this company again in the future...when I can afford it!
Biggest waste of money I’ve ever made. This so-called hybrid diamond is no more than CZ with a coating that makes no difference to the appearance of the stone, it still looks like CZ. I spent several thousand on a custom setting, band, and stone, only to end up with a crackerjack ring with hollow sides and a stone that a jeweler told my fiancée was worth about $20. When I tried to return the stone, they tried to upsell me to something more expensive instead of refunding my money. After being ripped off the first time, I had no patience for wasting thousands more on their junk. If you want a diamond alternative that doesn’t look like costume jewelry, buy a moissanite stone. Spend your money at a respectable store that has better reviews than this QVC equivalent.
DO NOT BUY. I am not sure how many times I can repeat this. My now husband had purchased my engagement ring from Mia Donna just over a year ago. I loved my ring and was so excited that it was conflict free. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that my ring looked a little foggy and tried to clean it off. I realized that it was completely scratched all around the centre of the stone and on the sides. I have always been very careful with my jewellery and as I work in an office and take my rings off to cook, clean and to do any yard work, I did not know how this had happened. I reassured myself that this was a manufacturers defect that the company that stated that it was nearly as strong as a diamond (85% diamond bonds and 9.1 out of 10 hardness) would surely replace my still very new and babied ring. The customer service started out alright. My husband sent in a request explaining the issue and offering to send the pictures we had taken of the scratches. They eventually ended up asking him to send the ring in and saying that he would possibly have to pay for a new stone. This was when I got a little confused and asked them if they knew the likelihood of having to pay for a new stone as it is no so much the cost that would bother me but that fact that if this is a non warranty issue, clearly it can happen again in another year. I was eventually told that I would almost assuredly have to pay for a replacement stone and replacement shipping there and back. When explaining to them that I work in an office and that I take my rings off for anything even close to dangerous for them. I do not cook while wearing my rings, do any type of cleaning or yard work. They are off when I put on my makeup in the morning and when I shower before bed. My three other much cheaper mined diamond rings that go back years (one is over 60 years old, one is 45 years old and the other is 18 years old) and they are all completely fine and have been not only worn daily by me but also by relatives in the past as they have been passed down to me. I was told by customer service after explaining this that jewellery is meant to be looked at to enjoyed and that I must be hard on my jewellery. I was told in a very condescending manner that "sometimes we don't realize how hard we are on our jewellery" Clearly I was not listened to at all. My husband is now heartbroken, saying the ring he bought me is clearly garbage. We will not replace this gem with miadonna only to have to do the same every year and give money to a company that clearly scammed us. We will instead have to save up and purchase a ring at a better store which hopefully will not rip us off. If it was not for the sentimental value of this ring being the one my husband proposed with and that we got married with, I would throw this ring out. I am absolutely heartbroken and feel so taken advantage of. Please don't make the same mistake we did. If we could get back the ridiculous amount of money we paid for a ring that seems to be the same quality as one I could have gotten out of a quarter machine it would be great but as that doesn't look like it is going to happen I will just warn as many as I can.
My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Miadonna and it is gorgeous however there is no matching wedding band for it. This would be fine but the basket is very low and none of their bands fit under it. We were told we would have to have a custom band made which was going to cost nearly what my engagement ring did with the cad fee.
We decided to look at other jewelers and eventually found one that works. Unfortunately now I cannot have them soldered together or it will void the warranty on my engagement ring.
I love my ring but had I known it would be this difficult to add a wedding band I would have chosen a different ring/jeweler.
