We got married at 48 Wall Street. The wedding was absolutely stunning, and the venue is incredible. Guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had. The MME team put a lot of hard work into throwing us an amazing wedding. That being said, there were some issues we had with MME’s planning process that we feel couples should know before making the choice to move forward. -We booked the venue over a year before our date, and we didn’t do the bulk of our planning until 1-2 months before wedding day. Before then, we would send emails, try to schedule calls, and often wouldn’t hear back for days or weeks. This was very stressful for us, as it was hard to get planning or information before the final stretch. For example, we were still discussing the menu a couple before the date, and we me met with our dj a few days before. Everything came together very last minute. -We got charged a lot of last minute fees that were not communicated to us at the beginning. Some of these fees felt arbitrary and when we pushed, there wasn’t a lot of information on what exactly we were getting for that price. And, because most of the planning was done last minute, we didn’t have a lot of time or negotiating power to fight back on them. -The venue comes with a lot of vendors you have to use, with expensive buyout fees. You’re never directly communicating with those vendors, and it felt like a lot of information was getting lost in translation. For example, the kind of food we wanted, or the price of certain add-ons. We also felt that the in-house vendors were overpriced for what they were actually offering. If you are going to use MME, I would suggest 3 things: 1. get a planner!!! Our planner (Shoutout to Events By Melanie) really helped us navigate all this stress, especially the last minute planning. 2. Make sure your contact is tight from the very beginning. Be very clear on what you want and don’t want, and get it in writing. 3. Have a flexible budget (or at least tell them a budget that is lower than what you can actually spend). We ended up over our budget because of fees, and having flexibility helped.

WARNING! Avoid MME Ink at all costs. They are hands down the worst event service provider with absolutely no morality. We scheduled our wedding with them to be hosted at Landmark on the Park, a church which we later learned they have been fraudulently booking events with. They forced us into signing a contract “as quickly as possible” because the dates were booking fast, when it reality they were losing their business contract with the venue – also due to bad business practices. We then had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and MME Ink lied and said that our venue (Landmark on the Park) was going to be under construction and we needed to find a new venue. Simply put – they lied and in reality they no longer could use Landmark on the Park because of their bad business practices. We then started searching for a new venue and MME ink couldn’t have made the process any worst. In fact they made finding a new venue 10x more difficult. We did all of the research on our own and when we finally found a venue (Bank of New York), which MME Ink said was available, it magically then wasn’t available. So we started the search again and found another venue (Burden Kahn Mansion). But with no surprise at all - MME Ink lied yet again and said they could work with this venue but in fact they could not. They call themselves an “all service agency” – but they did nothing for us except take our $18,000 deposit and make these past 2 years dreadful. After months and months of going through this awful process we decided to cancel our wedding. MME Ink confirmed to us the day before Christmas that they would refund us our deposit – but AGAIN – that was a lie. They came back to us in January and said they changed their mind and would no longer be giving back the deposit. To anyone considering booking an event with MME Ink – AVOID IT. I hope no one has to go through what we went through. Please reconsider using this event company. PS: check glassdoor and see how awful they even treat their employees. In just one year we dealt with four different wedding coordinators, because they all leave.

Please do not hire these people. They are extremely over priced. They over promise. And are terrible communicators. Terible.

Words cannot express how happy we are with how our wedding turned out. MME Ink produced the most elegant and extravagant affair for us! It was everything we envisioned and more! The details were perfection! Our wedding was at the Museum of American Finance on Wall Street. MME took care of the pretty much everything from furniture, flowers decor, catering, DJ, lighting and even the most amazing surprise flash mob performance. It was spectacular. Our guests cannot stop talking about our wedding coining the best wedding they have ever been too! Thank you so much MME Ink for creating an event of a lifetime. We will cherish the memories forever.
