I have had the honor and privilege to have Ashley bless my face with her astonishing makeup talent for four big events in my lifetime so far and she had never disappointed me: graduate school graduation in 2017, Engagement Photo Shoot in 2020, Bridal Shower in January 2023 and now my Wedding Day on March 26, 2023. This review is long overdue! Ashley is THE BEST MUA in Houston! Her work speaks for itself. She was so easy to work with, calmed me down, and had an amazing spirit. She made myself and my bridal party look stunning. She was able to create a look that worked for my traditional Nigerian wedding and the American ceremony. I had the joy of working with Ashley for my wedding in December! She did my makeup, as well as everyone in my bridal party, including my mom. She was so professional and fun to work with! If you are looking for an ARTIST, look no further. Working with Ashley was an absolute joy from my trial all the way to the big day. She is timely, she is present, and she is kind. All of my bridesmaids were fond of her and her assistant. My face was flawless and lasted all night long. During my trial, she perfectly matched my skin color and were open to any critiques that I might have had. Luckily for me, I had none, but I was comfortable letting her know if I had any changes and she made me feel welcome. Even when I did make a slight eyebrow change on the day of my wedding, she performed with grace and excellence. If I had to choose all over again, I would choose Moka Beaute again and again.

Everything about Ashley and her assistant was amazing! My makeup lasted 12 hours and I was on the dance floor the whole reception and my make-up didn't move. She and her assistant serviced me (bride), mother of the bride, and six bridesmaid and got everyone done in timely manner. My bridal party loved their make-up and how nice Ashley and her assistant were.

I would hire Moka Beaute Studio a hundred times over. I hired Ashley and her team for my wedding makeup along with my 8 bridesmaids, mother, and mother in law. Not only did my makeup hold the entire 12+ hour day, but I was still looking flawless down to the last moments of the night. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful, it felt like I was getting my makeup done by a friend I had known for years. Also, she gave me and my girls thoughtful touch up bags for the day which was the icing on the cake for me. Hiring Ashley was the best decision I could have made that day!

Ashley and her team were AMAZING! I had a very blended wedding party and it was important for me to hire a team who could successfully do the makeup on various skin colors, and I couldn't have hired better. It was also very important for me to hire someone who could do a range of "beats". Some people (like myself) prefer a very natural face, while others in my bridal party liked a glam. They were able to beautifully execute both. Ashley was unbelievably kind, quick to respond, and professional. More than anything the day of my wedding her and her partner brought the best vibes! It's one thing to make everyone look good, but they were great to be around and it was like two old friends came by to help!

I had the privilege of working with Ashley for my traditional Nigerian wedding and hired her for my bridesmaids on my second American wedding ceremony. She was amazing! I reached out to Ashley barely a month to my wedding day and she came through big time.From the first day we talked, Ashley was so friendly and communicated promptly in a very professional manner. Of all my wedding vendors Ashley's professionalism was top notch. She was incredibly helpful when trying to pin down my day of look and far surpassed all expectations I had! She had myself and my bridesmaids feeling and looking beautiful! I booked Ashley about a year before my wedding through the help of my sister, who first showed me Ashley's page on instagram. Ashley is not only an amazing makeup artist but she is also very professional and very pleasant. I have no complaints, infact, I am thankful for her because she was one less thing I had to worry about, which made my life easier. Every single makeup appointment was fantastic. I never felt caked up or congested. I don't know what products she uses but she is probably the only one who has managed not to irritate my skin after a full face professional makeup. I got the bridal package and on the day of my wedding, Ashley and her partner were the first to be at the venue where we were getting ready. She left no stones unturned and at no time did I feel like I was not being heard. I say all of this to say, you want the least possible stress on your day and you want to look AMAZING the entire day so just go ahead and work with Ashley. You will not be disappointed.

I am so pleased that I booked Ashley for my wedding on 2/14/20. Initially, I felt her rate was outside of my budget and considered going with a less expensive option but since her price was middle of the road I decided to go with her. Boy am I so glad that I did!!!! You get what you pay for. Ashley, was professional and timely. She scheduled my trial appointment and took her time to connect with me and to see what kind of look I wanted to go for. She was extremely personable and easy to work with. The morning of my wedding she was on time, set up and ready for the first appointment. She did my make up, my mom. the groom's mom and 3 bridesmaids and she stayed on schedule the entire time even with me bringing my mom about 10 minutes late who was the first appointment. I highly recommend Ashley! My makeup looked gorgeous as did everyone's and it stayed on ALL night. I didn't even have to touch it up (including lipstick) all evening and I have combination skin. When we went to the after party my makeup still looked great in photos! Yay! I would book her again in the future if I ever needed my makeup done.

Ashely was very professional and VERY patient. I went to her for a consultation first, and I loved how my makeup turned out. I then booked her for my bridal portraits and again for my wedding. The pictures came out very classy and timeless, which is what I wanted. Another thing to note is that she was always very punctual and efficient. That may not seem like much but when you're getting married there are so many moving parts the less you have to think about the better. This is the second time booking Ashley for a wedding event. The first was for my mother in law 3 years ago, who raved about Ashley after her appointment and came out looking stunning. This summer we booked Ashley for my sister's wedding and entire wedding party (5 total). During our initial consultation, there was a small mishap but she assured me that was the purpose of the consultation to ensure it wouldn't happen on my wedding day. My mom and I were speechless once she finished my makeup for the initial consultation. I couldn't believe how she made me look flawless with the purple eye shadow and nude lip. I liked that Ashley provided a timeline of events for the wedding day, ability to pay invoices online, friendly email reminders, and skin regimen routine leading up to my BIG Day. Ashley even suggested products for me to buy to assist with my new skin regimen routine. On the day of the wedding, Ashley was on-time at the venue and ready to start on my bridal party. Even though we were late getting started, she was still able to complete my bridal party within the allotted timeframe. Find Ashley via Instagram and blown away by her work. Inquired about my Spring beach wedding and she responded within 24 hours. When I say this young lady communication is on point, I mean it. I wish other vendors would take note of it like myself (I own a hair salon and suck at responding, I know it’s a shame). Let me start off by saying I shouldnt have been cheap looking for an artist. My orginal makeup artist cancelled on me two weeks before my wedding. I hadnt signed any contract and didnt put any money down, so scrambling I found Ashley. I explained to her what had happened, and she was able to accomodate me and hired another artist to assit with my wedding party. I greatly apperciate her and she was worth every penny plus some.

I want to thank Ashley for doing such an amazing on wife. My wife Sharrell is naturally beautiful but was skeptical of wearing makeup. She was referred to Ashley by a family friend and we are thankful to have her apart of the wedding. Sharrell didnt have any complaints with her makeup.

Ashley is the bomb. She was very patient with me, I don't like makeup but I knew I needed some makeup for my wedding pictures. She took her time and was very thorough in explaining her process from booking to the application. She was on time and tended to my party. I also hired her to touch ups for my outside wedding.
