Monica Chimes Floral was an amazing choice for our florist. From the initial consultation to execution, everything was so easy and everything I wanted. Melissa was wonderful to work with and helped me work through my ideas to also match my price range and accommodate my own allergies and things which was something I was worried about. I mainly wanted white flowers with greenery and candles and the team made everything come out exactly how I imagined, being simple but beautiful and on theme for my winter January wedding. I can’t recommend them enough! The day of, the staff dropped off the boutonnières and bouquets to our hotel for getting ready pictures which was so nice and convenient and by the time we got to the venue to look at the spaces, it was like there were flower fairies that came in silently and set everything up perfectly! I am still so happy with everything and hope others continue to book them to be able to have a beautiful, stress-free experience.

The bouquets for our wedding were out of this world. They made my perfect bouquet and I was in love with how beautiful it was. Even the bridesmaids bouquets were stunning. All my girls took them home because they loved them so much. Such a great experience and they delivered them so perfectly!!

We learned of Monica Chimes Floral from our venue, and they were amazing to work with! We worked with Stacy for our wedding, and we highly recommend her. She was so flexible with us when we changed our proposal several times, and everything came out beautiful. She captured our vision perfectly, and everything photographed beautifully. We highly recommend the Monica Chimes team!

We worked with Monica Chimes for our Oct '24 wedding. I really wish I could give 5 stars because they were absolutely amazing leading up to our wedding. They were responsive, accommodating, & went above & beyond during the planning process. However, on the actual day, a few key mistakes were made that impacted our experience. Ultimately, the root cause of the day of mishaps stemmed from lack of communication & coordination between our planner & MC. We will place the majority of the blame on our planner, however some accountability does fall on MC. Our planner communicated the timelines via a platform called “Timeline Genius” & while the MC team answered our planner’s other questions, they ultimately didn’t confirm the timeline. This lack of confirmation & lack of follow-up is an oversight by our planner. But essentially, the team didn’t arrive until 1 hour after the time we thought they were arriving. By the time the flowers arrived, delays was already well underway. The most important floral arrangement was my bouquet with my late father’s tie wrapped around it so he could "walk" me down the aisle, & unfortunately the tie was left behind. The team worked to remediate this quickly & retrieved the tie from the shop & delivered it to the wedding about 1 hr before our ceremony, which I truly appreciate. Additionally, the tie was wrapped differently than expected. We learned after the wedding that this was due to the size/shape of the actual bouquet. No issues here overall, but a head’s up would have been nice. Our altar arrangements also looked different than expected. We learned this was due to flower availability & the team had to take creative license for a replacement. The team is skilled &I understand the need for creative license, but it was surprising to see vibrant orange at the altar when our aesthetic was muted. Communication of this before the event would have been appreciated. Another source of miscommunication was repurposing the bridesmaids bouquets to the sweetheart table. This was something discussed with MC early on, but we later learned they expected our planner to do this. We were able to make the change ourselves but again, it’s clear more communication was needed between MC & our planner. Now onto the things we loved about working with MC: They are extremely collaborative about working with you on a color palette as well as which types of flowers fit in your budget. They never hesitated to hop on a phone call if you had any changes or questions. Their contract was the easiest vendor contract to read out of all of the vendors we worked with. It listed the types of florals, arrangements, locations of arrangements, colors, etc. Essentially, their contract embedded the setup instructions for the day of. This made it so easy for us to read, understand, & double check. I truly cannot emphasize enough how fantastic their contract system is. We loved it! They offer a table mockup at their location in West Harrison. This is a huge benefit & allows you to really see what the centerpieces will look like, & they were collaborative in exploring alterations. They know the NYBG extremely well. We sourced all of our candles through them & they immediately knew how many windowsills the venue had. Ultimately, I would work with MC again. I would be sure to have a final meeting with them the week of/a few days before the wedding to make sure nothing is missed & not rely on a planner to have those conversations.

Wow Monica and her team did an incredible job providing florals for my wedding. I wanted my wedding to feel like a whimsical garden highlighting cheerful summery colors. My bouquet was to die for and I loved the charming bud vases on the tables. It was definitely not typical blush and white but they really nailed my vision! They were easy to work with and checked in a month before to make sure nothing had changed. Most importantly they worked with us to stay inside of our budget which was so appreciated. I have to say that when you go for the more colorful vision, you never know exactly how it’s going to turn out but my mind was truly blown when I saw my flowers. It was everything I wanted and more. Huge thank you to Stacy, Melissa and Monica’s team. Don’t hesitate to book them!

Do yourself a favor and book Monica Chimes Floral NOW. I am STILL dreaming about my wedding flowers!!! I worked with Stacey and from our very first phone call, we hit it off. The team at Monica Chimes is different than other vendors because they truly share in your excitement for your wedding vision! I wanted my wedding flowers to be tropical glam and they completely brought my vision to life. Every time I met with them, I was met with so much kindness, care and joy! And the end result... They did an incredible job at bringing our wedding floral dreams come to life. During the planning stages, Monica brought her wealth of knowledge to the table, beautifully describing flowers and how their individual styles would come together to create stunning bouquets, arranged accents, and outstanding center pieces. Monica was aware of our floral budget and went above and beyond to ensure we received extraordinary florals while sticking to a certain price point. Her team delivered flowers to separate locations to accommodate our needs. Her expert staff worked with us to arrange florals and accents to go along with signs we provided, taking special care of our precious belongings. The florals exceeded our expectations. Monica Chimes was an incredible florist to work with. This was one of the options for our venue at the NYBG and we are so happy we went with them. They were so flexible, especially given my initial vision was $10k over where I wanted to be and yet they were still able to meet me exactly where I was and make it everything I could have dreamed of. They helped set up bistro lights outside as well as cocktail table candles and flowers, table pieces, a real Christmas tree that we had guests decorate with ornaments as they got their place cards, a garland wrapping around the main post through the room, flowers for the cake, candles on the windowsills, a boutonnière for my husband and the perfect dark red winter bouquet for me. They were friendly and kind and prompt, I highly recommend them.

Monica and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Monica was very flexible and did an excellent job personalizing the flowers to the theme of my wedding. Her and her team even went so far as to create wood pedestals for our ceremony, in order to match the theme I had in mind for our rustic/historic setting. They were always quick to respond and were excellent communicators. The bouquets and all of the flower decor were all absolutely beautiful, and beyond what I had even hoped for. Overall, I highly recommend this vendor for all of your floral needs!

I do not even have words to describe how wonderful it was to work with Monica Chimes! The came recommended by my venue, and boy am I glad they did. The florals and décor they put together for my wedding were stunning, exactly what I wanted, and better than I could have ever envisioned. From my initial phone call, to our wedding yesterday, it was all perfection. Wonderful staff, gorgeous work, and just an all around wonderful experience.

We worked with Monica for our 11/6/21 wedding. She was very easy to with throughout the entire process. She was flexible with us the entire time when we had to make various changes throughout the process in order to fulfill our wedding vision. We were even able to make a few last minute changes. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and lasted for several weeks after the wedding. We would definitely recommend Monica and would be happy to work with her again!

Monica and her team were very creative and easy to work with at my consultation for a quote. She was able to help me achieve my vision and have beautiful florals and centerpieces for my wedding day. I had a budget in mind and we were able to make it work. I had a feeling coloring and size would vary on florals so I kept an open mind. The end result was gorgeous and everything I could hope for! Her suggestions for what to do were great. My husband and the guests loved it. I highly recommend.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - NIGHTMARE! We had an absolutely horrible experience using Monica Chimes as our (almost) wedding florist. Our original wedding was planned to be at Glen Island, who makes you choose a florist from a list of four vendors. You're not allowed to choose your own florist. Of the list of florists Monica was the only one not astronomically priced, so we went with her. (My advice to future brides would be to negotiate with your venue to allow you to choose your own florist!) We had one initial phone conversation with Monica when we secured our contract with her where we went over a draft very basic vision of what we were planning. She had seemed nice enough at the time. Fast forward several months, we had to cancel our wedding at Glen Island due to NYS Covid restrictions. We had told Monica our change of venue. We also updated her on a new vision for centerpieces to fit a more intimate small-scale wedding. I had noticed in the contract that contract was "final" 30 days prior to the event. Monica nor her assistant had ever reached out to me. I had to reach out to her prior to the 30 days to schedule a meeting to see some mock centerpieces. She wouldn't allow me an in-person meeting due to Covid 60 days out, so her assistant Melissa insisted I wait until 32 days out to have a facetime (in which it would really be too late to find a new vendor if you were unhappy). When it was time for our facetime the flowers that Monica presented to me were TRULY PITTIFUL. There were barely any florals, they didn't match my updated vision I had sent her, and she stated that the table setting was exactly what Glen Island would be having ....but that wasn't my venue anymore. We ended up deciding to not go with Monica as we felt that she wouldn't be able to execute our vision properly. When we let her know she was rude and unprofessional towards us. I'm so appalled that a small business owner, let alone someone you hire to make sure your wedding day is your dream day, would be such a horrible human. I would not recommend Monica to any future brides and I'm appalled at the excuse of a vendor she states to be.

I cannot say enough positive things. Monica was a dream and made my wedding day beyond special and beautiful. From my first phone call with her, she just immediately understood the vibe I was going for. Before I could mention a certain flower etc, she would mention it and she just got me. I told her my budget and she truly honored it. I went into her shop about a month before the wedding. I met Monica and Melissa, and they were both such a joy to work with. Any last minute requests or questions I had, they were there to put my mind at ease. And truly, they delivered. All of my expectations were exceeded. When my bouquet arrived, I was stunned at how absolutely perfect and beautiful it was. Not to mention it smelt, AMAZING. The men's boutonnieres arrived perfectly stored and labeled. The bridesmaid's bouquets were perfect. When I arrived to the venue and saw our reception room, I was truly blown away. It was stunning. The simple elegance I had envisioned and then some. I could not have asked for anything more. I received countless compliments on the centerpieces and my bouquet, the greens, the escort table EVERYTHING. From start to finish, Monica and Melissa were beyond accommodating, professional, timely and a total joy. I will be using Monica Chimes for all future floral needs. Please do not hesitate to hire for your wedding. I am so grateful that I did.

Monica chimes was amazing! She gave me a much better quote than the first florist I spoke to, and she totally understood the vibe I was going for at our wedding. Our chuppah was INCREDIBLE! White birch poles draped in greenery and it was such a magical experience to be married underneath it. Our centerpieces were tasteful and simple. And my girls and I loved our bouquets! They also answered my 1000 emails throughout the process quickly and thoroughly and were very very available for me throughout the planning process! Would definitely recommend this company

I was pretty clueless about what kind of flowers I wanted for my wedding. Other florists I spoke with expected me to already know exactly the kinds of flowers and arrangements I wanted, which was intimidating for me. Monica and her staff were so helpful in talking me through my options and figuring out what I did and didn't like. They helped me through the process of selecting flowers and colors for every element we needed throughout the day, and showed me pictures to help me visualize their ideas. I was also able to go in to see a sample table arrangement to make sure it was what we wanted. Monica also worked well with other vendors in ensuring that we had flowers for the cake topper and coordinating with the venue. I loved the end result and highly recommend Monica Chimes!

Monica from start to finish was the most amazing florist! We met Monica through my MIL, and from the moment we met, I knew she was a perfect choice to do our wedding. She sat with us and went over every detail, never pressuring me or making me feel silly for not knowing anything about flowers. She gave us her input, and helped us figure out what would work best for our budget. She was professional throughout the whole process, but also so kind and caring. Two weeks before the wedding, Monica called me and explained that because the weather became so cold so quickly, we would have to change all the flowers. Obviously, that was very stressful to hear. But Monica spoke with at length multiple times and gave me multiple new options, which helped ease all of the stress. The day of the wedding, I knew my trust was being rewarded. All of the flowers looked amazing, and lasted such a long time! Monica and her team did the most spectacular job making our wedding look magical!

Monica provided flowers and curtains for my wedding last Saturday and she was absolutely amazing! I know nothing about flowers and went into our first meeting totally clueless, but she was friendly and so helpful from the very beginning. I only told her the colors I wanted for my wedding and provided a few inspirational images I found online, but when I saw the final product, I was beyond amazed! Her flowers are also much more reasonably priced compared to other flower shops in the area. I told her my budget and she stuck by it. Monica and her team are true professionals and always responded promptly to all requests. Don't hesitate to use her! I highly recommend her not just for weddings, but for ALL events!

The team at Monica Chimes was great!! We were in a bit of a scramble as our florist backed out a month before the wedding, so were extremely relieved to find Monica Chimes. They were very willing to work within our budget, and were familiar with our venue (Crabtree's Kittle House) so had great suggestions for what to do for the ceremony flowers etc. Everyone loved the arrangements!

I wasn't going to write a review, but I noticed another bride had the exact same experience as I did and felt I should express my disappointment. The employee assigned to my wedding was let go half way through my planning process. I wasn't informed of this, so when I arrived to my next appointment I was introduced to my new florist. I went along with it because I was fairly confident that my vision would easy to carry out and I was trying to be flexible. The week before my wedding I received a call saying that my flowers had come in and that one of the flowers was a lot brighter than expected. I asked if it would look okay and the florist reassured me it would. So I agreed to keep it. On the day of my wedding the flowers were delivered without a word, without the florist there and worst of all---- they were NOTHING like what I had picked out. Just as the other bride described--- they were absolutely and totally different. The bright colored flower was taken out all together leaving me with completely neutral bouquets. They looked nothing like what I had described and the pictures I had shown. When I contacted the florist (They never even gave me a heads up) they said that they made an executive decision to take the bright flowers out and that they were sorry I was disappointed. I must say, I was most disappointed that I wasn't told of this decision and that the florist didn't personally come to deliver my flowers given the situation. The flowers were nice, but it made me so sad that they were nothing like what I wanted. I'm not sure why the florist felt that this was the correct way to handle the situation, but it felt like very poor costumer service. I wish I had the flowers I asked for, because my experience leading up to the wedding day wasn't necessarily a bad one. Luckily, I decided to let it go and didn't let it ruin my day.

Monica Chimes Floral was so wonderful from start to finish - they communicated very effectively which was not as common in some of our other vendors. We received responses very quickly. They were happy to make any adjustments we needed, even up to a week before the wedding! Their prices were reasonable and the end result was beautiful. My wife and I both had bouquets and they were similar while still being different which is exactly what we asked for! The arch was perfect. On the day of the wedding they even arrived early! I can’t say enough good things! I definitely also would recommend as an LGBT friendly vendor!

Michelle and the team at Monica Chimes are amazing! As soon as I walked into the store and spoke to Michelle, I knew I'd be in good hands for my wedding. I don't know much about flowers but I was able to share my ideas and they came up with beautiful, unique designs. When I saw the finished product at my wedding I was blown away. I highly recommend Monica Chimes!

I really enjoyed working with Monica and those in her studio, with whom I can tell she is very close not just as co-workers but also as friends. She is a very bubbly, warm, friendly, down-to-earth person. Right away, I could tell we could be conversational and relaxed with one another throughout the process, that she would endure my bridal worrying and fussing with good humor, while, importantly, she still consistently responded to and worked with me in a timely and thoughtful way. She gave me a lot of time and feedback whenever I requested it. I give four instead of five stars because on our wedding day, all the bouquets had bright pink garden roses instead of blush, a color that was not in my contract and is unfortunately not a color I really like. I have to imagine this was due to extenuating circumstances, though, because in all other ways, though, Monica was wonderful, and I'm grateful to her for all of it.

Monica and her team made my floral visions for our wedding a reality. I simply gave Monica photos of my ideas and told her my budget and she worked her magic. I visited other florists and did not feel the warm connection I did with Monica. She was kind and enthusiastic from the very beginning. The day of our wedding, our table centerpieces were simple, yet elegant. I received so many compliments about them. I cannot say enough how much I absolutely LOVED my bouquet. It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I will be sure to recommend Monica and her entire team to anyone looking for a talented and professional florist!

Monica Chimes Floral, THANK YOU! I will be honest, I was very skeptical in the beginning because there are so many vendors on The Knot and you never really know what you will get until the day comes. But one of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to trust Monica Chimes Floral with our decor and flowers. Our initial quote was absolutely out of our price range but we decided to visit them anyway and Michele worked with us to get it right. They start off high to show you what it will cost to do something extravagant but works with you to create something just as beautiful but at a price you are comfortable with. I showed Michele only a few photos of what I wanted (all of which were different styles) but she immediately understood what I was going for and in the consultation I was blown away by what she was able to produce. The one thing I was worried about leading up to the wedding was the decor and I left it all in Michele's hands. It ended up being more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. First I have to say that I never write reviews but felt compelled to write this one after having experienced the worst business and customer service I have had in my entire life. Monica Chimes Floral, Inc. in West Harrison, New York was not only the worst wedding vendor experience I had while planning my wedding in June but Monica personally is one of the worst people I have ever met and dealt with. We first went to their store in West Harrison, New York to meet Monica and her staff and see a sample of a centerpiece. We liked the centerpiece they showed us (which was based on our recommendations) and decided to hire them and give a deposit. Do not be fooled by them. One of Monica’s employees was assigned to my wedding. Right before our photos were to start, the bouquets were dropped off in the room where we were getting ready. We did not see them being dropped off. They were dropped off without anyone telling us, or calling us that morning, to let us know that the bouquets we thought we ordered, were not the bouquets we were getting! The flower colors in the bouquets for my bouquet and the four bridesmaids were TOTALLY INCORRECT. Not only did I clearly tell Monica and her employee that I ONLY wanted peach, yellow, white and blue flowers MANY times (they knew since the samples of the centerpieces were those colors) but it was clearly written in our contract. I even created and sent them my own booklet of pictures and descriptions detailing EVERYTHING I wanted specifically for the bouquets, aisle decorations, cocktail flowers, etc. Monica’s employee even promised me that she would send me a picture of everything the day before the wedding, and of course this never happened. Not only did the bouquets have bright hot pink flowers but the "blue" was actually purple. These are two colors that I definitely did not want, did not fit into my color scheme and were not listed in the contract. Not only was there pink, but they picked the worst type of flower for a bouquet, ones that instantly fell apart. Another issue we had with the flowers was the vases they used for the flowers placed down the aisle were supposed to be in low galvanized buckets (also in the contract) and discussed with them numerous times, but instead they were in tall, smooth, silver vases. Sadly, messing up the flowers on the most important day of my life is not even the worst part of it. The worst part of the experience was dealing with Monica and her total lack of customer service skills. I was flabbergasted to find out how Monica aka Monica Chimes Floral, Inc. handled it. Instead of apologizing for the crucial mistakes, Monica was extremely nasty and defensive. There is a longer, even worse story to this, but unfortunately I cannot fit it all. Do yourself a favor and do not choose Monica Chimes Floral, Inc. for your wedding florist. Why would you want to knowingly do business with such a mean, awful person and add stress and uncertainty to such a special day?

Months later and people are still commenting on her work. Professional, kind, and a true artist. I could never have imagined our day with out her!

Monica Chimes Floral was and IS amazing! Monica and team saw my vision and delivered above and beyond on my wedding day. The display they did on the place card table was amazingly beautiful. Monica even texted me pictures of the bouquets ahead of time and let me provide feedback. Monica Chimes Floral was a pleasure to work with, everything was beautiful and affordable!

Monica Chimes Floral, Inc. did an absolutely extraordinary job on the flower arrangements for our wedding. I gave her the color scheme and let her do all of the pickings. I must say that she well exceeded my expectations and everyone raved about the centerpieces and the bouquets. I left for my honeymoon three days after my wedding and when I returned one week later the centerpiece flowers were still alive and looking beautiful. Monica Chimes Floral is definitely the florist to chose if you want nothing less than exceptional for your special day. Thank you again so very much.
