MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa

We were married in July 2013 and held our wedding reception at the MontBleu and could not be more impressed with the overall experience! The summer before our wedding we visited Lake Tahoe to find a wedding venue for our upcoming wedding. Originally we had not planned to look at the MontBleu, however, after a few disappointing appointments with other venues (whom shall remain nameless) I found MontBleu on The Knot and called them up to see if we could make an appointment. I spoke with Denisse and she told us to come in right then and there and she could speak with us (we were incredibly excited because this was the day before 4th of July, which is a VERY busy time in Tahoe). Denisse met with us and we were extremely impressed with the MontBleu's reception area and value so we booked our reception for the following summer. The entire process with MontBleu was amazing!! I was a little nervous about planning a wedding from so far away but Denisse and Anna made the task EASY! They were always available via phone or email and their response time was incredibly quick and efficient. We met with Denisse twice before our wedding (once about 6 months before and once the week of our event). Both times Dennise was patient, informative, and left us excited for the big day!! Our wedding reception itself was AMAZING! When we walked in we were blown away by how beautiful it was! The touches were classic and elegant; but also didn't break the bank which was a big plus (we did a lot of research before and this was by far one of the most affordable options). Denisse set up all our favors, our guest book, and our gift table (which was wonderful because I have friends who have had weddings at other venues and they needed a friend or family member to set up personal items). Along with our guests (close to 90 people attended our reception), my husband and I had a great time and many commented on how beautiful the room was set up, how helpful the staff was, and how much they enjoyed the food and bar (we opted for the open bar which is totally worth it for the price). We also stayed at the MontBleu while in town (as did many of our guests) and Dennise let us view our reception room which was partially set up the night before to see if we wanted to make any changes and confirm last minute details. On the day of our wedding she also met us downstairs in the lobby where we caught our limo bus (also provided by MontBleu)with our wedding party to go take our pictures and attend our ceremony. Upon returning to the hotel, Dennise was inside the reception hall taking care of our guests needs and waiting for our arrival. She stayed through our reception, and along with the rest of the staff helped us to create an amazing celebration that we will NEVER forget!! Thank you Denisse, Anna, and MontBleu for providing us with a wedding reception better than we could have dreamed of!!
