The Freedom Center was a PERFECT venue for our wedding. I had a lot of wild ideas for my wedding and Sydney made them all possible with her constant support and communication throughout the entire wedding planning process. I cannot recommend them enough not just for how beautiful the space is but for how wonderful the staff is in making sure everything is perfect for your wedding day!
I had my wedding in the Harriett Tubman theater there and it was absolutely amazing. Most people can't admit when they are wrong but I CAN. I probably was one of the difficult brides to work with but Hillary Gentry was very patient and she went above and beyond to make sure my day was amazing. My coordinator did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and Hillary stepped right in to help. SHE IS AMAZING.
We held our ceremony and reception at the Freedom Center and couldn’t have been happier with our venue selection. It’s truly a one of a kind venue. The second floor space is gorgeous with high ceilings, and has a spectacular view over the Roebling Bridge which is stunning during the day and evening. All of our guests commented on how wonderful the venue was and appreciated the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor terraces and loved the ease of an all in one venue. Andrea was extremely helpful and responsive during planning leading up to the day and on the day of, she ensured everything ran absolutely perfectly. This is an amazing place to celebrate a wedding downtown.
We had both our ceremony and reception here. The majority of our guests were from out of town so it was great to have everyone in the same spot and not have to move around from venue to venue. Racquel and Angela were wonderful to work with and open to new ideas and worked with us as the venue is not often used for weddings (yet!). They found us Cincinnati beers (Christian Moerlein) to serve, Graeters and Skyline. We had a great time and the view was the perfect way to show our out of town guests the riverfront. We also had all photos taken of the family and bridal party here which made transportation a bit easier as well. We did have to really be flexible on the ceremony space as it was not the most breath taking spot. Our florist helped us with this.
The Freedom Center was an awesome venue and I am definitely glad I chose it. The views of the riverfront were amazing especially at night. I was looking for a location that was contemporary and unique and the Freedom Center delivered. I was initially concerned about the parking situation with it being downtown and my wedding being scheduled the same day as a Red's game but the Freedom Center staff had me covered and everything was flawless. If you are looking for something different that can accommodate large groups, this place is it. We were given 2 floors ( 1 for the cocktail hr, 1 for dinner and dancing) with elevator access and everything was seamless.
Fab. Beautiful, unique venue right on the river. Rhonda Miller, our contact there, was great about making recommendations for other vendors (including our band, 2nd Wind, who was awesome and a huge hit.) She got back to me in a timely manner for the most part and was very accommodating when we ran into a few challenges. I love the huge space (though the hard surfaces may have increased the noise factor). If I were to do it again and had mucho more bucks, I might spend it on lighting the place with some color, just because I think the photos would be better. That said, the atmosphere in the moment was good enough with just lighting on the band. There is an upstairs for cocktail hour if you want to pay extra. Awesome view. Great all around. Thank you, Rhonda!
There was a great view of the suspension bridge. there was an outside balcony. The space was very large. There was a grand staircase.
