We had a trio of guitar, violin, and trumpet play at our wedding. Working with Harry to select the songs was a very easy process, he provided popular songs and Youtube links to how they sound on strings/brass. They handled the microphones and speak setup for the ceremony, arrived 30 minutes early to play as guests arrived, and played the processionals and recessionals. The ceremony music was beautiful, then the trio moved locations seamlessly and played their own selection of light jazz for the entire cocktail hour. All the guests loved the touch of live jazz for a New Orleans wedding.

Harry and his associates were absolutely wonderful. Harry was very professional and organized and helped me pick music ahead of time, made sure all people important to the flow of the ceremony had coordinated details and had what the musicians needed so that they literally arrived, played beautifully and went seamlessly...like absolute pros. He had an extensive library of pieces to choose from and was very receptive to my own choices. I was a violin player for many years and had some pieces dear to me from childhood. When I heard them in the beautiful church setting it was very emotional for my whole family and beautiful beyond words. The musicians did a wonderful job and I wish I could recall their names to say a personal thank you. Their playing was a blessing and I would highly recommend using Harry and his team.

Harry and his team of musicians were amazing. They performed at our daughter’s wedding ceremony. Professional and amazing. Harry assisted me with ensuring we had the best combination of instruments. Their performance included a variety of music from Frank Sinatra to Metallica and Queen. One of our guests that had arrived before the ceremony started was live streaming herself crying just listening to how beautiful the music sounded. They really set the tone for the most elegant and romantic wedding ever.

My now husband is a guitar player and was excited to have some out of the box choices for our songs. We had a guitar and violin player perform for our ceremony. Our guests loved the music. We first heard Electric Yat at NOLA Brewery while in the process of planning our wedding. I found them on Instagram and reached out for ceremony musicians. Harry was so easy to work with and even helped problem solve when we realized we weren't able to have New Orleans Classical & Jazz play on the rooftop. Harry suggested a DJ for our ceremony and played for our cocktail hour indoors. The were beautiful musicians and their flexibility was SO appreciated. Highly recommend!

He advised the appropriate ensemble and found sheet music for a special song request and provided helpful suggestions to create the vibe we had envisioned. I highly recommend Harry Hardin and his musicians! They were so easy to work with and professional. We had a pianist and and a cellist for our intimate wedding ceremony and it was absolutely perfect. Their song list is extensive, having both classic and modern songs in their repertoire. The music was beautiful and they were perfectly on cue. Although we booked them on somewhat short notice, Harry developed a musical plan with us quickly and provided excellent musicians. I booked ceremony and reception music very last minute due to the uncertainty COVID 19 brought. Harry was so easy to work with. I used a string ensemble for my ceremony. The music was lovely. For reception, I used a simple 4-5 piece ensemble. They brought the NOLA vibe. They were fantastic! Highly recommend them!

We decided last minute we wanted classical live music played at our wedding ceremony. I was pretty doubtful that we would be able to book someone with such short notice. I emailed Harry less than a week before our wedding, and he responded that same day with available musicians. We initially planed on hiring only a cellist, but Harry suggested we add a classical guitar player, and it really complimented the cello. He also had great recommendations for songs. I would definitely recommend his services!

Our guitarist was awesome! Our selection of music for our ceremony was unique and included rock songs that you don't normally hear at a wedding. Our guitarist made them sound beautiful and ethereal!

Harry was amazing! I wanted a solo violinist to play the ceremony and part of the reception. When Harry saw what music I wanted, he suggested adding an acoustic guitarist to make the music sound fuller. He was right! The music sounded fantastic and I couldn't have imagined it any other way. He was even able to get sheet music from my Husbands favorite video game to play when he walked down the isle. The musicians were one of the highlights of the night. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how lovely they were. If you are looking for live music to play at your wedding, I highly recommend Harry and his team of fantastic musicians!

Harry was the easiest vendor to work with! We had him book our string trio for the ceremony, a piano player for our inside bar, and then he took care of the permitting and booking of Kinfolk Brass Band for our second line. When doing my research, I saw some brides say that they just did the route and permitting themselves...I have no idea how they did that and I 100% recommend just having Harry do it. Everything was so wonderful and all the guests commented on all the musical acts!!

My husband and I are both musicians and we were very pleased with the quality of performance, the selection of songs they already knew, and their ability to make a beautiful arrangement of a new song we requested. I could not say enough great things about Harry Hardin. They played beautifully and really worked with me to play the songs I wanted for my ceremony. We had a special request for when my husband walked in and he got the music and played it! Then I had a friend singing as I walked down the isle and they not only agreed to play with her but emailed directly with her to coordinate the song and set up practice directly with her!!! It took so much off my plate and I was not nervous about the ceremony (at least not the music part!) It meant so much to me to have her sing during the ceremony and I am so grateful Harry Hardin worked with her to make it happen!!! I could not recommend them enough. I cannot say enough good things about New Orleans Classical & Jazz. Harry is very nice, professional, and super easy to communicate with. We hired Harry and his company for a second line parade brass band and a jazz trio for our wedding reception. Both were incredible! The brass band was super fun and I loved all the music they played. Our guests had an absolute blast dancing up and down the French Quarter in the parade. Harry also handled the hiring of the police escorts, and filing for the parade license. Such a great help to us! Our jazz trio was absolutely amazing too. The musicians were so talented and professional, and it was a treat getting to dance along to their music. Harry is so professional and considerate, he even talked rain plans with me as I was panicking about the weather before our big day. Luckily, the weather was absolutely perfect, but I know even had it rained, we would have still had great music and dancing at our wedding. Everything was so easy with New Orleans Classical & Jazz, I cannot recommend them enough!

My husband and I love classical rock and I was so happy to find someone with such a range of music to play so we did not have to walk down the aisle to classical wedding music. The violinist and guitarist that played our ceremony were amazing, and I still get chills thinking of when I heard them start playing "Going to California" and "Ripple". I would highly suggest them!!

Oh my, New Orleans Classical & Jazz is seriously the best. We booked them for our ceremony at the New Orleans Museum of Art and everything was truly beautiful. We booked a piano and violin, and the music was BEAUTIFUL. It's been a month since our wedding, and our guests are still raving about the music. The best part about it was that Harry was such a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. He' so warm, organized, and attentive. He helped me decide on music I had in mind, and even offered some great advice on some other aspects of the wedding since I was a destination bride! New Orleans Classical & Jazz truly added so much elegance to our wedding ceremony. They even played some of our requested favorite R&B songs from John Legend, to Beyoncé to The Fugees. They can do a wide range of genres! If you're looking for an ensemble for your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception...anything... I highly recommend! P.S We booked our sound equipment through them as well, (mics and etc.) and it was affordable and worked perfectly!

Harry put together a duet for my ceremony, an acoustic guitar and violin. They were amazing! I had some special requests for the playlist and they were happy to accommodate and even brought a special guitar just to play one of the songs i had requested. We had them play 'In My Life' by The Beatles during our ceremony to honor our parents that had passed and everyone was in tears, it was beautiful. Many thanks!

I would hire Harry Hardin and his musicians every single time. Harry arranged the musicians and provided song choices for my daughter's wedding. I contacted him once and he took it from there. I worked with Harry to put together the music repertoire to match the ceremony I had planned. He was professional, customer service focused and very organized. Harry gave me song ideas, samples and structure to shape everything. There are choices for any instrument or instrument grouping you have in mind. He even worked with me to have my friend sing with musicians. It was one of the most special moments of the evening. The musicians were wonderful! I would recommend them to any bride and groom.

We cannot recommend Harry and his group highly enough! Harry's group performed for my sister's wedding years ago, and there was no doubt in my mind who to pick for our wedding musicians. I was so excited to work with them! Not only are they truly some of the finest musicians in New Orleans, but Harry is a consummate professional. He gave amazingly quick yet thoughtful responses to any questions we had. He also gave great suggestions for songs/arrangements that really captured the feel we were looking for. We worked with Harry to coordinate ceremony musicians (and the right ensemble) as well as a second line band--and the music was phenomenal!! Our ceremony ensemble (including Harry) played magnificently; the music was so incredibly beautiful and moving, and it was the perfect setting to one of the most special moments in our lives. Later, our second line band brought the party with some New Orleans classics. And having been in quite a few wedding second lines, I have to say these guys were fantastic! They were so fun and engaging--everyone had a blast! If you're considering hiring them, do it--you will not regret it! Having played various musical instruments during my lifetime and being a music-lover, I can say that Harry and his group are first-rate. Music was one of the most important things to us for our wedding, and these guys blew us away. So, thank you Harry and all the musicians at New Orleans Classical & Jazz! Highly recommend! I worked with Harry to secure my details and he was SUPER patient with me as I was indecisive with my music choices. He helped guide me to the perfect songs for my ceremony and I couldn't thank him enough! Anne was my solo violinist and she was amazing! She was so sweet, and the music was flawless. New Orleans Classical & Jazz was the perfect choice for our wedding! From my very first phone conversation with Harry Hardin, I felt like I was in good hands. My husband and I were having a destination wedding in NOLA, but were living in New York, and as a classically trained opera singer (with a Masters degree in Music), I was a bit nervous about booking musicians off the internet alone. However, I knew from the start that Harry from New Orleans Classical & Jazz knew what he was doing. Harry coordinated a classical pianist to play at our rehearsal luncheon, a classical trio to play during our ceremony, a guitarist to play our cocktail hour, and a five-piece jazz band to play at our reception. First off, I couldn't believe the how fantastic the cellist was who played during our ceremony. I asked for the Bach Cello Suite No. 1 (which I've heard countless times played out of tune) for my bridal party's procession. The cellist nailed it stunningly! I was thrilled. The guitarist was fantastic during our cocktail hour! He could play both classical and jazz well and was super friendly. Finally, the jazz band blew me away! They were fun and flexible and while we had given them a couple songs in advance to play for us, they happily accompanied me singing an impromptu song for my mother. They played a drum roll for the bouquet toss and threw in a burlesque-type soundtrack for the garter removal and toss. They picked up on the fact that there were a lot of Minnesotans who wanted a chicken dance and broke out playing it at the end of the night and brought the house down! We really couldn't have been happier with the services of New Orleans Classical & Jazz and highly recommend them for any musical aspect of your wedding!
