Newport Tent Company

We talked to probably 8 tent companies, and ultimately selected Newport because they seemed like the perfect balance of price, professionalism, and quality. Throughout the whole planning process, setup, and take down, they were extremely professional and flexible with our constantly changing demands. We even had a big snafu where we had to get the tent setup TWICE (long story), and they were very accommodating when we were at our most stressed. Highly recommend them for any event, particularly weddings.

Rented ceremony chairs and some tables. Working via email was a breeze and I could make changes to my order pretty easily when I needed to. Excellent company to work with. Set up and breakdown was timely and efficient.

We used Newport Tent for our wedding reception, which was in our backyard. We were so impressed with their service. Bill and his team were all very professional, helpful and knowledgeable - they offered us a variety of options, did a site visit to scope out the right spot, and were great both about set up and take down. Though we were by no means a large job for them, they took a lot of care with us, and answered all our questions, large and small. With all the stress of wedding planning, this was one thing that we could rest easy about - they are great and know what they are doing! And by the way the tent was beautiful! We will certainly use Newport Tent for any future events.

Newport Tent Company was excellent. We had a tent reserved only if it was going to rain and if we didn't need it they were going to give us a full refund. Weather was looking iffy all week and they let us wait up until the day of our wedding to confirm if we wanted to use the tent. We ended up needing the tent and they put it up quickly and perfectly. We really appreciated their flexibility.

Newport Tent was so easy to communicate with and so helpful. I told them how many guests we expected and they were able to tell me how much flooring I would need for a dance floor. We also rented a stage for our band. I didn't need to worry about thing with them!!

Our tent was beautiful. It had a navy stripe around the inside which tied together the nautical theme without being too much. The solid floor throughout the tent made the whole tent a dance floor which was fun. The personalized flags on top of the tent added a festive touch.

I will start by saying the tents are not cheap; but that if you can swing it, this is a good place to sink the money. It was a zero-hassle process. They came out to the house and scoped out the land, and came up with 3 options for how we could set up the tent, with an eye toward which option we should use if there was rain or flooding, etc. This consultation was free. Once we signed, they were great. They gave us no trouble when we called to lower the number of chairs/tables that we wanted to rent, and without a mumble discounted us that amount of money. They came, set up the tent, tables, chairs, and dance floor--we did not have to lift a finger. It was exactly as we wanted it. The day after the wedding, they took it all down again, again with no effort on our part. The tent was great--clearly durable, beautiful, clean. The flaps were strong enough that it could have withstood rain; luckily, the day was sunny. We had shade, but we kept the flaps up and light and breeze came through. It did overheat. This company is expert at what they do--and they do it professionally with excellent service. It isn't cheap, but we hired them on a very small budget, and are glad we did. Totally worth it.
