Nissequogue Golf Club

Our wedding was absolutely amazing!!! The club is beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. Barry was great in helping with all of the details and made our wedding day so perfect and special! I am so happy we chose Nissequogue Golf Club for our special day. Linda & Jeff

We had our wedding here in mid-October and it was perfect. If you are like me, you may be looking at venue after venue, debating which one is the best choice. I would highly suggest choosing Nissequogue and I am so glad I did. Barry, the manager, is absolutely amazing and was so incredibly helpful each step of the way. He provided guidance on food, tablecloths, seating, and more, and was always willing to answer questions and help out. It is worth booking here for him alone. As for the venue, it is beautiful, especially in the fall, with a long winding road all the way up to the main entrance of the clubhouse. We were also able to take golf carts down to a bridge near the water and take pictures. The view from the ceremony was amazing, with the golf course and Stony Brook Harbor in the background. The food was top-notch. Barry explained that they use the same chef as they do for the clubhouse as well as the same pieces of meat, meaning the filet mignon was not your average cut. The food was great for a restaurant (not for a wedding) and would blow away any other food from other venues, especially those that have many weddings each weekend (or each day). The other important thing was that we felt the day belonged to us. They do not do many weddings so the space is intimate and private and there is a lot of attention to detail. Also, we had a private bridal attendant during the wedding, who was amazing as well. Lastly, the price was very reasonable. This is really a hidden gem! If I had to choose a venue all over again I would choose Nissequogue each time.

Barry and his team did an amazing job making the wedding planning experience enjoyable and low-stress. From the first meeting, everything was easy. We had clear guidelines and deadlines that made us confident everything would go smoothly. The food was delicious and you really can't go wrong with whatever you choose. It is a special, intimate venue that will set your celebration apart from the cookie-cutter catering hall event. The drive through Nissequogue makes you feel like you are already on your way to a special place. The venue sits on top of a hill overlooking immaculate green lawns and stunning views of the water. Our guests were so impressed with the picturesque outdoors. We held cocktail hour outside. The inside of the mansion is just as spectacular, private, and elegant. The service was excellent. Guests raved about the filet mignon and salmon. Truly a night to remember! This venue is a hidden gem!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Barry and his team were more than exceptional going above and beyond throughout the entire experience from planning the wedding to the night and day of. Even weeks after our wedding we still receive compliments from guests and family members around the food, service and beautiful venue. We were so happy to find Nissequogue Golf Club and can't thank Barry enough for all he did for us!

My wife and I had our wedding at Nissequogue and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went. From start to finish, Barry and his staff were exceptional. When preparing for a wedding you always hear about the stress leading up to the big day and throughout the day itself. Nissequogue provided us a stress-free planning process and an unbelievably stress-free wedding day. Everything on the logistical side of things were expertly taken care of and provided us the peace of mind that is invaluable to any bride and groom on their big day. What an amazing venue Nissequogue provides! Breathtaking views of the bay make for great photos and provide added entertainment for guests. Rather than a closed-off reception hall with limited rooms and amenities, Nissequogue boasts dramatic scenic views from an outdoor cocktail party to the indoor Harbor Room and it’s magnificent windows/surroundings overlooking a beautiful oasis of golf, nature, and the water. We have received nothing but overwhelmingly positive compliments about Nissequogue. Barry and his staff made our big day all the more special. We had our wedding at Nissequogue Golf Club in September 2019, and had the most PERFECT day! They did a beautiful job, from the passed appetizers, to the food stations, to the drinks, dinner and dessert - we continue to get compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was! The staff worked with us to customize several things and make sure the day was everything we envisioned. Barry and Jack were super helpful throughout the whole process - we cant say enough good things about them. We would HIGHLY recommend considering Nissequogue as a venue for your wedding!
