Nona Lani Cottages

Absolutely LOVED this place! My wedding was the BEST day of my life and the Nona Lani Cottages was the perfect venue for us. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is a family-owned operation, and they are all genuinely nice people. To have a wedding here, you have to rent the entire property- all 8 cottages. It worked out perfectly because we had our entire wedding party and parents stay for 3 nights. The nightly rate is very reasonable. We stayed at the end of April/ early May and got a good deal...i think it was around $175 (tax included)/ per cottage per night. I liked that they didn't have extra charges like the big resorts. We had a casual bbq rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding, my fiance and his groomsmen did all the cooking, and us ladies relaxed in the bbq area, drinking sangria that my MOH made. Delicious! Since we rented all the cottages, we had the entire estate to ourselves! We didn't need to worry about bothering other guests with our excited chattering. It was also perfect for the families with young children. Two of my bride maids had kids under 5 years old and their kids were able to run around the grounds without a concern. The grounds are lush and expansive, with tons of space for the kids to play. They loved it! On to the wedding.... The wedding planning was seamless. My planner was the grand-daughter of the owners and the planner for all the weddings at the property. She was the best and went over and above my expectations!! She is also super sweet, very detailed, meticulous, and thorough. She brought up things that I didn't even think of. You can tell that she is experienced in planning weddings! I felt completely relaxed the entire time. The daughter of the owner made all my leis, our bouquets, and centerpieces. I loved my flowers---they were so gorgeous! The cottages are really cute...1 bedroom and full kitchen which was really nice. Comfortably slept 2, but can fit up to 4 if you want. I was in a Ocean View, #3. I loved sitting on the patio, watching the sunset in the evenings. There is a main road, Keihi road, so just be aware that you could hear some road traffic. I didn't find it bothersome at all because the speed limit is 20 mph, and that road isn't too busy. I totally recommend this place! Rent all the cottages so you have the entire place for you and your guests!
