Nordstrom Wedding Suite

Lindsay and her team were absolutely amazing! They made me feel so comfortable and excited to try on dresses! My girls and family has a wonderful experience as well. Everything was exactly how I dreamed it would be and I even found my PERFECT dress!!! Thanks to Linsday and her team, I was able to check the most important item off my list!

My experience was with Amanda Jones as the consultant. Amanda was a sweetheart, just a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful. She reached out to me ahead of time as promised to get a general idea of the wedding and the feel I was going for. I am very indecisive and can be hard to please, but she listened to all my wants/needs and was very patient. She even told me about an upcoming trunk show so I could save a little extra on the dress. My experience was with McKenzie Slattery. It was the first dress fitting I had been to and I was nervous and overwhelmed. And can I tell you how thankful I am that my first gown fitting was with McKenzie. She made me feel comfortable and not pressured at all. She didn't rush me either which I was worried about before going in. She seriously set the bar so high as a consultant, that my next appointment I had at a different store, went by horribly due to the fact it was the exact opposite as the experience with McKenzie! I just wanted to thank Nordstrom for hiring someone so amazing!!

I went to the Nordstrom Wedding Suite for a bridesmaid dress. I made an appointment online and Olivia called to confirm. During the appointment, Olivia was very nice and attentive to my needs. She grabbed the dresses I requested and a few other ones to try on as well. She was very very helpful. I ordered my dress the next week and I couldnt wait to get it! Mackenzie called to follow up with the order when it was in and I picked it up yesterday. I cant wait to wear it! Everyone working there is really nice and very helpful!

I went to 3 fancy bridal boutiques in Manhattan before coming to the Brea Nordstrom and left each appointment feeling so discouraged - not only was I not happy with the selection of dresses but I felt the whole process was impersonal and that my consultants were trying to force me to spend well beyond my budget. My mom and I had an appointment with Mackenzie at the Nordstrom Wedding Suite in July and we had the BEST experience! From the moment she greeted us Mackenzie made us feel so welcome and comfortable. She was absolutely lovely and encouraged my mom and I to look around at the dresses and let her know if there were any we wanted to try on (this is in total contrast to the NYC salons where they don't let you look through the dresses at all and you're completely reliant on your consultant pulling dresses). I was thrilled with the selection and I loved that all the dresses had price tags so I knew right away whether something was in my budget without having to ask. We ended up pulling about 7-8 dresses to try. I was the only bride there during my appointment and Mackenzie was so helpful with getting me into all the dresses. I was used to feeling rushed at all my other appointments and Mackenzie was the total opposite of that - she encouraged me to go out to the bigger mirrors to stand on the pedestal and even took photos for me on my phone when my mom's photography skills weren't cutting it :) In the end I narrowed it down to 3 dresses and was feeling slightly conflicted. Mackenzie did a great job asking questions that helped me narrow it down without ever pushing me towards one dress or another. When I finally made my decision she seemed genuinely happy for me - it felt like having a friend there in the dressing room with us instead of a consultant! I am in love with my dress and I couldn't have asked for a more special day of shopping with my mom. I would recommend Nordstrom (and especially Mackenzie!) to any bride out there who wants really personalized attention an amazing range of dresses. Thank you Mackenzie for making my wedding dress shopping experience so wonderful!

I worked with Amanda and she was wonderful! She encouraged me to try on dresses that were outside my "vision" and one of them ended up being the one! I would have never even tried it on! She made me feel comfortable and special during my appointments instead of rushed like I had at other stores.

WOW, i don't know where to begin! I brought my girls in for an appointment with Olivia and i must say it was a wonderful stress free experience. Olivia was very welcoming and excited to help us find dresses. She was very clear from the get go on dates and times and what would work best for our time frame per designer. Olivia was beyond helpful and her upbeat personality made our experience in the Nordstrom Bridal Department one to remember! Thanks for everything Olivia, you rock!

Such an amazing experience! Since Nordstrom is my go to store I thought I'd try it out for my wedding dress and was absolutely awesome pleased with how everything turned out. Kimmie, my bridal consultant, was there for me every step of the way and even helped out with mob dresses, accessories, you name it! I love that they do alterations in house and I was nice to have Kimmie there to guide me through my fittings along with a seamstress that has been working on this kind of stuff for years. Nothing short of the amazing customer service Nordstrom offers.

Amazing service! I had been everywhere trying to find the perfect gown. My last store was Nordstrom Brea, I met Mackenzie my stylist. She had a room set up for me with all the dresses I was interested in. Mackenzie also had pulled dresses she felt would flatter my body. Of course I went with a dress I didn't pick, Mackenzie picked the perfect dress for me. I love the designer selection they have. I went with an Olia Dress who is an amazing designer that allows you to customize pieces of your dress to make it your own. I found my perfect dress @ Nordstrom Brea! Thank you Mackenzie.

even though i didn't go with a dress from nordie's, a dress i tried on here put me on the right track to saying yes. the selection isn't huge, but mackenzie is worth the visit!

Like the other ladies are saying, I've shopped at Nordstrom my entire life. I thought it would be an amazing and easy experience. I called to me an appointment ando they said they would follow up with me prior to my appointment to discuss the style of dress and more information. This never happened. I went to my appointment and told them the style I wanted and price point. I was shown three dresses that were not what I wanted and told they were my only options. At this point I knew that the associate I had felt like this appointment was pointless to her. Not once did she help me with trying dressing. She would only lay them on the floor and tell me I could use her should for balance if I wanted. She never told me what fabrics or designers any of the dresses were. I literally left the store wanting to go to the court house so that I do not have to go to another shop to try on more dresses.

Nordstrom is one of my favorite stores and the bridal suite is no different! I worked with Mackenzie Slattery at the Brea Mall location, and she was so warm and so helpful. I was nervous as this was my first dress shopping experience, but she made it a breeze! Thank you, Mackenzie!

I have always loved Nordstrom. I was very excited to go dress shopping at the Wedding Suite in Brea. I made an appointment ahead of time. Wedding Stylist Lindsay let me know I could browse online so they can bring in more styles for my appointment. I had a particular one in mind by Haley Paige I found online. Lindsay was amazing. She made me try on all different styles so I knew what I liked and what I definitely did not like. It was a seamless experience for me and best of all it was STRESS FREE and FUN! Thanks to Lindsay I have my dream dress!

Nordstrom Bridal Suite is the best. I really don't know what else to say! From the moment I set up an appointment in San Francisco, they were so easy and helpful. I bought my dress in SF, and they got it down to me in Orange County no problem. At each fitting, the customer service was fantastic and amazing. It is so worth it to go through Nordstrom because they don't pressure you or make you feel like you are just one of the cow herd like other bridal dress stores do. I felt special the whole way through, and each person who helped me was so personable and nice. They were accommodating and offered water every time I had to go in. When it was time for me to do my final fitting and take my dress, they bought me lunch at the cafe while I waited for my dress to be steamed. The seamstress was FANTASTIC at the Brea Nordstrom. She really made sure my dress fit right down to the littlest adjustments. The only bummer is that it was a drive out to Brea from my home in Huntington Beach since Brea is the only Nordstrom store south of LA with a Bridal Suite, but it was definitely worth it!

I definitely recommend Nordstrom's Wedding Suite! I had my one and only consultation at the Wedding Suite in Brea, CA and Sana was truly helpful. She brought both dresses that I said I liked and a couple that weren't on my list. The fifth and final dress that I tried on was the one I picked for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier. It definitely was not one that I ever thought I'd wear. The whole experience was very easy and comforting. I had all my dress fittings at the Wedding Suite in Houston, TX, closer to where the wedding venue was. The ladies there couldn't have been any nicer and the tailor was super nice. I can't recommend a better place than Nordstrom for wedding dress shopping.

I love Nordstroms, and this experience was no exception. Even though there was a bit of a sticky situation between the designer and the seamstress at Nordstroms (dealing with multiple alterations...long story), Jennifer was very professional in trying to be the liaison. They were patient with a very trying dress (it was beautiful but a bit difficult to work with), and in the end, the dress turned out beautiful. They even shipped it cross-country for me.

I have shopped at Nordstrom my entire life so it made so much sense to visit one of their wedding suites. I bought a beautiful high-quality silk dress for a very reasonable price. Your consultant also becomes your bridal stylist. They can help dress your entire wedding party. Since they are also a terrific department store you have so much to choose from when it comes to shoes, rehearsal dress, etc... Highly recommend!
