Our daughter's wedding was held here in October. The event coordinator Mark Walsh is amazing. The course was a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. Cocktails on the terrence after the ceremony were fantastic and dinner under the tent was was delicious. Kudos to their chief, our guests couldn't say enough good things about the appitizers during cocktails and the main course at dinner was outstanding. Mark and his staff were excellent! No request was to big or too small, they were incredibly gracious and attentive throughout the day. Great place for a wedding!

North Hills gave us a tremendous wedding experience! Mark was very kind and helpful with the planning of our timeline and food. We were able to make most of our dishes/appetizers gluten free. They were happy to accommodate us. The emcee, Joe, was there to help things along and answer questions the day of the reception. The food was delicious and the presentation was great, as well. We highly recommend!

North Hills Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding-reception. The initial consultation was seamless with the Event Director, Mark emailing packet for our review prior to our meeting. This nervous bride had no worries as Mark worked behind the scenes making sure our day remained special and celebratory with family and friends in attendance. The grounds are well maintained. Thank Chef Charlie and Banquet Staff as the food was delicious and prompt set-up and serving of carving stations. I highly recommend North Hills Country Club to be your next venue for your next celebration.

The ownership changed after I had already booked the wedding, which was a bit worrisome, but everything turned out great. The food was amazing, and most of the staff was absolutely top notch. The event organizer was very organized and very responsive, which I liked. My only complaints were that I couldn't bring in the bottle of wine that I proposed with and that the dinner service was slower than we expected, but overall, it went very well.

Really pleased with the North Hills Country Club. Guests are raving about my food choices and especially cocktail hour food. The staff did a great job with the reception room and making alternative cocktail hour plans when the rain forced us inside. Price was very fair for the venue. The venue is so nice and has an amazing bar inside the reception hall to guarantee your guests won't be leaving the room all night to get a drink in another room.

We don’t know where to begin, because everything about this venue was incredible. The staff, the ballroom, the FOOD, and the view, were simply incredible. The Manager, Jason, was in constant contact with us to ensure everything we wanted was taken care of. We had changes to the menu, a Whiskey/Cigar bar, Fire-pits, specialty cocktails and beers, and multiple other touches to our reception that we wanted, and he made it all happen without a hitch. The sheer amount of time and effort he put into our day will never be forgotten. The food was over the top in terms of taste and presentation. Throughout the cocktail hour and reception countless people were raving about how great the food was. Kudos to Chef Nate!!!!!! Other reviews touched on this, and they weren’t lying. The food is absolutely in a league of it’s own when comparing it to other weddings we have attended as guests. During the reception, Jason and his assistant were visibly getting things done and helping our guests with anything they needed. They helped elderly guests to their tables, took care of our gifts, guided the shuttles and Limo, took care of any food and drink issues, all while being in constant contact with us to ensure we didn’t need anything. They were amazing. Lastly, Jason helped us around the golf course for pictures with the photographer, while his assistant was inside managing guest arrivals and such. We felt at ease knowing we didn’t have to worry about one thing, and we could just enjoy our pictures. The grounds have a TON of gorgeous flowers and trees, as well as rolling hills and pretty views that we took full advantage of for our pictures. Overall, we give North Hills a 10/10 in every category. Thanks for everything, and a special thanks for making our day so special!!!

Loved everything about my wedding at North Hills! Totally under rated facility. It may be a little dated but the options of outside seating, the attentiveness of the employees throughout the reception, and the food makes up for anything the facility is lacking (and that's not a lot!). The room looked beautiful and I was so pleased with the way things turned out. Jason, the club manager, and his assistant were awesome! We were able to set things up the day before which was great as I had a lot of DIY decorations, and anything that wasn't set up,Jason took great care of. Thank you for making our wedding amazing!

One of the most underrated wedding venues in the Philly Area! There are not enough positive things I can say about NHCC and their staff. The venue itself is stunning, the food it to die for and the service on the day of your wedding is 5 stars. The cocktail hour overlooking the golf course is top notch. There was plenty of bar staff so waiting for a drink was never an issue. Both the groom and I come from Irish drinking families and several comments were made about the impeccable service from the bartenders. We received so many compliments on not only the venue itself but the food both during cocktail hour and dinner. Good luck finding another venue that provides better bang for your buck! Only negative I can say is the wedding manager was a little slow on responding to emails. This is not a knock on him or NHCC. Every detail the day of the wedding was simply stunning—nothing was missed or out of place! If you can get past the venue missing a “grand entrance” then this is the place for you.

North Hills was amazing and the staff answers all of our needs. They were so on top of everything we didn't have to worry at all in the end. Every detail was taken care of and I would recommend them for any occasion.

Was at North Hills Country Club recently for a wedding as a guest and a few things didn't sit well with me, I have been to many wedding and have never experience the rudeness from the higher up staff you would think it would be a warm and welcoming experience instead they we're short toned and not very nice. Also I get that the country club is still open to members but while having a wedding i honestly think someone should have said something to all the kids running around behind the ceremony that I felt took away from the bride and groom when having a kid running across mid ceremony took away from the bride and groom. I will say this the food was great. I was thinking of my having my wedding there but this place left a bad taste in my mouth:/

We had our wedding at the North Hills Country Club on March 22. Everything was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, the room was beautiful and the service was second to none. There were no lines at the bar, even during the initial cocktail hour rush. We really have no complaints. Jason Equi was awesome to work with. He thought of things that would never have even occurred to us. Jason really is the expert on how to set up your wedding so everyone has a great time! We received so many compliments on how beautiful and more importantly how much fun our wedding was. The hostess and maître were so attentive. We wanted for nothing during the entire reception. We could not have asked for a better venue. The value is incredible.

North Hills CC in Glenside was absolutely perfect. We planned our wedding out of state (from Northern VA), and Jason, the club manager, was so easy to work with. He accommodated our schedules for all of the pre-wedding planning, including our planning meetings & tasting. North Hills had a great set up for our ~150 person wedding with a terrace as well as a sun room for cocktail hour and a ballroom with a big dance floor and big bar for the rest of the reception. The grounds are beautiful and very well-maintained. They will adjust their package to work with your budget if you need to. We went with their basic wedding package (cocktail hour, dinner, open bar, reception set up, cake) with our only upgrade being chair covers. We dropped everything off at the venue on Thursday before the wedding and NHCC set everything up perfectly. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Everyone raved about all of the food and the whole reception space. It was perfect!

North Hills Country Club is a great place for your wedding. The grounds are beautiful and the indoor spaces are really nice. My daughters wedding was on June 22,2013. Jason and his staff were great to work with and were very professional. The food was amazing and so was the cocktail hour. Loved the bar set up outside and in. Jason will work with you on your vision and pricing. Our only issue was taking pictures outside. The golf course was open so we were not allowed to be on the grounds. This was not discussed ahead of time- we didn't think to ask about it and it was not mentioned in the brochure. Be sure to clear this up ahead of time so you wont be disappointed. All in all it was a great day!

My husband and I had our wedding at North Hills Country Club on June 8, 2013. We looked at numerous country clubs before we finally stumbled upon North Hills at the end of our search, and we are lucky we did! No other country club could beat the price. We met with Jason, the club manager, and were thrilled with everything he showed and told us. We were able to get married outside, overlooking the golf course and then have the reception in the ballroom. Cocktail hour was in 3 locations, 2 inside and then all of the outside area. We couldn't have asked for a better venue! My girls and I were able to get ready there as well in the women's locker room, which was a bonus. No need to rent a limo to take us to the ceremony location. And who doesn't want gorgeous wedding photos on a beautiful golf course? Everything exceeded our expectations. The service was an A+ and the food - delicious! We still have friends and family tell us that they actually ate all of their meal at our wedding! We were also able to have the rehearsal dinner in the dining room of the club, which was a lifesaver! Not sure what else can I say, but that we really lucked out in finding North Hills Country Club! The country Club is gorgeous! The landscape alone is stunning, and can be viewed from the many patios available to you and your guests. We had a lot of DIY projects and Jason, the Club Manager, and the staff were more then willing to help set up and breakdown the venue. We have had so many compliments about North Hills, the food & the service were beyond expectations. We had offered our guests, the Chicken Margarita, Stuffed Flounder, and the Filet. There were no disappointments here! We would Highly recommend this venue!

Jason Equi and his highly trained staff provided outstanding service. I didn't have to worry about anything! All of my questions were answered, and we were able to modify anything that we wanted. The grounds of the country club are stunning, clean, and well-maintained. There are also several beautiful locations to take unique, memorable pictures. The tiered patios make for a relaxed but classy cocktail hour. From the appetizers to the dessert, the food was phenomenal, and I have received many compliments from my guests. I have absolutely no regrets in using North Hills as my reception venue.

I loved North Hills Country Club. So many people commented on how pretty it was. The food was awesome, the bar is very large, the outside area that is connected to the reception site is spacious, and everyone was so nice. They pretty much just take care of everything. I felt like I barely had to do a thing and the reception was perfect. I could not have asked for a better venue.

North Hills Country Club is a beautiful venue! It is very affordable and the manager is so accomodating. The staff was so helpful and polite. So much is included in the cost of the reception hall. NHCC is truly a great value!

If you are looking for a location to have your wedding, I would look no further than North Hills Country Club in Glenside, PA! Jason Equi and his staff are professional, gracious, courteous and efficient. To say they go above and beyond in their services is an understatement. As an Event Manager, Jason made the entire planning process seamless, even for things which would not typically be within his area of "control" or responsibility; which for a bride-to-be who typically does not relinquish control of most things, was incredibly important! Jason accomodated and coordinated with all of our vendors throughout the planning process and especially on the day of the wedding, which allowed my husband and I to focus on our guests and each other. The Country Club itself is beautiful, serene and elegant; but with a casual and laid back undertones. Furthermore, the ENTIRE Club staff, from the waiters and bartenders to the staff in the Pro Shop, were helpful and supportive, which made the entire day go by effortlessly. The food was prepared exactly as we had discussed and the presentation was beautiful. We received so many compliments that evening on the quality and diversity of the entire menu. The bar menu also accomodated all tastes and the quality and caliber of the alcohol selection included in our cost was top notch! Above and beyond the amazing service, Jason was conscientious of our budget; something that was not at all lost on us. That being said, the price for our wedding ended up being within the parameters of what we had planned to spend; and in comparison to many of the venues we considered, extremely reasonable. I loved everything about my reception area. The manager, Michael, goes above and beyond to make sure the day is perfect. The guests are still raving about the food - the cocktail hour is fabulous. Overall, there was not one thing I asked for that they didn't supply.

The natural beauty of a golf course with trees and green green grass to use as a background for picutures was wonderful. A Patio to sip the night away on cocktails that also overlooks the golf course with a beautiful sunset. The food was outstanding, as having being a former employee I would expect nothing but the best. The service was wonderful, kind of awkward having one of your old friends/co-workers wait on you, but you I know I would only have the best. The cheesecake with raspberry filling with chocolate cake on the bottom was amazing, there aren't enough words to describe the how outstanding it was. It looked and tasted even better than an award winning cheesecake company in the area. There were several rooms that able to set up several acitivities in. Having more space allowed out guest to enjoy themselves while mingling, having cocktails, enjoying food, and dancing.;Make sure you have every detail that you are thinking of in your head written down and given to the proper person. You may think that even the littlest action such as serving ladies first, or where you would like the napkins placed, to in our case we requested, or thought we request Miller lite on tap vs. MGD, the house tap. Also ask for a break down of costs, there may be hidden costs that you may not have known about such as set up fee, fee for round tables vs. square/long, a fee for different napkin, table cloth colors, fee for a cake table or cake cutting, bartenders fee, and the list goes on. But most of all, enjoy the process, when things get a little stressful, take time to spend it with your fiance and remind yourself what all the stress is for!!
