Norwalk Inn has been one of the key venues to many events in Fairfield County, however, many overlook it when it comes to a wedding.
It has been a place near to my heart since it holds so many memories for my family. I could have gone with a huge venue that felt like a factory and put on all the glitz, but that is just not who I am.
Norwalk Inn recently was renovated and they did an amazing job. The Artemis Room holds up to 200 people. I even had them open up a connecting room just for my photo booth and desert tables (I am Greek - we needed a lot of tables for the pastries).
The service was impeccable. The team here has been working together for years, they know what they are doing. Everything came out on time and was delicious. The cocktail hour was awesome and they kept the trays filled. The staff is friendly and approachable. Both owners, Chris and George are wonderful. Chris was there the day of my wedding and made sure everything was taken care of, even after everyone had gone.
The front desk took care of blocking out rooms for my guests ahead of time and the guest bags as they checked in.
The next morning my guests ate a delicious buffet breakfast and some even went for a swim in the outdoor pool.
Overall, I would recommend this venue, especially to a bride who is looking for an intimate venue.

It was an absolute nightmare dealing with this hotel for a wedding. We had a room block, reservations for months in advance. Yet, the night of the wedding, they were short rooms that had been booked and confirmed. The groom's parents were left without a room and the owner was beyond rude and told the bride she wouldn't help her.
Disgusting business. Do not trust them with anything important. If you want to stay here for a wedding in Norwalk, I highly suggest you look elsewhere.
It was such a headache and my sister and husband and all of our family we were treated like garbage.

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on the Norwalk Inn because they hold events constantly but for anyone looking to do a wedding there, here you go. The planner that I worked with, Ingrid, was absolutely wonderful. She answered every question and worked with me day and night to make sure everything for the big day would go smoothly. NOW, the actual day. Ingrid works during the week so her counterpart, a tiny man with slicked back black hair, was the RUDEST man. My father bought these beautiful handmade champagne glasses from another country for my husband and I to toast to. This man offered to wash them, BROKE them, then claimed it wasn't his fault because "they were hot." I kid you not, that's what he said. When I confronted him he wouldn't even apologize. Also, with about an hour left, the power went out. Honestly, it wasn't a big deal. We had a small wedding so most people were leaving at that time anyway but AGAIN, this "manager" came YELLING at our DJ, who has done multiple weddings there, turning something that wasn't that big of a deal into a scene. If you see this manager anywhere near your wedding, RUN. I want to say his name was Jimmy but I could be wrong. Our day would have been perfect if not for him. On the plus side, our food was delicious, people still compliment me on it, and the staff was very attentive. Our honeymoon suite that you get for the night when you have your wedding there was a spacious, comfy, and updated room. If it wasn't for the horrible manager I would have given this review 4 stars but I just couldn't get past how bad he was, it is something that I will never forget and that man honestly does not deserve that job with the way he acts. You can tell he made the staff nervous as well so it was clear that I wasn't the first person he's upset. Make sure if you have your wedding there to request this man NOT be there, and your day will be wonderful!

The Norwalk Inn is a great place to have a wedding reception. They only hold one wedding at a time so you feel like you are the center of their attention the whole night. We were not able to go to the bar for our after party right after the reception so they comp'ed us an extra hour of open bar in the reception hall. They were extremely helpful with every aspect of the planning process and everything went off without a hitch. The prices are very reasonable, as are the prices of the rooms. The food was delicious as well!

The lobby restaurant bar and banquet rooms were renovated recently and are spectacular. Norwalk Inn is owner operated and the service was exceptional.;The outdoor patio is lovely however if the sides need to be down for inclement weather it loses some of the appeal. The hotel guest rooms are a little dated in the decor however are comfortable. Some rooms are a bit small.
