Omni Severin Hotel

The OMNI was an absolute DREAM for our wedding. We had the most amazing coordinator, Caroline who I hope to continue a friendship with after our wedding. Not only is she incredibly kind and supportive, but she is AMAZING at her job. She showed so much excitement about the planning process with us and made us feel as if we were the only ones in the room! Caroline was very responsive and always had answers to any questions we asked. She is an incredible professional but had the best personality for this role. Everything during our day went exactly as planned, but she made it SO fun. Caroline also demonstrated a ton of respect and friendliness towards her coworkers who were instrumental in making our day special! thank you to Chef for the amazing meals and everyone at the OMNI! We would absolutely recommend getting married here!!

We had a fantastic wedding experience at the Omni, and would be happy to recommend it to others as well! The venue gave us the elegant and intimate style wedding we were hoping for. In particular, we really liked the grand staircase as a key feature in our first look and reception grand entrance. The only downside of our experience was that many of our guests had to pay for parking, but that was more due to the location in downtown Indianapolis rather than for the Omni themselves - the Omni did help with this by offering free valet parking to us (the wedding couple) and each of our parents though. Throughout our wedding experience, we worked with Tamryn as our coordinator from the Omni and she was great to work with. She was easy to get in contact with and was able to answer all of our questions leading up to the day; and on the day of, she was excellent in making sure everything went according to plan! Overall, we were happy with our choice of Omni as our venue! Thank you to Tamryn and the staff for making our day special!

Tamryn was AMAZING. She truly has a natural gift for helping you make your dream wedding become a reality. She was able to give sound, professional advice while also making you feel like you're talking to your bff. We couldn't of asked for a better venue coordinator.

I could not be happier about our experience with the Omni. Everyone made us feel special from the initial meetings to the day after our wedding. Caroline was instrumental in making our day the best day of our lives. She has a calming presence, yet gets everything done in a timely manner. I was very happy to have her there on the day as well! She and the Omni were there to accommodate any request they could. I never felt silly asking any questions. The food was amazing (you always think it’s going to be better at the trial, the day of was just as good or better!). The venue itself is gorgeous. Being able to have everything in one place was a huge plus. They also provided some little things like table numbers, card box, etc which made it easier on us! Our guests seemed to love our venue and we received many compliments!!! I would not hesitate to have our wedding here again!

We had the best experience at the Omni with Caroline! She and all the staff at the hotel made the day and weekend so smooth and absolutely beautiful. They took care of us and made us feel at home from the second we checked in until the second we checked out. The food was OUTSTANDING everyone is still talking about how delicious and large the dinner was. The bartenders were fantastic. Truly the best evening and wedding. So thankful for Caroline making the day perfect for my husband and I.

We hosted our New Years Eve 2022 wedding reception at the Omni Severin, and we could not be more pleased with the event. We have had countless friends and family reach out to tell us "that was the best wedding we have ever been to," and my wife and we couldn't agree more. From the Omni Sales staff, event staff, front desk/operations staff, everything was incredible and we are very thankful. I highly recommend working with the Omni Severin and can assure you that you will be beyond impressed and satisfied with your choice.

By far our favorite vendor! The team at the Omni was always available and quick to provide answers and help. All of the staff, including those hotel staff outside of the wedding group, were incredibly hospitable during our wedding weekend and any time beforehand during preparations. We love that we are able to visit and reminisce on our special day in years to come; what a fun way to celebrate an anniversary. The venue is gorgeous and the staff are delightful. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing service. Every single vendor and server were extremely professional and respectful. They were all so friendly. The wedding was extremely gorgeous. There are so many details and work that was put into the set up and clean up. The decorations were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entire day was made so easy by the Omni staff. Having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Omni was a great decision. We had a lot of out-of-town guests and having everything in one spot was very convenient. Caroline Steele, catering sales manager, was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. She was professional, very detailed and on top of everything. She seamlessly worked with our day-of coordinator to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. The food was delicious. Multiple guests mentioned how great the food and service was. We also received an upgrade to use the presidential suite for the weekend, which was a great perk. I would definitely recommend the Omni to anyone looking at a downtown Indianapolis wedding.

Caroline Steele was amazing! She truly removed stress from our planning process, provided great insight, and on the day of the wedding she was more helpful than our actual day of coordinator. We loved the results of our wedding day at this hotel and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. The only callout would be for them to be a little more upfront about the additional charges for chairs and meal side dishes shown during the walk-throughs and sit-downs. Overall we'd definitely recommend this hotel for a wedding. It's in the heart of the city, walking distance from bars/restaurants, and gives you a city feel without having the chaos of a large city.

The Omni Severin is truly the best Indiana has to offer for wedding venues and quite honestly can compete with any nationally acclaimed location. There are 3 factors that stood out to myself, my wife, our families and our guests: 1 - The event space: The Omni is a beautiful hotel from the early 1900's that has a dream-like cinematic aesthetic. The beauty of the interior space from the grand piano, to the ornamented pillars, to the chandeliers, to the lighting itself makes you feel like you are a part of a nostalgic movie from decades ago. If you are thinking that other venues can achieve this look and feel, please reconsider the Omni for your event because there is something intangible about their space - I suspect its the tall, two-floor ceilings and large open space that makes it so welcoming for events like weddings. While other venues may have similar classical interiors, we noticed they lack the open space of the Omni, often with event rooms that are separated and segregated with unnecessary hallways, walls or low ceilings. The Omni is a beautiful space for weddings. 2 - The food: We have attended many weddings and with each of them, the food is generic wedding food - usually over seasoned with sauces and garnish that add very little flavor. It is understandable since the vendor has to prepare the same dishes en masse. With the Omni, the food was superb. We received many compliments from our guests for how delicious the food was and we noticed that ourselves. The food was incredible and tasted like each dish was personally prepared for everyone. 3 - The service: Good service is often subjective but we can say with all sincerity that the Omni provided the best service we could have asked for. In addition to accomplishing all the usual obligations as a wedding vendor, the Omni staff took every opportunity to improve our wedding experience. Most notable was the surprise they gave us on our wedding day when they had an upgraded suite become available, and they gave it to us at no extra charge. Additionally, the staff was especially inviting to us, our families and our guests. The staff members felt like our guests by the end of the evening thanks to their service, kindness, and even some participation on the dance floor when they could. It was enough for my father to write a special letter to the Omni thanking them for being so hospitable to all the guests. The Omni is a 10/10 for service and we would like to specifically thank our Omni representative, Caroline Steele, for leading the way on many of these decisions to accomodate us. If you're thinking of selecting the Omni Severin, do yourself a favor and ask for Ms Steele if she is still with the organization. She is an amazing professional and will always be a great friend of ours thanks to her amazing stewardship of our wedding weekend at the Omni. We understand that not every wedding is the same nor do they all turn out as well as ours. However, the Omni was the best money spent from the entire experience because those memories will last a lifetime and we will always look back on that weekend with great fondness and love thanks to the efforts put forth by the Omni Severin.

Pros:Tamryn and Tara were very professional and I could tell genuinely cared about meeting our needs. They stayed on top of EVERYTHING ! The Omni was a beautiful, elegant venue and was a convenient space for our guests to host both a wedding and reception. Every question we had was answered in detail and we were treated with respect during the entire planning process! I had a two level bridal suite and my husband got a suite as well. We had no issues with the hotel staff and the service received was up to par. Cons:The main entree for the guests, Parmesan crusted chicken, I heard was very good after speaking with a few who attended the wedding. However, a select few (including myself and my husband) got the short rib. It DID NOT taste like it did at the tasting. The short rib was very dry and hard to chew. Everyone who got the short rib were not pleased. I was somewhat disappointed about that because I was looking forward to a tasty meal. The spacing in the lobby for the reception was a bit small and there a few tables that weren’t able to see what was going on because of the walls. Additionally, my husband and I were looking forward to giving a farewell to our guests in the ballroom balcony but we couldn’t because the door was locked. I heard of some instances with rude kitchen staff and we also had some issues with the front desk staff related to valet parking. Rooms were nice and spacious but could use an upgrade. Overall our experience at Omni was great, communication was on point, and the needs were met by the event staff to make sure our day was complete and as smooth as possible!

We had an amazing experience at the Omni Severin and would highly recommend it! It was the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. The hotel is beautiful and truly a perfect place to get married. We felt so special from start to finish and really enjoyed the whole process with the help of everyone at the Omni. Caroline Steele, the Catering Sales Manager, did an excellent job helping us plan and execute all the details for our day like the food, beverages, table set ups, and ceremony space. She also helped to make sure everything went perfectly on our big day! It was so wonderful to not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day because Caroline and her team had coordinated with our other vendors to make sure everything was set up and executed according to our plan. I remember walking down the staircase after spending the morning getting ready and we were able to take in how beautiful the space looked before all our guests arrived. Every detail was truly more perfect than I could have imagined and the whole Omni team helped to create such a wonderful experience for us! We got a ton of compliments from our guests on the beautiful space, delicious appetizers, meal, and late night snack, and service from the staff. The hotel accommodations were great as well. We stayed in the presidential suite which was absolutely magical! It was the perfect space for me and my bridal party to get ready the morning of the wedding and has the perfect lighting for beautiful photos. We are so happy we had our wedding at the Omni Severin!

Hosting our daughter’s and new son-in-law’s wedding at the Omni Severin in Indianapolis was one of the best decisions that we made leading up to their wedding. We cannot say enough about the entire incredibly professional Omni staff, but working with Caroline Steele, Catering Sales Manager, was the most amazing experience. Caroline assisted with the planning of the entire weekend including the bridal luncheon, rehearsal, wedding day, wedding ceremony, reception, and Sunday brunch. Caroline is INCREDIBLE. She is detail-oriented, professional, amazingly responsive, and so on top of everything. Caroline seamlessly collaborated with us and our wedding planner. She took our vision and made it come to life more fabulously than we could have ever imagined. In addition to her professional talents, she is also a dream to work with interpersonally. She is warm, caring, sensitive, and always a calming and supportive presence. Thank you, Caroline and the entire Omni Severin staff, for my daughter and new son-in-law's magical weekend that will forever be remembered by us and all our family and friends!

The Omni made our wedding absolutely perfect, and planning was so easy with them! We worked with both Stephanie and Tara, but Tara was our main coordinator, and she was phenomenal!! She coordinated all of our vendor drop offs, managed set up for the entire reception (including decor), took our gifts up to our room, and even was able to score us an extra backdrop for free! She checked in on us personally multiple times throughout the reception, and she made the entire planning process so easy and fun. I highly, highly recommend booking here. You won't be disappointed!!

The Omni was absolutely amazing!! Not only is the venue gorgeous but Stephanie and Tara did a great job with everything leading up to the wedding and on the day of - I honestly couldn’t have done it without them. The food was also amazing and months later we still have people telling us how delicious the food was. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

I cannot say enough about Stephanie and Tara at The Omni. Not only did they make my wedding day perfect (and I literally mean as close to perfect as humanly possible) the planning leading up to it was seamless. We even weathered a pandemic and re-scheduling our date together with ease. I would highly recommend having your wedding at the Omni. You won't find better people, better service, or a better experience anywhere else.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Omni. My daughter’s wedding came off without a hitch and it was made virtually seamless by Stephanie ,the coordinator at the venue. She was so patient and willing to graciously accept our many questions and changes that developed as a nervous bride and Father of the bride tried to plan a once in a lifetime event . The Omni was an absolute pleasure to work with!!! They were absolutely amazing and were so easy to work with! We rescheduled our wedding during the pandemic which was super stressful! We switched between multiple people due to the pandemic and you wouldn’t even know because they all knew what was going on! I cannot stress how much they made our wedding day perfect! They made everything so stress free and made planning a wedding seem easy! They were so sweet not only to us but our guest! You could email them with any questions and they were so easy to talk to!!! The Omni was the perfect venue for our wedding in June! Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, but Tara and Stephanie's attention to detail and communication leading up to the wedding was so helpful and really put me at ease going into our wedding day. They made sure that everything and everyone was taken care of during the wedding, so we did not have to worry about anything other than enjoying our day. The food was also delicious, which isn't always a given with catered meals. We really appreciated their vegetarian, vegan, and allergy friendly options for our guests as well. Our family was highly impressed with the level of service that we received throughout the day. I would choose the Omni again in a heartbeat!

Stephanie, Blanca, Tara and the rest of the Omni event team went above and beyond to make our Christmas in July wedding celebration spectacular! Stephanie was extremely supportive, available and responsive to all of our ideas. We choose the Omni not only for the beautiful space and convenient location but also for the awesome coordinators! We are so thankful for everyone there and can’t express how much we loved every second of our day!

The Omni Severin Hotel was the perfect choice for our intimate wedding. We booked several months prior to the COVID-19 pandemic unfolding. Our coordinators, Tara & Stephanie, kept us updated and contacted us regularly for any requests, changes, or updates. Their professionalism and attention to detail made our day so organized and easy-going!! My family, especially our bridal party, were amazed not only at how gorgeous the venue was, but, at how smooth the day went. As a bride, I was well pleased!! Our guests' are still talking about their professional service, food, and the atmosphere. The Omni made our day so simple & peaceful during difficult times. The Omni also provided hand sanitizing stations & our guests were able to socially distance themselves. I highly recommend booking the Omni, especially for intimate weddings!!

I was recently married at the Omni Severin Hotel and it was the best experience that I could of asked for! I felt so prepared thanks to their staff and wedding coordinator Sarah, I could not of done any of my planning without her. They made sure that all of our requests were met at a timely manner and when it came to the day of I had minimal stress because they were so on top of things! The hotel staff was friendly and warm to us and all of our guests we received lots of compliments from our friends and family! The venue itself is gorgeous with plenty of space for guests but not so big you feel like the room is empty. To sum it all up this was truly the perfect day, my husband was also very pleased with no major kinks along the way! I was able to actually sit and enjoy this day and not be stressed about minimal things.

If you’re planning an event in Indianapolis, look no further than the Omni Severin. Located in the center of the downtown action, the Omni provides everything you’d want under one roof. Lodging, dining, access to shopping, all surrounded by classic elegance, the Omni was the perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding. The Omni also provided us with Sarah B., our event coordinator who is kind, courteous, and detail oriented. During the year we spent planning the wedding, nothing escaped her keen eye and extensive experience in providing a perfect experience for the most important day of my daughter’s life. On top of all that, my daughter adored her and found a friend that made herself available for over 14 hours on the day of the wedding. Price wise, we found the Omni very close to the other venues we investigated, with the added bonus of complimentary, upgraded lodging and parking for the wedding couple, plus discounts for the family and guests. This knocked the competition out of the ring. Sarah and her staff are extremely attentive and highly motivated to provide a truly wonderful experience, and we left the Omni with the opinion that these people weren’t just doing their jobs, they are also very nice people. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Omni (and also stayed there the weekend of our wedding :)). They were so accommodating to our group for the weekend and so helpful throughout the entire process and my numerous emails and changes:) We absolutely loved working with the Omni for our rehearsal dinner and Tara was extremely organized and great to work with! It was a great space for our rehearsal and was able to accommodate our large group with ease. The event space, food, décor, and service were excellent! We also did a meet and greet at the Severin Bar after and the service and staff were great there and we had a blast! We had a great weekend downtown for our wedding and would definitely recommend the Omni for any event!

We had the best experience getting married at the Omni. To start with, the venue is absolutely stunning. The food is amazing. Our wedding coordinator, Tara, was super helpful and very on top of things. The wedding was exactly what we were hoping for and more! We had our wedding here on Oct. 11, 2019, and it was PERFECT! I planned the wedding from Florida because we had just moved there from Indianapolis. When I was searching for a venue I was trying to find a venue where I didn't have to contact multiple vendors to get tables, chairs, napkins, food, etc. Everything is included. At first I thought it was a little pricing but for everything you get with your wedding package, it is TOTALLY worth it! It was soo easy to plan my wedding. One of my friends told me I should get a day of coordinator or a wedding planning but I didn't need one! The Catering Manager Sarah Bean was amazing! You would think she would just be in charge of the catering, but no she helped me SOOO much! She listened to us and what we wanted. I could email her at any time and she would get back to me, even if she was out of the office! On the day of our wedding she was amazing and made sure everything went the way we wanted it to. If anything went wrong I didn't know about it at all, she either fixed it or got someone to fix it! The entire staff at the Omni was soo nice and helpful! We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Omni and I wouldn't have had it any other way. A lot of our guests stayed at the Omni and if they didn't want to there are so many nearby hotels to stay at. All of our guests LOVED the food and drinks (open bar is so worth it) and the entire staff! I can't thank them enough for our amazing wedding day! The rooms are gorgeous!! The Omni and all of its staff was incredibly helpful when planning my wedding. They were open to all of my ideas and worked with their outside vendors to create my exact vision. Everyone was incredibly eager to make my day perfect. The wedding package is also very generous and my money went farther than some of the other venues I looked at. If I had to do it all over again, I would absolutely have my wedding at the Omni Severin.

Tara and the rest of the staff at the Omni were incredible. When I first started planning, I felt incredibly overwhelmed but Tara was able to walk me through every detail. She is super patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our special day exceeded our expectations. We were able to relax because we knew that Tara would make sure we were in the right place at the right time. Not to mention to venue is beautiful!

Simply amazing. Our wedding coordinator (Tara) made everything flow as simply as possible. The entire staff was so friendly and made our guests feel exceptional. I had no stress the entire wedding day and I owe so much to the Omni for making our day as special as it was!!!

An absolutely beautiful, perfect day from start to finish. Where do I even begin? The staff was 100% responsive, 100% of the time. Tara, the events coordinator, was by my (virtual) side during the entire process, as my husband and I planned our wedding from out of town. I feel like I rarely read wedding stories in which every single thing flowed perfectly, but that was my day. It's almost sad because I have no crazy, wild stories that we'll "laugh about later" because everything went so smoothly, lol! But I couldn't have asked for a better day and a better venue. And omg the food!!! If they still have it and you decide to get married here, do the pork belly skewers. They're AH-MAZING. Thank you all, again! A thousand times over!

We had our September wedding at the Omni Severin Hotel and could not have dreamed of a better venue. We worked with Sarah, who was absolutely amazing. She was consistently an excellent communicator and would often answer emails within 30 minutes of my sending them, even on the weekends! She was extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and personable and kind throughout our whole planning process. The fact that the Omni Severin is such an all-inclusive venue, including ceremony space, all the food + drinks, catering staff, set-up and tear-down, it made our wedding day so easy and relaxing. We didn't have to worry about coordinating lots of different vendors. The space itself is so gorgeous and timeless, classic, and a beautiful venue to get married in.

We loved having our wedding at the Omni! Tara Wrin was always available to answer questions and guide us along the way. Everything from the first visit, throughout the planning process, tasting and into our wedding weekend was great. We got so many complements on the ceremony room and the beautiful ballroom. Everyone loved having everything in the same location as well. Highly recommend!

The Omni was exceptional for our cocktail hour,reception and family brunch following the wedding. Working with the staff, especially Stephanie, made planning our wedding a breeze. They worked so easily with our vendors. We were actually able to enjoy our wedding without a worry in the world because how well the Omni’s service is. Their facility is absolutely beautiful and we received so many complements on the space. Staying at the Omni the night before and night of your wedding is just an added bonus. Our food was delicious and we highly recommend the sliders for late night snacks. Our friends are still talking about them. We recommend the Omni with absolutely no hesitations. I truly believe our wedding day wouldn’t have been as amazing if we had went with another venue.

This is just a wonderful place for a wedding. We worked with Tara Wrin as the Omni coordinator. She was terrific. Our daughter's wedding at the Omni included the ceremony in their ballroom (looked like a wedding chapel), cocktails in the mezzanine, dinner in the Severin lobby (complete with the beautiful staircase) and then dancing in the converted ballroom. I wondered whether the food would be as good as the tasting and it was! While there was another big wedding in the hotel the night before ours and 4 other wedding blocks we still felt very special. We also had a wedding brunch the next morning. Again, it was well done. Lastly, we had a few special needs guest. The Omni staff took care of all their needs and our guests complimented the attention paid to them. My daughter and son-in-law said they would do it all over again at the Omni (so would I as the MOB who was also the wedding coordinator). It is a beautiful venue, competitively priced, had delicious food, friendly and helpful staff and people, and a process that is easy to work with and organized. Thank you Tara and the Omni Severin!

I don't know where to start! The Omni Severin Hotel went above and beyond! Stephanie Burkhart was amazing from start to finish! The hotel is beautiful and I received so many compliments on my wedding! :) I really can't thank Stephanie and the staff of the Omni enough. You guys made my wedding unforgettable, and helped me so much during wedding planning! Stephanie helped me modify the menu for special requests and allergies, she even made it so that I could use the Omni shuttle to get to the church, on really short notice. Thanks for everything! Tara and the Omni staff were absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process! When it came to the weekend of my wedding they were so welcoming to all of my guests, and had everything ready and then some. I highly recommend the Omni every chance I get! Perfection!

I would like to commend the entire Omni Staff on a job well done! We had an absolutely perfect experience at the hotel. From the moment we pulled up on the front drive, everyone we encountered was helpful, professional, and engaging. I am so thankful we were able to get into our event space the night prior......I don’t know how we would have prepared the room the day of! Firstly, I would like to spotlight Tara who made the wedding planning process as pleasant as possible. Tara was professional, responsive, creative, and easy to work with. Literally every team member we encountered from valet, bell, security, and banquets was gracious and helpful. The staff made our family and friends feel like royalty!!! We all had such a lovely experience.

Picking this venue was by far the best decision in my wedding planning. It was beautiful, service was great, no stress, great food, all the spaces are impeccable and gorgeous. If you’re looking for a romantic, classic, historic venue- you cannot beat this! And 5 stars for coordinator Tara too!

I fell in love with the Omni immediately once I visited this venue. It is such a beautiful venue and it was easy to make it more beautiful! I love all of the gold throughout and of course the grand staircase. Working with Tara Wrin was wonderful. She did a great job answering all of our questions promptly. She made our wedding day run smooth. Our wedding day was simply beautiful and it couldn't have turned out more perfect. The Omni hotel staff was also wonderful and so nice! We worked with Tara, the Catering Sales Manager, for every aspect of our reception with the Omni Severin Hotel. Each detail was thought through on their end, and she answered every question we had. I felt our wedding was planned and cared for as if it was her own wedding. The staff made us feel valued and welcomed each meeting, and they were well prepared. My stress level the day of the wedding was low, because we built a trusting relationship with Tara, and I knew she wanted our day to be special and perfect. We did not feel pressured to add any extra packages, or do anything we did not have in our reception vision. I would do it all over again and not change a thing! I highly recommend this venue and staff for any Indianapolis wedding reception!

Tara, the wedding coordinator was very helpful, always available to answer questions, and worked closely with us to make the day just right for us. The Omni was a beautiful place to host our wedding day! Right in the heart of Downtown Indianapolis it was convenient and so nice to have all wedding day festivities right there at the hotel! From planning to execution, the Sales Manager was there every step of the way. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and customer focused and the food is amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better event space or staff for my wedding day!

We had our wedding here and it was more than we could have asked for. We worked with Tara Wrin and she was unbelievable!! Everything went perfectly because of her organization and attention to detail. She was great with communication and decision making. The Omni was such a gorgeous reception venue for our wedding and Erica was the BEST to work with! She was super organized and knew exactly what she was doing to make our wedding day run smoothly. It was perfect! The food was amazing and the ballroom and mezzanine were beautiful! I would highly recommend the Omni!
