Orchard Events & Catering is a lush venue that hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, showers and other special occasions. Built around a 1920's era territorial house on the site of a historic citrus orchard, this place is truly a timeless gem in the heart of North Central Phoenix. The venue also boasts a team that is friendly, seasoned and experienced with a heart for a couple's most important celebrations. Facilities and Capacity The property provides multiple beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces for To-Be-Weds and their guests. The Dining Room, Green Room, and Wine Cellar make distinctive private indoor event settings. The Wine Cellar is also equipped to provide a Wedding-Ready room for the bridal party. The North and West Patios connect to the Dining Room offering a great deal of flexibility for event size and flow. The patio spaces can stand alone or enhance and expand other settings. The "Barn & Lawn" area hosts a vast permanent white tent with elegant chandeliers and draperies. It is surrounded by illuminated trees and nestled next to an urban barn, offering abundant shade and shelter from the elements. These are all excellent sites to enjoy the Arizona weather, especially with misters, heaters and fire features available to extend comfort and atmosphere. The tent is positioned adjacent to the original historic water tower and is facing Piestewa Peak. The proximity offering multiple close and convenient options for iconic Phoenix Mountain Preserve photo opportunities. Space selections are available to host everything from an intimate micro-wedding up to a large and lavish ceremony and reception. Services Offered The Orchard Events & Catering team offers all-inclusive packages for the convenience of To-Be-Weds. These packages cover the venue, event planning, catering, bartending, event rentals, vendor coordination, setup, and cleanup. Available event rentals include tables, chairs, linens, decor, lighting, glassware, flatware, china, barware, and more. Available all year round, couples are provided with the widest possible range of dates from which to choose. Cuisine Selections available from an expansive menu featuring Italian, American and Mexican hors d'oeuvres, plated meals, stations, buffets, and desserts. Couples may enjoy a tasting session prior to their big day to ensure their complete satisfaction with these dishes. Couples and their guests may look forward to imbibing in bar packages which include options for premium or house wines, beer, spirits, and specialty drinks. I could not recommend The Orchard enough for any event but especially for a wedding! I searched all over the city of Phoenix for our 100-120 person wedding and was overwhelmed by the beauty, vast options and professionalism from April Pak and her team. We set the date and began to work for the wedding with 12 months notice. However, life happened and when we needed to move up the date by 8 months- April very graciously worked with us to make it happen. She and her team were able to pull off our stunning vision with only 8 weeks preparation! I should also mentioned, that we do not live in AZ, and did all the organizing and planning from the east coast. April was communicative, solution oriented and truly understood our vision. Our wedding was stunning and went off without a hitch! I am so incredibly grateful to The Orchard and April for making our special day unforgettable!

We used Orchard Events & Catering for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party the Friday before our wedding. They had an internal team change but their new Director picked things up right where the other left off! They were very flexible with us and met for multiple tours/conversations. They offer two great spaces to host your event, and allowed us to upgrade to the larger space mid way through our quote process after they realized there was an opening (they had a cancelation). This came at a cost - was not free to upgrade. However, the outdoor "barn" or under tent area was incredible. They had heaters, great drink service and the food was awesome! They offer add ons such as a DJ, microphones, open bar, etc. so you can customize your event. They were very flexible again with us while dealing with the bill because we had two sets of parents paying for separate portions of the evening.

The Orchard did a great job meeting our expectations. We had a few challenges along the way but they always stepped up and made our special occasion exactly what we hoped for! The venue is beautiful after dark too! If you haven't been there, check it out. Lovely patio spaces with beautiful trees and twinkling lights. A rare find in central Phoenix!

Luci's At The Orchard exceeded our highest expectations. The planning was seamless, and Michelle, the director handled everything including time table, food, alcohol, photography, and DJ. She is a true pro and made everything stress free. Our wedding and reception were perfect. Many of our friends commented that it was the best wedding they ever attended!!

I hosted a 70th birthday party for my mom at The Orchard and would highly recommend this venue. The entire process was seamless- Michelle was wonderful to work with. So communicative and helpful! The space was absolutely gorgeous and magical. Beautiful greenery and lights, and the table was so beautifully set. We opted not to purchase additional floral, and I'm glad because we didn't need it! The succulents and gold chargers were so pretty! The food was absolutely incredible. The apps were perfect- beautiful cheese/fruit trays and bruschetta. The filet at dinner was hands down one of the best I've had, anywhere. The garlic herb butter was delish. Everyone at the table was raving about it. Our server Andrea was fantastic- a true pro. She was friendly, efficient and made sure we were taken care of every minute of the event. I would highly recommend the Orchard to anyone looking to host an event. It was a truly magical night!

It's no surprise why the "Time of Our Lives" song was the last one we selected for our wedding day at Luci's at the Orchard - it really and truly was that. Thanks to the incredible service, passion, and knowledge that Michelle and her entire team at the Orchard brought to our celebration, it is still a day we look back to with gratitude and love. From the very beginning of working with Luci's to the final moments of the evening, every single person involved - from Michelle herself, to the florist, DJ, bartenders, etc. - made our wedding feel so incredibly special. I already loved the location prior to selecting it as our wedding venue, tucked away into a local Phoenix neighborhood the way that it is, but watching it come to life for our event made it even more special to us. It was also fantastic being able to have the ceremony and the reception all in one place, and the team made it look seamless in how they transitioned from one part of the event to the next. Michelle and Pam the florist were excellent in working with us to bring our vision of colors and overall vibe to life, especially with how laidback and fun we wanted to keep things. Don't even get me started on the food, drinks, and the desserts - they make everything in house at Luci's and the quality comes through in every detail. We especially loved the custom welcome cocktail they created for us. Don't skimp on desserts, either - I'm still dreaming of them, months later. There are so many other elements I could share, but the most important point is this: Luci's at the Orchard is a local neighborhood oasis that has so much to offer, no matter your event. They treat every logistic with the same time, energy, and heart that you're likely pouring into the planning. Can't recommend them enough!
