They captured so many amazing moments we wouldn’t have even thought to ask for. Taking photos felt like a natural, enjoyable part of the day rather than something we had to squeeze in. They also handled family portraits quickly and efficiently, which gave us more time to relax and enjoy some fun, candid shots. On top of everything, we received our photos earlier than expected and they are absolutely gorgeous! We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, organized, and genuinely fun photography team!!

We ended up getting over 1,100 photos that captured the entire evening and it's undeniable that Diallo and Michael are masters of their craft. Diallo also did our engagement photos and managed to get every shot to look amazing despite the fact that the weather was actively working against us. He made that wind work, let me tell you!!! On top of the talent of the photographers and the editors, the entire team has unbeatable professionalism. From the very start we had no trouble at all receiving guidance, answers to questions, and support. I could not send higher praises. Book them for everything!!

EXPERIENCE - We interviewed a few photography companies to compare prices, offerings, and aesthetic appeal; we ultimately decided on OW because they offered the best rates for videography and photography packages. From the beginning, the customer experience was favorable with multiple opportunities for touchpoints and planning. Their pricing is transparent and straight-forward; the add-ons will be tempting, and it will cost you. However, we appreciated that our interactions with the office staff weren't sales driven; they shared the options for add-ons without it being pushy. All communication and planning details are handled through a personalized portal and its the easiest way to ask questions and relay changes to the photography team. If you are someone that is not particularly organized, you'll love this feature and the imbedded questionnaires. They'll serve as a guide to crafting the look, identifying highlights to be captured, and a space for notes to the team working with you on the day of. During the wedding day, everything went smoothly and everyone was professional and personable. Their presence didn't feel intrusive and they expertly worked around our timeline to maximize efficiency. RESULTS - Our gallery was a fantastic mix of curated moments and candid memories. Each cluster of photos creates a timestamp throughout the day and it was a welcome reminder of all the small details of the wedding that can be easily missed among the shuffle of it all. In our package we stuck with 8 hours of photography and videography; electing afterwards to request the raw footage for an additional charge. I believe the quality of the photos and videos is phenomenal for the price - something similar may be double the price, especially if you're looking for more aesthetic/Instagramish vibe - we went traditional and it exceeded our expectations. SHOUTOUTS - I have to give special kudos to the team that worked directly with us. For planning and logistics, Sarah and Gabriella were attentive and quick to respond to questions. Sarah was very sweet and made our wedding feel like a priority and not just one of many they're juggling. I appreciate her collaboration on capturing the specifics to ensure even the smallest details were relayed to the team; and the results speak for themselves. The true heroes of the day were Pricilla, Sanaa, and Collin; they were the team tasked with documenting the magic of the day in a fashion that captured our essence as a couple. They quickly became a highlight of the experience - we hit it off immediately and their energy was uplifting and reassuring. We are eternally grateful for their patience with our families and the lighthearted approach they took to dealing with grumpier relatives. Overall, it was a beautiful day, and we are overjoyed to have been paired with this team because they did a phenomenal job.

hree different editing styles plus black and white, which I loved! I ended up choosing all four and it gave us such a great variety of looks and really captured all the different moments and vibes from our day. I’ll add a few photos in the three different styles so you can see the differences! They were easy to work with, professional, and made us feel comfortable the whole time. We also got our photos and video back super quickly, faster than their average turnaround, which was such a nice surprise. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I’ll cherish it forever. Highly recommend!

wedding day. Hands down, it was the best decision to choose them as our wedding photographer. Plus, a friend of ours used their videographer, and that was absolutely amazing too. So, whether you’re looking for just photos, video, or both, you’ll be happy! 10 stars if we could do more than 5 :)

We got married just over two weeks ago, so we’re still waiting on our video package, but based on everything we’ve received so far, I know it will be beautifully put together. The photographers and videographers were all so kind and wonderful to work with. Thank you for capturing our special day so perfectly!

of wedding coverage. Jared took care of us for both events. He was incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and patient. Neither my husband or I had ever taken professional pictures before; we both thought we would feel super awkward but Jared helped us to feel relaxed and confident. With his guidance and expertise our photos came out so so well. Bianca assisted him on the wedding day and she was also incredible to work with. Everyone at the company in general was super receptive and easy to communicate with. They were also transparent with their prices and the services that would be provided. Turnaround time for the photos was as promised. If you want gorgeous photos to look back on in ten, twenty, fifty years, hire this company!!

got, and great pictures. We hired a NY crew (2 photographers and 2 videographers) and I cannot thank them enough for being apart of our special day. Even though our wedding was in May we still get so many compliments and I constantly go back and look through our pictures. You truly cannot go wrong with hiring this amazing team. oked pretty quickly. I'm not gonna lie, about 4 months before our wedding I was really nervous that I wouldn't be able to really meet and communicate with the team before our big day. Especially since I made the timeline myself and had no coordinator or wedding planner, I was nervous that I wasn't going to be able to communicate heavily with the photographers and videographers. And after reading some of the negative reviews, I was nervous that the price was too good to be true. You can meet with your lead photographer over google meet, but you can only book two weeks out, and I was working 60 hours a week. Scheduling the meeting slipped my mind and then it was too late to meet with my photographer so I met with Sarah, who I'd been communicating with through Original Weddings. Not to worry! Everything went great. Sarah was so kind and told me my timeline was great which was a great comfort. On the day of, Julie was our head photographer and she was very very good and knowledgable. The rest of the team was also fantastic. We got our wedding videos (highlight and documentary) back about three weeks after our wedding, so the turnaround for that was amazing. The videos are so well done, we love them so much. We had a baby cry in the middle of our ceremony, and you can honestly barely hear it in the video of the ceremony because our officiant and my husband were mic'ed up and they edited it so well. Our photos came in about a week later, they are so amazing. We got over 900 photos to look through, I love all of them. The team captured everything and we didn't have to worry about them missing anything. Seriously an amazing experience. We recommended Original weddings to two of our friends who are getting married this year. My expectations were exceeded, Julie and co did such a fantastic job 10/10! Thank you so much!

est decisions we made for our wedding. It was important to us to capture all the memories of the day, which is why we wanted full-day coverage and a second shooter. We are so glad we did. Nothing was missed. From different angles during the ceremony to candid guest reactions we did not get to see in the moment, every detail was captured, both big and small. The engagement shoot, which was included in our package, made such a difference. It helped us learn how to pose, allowed our photographer to get to know our personalities, and gave us the chance to be creative together. By the time the wedding day arrived, nothing felt awkward or forced. We felt completely comfortable and had a lot of fun. On the wedding day, Ashton gave gentle direction that felt natural, fun, and creative, while still allowing moments to unfold organically. Our second shooter, Solomon, was equally wonderful. He was creative, personable, and a joy to be around. We truly felt the love and care that both Ashton and Solomon put into their craft. We also chose to receive our photos in all three editing styles they offer, along with black and white images, which gave us so much variety and made the gallery feel incredibly thoughtful and complete. Even more impressive, we received our full gallery back in just four weeks. Getting our photos back so quickly made the experience even more meaningful. It allowed us to share them with my husband’s grandmother before she passed away, which is something we will always be grateful for. We have friends who were married a month before us and are still waiting on their photos, so this level of care and turnaround truly stood out. Looking through our photos feels like reliving the day with our favorite people, all the love, joy, and emotion captured so beautifully. If photography is a top priority for you, this is the team to book. We cannot recommend Original Weddings enough.

duled a 4pm ceremony—the weather was perfect, and cocktail hour was filled with stunning pinks and warm orange skies. I mention this because it makes my disappointment with this company, and especially the photography and editing, even more upsetting. Weddings are among the most expensive and meaningful events a person will host, and photos and videos are what you rely on to remember it. Be extremely careful who you trust with that responsibility. While I don’t want to condemn the entire company, the lead photographer assigned to our wedding, Felicia, was completely unqualified for the role, and that is where most of my frustration lies. To start, Felicia had to be reminded—by a friend of the bride—to take our flat lay photos. She had not done so on her own. The photos taken of me during hair and makeup were sloppy, unplanned, and showed a clear lack of effort. When compared to my husband’s getting-ready photos, taken by a second photographer, the difference was shocking. I understand men typically have more time once dressed, but my photos looked like random snapshots taken by someone uninterested or untrained. The portraits of me once fully dressed were just as bad. Meanwhile, my husband received four absolutely stunning, magazine-worthy portraits. I don’t have a single photo of comparable quality. (I included some photos for reference) After the ceremony, we moved into family and guest photos. While I understand the company states they are not responsible for organizing groups, the lead photographer provided zero direction or assistance. She didn’t attempt to get attention, guide positioning, or offer suggestions to make the photos balanced or flattering. She simply stood there waiting, wasting time. I ultimately stopped the guest photos entirely because of how ineffective this process was. Next were our couple’s portraits. The Hill Country provided breathtaking views—rolling hills, a river below, incredible depth and movement. Somehow, the photographer managed to position herself at an angle that made the entire background look flat and lifeless. The missed opportunity was almost laughable. Ironically, my husband’s younger sister captured videos and photos on her iPhone from just a few feet above and managed to showcase the stunning depth perfectly. (I included a photo for reference.) We were devastated when we received the final images. The editing made things worse. The sunset was completely washed out, turning a vibrant sky dull and gray. A person fluffing my veil was left in our portraits, and the company wanted to charge us extra to correct both issues—despite not allowing clients to edit their “intellectual property.” (I included photos for reference) Even worse, after taking group photos from a ladder, the photographer left a bright blue ladder in the background of all subsequent shots. How this was not noticed is beyond me. (I included a photo for reference) To top it off, our highlights video was delivered incomplete, displaying “PENDING MEDIA” in one section. The video itself was shaky, poorly framed, and overall subpar. While we will treasure the few good photos we received, our experience with this company—especially with our lead photographer—was deeply disappointing and upsetting.

One thing to note is that the original package does not include revisions, so a few scenes we felt less satisfied with were included in the final video. Overall, we appreciated Jonathan and the Originals team’s dedication and creativity, and the experience was a positive one.

We opted for the 4-12 weeks delivery and they delivered within 4 weeks on Christmas day which was a nice present! Overall was a great time with them and we are very happy with the photos and videos! 😄

Over 500 breathtaking photos were sent to us in our easy to use client portal. We can also send a guest link to our family members so they can download or print the photos they are in. Everyone was so helpful and the customer service from everyone we were in contact with was very impressive! Highly recommending to our friends as well.
