Pacific Hills Banquet and Catering

We have had nothing but a great experience with Rod and Pacific Bistro. Everything was accommodated and as we chose all our own vendors for our wedding, he was very helpful giving us extra options. Our wedding is in 2 days and we're both extermly excited. Thank you Rod and everyone at Pacific Bistro.

There is a guy called Rod, working here who makes things up and forces you to use his vendors and doesn’t allow any new vendors who might be hired by the customer. If you like to be limited with his unprofessional team, here is a venue you should choose for your event. Make sure before you sign a contract you have everything you want in writing otherwise you will be screwed in the deal he gives you.

I had my wedding here and its by far the worst place to have a wedding no hospitality at all, they are after is your money! I tried to lower my guest count and was told to take back my deposit and to take my business else were. The menu that was sold to us was for $53.95 per person and when it came time to sample our food they tried to pass us off a different menu with less food selection a good old bait and switch so they think you will forget what was on your original menu which was more in cost at $61.95per person. I asked for a wall to divide rooms and have two separate buffs and was told it was $1500 so i paid for that what i got on the day of the wedding was a wall and one buffet which was placed on the women's side and they opened the door from the men's side of the divider another bait and switch. Put every thing in detail they are crooks and good at stealing your money for services not provided and paid for. The service was horrific in a hot august month with the weather at 98 degrees out side and even hotter inside we had to tell them to turn on the air conditioner. The appetizers ran out and were only enough for 50 guest and when confronted to put more out more they said we ran out. The dinner was a joke they placed finger food on our plate no joke i have pictures which i will post of our wedding to show this later and add it to this post. desert was advertised as french pastry and cake what we got was some store bought cookies which was a lie and the cake was not served until we had to ask them to do so. When asked to bring water or soda to the tables they said they ran out, at this point i knew they were doing this on purpose. They mad us look like fools in-front of our guest and ran out of dinner will only placing finger food on peoples plates. How much is it for a bag of rice seriously these cheapskates are a joke i could have bought one for them my self out of all things to run low on. They did not even place naan which is bread and cheated us out of that as well. My guest thought they would have weddings their in the future but clearly they spelled it out cheap skates and no one should ever reserve this place, avoid a disaster don't ruin your special night. Also the owner called me two weeks before my wedding threatened me to cancel if i did not accept their new menu which had less items and said to me i smelled trouble from day one how rude is that my god if he believes in one who would do some thing so tasteless. No ethics here just pour treatment and good at cheating the customer. Pacific Hills was the BEST decision I made after saying "Yes" to my fiances proposal! I searched all over for a venue in Orange County and even LA but nothing felt as right as the moment I walked in this beautiful venue. It also was able to accommodate my guest count of 415 people! I had high hopes this would be our fit, and it definitely was. Meeting with Rod I just knew we would be taken care of. I'm very detail oriented and all my stresses slowly disappeared the more we discussed packages and coordination etc. we even got to meet the chef and have a tasting, we were blown away!!! Our wedding dish looked like a million bucks and tasted amazing. Everything was just as I imagined it would be, from the setup to the LED lighting, to the ambiance at the venue. Our guests complimented us all night on such an awesome wedding and it wouldn't have been possible without special attention to detail and professionalism from Rod and the staff at Pacific Hills!!
