Paper Princess by Melissa

Melissa is SO TALENTED!!! We used her to make our invitations for our wedding. She created the most beautiful wedding invitations! All of my family and friends said they were so stunning. She also works with your budget and makes the entire process so easy. She sat down with us and went over detail by detail all of our choices. I am so happy we used her for our beautiful invitations!!! I highly recommend Paper Princess by Melissa!!!!

I am only giving 2 stars as my invitations were beautiful, but if you want to be treated with respect, look elsewhere, because you will not get that from Melissa. When I arrived for my first appointment, I had to wait 45 minutes as she was running behind on her appointments. When I sat with her, she thanked me for my patience. Throughout the process at this point forward, Melissa was nearly impossible to get ahold of. She was always “on the phone with another bride” and would never schedule time to meet. It became increasingly stressful as time went on as I knew because of her long delays in responses, we were cutting it close to production time. Once the invitations were finally ready, she refused to set up time for me to pick them up, yet instead told me that she would let me know when she gets home. I asked her for an ETA and her email response was “I’m not home yet”. This was a Friday night, I cancelled my dinner plans, to wait around for Melissa to let me know when she got home. When I arrived, I parked in her driveway and her husband (not Melissa) came outside with my invitations. It was dark and cold out as it was late at night in February. Her husband then proceeded to show me how to assemble my invitations in the dark, using the trunk light of my car. It was an extremely poor experience and customer service. Now at this point, my friends and family couldn’t believe I wanted to go back to her for my menus. I had my heart set on having the same monogram on my menus to match the invitations. After I sent Melissa the details for my menu, it was 3 full business days with no answers to my questions, at which point I realized I couldn’t handle the additional stress so close to our wedding with her unresponsiveness, and therefore reached out to let her know that I did not want to move forward. She then immediately answered and asked that I call her. When I called, she told me that I needed to “exercise some patience” and stated “I don’t know what you do for a living or if you understand, but I don’t work Good Friday”. How incredibly disrespectful. This is how she treats her brides less than 3 weeks out from their wedding day. From bride to bride, if you want to be stress free and treated with respect, do NOT work with Melissa.

Melissa was the absolute best! She was so helpful throughout the entire process. She made it super easy going through the selections for our invitation bundle. She really works with the budget you give her and makes suggestions on what could be done to stay within it. The invitations were absolutely gorgeous and I've gotten compliments on how pretty they turned out! Turn around time, once you selected your designs, was pretty quick. I've recommended her to other friends and they say the same thing, Melissa is the amazing! Thank you so so much! :)

Melissa was a pleasure to work with! She knows her stuff and is very thorough. She was patient and updated the proof so many times until it was absolutely perfect! Everyone loves our invitations and I am so so happy with my one of a kind invites! She helped me stay within budget to create custom invitations that look way more expensive than they actually were. Melissa worked with us to create such a beautiful invitation. She made us part of the design process, which made them extra special. She worked with our budget and also offered insight on some beautiful finishing touches. We were so happy with the final result and got several compliments on them!

I had the best experience with Melissa! My sparkly but clean vision was captured perfectly! We even ran into a little bump with my original color being out of stock and Melissa made it work!! I loved working with her and I’m so happy she made everything so simple.

o I used Melissa with my invitations, and she did an amazing job! She was so professional over the phone and accommodating making new drafts of the invitations based on changes I wanted. She was timely with production and shipment and the product was beautiful!! When you give a budget, she can stay within that easily and make a beautiful invitation! She was very knowledgeable about what colors would look best and what finish of the invitation would be best. I definitely recommend Melissa!

We approached Melissa because we were on a tight budget and had no time to stress over wedding invites. She was absolutely fantastic to work with and most importantly, kept us on budget! An overwhelming number of our guests commented, “these are the fanciest most beautiful wedding invites we have ever seen” (they thought we spent a fortune). Additionally, we came back to print our programs and menus which came out beautiful as well. We are so grateful for how easy and efficient working with Melissa was it really helped bring our special day together.

Melissa was great from the start! We met her at the Wedding Expo and immediately fell in love with all her samples! The meeting was great! She was able to give me all options and it was easy and my invitations came out BEAUTIFUL! All my guest said it was the most beautiful invite compare to others! IT FELT GREAT! I have already recommended her to future brides!!

Melissa was phenomenal. We were recommended by my sister in law and could’ve have made a better decision. She kept our budget in mind throughout the entire process and was able to make the most stunning Save the Dates and then Invitations. People are still talking about how beautiful and elegant they were.

I don't even know where to start. Melissa is absolutely amazing! Her talent and creativity are remarkable. When my fiance and I went in for our appointment we were clueless as so what we wanted or anything about invites. She walked us through everything and helped us design the most beautiful invitations ever!! She is so so creative. She designed our dream invites! Originally we had planned to do the invitations ourselves online, but we met Melissa while at a bridal show and decided to schedule an appointment with her. Little did we know, invitations are very involved. There are many different options and our appointment lasted over an hour. Melissa offered us a more reasonable option to fit our budget (since some designs can get very expensive). You pay $10 upfront for the initial proof and are allowed unlimited edits. She was very patient with us and all of our changes. She offered to assemble at $1 per invitation. We were mailing 150 invitations, so we decided to do this part ourselves to save some money. She went over the steps with us and then we took home the pieces to assemble. It did take us about 6 hours altogether to complete, but it became fun for us and they turned out beautiful!

Melissa was best! We had custom passport invitations made and she designed our cover completely from scratch! We only had to pay $10 for the initial proof and then she kept updating it for me for free until it was perfect. The whole process took a month including getting the addresses printed on the envelopes.

Melissa really knows her stuff! The invitations came out really beautiful. We had a bit of a Dilemma with the invitations at first but that was quickly resolved with ease. We had the return address printed on the envelopes and they were a bit crooked on some of them. This was not a huge deal to me but might be for others. The only thing I didn’t like was that you had to pay upfront for sample proofs before you even decide if you are going to go with her. I wasn’t aware of this when meeting with her. Good thing I brought my checkbook to our initial meeting. Other than that beautiful work!

She made our 'Save-The -Dates' in person and helped us find the right design, since it was the only physical card we were mailing to our guests. She was super attentive in person and via email. It was delivered on time and ready to be sent out to everyone we love. Plus the quality on the photos on the save the dates were perfect.

Thank you to Melissa for making our beautiful invites the first sneak peek to our wedding! Although they were a bit time consuming, and yes we could have paid to have Melissa do them, they were worth it. We spent a bit more than we wanted to on invites, hence us putting them together. Melissa definitely knows her stuff and was on top of emails and meetings. I do think she schedules meetings a bit too close together, because we had to wait at times or at times people were waiting behind us, but she is very thorough!

My husband and I used Melissa to create our wedding invitations, save the dates, and so much more for our wedding! She was amazing. She spent so much time with us going through books and books of templates to help us create the design we wanted for everything. She hand crafted our invitations, which would have taken me days to do myself and they were beautiful. I received so many compliments! She also helped us come up with the little details that helped personalize our wedding such as custom napkins and ceremony programs. We would definitely recommend her for all of your wedding stationary needs!

I contacted Melissa at the recommendation of a coworker who had worked with her for her wedding...and I am so glad that I did! Melissa was extremely helpful in designing our wedding invitations. She was receptive to my suggestions and guided me in designing the most beautiful invitations to go with our farm wedding. We cannot thank you enough Melissa!!

It was such a pleasure to work with Melissa. She came highly recommended by my Fiancé's co worker. She had such great patience with my Fiancé and I and took her time to help us express ourselves through our wedding invites. She was very responsive, she worked around our schedule and responded within minutes to our emails. We also like how she worked within our budget. I definitely recommend her!

It took some vigilance on my part. Melissa is a sweetheart but we had to write everything down for her and even then I needed to check and double check everything to make sure she had accurately done everything. Our invitations were great as were the programs but it took multiple visits and emails to get everything done properly. It cost an extra $10 every time we needed a proof done, which was necessary for everything!
