Park Avenue Salon & Day Spa

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I chose the Park Ave Salon for my September 2015 wedding because I was looking for a one-stop-shop for all of our beauty needs: hair, nails and make-up. I was absolutely blown away by the service I received and it all started with my first contact with owner Stacey Cudzilo. She was professional but personable, super efficient and flexible. I could tell immediately that she was a person who got things DONE and that was exactly what I was looking for, especially because I was planning our wedding from France! She really went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. I had never been to the salon before, and as a biracial woman, I was a little nervous about getting my hair done in a place that doesn't specialize in black hair. Fortunately, they believe that a salon should be able to do any kind of hair and scheduled me with a competent stylist so I could get my hair done with the rest of my bridal party. Stacey made it clear from the beginning that she would take care of me whereas other salons I called treated my hair as a problem that they didn't know how to/want to deal with. I cannot adequately express how happy I was with the results of all the services we got. Everyone's nails looks flawless (thanks Andrea and Kim!) and the hairstyles provided by Brooke, Kinder and Loriann were stunning. I have to give an extra special shout-out to my hair stylist, Lily, who was able to incorporate the vision I had for my hair while staying true to her own style. The result was incredible, even more so because we didn't have a trial and she met me the day before the wedding. I felt completely confident in her abilities; she walked me through the process so that I was totally at ease. Bonnie did my make-up and I couldn't believe how great I looked. I don't ever wear make-up so I was nervous it would be really obvious, but she was able to subtly enhance my natural beauty and make me look fresh and happy, without covering up my freckles :) In addition to their obvious talents, the team at Park Ave Salon was amazingly friendly. I felt like I was hanging out with old friends! They really made the morning of my wedding such a fun and relaxing experience. We had a little corner upstairs just for us, so we could have bagels and mimosas while we waited, making for a really great atmosphere. I went to my wedding feeling like a million bucks. I cannot recommend this salon enough. I will definitely go back here the next time I'm in town. Thank you, Park Ave Salon and Spa! You ladies were AMAZING!!!!
