Best pastries in Baltimore hands down!! Sooo happy with how my wedding cake and dessert buffet turned out!

Patisserie Poupon is the best. Everything they make is delicious, so the hardest part was picking which cake to use, but they combined two of our favorite varieties into a beautiful 4-tiered wedding cake. My guests and even the caterers came up to me all evening to rave about how it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. Unique, beautiful and delicious - can't go wrong with them.

Kadeejah did a phenomenal job making sure my 4 tier wedding cake turned out just the way I envisioned. Not only did she entertain me once for a tasting, she also had me stop by twice to make sure the accent decor was exactly what I had in mind. This bakery doesn't have a series of hidden fees or confusing prices. You simply name the number of people you need to feed and that's it! I appreciated the friendly and accommodating attitudes of everyone at the bakery AND you can't find a better tasting cake in Baltimore. Multiple wedding guests have called to ask if we have any extra slices remaining. I will use Patisserie Poupoon whenever I need baked goods for future events!

Beautiful and delicious cake! We were a little disappointed the cake we picked (Royale) didn't have the hazelnut meringue on each piece of cake since that was what made us pick that flavor - but it was still delicious. We also had the bite sized desserts for our rehearsal dinner and they were a big hit. Their macaroons are also incredible and we gave those as a gift to our guests! We will definitely get more desserts from Patisserie Poupon in the future!

We got a small cake from here for cake cutting/photo purposes. It was delicious! We also got all of our desserts from here- little bite size assorted desserts. They were so good and people got to try a variety of desserts instead of just a piece of cake. I loved working with them!

We had the most delicious cake ever! It was beautiful and we got to choose 2 different flavors for our 5-tier wedding cake. They designed the outside of the cake based on our invitation and it was perfect! The flavors were amaaaaazing!

This bakery has a wonderful selection of cakes, all of which were absolutely delicious!! They will definitely make typical wedding cake flavors for you as well, but after the tasting, I was sold on their the French cake flavors! In terms of decoration, they executed my vision exactly and it looked beautiful! Very responsive and wonderful to work with! Highly recommend!!

Patisserie Poupon was excellent in every way. The tasting was amazing (sizable samples of each of their ~10 flavors). Each flavor is delicious and unique with layers of complexity. They were a joy to work with, accommodating to my requests for the design of the cake. Set-up and delivery was perfect. We received so many compliments on our dessert (we chose the Royale and Frasier flavors to go with our ice cream sundae bar). There really is no comparison in the Baltimore area.

The. Cake. Don't even bother going anywhere else. If you're looking for a wedding cake to die for, get it here. I can't say much about the decorations, since we went with a very simple design and had the florist add an arrangement of roses afterwards, but THE CAKE! We got the Royale (some ridiculous combination of chocolate, hazelnut, mousse, wafer, etc.) and Fraisier (strawberries and cream with sponge cake) and all our guests had at least two slices. Our only disappointment is that we didn't get a larger cake, as we didn't get any leftovers!

Enjoyed the tasting. We chose to get a sheet cake (instead of traditional tiered cake) because we were already getting cupcakes at the wedding. It was the most gorgeous sheet cake ever! It included flowers as well as a large bow/ribbon - both made of white chocolate, I think. The cake was light, distinct, and scrumptious.

We tried seven bakeries in Baltimore and Patisserie Poupon was the best by far. The royale and frasier were amazing and our guests loved the cake. M. Poupon also specially designed the cake to match my dress, and he met with me multiple times to get it right. The price was also a lot cheaper than Sugar Bakers, and we were able to get whatever we wanted for the decorations without adding to the price.

Patisserie Poupon was great! We did a tasting beforehand in order to decide on the perfect flavor combination for our guests. My husband enjoyed a variety of flavors while I devoured a beautifully decorated gluten free chocolate cake that was provided for myself and other guests with gluten allergies. The final product was amazing and our guests raved about the flavor. Thank you, Patisserie Poupon.

I love Patisserie Poupon cakes! (in fact I love everything there) I was not pleased with the decoration of our cake. I met with them and send them a picture of what I wanted but they did not get the concept. So make sure you meet with the baker and not the sales person. The cake was delicious but remember to be specific!

Patisserie Poupon had the most delicious cake I have ever tasted! They were very friendly and easy to work with. Great value for price. Only downfall is the cake was beautiful, yet did not look like what we discussed.

They have the best tasting cakes. Their cake artist copied my picture EXACTLY and hand painted the entire cake. Not only yummy but DELICIOUS.

I've been to countless weddings where the cake looked pretty, but had the taste and texture of flavored foam. Since we knew that wedding cakes were expensive no matter how they tasted, we wanted to have a good one that would be a suitable dessert. When we first went in to taste the cakes at Patisserie Poupon, they first brought us trays of amazing samples - not countless questions of what our "cake artistry vision" was. This was great, considering we wanted taste, not looks. Every flavor was divine, but we settled on the Frasier -- with strawberries in cream filling -- and the L'Orange -- almond cake with a Grand Marnier filling. They covered it with fondant and made us the beautiful and tasty wedding cake we wanted, with no extra charge for flowers or decorations. The cake was cut into generous slices and enjoyed by all. (This is in stark contrast to a wedding we went to last weekend where the cake was cut into tiny slivers and tasted like Play-Doh.) My biggest regret? That I did not get a piece of the Frasier -- except for the bites my husband and I fed each other at the cake cutting ceremony. Patisserie Poupon was a little more expensive than other bakeries we went to, but we got a truly delicious wedding cake, which made it worth it. Our cost with this review was for a cake to serve 140 people.

I had tried several different vendors that all made gorgeous cakes, but I didn't care how intricate or fancy a cake was if it tasted like it came out of a box. My wedding was only two months away and I was starting to get desperate when a girl at the bridal shop where I bought my dress mentioned that Poupon had baked a delicious cake for her wedding. I called them up, made an appointment for a tasting that same weekend, took one bite of their cake, and immediately made my decision. Poupon makes the best tasting cakes I've ever had in the U.S. They are a bit pricey, but if you want perfection you have to be willing to pay for it. The good thing is it's a fixed price regardless of what type of decoration you choose. I gave them one picture of the design I wanted on the icing, another picture of the fondant flowers I wanted, and mixed paint to show them exactly what colors to use, and when I finally saw the cake on my wedding day I still couldn't believe it was my cake! It was that perfect! I couldn't have been happier :)

Patisserie Poupon was recommended to me by a friend and we absolutely loved our cake! They offered us a tasting immediately and all of their cakes are delicious! We chose the Frasier and L'Orange flavors, and everyone at the wedding gave it rave reviews. They were extremely flexible about meeting with us. We brought in a few example pictures during our design appointment and they created a cake that looked amazing. It looked beautiful, much more than we ever expected!

Very easy to work with very nice. Came in special to make our cake. (Usually closed on January 2nd the day of my wedding) The wedding design was perfect (and included in the price of the cake).

Very helpful at cake tasting. Cake was excellent and decorated just the way I wanted. I combined one of their designs with a picture from a magazine and they did a beautiful job. The cake was so good, my husband and I didn't get a piece except for the small piece we fed ourselves for the camera...it was all gone!!!

They KNOW how to make great cake. I had guests comment afterwards that usually wedding cake they could take it or leave it, but they would've liked seconds on ours because it was so tasty. We had a Frasier cake, and it was delicious! It was pretty too, they did a nice job decorating it, we kept it simple, because that was what we preferred, but they can do elaborate if that's your preference too.
