Angie from Patricia's Boutique was a life saver! I am a mother of the bride and groom this summer (daughter & son getting married!) and needed two dresses, one quickly! I shopped all over Denver and then Colorado and came up with nothing! I looked all over on-line as well and I think inventory is very low in my size (10-12) because of COVID. I ended up ordering two dresses from Angie who spent hours looking for just the right size and details I requested (medium length sleeve, long dress, beaded detail.) She listening to everything I said, made valuable suggestions and mailed the dresses to me quickly.
I was exceptionally happy with her service, knowledge & attitude! Thank you Angie!
Patricia, Thank you for helping with all the Homecoming and Prom gowns through the years. Most recently, a flower girl dress and it is just darling. You are always so helpful. Love the “Boutique!!”
I had the most amazing experience at Patricia's this weekend. I have been looking for a veil to coordinate with the vintage dress (my mother's and mine) that my daughter is wearing for her upcoming wedding. Patricia and her staff went above and beyond with helping me to find the perfect veil. I was absolutely blown away by the customer service I received. In addition to veils, the store has a large selection of formal dresses (MOB), wedding dresses and jewelry. It was definitely worth the hour plus drive. I will be back and will highly recommend Patricia's to my friends and family!
The first thing I love about this place is the feel of tradition when you walk in. It's a small town family owned kinda place and you can feel it as soon as you arrive. The staff is overall helpful. Some reviews have mentioned that they come off snobby, but I didn't get that feel when dealing with Angie or my dress finder helper (I can't remember her name, but she's very sweet and soft spoken and patient. I can see how some people might get that impression from the two (I'm going to use the word older, only because they are older than Angie, but not because they are old ladies!), but I found them just more direct and if anything impatient vs. snobby. Price wise, it's the same at any actual bridal boutique you go to, but this place you don't feel like they are ripping you off. At least I didn't anyway - felt more like the price was fair compared to retail and that at the end of the day they have to make a profit as well. I tried going to David's Bridal and budget bridal stores, and I found that the staff there was far less helpful, far pushier, and you're still pay $$$ for a way less nicer/classier dress. So when I went to Patricia's it felt like a relief to be in the right kind of store with the right kind of attention for the right price. I'm not saying it's perfect - there was some miscommunication of when the bridesmaid dress orders were supposed to be placed, so they almost didn't arrive on time and I had to pay extra for rush shipping. And when my dress arrived, which I was measured for before it was ordered (that's just the way the dress maker required) it was clear that there was either a mistake made by the sales rep who measured me, or the dress company itself, because it fit like I had never been measured! And I did feel a bit rushed by the seamstress, Carmen (who for the record for the person who posted in an earlier review is LATINA, not European...), when I had my first fitting, but that was probably because she herself felt rushed by an overcrowded schedule. But it was all worth it because Patricia the owner agreed to pay to have the dress fixed at cost to the store (which I'm sure was pretty expensive for them!) and Carmen must be a magician because when I came to my second fitting my dress fit like a glove and was PERFECT. So overall, I'd say I had as positive an experience as one can when buying a wedding dress, and I'd highly recommend this boutique!!
They truly do not care about you at Patricia’s. They told me my dress had come in and wanted me to come in to try it on. I made an appointment to do so and drove an hour and a half to get there. When they pulled my dress out, it turned out they had ordered the wrong one. If they cared, they would have realized this as soon as it came in. I never tried on a dress that looked like the one they ordered (the dress they ordered was covered in lace and I tried on simple, satin gowns, so not even close). If they had looked at my file, they could have verified the style numbers. But they don’t care enough to either remember you or do a quick verification. After the dress turned out to be wrong, they then proceeded to make me wait 30 minutes to tell me they couldn’t do anything about it until the following Monday (keep in mind I had an appointment, but they were too busy to spend 3 minutes to tell me there was nothing they could do). Oh and the dress they should have ordered is now out of stock. Absolutely disgusting service.
I cannot day enough as to how beautiful I felt in my dress! They helped me find a wedding dress that was reasonably priced, unique, and absolutely stunning! It fit my body perfect! Alterations went smoothly and I was able to find a time that accommodated my schedule! So happy I found them!
I purchased my Mother of the Bride gown here. Staff is so helpful and knowledgeable that I had every confidence in my purchase. I even found the perfect pair of shoes. Thank you Patricia's for a great experience!
Patricia’s is hands down the best bridal boutique around. Very friendly staff, with a huge selection of dresses. With in 45 minutes I found my dream wedding dress! I will recommend them to everyone!
I worked with Nicole at Patricia's to find my perfect wedding dress and she was so amazing!! She was so helpful and listened to what I said I was looking for and picked out the most beautiful dresses for me to try on. Patricia came over and gave encouragement and was so sweet to my mother and I. She even made lunch reservations for us at a place down the street! These women made me feel so comfortable and I would recommend them to everyone!
I found Patricia's on The Knot and I couldn't be happier with our experience! My bridesmaids needed dresses right away as my wedding is only 3 months out and counting. They had a huge selection to chose from and the girls that work here that extremely knowledgeable and helpful in giving us different options. They offer tons of dresses by different designers and will definitely be recommending Patricia's to everyone. I'm even getting my wedding dress that I bought from a different store altered here now because I trust their business
Patricias is a hidden gem! They really make finding 'the dress' a wonderful experience, and so personal.
Loved the experience here. Small feel that helped create a more personal environment for me and my party. Nice selection of dresses to choose from. A little pricy, compared to other stores that carry the same dresses. The owner actually comes out and verifies your measurements so as to guarantee the best results when your dress comes in. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend going here.
I had no idea what style I wanted going in there other than I “wanted a pretty back”. The staff was amazing and had such patience with me. I left there buying the dress of my dreams!!
So happy I said yes to the dress at Patricia’s Boutique!! Truly the best customer service out of all of the bridal salons I visited. The girls really went above and beyond for me helping me to pick out my gown. Thank you to everybody at Patricia’s boutique for helping me with my special day!!
There are not enough words to tell you how much I love Patricia and her staff! From the first moment of my first appointment to picking up my gown, they have been awesome. They helped me pick my dream gown and all of the perfect accessories for it. Thank you to Patricia and her team for an amazing experience
I purchased my wedding dress from Patricia's. All of the girls that work in there are very friendly and helpful with the selection process. It is once in a lifetime and they definitely treat it that way. They also stored it for as long as I needed. Carmen who did the alterations took her time, met with me on my schedule, and her work was flawless. I ended up purchasing two dresses, one for the ceremony and one for the reception and they were able to do the alterations even on short notice. They are great to work with and I highly recommend them!
Dress arrived way before promised, alterations were perfect!
I bought my prom dress from here many years ago so I just had to go back for my wedding gown! Love this little boutique sooooooo much! Would highly recommend them to any Bride! They have a variety of price points and a variety of designers along with having alterations done in house. LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
I only went to two stores for dress shopping and the atmosphere was like night and day. The one place in Tampa made me feel so uncomfortable, I wasn't allowed to be in the room alone and I wasn't allowed to take any pictures. Patricias was so laid back and family friendly that I just knew I would have to get my dress there. The seamstress was fantastic for my fittings. Since my grandparents could not come to the wedding, Patricia let us bring a photographer and take pictures at my final fitting as well as letting me bring my 2nd dress (a vintage dress that was not purchased there) to try on and show my grandparents. This store may not be the biggest or fanciest but they have the best heart
Carmen, the seamstress, is a big asset to this vendor. She is sweet, and her work was phenomenal. Angie, the manager, is easy to work with and provided me good service. The girl who helped me find my dress (unfortunately, I do not remember her name), was kind and made me feel right at ease.
The room I tried on my gowns on was small. I was very HOT when I tried on my gown, but just assumed that it was because the gown was heavy and I was nervous. The service was great, though. I chose to have my bridesmaids get their dresses here, too because of the service I received.
On the shopping day for the bridesmaid dresses, the staff had overbooked appointments. There was a large party trying on dresses and they seemed to get the most attention. They practically ignored us. My sister-in-law, who is a size two seemed to get more attention than my sister who is heavy set. In fact, my sister was told that she could watch my sister-in-law try on dresses. I was so angry! My sister felt embarrassed. However, they had one or two dresses in my sisters size that she could try on. I chose the one my sister could try on because I could see what it looked like on her. The price was in their budget. My sister commented on the smelly dressing rooms after we left (I hadn't mentioned this to her prior to her trying on her dress).
After that, I called to find out when my dress would be in, and they told me it wasn't going to be in until a week or two before my wedding. That would have been almost 5 months, when I was promised 8-12 weeks. The bridesmaid dresses wouldn't come in until after that! Angie worked with the manufacturer's and got them to send the dresses early.
I had my first fitting and we, again, were sent to the back room. I was hot, and the dressing rooms really stunk. I wound up having to go into the way back room, which had no air movement. Carmen tried to work quickly to get the dress pinned for the hem.
I bought my veil off the rack, because they couldn't give me a date as to when it would come in had I purchased a brand new one (they did give me a small discount). I found the bridal jewelry for my sister and sister-in-law. I purchased them and was told I could pick it up when I did my final fitting because they only had the one set in. I was given the option to take the one out of the case and wait on the other one, but chose not to do that because I wanted new.
I did my final fitting, and same things. It was hot, musty and stinky in the dressing room. Then, when I went to get the jewelry, I found that no one had even ordered them!!!!!!!!! A MONTH had passed by in between my fitting, and final fitting. I had like a week or two to go before my wedding day, and that was the third thing that was then going to be late. I had it by this point and talked to Angie again. Angie promised me that they would get it in (they did).
On my wedding day, I kept smelling something. My mother insisted that it was the venue. After I took the dress off that night, both my husband and I smelled the dress and it was the dress. It smelled JUST like the dressing rooms.
While they had everything I wanted, and I was happy with the staff mentioned above, the follow-through left much to be desired. Overall it was not a BAD experience, but not a great experience, either. While I would not go as far as to tell someone not to shop here, I would also not go out of my way to recommend them.
All the girls were helping us with gowns. I didn't find the one I wanted so they ordered it special for me! They were great with the alterations and the dress turned out perfect!
I worked with Becky at Patticia's to re-invent my mother's wedding dress. Her creativity and bubbly personality made it a great experience. The have a unique collection of dresses and pageant jewelry. Shopping there is a great way to support a local business.
I chose Patricia's because I knew that I would buy my dress in the Tampa area, but I had heard so many good things about Patricia's that I decided to look there before going anywhere else. Becky and Angie knew exactly the style dress I wanted, but we didn't have enough time to special order a dress. They pulled every dress in the shop that they thought I might like. They were all beautiful! But then Becky found "The Dress"! It was exactly the elegant, not the typical wedding dress style I was looking for. And it was on sale! The gowns at Patricia's are all beautiful, but they have so many to choose from, but their staff works with you to get right to the perfect dress. They knew my price point and didn't try to push me over it at all. Shopping for my gown was such a nice experience. The alterations by Becky were perfect, too. Everyone keeps telling me how gorgeous my dress was, and how it was so "me". I wouldn't have found it anywhere else!
