Our on-site, award-winning team of master level professional hair and makeup artists specialize in weddings and special events. Our diverse team is made up of the most sought after artists in the bridal industry and work with all skin tones and hair textures. We can accommodate large parties. Services include bridal previews, hairstyling for the bride, bridal party and family members, Temptu silicone based airbrush foundation, faux lashes and reception touch up services. The team uses only high end cosmetics and are continually educated on the very latest in bridal hair and makeup techniques. Patty McGuire Hair and Makeup Arists is continually rated as being Chicago's premier bridal hair and makeup artists because of their commitment to education and excellence, as well as their unparalleled dedication to their brides. On-site wedding hair and makeup services must include a minimum of the bride plus six additional services. Junior bridesmaids and flower girls are not included in the minimum. The minimum number of services could include seven total hair services, seven total makeup services or any combination of a minimum of seven, including the bride. We can accomodate large wedding parties. Our touch up service includes a hair and makeup touch up for the entire bridal party before the reception begins. The absolute perfect pick me up after outdoor photos or a teary ceremony, everyone raves about this service. This is a great time to change up the look for the bride by adding a jeweled comb or flowers to her hair and a bolder lip color or gloss. We love doing mid-week hair and makeup services for engagement photos, black tie events or any other special occasion. Our by appointment only bridal preview space is located in Aurora, IL and we serve all of Chicago, the Chicagoland suburbs, as well as Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana. I can't recommend Patty and her team enough! Patty is so warm and kind, she really listened to what I was looking for, and made me feel so comfortable in my bridal trial, I was so excited to hire her for my wedding. Patty, Carolyn and Megan made getting ready for my wedding so stress free and fun. Patty did my hair and makeup and I felt like the best version of myself! Patty did my mom's hair and makeup too, and was so patient with my mom who is very picky about her hair. Carolyn and Megan were great with my bridal party and MIL, who all looked beautiful. And they did my groom's hair, which he loved, and it was perfect! It was such a wonderful experience to have such a talented and kind team whose entire goal was to make the day special for us - this warmth and kindness really kicked off the day with a special feeling that I will never forget.

Hiring Patty's team for my wedding is one of the best decisions I've ever made! I cannot express how happy I was with everything they did for us. They did 9 hair services and 5 makeup services, and they stayed completely on schedule. I have never felt so beautiful and all of my girls looked amazing as well! All of the artists were such kind, genuine, talented women who truly cared about me and my wedding day! Carolyn, the makeup artist, put body glitter on all of my girls, even the ones who didn't get their makeup done, and she helped my maid of honor put on my veil after my hair stylists had left. She truly went above and beyond! After our church ceremony we rode on a golf cart out into the golf course to take pictures, where it was very windy and drizzling. I expected to come inside and have to touch up my hair and makeup before my reception, but it truly looked like nothing had even happened. I didn't even need to add more powder or curl any of my hair! All of my bridesmaids were obsessed with their hair, and many of them are already saying they will be hiring Patty for their future weddings. I hope I get to have my hair and makeup done by them again as a bridesmaid!

Book Patty and her team!! Not only was I obsessed with my bridal hair and make up, but the entire team is so kind and attentive. They truly made my dream bridal look come to life, and the rest of my bridal party was just as happy with their looks. Cannot speak highly enough about Patty McGuire. We had absolute best time working with their team. The whole morning was relaxed and easy and organized and just genuinely so much fun. Truly felt like we were hanging out with friends, the entire team was so lovely including the stylists I hadn’t met prior to the day. I appreciated the ease of scheduling leading up to the event. I thought they were reasonably priced too compared to other vendors I spoke to or worked with in the past. And I truly felt like a queen, have never felt more beautiful in my life and It felt so genuine and true to me. Several of my bridesmaids said something to me along the lines of "I've been in a lot of weddings and I've never looked this good ever before." And I've had 2 people not even at the wedding book them since then based on how amazing everyone looked and how much everyone raved about the experience. One of the easiest decisions I made during wedding planning!!

Patty is the most amazing hair & makeup artist for your wedding day. From the start, everything is so easy, you don’t have to worry about a thing! They will email you exactly when everything needs to be done so you don’t even have to think about it yourself. The trial is the best, as I really got to know Patty & felt so confident with her skills. She really is the most talented & kind person. On the wedding day everything went so smooth because of her, even with how nervous I was, she would talk about things to ease my nerves. I highly recommend the touch-up service as she will be there right after the ceremony to touch up everyone’s hair & makeup, it was 100% worth the extra fee. Everyone in my bridal party adored her & her team. I would recommend Patty to everyone!

Patty is an excellent salon owner who did a fabulous job setting up the day before and the morning of the wedding. She even allowed us to drop off stuff the day before to make the next morning such a breeze! She hired wonderful and nice staff to do hair and makeup, and we received so many compliments from guests at the wedding on how beautiful everyone looked! I would highly recommend this bridal salon to future brides with their bridal party. We were able to go to the salon the day after the wedding in case we left any personal items behind. Patty came highly recommended by a friend in the business and we would hire her again instantly! She also offers other bridal services such as massage, wax, and air spray tan. I received a wax service and spray tan trial and loved everyone that I met and had a great experience!! If you don't hire Patty McGuire, you'll regret it!

I was SO HAPPY we went with Patty McGuire Hair and Makeup for bride and bridal party makeup. From the make up and hair trial to the day of, Carolyn and Megan were absolutely amazing and so personable. They also took the time to really understand what I was looking for and made sure I was happy with the end product. On the day of the wedding, my bridesmaids and Mom absolutely LOVED their experience. It was so much fun!! Megan and Carolyn listened to everyone's very different preferences and executed flawlessly. I feel very lucky we had such a great team hanging with us and they were such a joy to have in the bridal suite! The ladies at Patty McGuire are absoutely amazing and I can't imagine my wedding morning without them! From the day of my trial I felt so comfortable with Brittany (lead hair) and Carolyn (lead make up)- they had such good energy and made it feel like they were your long last friends! I've never felt more beautiful as a bride than with Patty and her team. Patty is both personable to chat with and incredibly knowledgeable about her craft. At my bridal trial, she spent 2 hours perfecting my look and seeking approval each step of the way. Even after we completed my makeup, she sat me back in the chair to find a better lip color. As a minimal daily makeup connoisseur, I found this attention to detail amazing. Her team was funny and social the entire trial, as well. The day of my wedding started off with a text from Patty the night before! So sweet to know your makeup team is thinking about you. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup, especially the airbrush foundation. Patty and her team held to the outlined schedule. We added on a touch up service, which was so helpful after being rained on in the afternoon. Patty herself stayed for the services and helped me fix my veil and hair for the evening, too. I cannot recommend Patty and her team enough!

One of the girls stayed after just to see me get into my dress and see my bridesmaids reaction to the first look. They are an incredible company and truly make you feel so valued and special. My hair and makeup artists were wonderful. We had a large bridal party so there were 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists, they were very busy. But the hair and makeup was stunning. The hairstyles lasted the whole night and the makeup didn’t look too thick/cakey. Shout out to Karen and Nicole who did my makeup and hair respectively, they were so much fun to work with and did a great job.

The process of booking for the day of my wedding was so smooth and Veronica, Patty, and the whole team are very communicative and prompt to respond throughout the entire process. If you are looking for hair/makeup artists for your wedding day, Patty McGuire is the place to go. For my wedding day I had Julia, Zalina, and Nicole. All 3 were absolutely amazing. Julia and Zalina were able to capture my inspiration and absolutely made me feel beautiful. All of my bridesmaids had an excellent experience as well. I definitely appreciated all of their calmness towards the end went things started to get overwhelming with the timeline of our pictures as they got everyone ready. I also would highly suggest booking the touch up service. This was great to have after being in the sun/wind for pictures and our ceremony to go back in and get refreshed before the reception.

We hired Patty McGuire after reading her outstanding reviews and also after seeing her wonderful work at another wedding. I was so impressed from my first interaction with Patty. I had a lot of questions (mostly about hygiene as I am super cautious about the sharing of makeup and it concerned me.) I instantly loved her responses as she and her team totally understand the importance of safe makeup practices. The day my daughter & I went for our makeup trial was literally one of the most special days. Patty truly made us feel so pampered and it was so FUN! Patty made sure that we were pleased with the results showing us as each part was complete. She took her time making sure everything was perfect! At one point, she looked back after my daughter was done and said "We need to adjust your lip color." I LOVED that. It showed me she truly cared about every part of my daughter's look and was truly looking at her...not just getting "the job done". Patty is truly passionate, caring, knowledgeable and dedicated to her clients. The day of my daughter's wedding Patty and her staff arrived on time with all of their equipment and were absolutely amazing. Every bridesmaids looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL. My niece who has been in MANY weddings said it was literally the first time she loved how her hair and makeup looked when done by a hired makeup team. My daughter looked GORGEOUS. What I loved is that she still looked like her self! The makeup looked so natural not just layered on. We received so many compliments on how everyone looked. I also LOVED my makeup. Patty truly cares about her clients. She was so calming on what can be a stressful (although exciting) day! She and her team felt like "family" the morning of the wedding. We hired Patty to do touch ups after outside photos which was definitely a wise decision! Patty made sure everyone looked radiant again, taking the time to touch up hair and makeup. Wedding planning and finding vendors who you know you can trust and make your day "perfect" is stressful especially with something as important as hair and make-up. So thankful for the Patty McGuire team. Whole originally hired for just makeup, I had a hair stylist drop out and needed help! Without hesitation, hair was added into my package and I didn’t even blink an eye! Didn’t even have time to stress about it! The whole team was so receptive to feedback and really did everything the right way to make sure all of us (bride, bridesmaids and moms) were comfortable. We all looked like ourselves, but elevated. My hair and makeup artists for my wedding were Megan, Cindy, and Karen. They were super fun and energetic on the morning of the wedding! I truly think they enjoyed talking with us just as much as we enjoying talking with them. They did a great job with my and seven bridesmaid’s hair and makeup. They did a great job of looking at my inspiration and elevating it to something that was best for me - it felt like a collaborative process both at the trial and on the day of. I was most impressed with their work with my bridal party - we had girls representing many different hair types and skin colors, and they did a great job with everyone! Additionally, the entire morning we were always slightly ahead of schedule, which really put me at ease. I’m really happy that we decided to book them for our wedding.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. After extensive research I decided to go with Patty McGuire hair and makeup for my wedding day. You will not find someone who is more dedicated and passionate about making you look flawless on your big day. Everyone is so organized and Veronica in the office is a saint for dealing with all of my e-mails and changes. When it came to the day to come to my trial I fell in love even more so with my decision to go with Patty. Carolyn and Brittany were my hair and makeup professionals and we instantly bonded, I knew I was in the most perfect hands for my big day. For the big day they were the most down to earth, chill, and meticulous to make sure I looked perfect! It was so nice to have a perfect morning before walking down the aisle. This company is so exceptional. The team was so friendly, and professional. I have sensitive skin (a lot of limitations with the products I can use) and I had no reaction or problem with their product, also I have some dark spots and wanted to be covered without looking too heavy in make up and they achieved that. They took care of my bridesmaid hair and makeup too, mother of the groom and a couple of other people and everything ran so smooth and with no delay, I was ready by 2:30 pm and with all the dancing I can say at 3 am my hair and makeup was still intact! They went beyond their service and I am so grateful with this team.

Where do I begin... Patty McGuire and her team are absolutely exceptional. We worked with Patty (bridal make-up/touch ups), Megan (hair), Kelly (make-up), and Nicole (hair/make-up). Megan did my hair and I was obsessed from the day of my trial on! She took feedback so well and worked hard on the day of the trial to make sure my hair looked exactly like what I had envisioned. My hair was down in loose curls, which can be hard to hold up, but they lasted the entire day of my trial! On the day of my wedding, I ended up going with even looser curls, and Megan created perfection again! She also did hair for members of my bridal party and they looked incredible. Kelly and Nicole worked with my bridal party, who all looked stunning on the wedding day! They made the set up and take down process in our hotel room a breeze on the day of and were so wonderful to work with - very friendly and easygoing. Now, I really have to extend a huge thank you to Patty herself. I ended up switching my make-up artist from my trial and Patty stepped in to do my make-up. She spent so much time with me on the day of the trial to make sure I was happy with each step of the process- which means a lot to someone who wears make-up but hasn't ever really had it professionally done before. On the day of my wedding, she was scheduled to do my make-up and then our wedding party touch-ups after the ceremony. She ended up staying to do my mom's eyelashes and continued to touch up my make-up once the pictures began at our hotel, going above and beyond what was expected of her to make sure that we all looked and felt beautiful. Patty arrived before the ceremony and actually began touch ups then, even though she wasn't scheduled to start that until after the ceremony. She truly has a passion for what she does, and I am so, so grateful for all the incredible work she did for me and my wedding party on the wedding day! I felt absolutely stunning and like I always dreamed of looking/feeling on my wedding day. I would HIGHLY recommend Patty McGuire Hair and Makeup Artists. Patty runs her company with passion and integrity. She is extremely communicative and approachable and always made herself available if I had questions or concerns. Patty McGuire Hair & Makeup Artists did AMAZING work for my wedding!! Sarah did my makeup and Brittany did my hair and they are truly ARTISTS. I felt like a princess the day of, and when I first saw the photos, every other one I said "OMG I'm beautiful?!?!?" The artist who was supposed to do my hair and did my trial got COVID a few days before the wedding, so Brittany was subbed in and knocked it out of the park with the hair of my dreams!!! Sarah does amazing work and she has such a great sense of humor I want her to be my friend in real life. I also have the highest praise for Megan P who was so patient with my 4yo flower girl who asked for "whatever is quickest" for her hair LOL. I cannot recommend these ladies enough!

I found Patty McGuire through The Knot and I am so glad I did. I recently got married on 12/16 and Brittany and her team of artists truly made me feel like an absolute princess on my wedding day. We cannot say enough positive and wonderful things about Patty and her team! Wow, what incredible artists and such kind and caring people. Patty took such great care with my entire bridal look and also went above and beyond for my mom to make sure we looked and felt our best for the wedding day. I felt so calm and confident with Patty and her team and felt they cared just as much (if not more) as we did about the success of the day. Everyone's hair and makeup looked absolutely phenomenal and I was blown away that Patty personally stayed for the touch-ups later in the day. We highly recommend them for your wedding glam squad!

I was really nervous about my hair and makeup, because I've had a number of really bad experiences in the past. But I had nothing to fear. Lauren, Sarah, and Maddie were AMAZING! Upbeat, kind, hyped us all up, laughed and made the day fun, were just amazingly lovely people AND did a FANTASTIC job on our hair and makeup. After all the festivities were over, I looked in the mirror and marveled that I *STILL* looked great!

Booking Patty McGuire and her team is the best decision you could make for your wedding. We worked with Megan P. for hair and Cindy for makeup and they are true artists. When I had my bridal trial and I turned around to see the finished look in the mirror, I teared up because I looked exactly how I always pictured myself to look on my wedding day. Both Megan and Cindy vibed with my whole bridal party and made our getting ready time the morning of the wedding so fun and relaxed. I had services for seven—myself, 3 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 1 flower girl—and everyone was enamored with their looks. I can’t even put into words how amazing Patty’s girls are, especially Cindy. To start, communication, scheduling and the contract were so easy to initiate with their company. They made it really easy to ensure that everything I wanted was clear cut and to the point. When I went in for my trial, I really had no clue on what I wanted. I’m not a big make up person, I just keep it easy and to the point and I told Cindy (my make up artist) what I wanted and she was able to give that to me! I LOVED my make up on my trial day. What I appreciated the most was that Cindy wanted my feedback on what she could do differently for wedding day. She wanted me to wear my make up all day and then reach out to her after to see what we could do better next time. This is amazing in itself because I knew she was willing to listen to me and correct whatever I wanted. Fast forward to wedding day. I had 2 make up artists, and they started early, which I appreciated. They were timely and willing to touch up the girls as the day went on. When it came down to my make up, Cindy went ALL OUT. She had done my make up better than I could even imagine. I started crying when I saw the final product because she applied all the corrections we talked about and I felt listened to. I couldn’t thank Cindy enough. She made me look so beautiful on my wedding day and my husband was in awe because even though I had all this make up on, I still looked like me. I couldn’t thank Cindy any more, I could hug her 100x over!! Not only are Cindy’s make up skills amazing but her personality is even better. She made me feel so comfortable. I would recommend Patty’s company/services and I would 100% recommend Cindy to do your make up. Thank you again!! :)

All of the hair/makeup stylists did an incredible job on the bridal party! They were spot on with inspiration pictures and were flexible with adjusting things as well! Briana was our lead makeup and Megan was our lead hair, and they crushed it. So happy with our choice for our wedding!

I really cannot say enough about Patty McGuire and all of the artists within this company! We met Patty, Rabecca and some other wonderful artists at my twin sister’s wedding and immediately knew having these awesome and talented women on our day was a necessity. Their work and talent speaks for itself and is evident in all of the pictures they post/are tagged in. Even more though is that every single woman that we have met and I imagine works for this company, are fantastic people and just plain cool to be around. My family (and myself) insisted upon having Rabecca with us again this year and rightfully so. She makes your day so much more fun, she contributes so fantastically to the “vibe” of the day, her makeup art is unmatched, and she is truly just a light to be around. Janet did my hair for my trial and big day and she is just an all around awesome human. So incredibly talented and such a down to earth person that again just adds to the vibe of your day. Every single woman that has been a part of both my sister and my day have been incredible. We had a group of roughly 13 women in both wedding parties and every bridesmaid/mother/grandmother raved about their artists’ talent and personality. Patty took the time to send a personal text the night before my wedding to share how excited she was and happy she was for me. The talent that these artists possess is immeasurable and who they are as people goes even beyond that. You absolutely need them to be a part of your big day!

Patty and her team, Natalie, Carolyn, and Brittany were a dream to work with on my wedding day. They created a timeline for all 10 women we had to get ready and everyone was finished in time for photos to start. Natalie did my (bride) hair and makeup and it was better than I ever imagined - I looked gorgeous all day long and every hair and eyelash stayed in place, even through happy tears! Would highly recommend!

It was a delight to work with Patty and her team. Marissa and Janet were the team members assigned to the day. Both very talented and skillfully styled the hair of 11 people of varying hair types (from long and thick curls to very fine short and straight) and ages (from 16 to 64). Everyone’s hair looked beautiful and stayed in place throughout the day. Marissa did my hair and consistently checked to make sure I was loving my look throughout my trial and wedding day. From our first interaction, I was impressed at Patty’s customer service. After I reached out to her on the Knot, she quickly replied and soon after we were speaking on the phone. She thoroughly described her team’s philosophy and inquired about my style and vision for the day. Veronica, the scheduling assistant, was also very organized and quick to respond when I had questions or needed to update schedule or lineup. It’s evident that Patty and her team have been in this business for a long time and are true professionals. You will be in GREAT hands if you work with this group!

The Patty McGuire team was a joy to work with before our wedding day and the day of. I had 8 people getting hair and makeup done and everything went very smoothly thanks to the schedule the team helped create. Most importantly, some members of the bridal party had never had their hair/makeup professionally done before but the Patty McGuire team made them feel right at ease! In fact, all the bridesmaids said that the entire process was stress free and that they loved how they ended up looking. I absolutely loved my experience working with Patty McGuire MUA! From the very first communication, Patty and her team were very informative, transparent, and helpful about all services, pricing and details. For anyone planning a wedding, that level of communication is an absolute must! The team was extremely communicative throughout the entire planning process. I was lucky enough to work with Julia for hair, and Cindy for makeup. From my hair and makeup trial, I knew these ladies were absolutely amazing, and yet they exceeded my expectations! Julia was able to flawlessly recreate hair looks based on a quick glance of a reference photo. Cindy asked each girl (my sisters, mom and MIL) in the wedding party what their makeup must-haves were to make sure everyone was comfortable, and built on from there. Both Julia and Cindy were so accommodating and willing to make any changes myself and the girls asked for to ensure we felt comfortable and beautiful. We all absolutely adored working with those two lovely ladies!

Patty made me feel incredibly comfortable and was thorough in the trial to make sure I got the exact look I wanted. It was perfect! When the day came, she came prepared (and was kind enough to travel 5 hours to me!) and somehow managed to make my hair and makeup look even more incredible than the trial.
