We hired People’s Flower Shop on Candelaria to provide flowers for our wedding. We purchased bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, a flower girl crown, and loose cake flowers. The flowers were beautiful and fresh and the prices were very reasonable. I made changes to the order multiple times in the month leading up to the wedding. The staff members who assisted me were friendly, helpful. professional, and patient. I will continue to use People’s for my flower needs and would recommend them for weddings and other events.
William at People's Flowers created a gorgeous bouquet for my wedding day. I also requested he incorporate peacock feathers, which he did beautifully! He also attached my memorial charm for my dad along with ribbon wrapping that was beautiful and pristine! He is very creative!
We ordered a bulk Babie's Breath for our wedding for the centerpieces and bridesmaid bouquets. They had excellent prices and worked with you to make sure you had the proper amount. We also ordered 2 arch pieces, and they looked phenomenal! Everything was super easy and straight forward.
Cindy at People’s Flowers on Montgomery did an absolutely spectacular job with my cascading wedding bouquet! I had beautiful stargazer lilies in November, and everything else was exactly as we discussed. It was just perfect!
Rosalie and Cindy from the Montgomery location did such a wonderful job putting together our bouquets, corsages, and center pieces for my wedding. Everything turned out amazingly beautiful, better than I even pictured in my head. They were very professional and always there to answer (my millions of) questions.
The wedding sales rep was great to work with in the beginning but when I went to drop the vases he did not remember who I was or that my wedding was in four days!! I kept my calm and he eventually found my file and ensured me that everything would be as he promised. When the day came, my bouquet was gorgeous and was exactly what I wanted. the corsages and boutonnieres were also beautiful and looked so good on out parents and siblings. The centerpieces were also beautiful. Overall, it was a good turnout, pricy, but good.
I had gone in to order my flowers and had a great conversation about what I wanted for my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets. On the day of when I finally received them, I was not pleased. First of all, they were supposed to be delivered to me but were instead delivered to the reception site. When I realized how late they were, I called and was told they didn't even know where my flowers were ( this is 30 minutes before my ceremony is supposed to begin) and the man who talked to me was extremely rude and told me he was going to have to figure out where they were. When I finally got them, they were yellow! I hate yellow to begin with, and I felt like none of the bouquets matched. They were very pretty, just absolutely not at all what I had talked to the person about when I ordered them.
Peoples did such an amazing job with my flowers. I originally met a designer with vague descriptions and a few images from Pinterest, and she was able to translate my mixed notes in to exactly what I wanted and an amazingly beautiful display. From the ceremony arbor, centerpieces, aisle displays, bouquets and boutonnieres -- I could not be happier. I definitely recommend Peoples!
After some miscommunication with scheduling a consult, the staff proved to be friendly and understanding of my ideas. Arrangements were perfect and it was the best price and value I found. Definitely recommended!
Debbie at People's flowers downtown really listened to my vision of how I wanted my wedding flowers. The finished product blew me away. The flower arrangements and bouquets were more beautiful than what I could have ever imagined. Debbie kept me in the loop about anything having to do with the flowers. She did an awesome job!
I was very happy to find this company at a bridal show and hear that they could design arrangements that I was interested in. Since I live out of town I had been exchanging emails with one of the consultants, but after I sent pictures of the flowers I liked communication stopped. I did not realize this is the same company as Savon flowers and did end up working with them for my wedding, but was disappointed in followthrough with my particular consultant. Working directly with Melissa at the store was easy and the flowers did come out beautifully.
I had Debbie Lopez at the Peoples Flowers downtown do the flowers for my wedding and they were absolutely beautiful. She delivered and set them all up as well and everything was perfect. They are by far the best florist in town.
I was able to work with the florist to get what I wanted. We were also able to get some of the reception decorations from them. I took in pictures and had a special vase for altar flowers. I only wish they would have given me some suggestions for preserving my flowers. But, I did come in under budget and got exactly what I wanted.
For our destination wedding I picked up my bouquet the morning of our wedding. Working with the florist I had a bouquet in hand within 20 minutes of walking into the shop. The florist did a fabulous job creating a bouquet with the flowers I wanted and within my budget of $25. I got such great compliments on it too!
Peoples Flowers was amazing. They struck the perfect balance of listening to what we wanted and recommending the best option based on their professional expertise. Everything came out beautiful and just as we wanted.
They worked with my mom to get everything arranged. They even took a last minute request for an extra corsage. Very friendly, and everything turned out better than I imagined!
We used the Save On flowers at the main branch of Peoples Flowers on Central Ave. and Candaleria in Albuquerque. The sales people were very in tune to what we wanted in the flowers. We made several changes leading up to our wedding day, and they went out of their way to make sure we got what we wanted. We ended up getting beautiful center pieces with great attention to detail, a beautiful swag. We picked up the flowers on our own, and our boutonnieres were labeled, everything was packed for easy delivery, and the loose flowers we ordered to do some smaller arrangements our selves were beautiful and in a bucket for easy transport. I can't even count the compliments that we got on our flowers, especially the boutonnieres and bouquet. We were so impressed!
I recieved a card from People's Flowers in my mailbox soon after I started planning the big day! On the day of our appointment I was overwhelmed but the folks were so kind and responsive to my different ideas I felt more at ease. I wanted a very specific color of calla lilly for my bouquet, they couldn't locate it at first but insured me that even if that had to order it special from Holland they would ensure it would be in bouquet. On the day of the wedding I was simply blown away at the arrangements and the fact that they got the exact calla lilly! They are such an easy florist to work with I will use them again for my other floral needs.
I ordered very few flowers, I did not have a wedding party. My boutonnieres were perfect - that was it!
I ordered wrist corsages and got corsages that were pin only - I lived.
I asked for 12 loose white tulips (I did something different for by bouquet)The tulips were maybe 1 inch tall and 3/4 inches around. What??? There were aweful, not what I was expecting at all.
My husband and I looked at several florists in the Albuquerque area and decided to go with Peoples because their staff was very friendly, and they were the least expensive. The staff was able to order in some sample flowers for us to show us what some of the bouquets would look like. Everything seemed to be going well until the day of the wedding. We were told that the florist that delivered the flowers would put the boutonnieres on the men and the corsages on the ladies. Instead, the delivery person just handed my mom a bunch of boxes with boutonnieres and corsages. The flowers weren't labeled, and we had a very hard time figuring out who's boutonniere or corsage was who's. Second, the center pieces we paid for were supposed to be 6x6 cubes with a light buried in the rocks at the bottom. The center pieces they delivered were 4x4 cubes, and the light was sitting on top of the rocks instead of buried in them. My husband spent an hour burying the lights. Plus, a few of the cubes were broken when they were delivered! And last, I had specifically told the florist we were working with that I did not want roses. 2 out of my 3 bridesmaids bouquets had roses in them! Overall, I would not recommend Peoples unless you aren't too picky about getting exactly what you order.
