It was so special to have a trolley for my wedding! They were responsive and attentive to all our transportation needs (cars, trolleys, and all), and the trolley driver took my husband and I (and our bridal party) all over the city to take amazing pictures after the ceremony. Definitely recommend!

I reserved a white trolley for our wedding, and I can't thank Philadelphia Trolley Works enough for their efforts and hospitality. The trolley experience was enjoyed by all (our photo/video team, bridal party, & our parents), and our driver made it even better. He was responsive by phone, incredibly helpful with loading/unloading of passengers, and he made sure no cars were coming to ensure our safety. He even went above & beyond by making an extra lap at my request to drop off our parents and grandparents at the reception while we finished pictures before coming back to get my wife and I. Highly recommend.

We hired PTW after being recommended to do so by our wedding planner. From the start they were easy to work with. They talked us through pricing and worked a schedule and budget out that was perfect for our day! They arrived early to pick up my husband and the groomsmen, waited for them to be ready, and dropped them off to get the girls on time as well! Our timeline moved seamlessly thanks in part to their timeliness. Our driver was the sweetest and the trolley was beautiful, clean, and fun!!! Highly recommend for Philly/DE weddings!

We loved working with Tyrone, Kathleen and the entire Philly Trolley works team! They were responsive and organized from the start and never missed a beat. Even further, they made it easy for family members in wheel chairs to get on and off of the trolleys. We chose the white wedding trolley for our wedding and it was so gorgeous! It was fun and stress free to take the trolley to and from the church and have the whole bridal party together! I reached out to the Philadelphia Trolley Works January 2020 for our originally planned wedding in October 2020, but because of Covid, we rescheduled for October 2021. If there is anything I’ve learned about the wedding planning process, it's how vendors handled Covid weddings, and they did not disappoint. I mostly dealt with Ray and Tyrone, and they were extremely flexible and understanding from the beginning. On the day of the wedding, the trolley was timely and took us to various locations throughout the city. In fact, our driver was so flexible we changed our planned schedule because of Philly traffic. He made sure the bridal party and guests arrived at the venue on time. We truly had a good experience and the process was seamless. If you're looking for a reliable and professional service, book with Philadelphia Trolley Works.

Had a fantastic experience working with Philadelphia Trolleyworks. Leading to the event Tyrone was the main contact who was very responsive and informative. He had given us a variety of options and helped us narrow down what we needed for our wedding. Would definitely recommend.

We hired PTW to pick up the wedding party from our AirBnB, drive us to the church, then drive us to the reception after the ceremony. They were so easy to work with ahead of time, and our driver was AMAZING. I thought they did an excellent job coordinating what was a pretty complicated transportation plan, and even got us everywhere on time despite the Philadelphia Marathon and an Eagles Game happening on the same day! I was very happy with their service and highly recommend them.

We used PTW to shuttle the bridal party to and from the church & reception location for our wedding. First the trolley was prompt and even early for arrival, approx 1 hr before the contracted time. We changed last minute and added a trip so the guys could get to the church early. The driver was great with helping the girls on, holding flowers and even played us music on the way to reception...with everything else we completely forgot to think of this but so glad she did! She also maneuvered a small circle driveway like a pro! Ray, our point of contact leading up to the day was also great with answering all my questions and double checking everything multiple times. Really great service all around.

The easiest and most pleasant wedding vendor that we dealt with. I spoke with Tyrone multiple times throughout the year due to changing our date 3 times because of COVID. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. I couldn't imagine a better experience and then we met Vince, the driver. He took the time in the morning to do a dry run of the route before he picked up the groom and groomsman. He was very patient and pleasant. We booked our wedding trolley with Philadelphia Trolley Works and we were so happy with the service we were provided. Our trolley took our bridal party, parents, and my husband and I to our church ceremony, then around for pictures, and then to our reception. We price out several local trolley companies and Phila. Trolley Works was by far the most affordable. We worked with Ray to book our trolley and go over the locations and timing of everything on our wedding day and he was so great to work with and always got back to me very quickly. I had to make changes a few times leading up to our day for different reasons and Ray was so accommodating. Our driver was so friendly and helpful the day of our wedding! There was some confusion on one of our locations for photos between our photographer and I but our driver was so easy going and happily got us where we needed to be. The trolley was in great condition and really made our day special. I would highly recommend Philadelphia Trolley Works to anyone looking for a trolley for a special occasion, especially for their wedding.

Philadelphia Trolley Works provided such a fun way to travel around our city taking pictures of various locations. Our driver was friendly, flexible, patient, and genuinely added to the whole experience. Philadelphia Trolley Works was easy to book, work with, and everything went perfectly as planned. Book them!

We used Philly Trolley for our guest transportation on our wedding day - we needed transportation for guests from our hotel to the ceremony, and then the ceremony to the reception, which was just 1/4 of a mile down the street. We worked with Tyrone throughout the process, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He answered all of my questions, and when I wasn't sure whether we would need 1 or 2 guest buses, he reserved 2 for me, and the week of the wedding when we determined we needed 2, there was no issue in being able to have both. We had the buses pick up guests at our hotel, transport them to the church, wait during the ceremony, and then make shuttle trips back and forth from the church to the reception (which were very close) until all our guests were dropped off at our reception. I put my two brother-in-laws in charge of overseeing the guest transportation, and they said the drivers were great, buses were clean and on time. Overall, everything with Philly Trolley works went super smoothly, and I can't recommend working with them and Tyrone more!

We used Philadelphia Trolley Works to transport our guests to and from our wedding reception. The bus was always on-time and everything went smoothly!

Don't book this company unless you're willing to be late to your own wedding. The driver (who is still employed by the company?!) was late picking up the groomsmen, drove into someone's yard and got stuck with all the groomsmen on board, couldn't pay a towing company because he had no money on him, and proceeded to pick me and my bridesmaids up 30 minutes late for my own wedding. I missed doing a "first look" with my dad, we had to pay our church a $200 late fee, and the company refused to negotiate a reasonable settlement, claiming their original offer was "fair and agreed upon". Aside from being a complete disappointment in terms of their operations on the day of the wedding, Ray was unreasonable in claiming the "only other option" we had was to raise a court case. This company has no respect for the importance of your special day and will certainly let you down.

We've heard nothing but great things about Philly Trolley Works and they did not disappoint! From first contact, Molly was helpful and informative and got us set up with a medium sized bus and trolley for our day. They arrived at the Hotel Monaco on time and proceeded to shuttle all of our guests to and from Old St. Mary's church. The trolley was perfect for our bridal party and made driving around the city for 3 hours for pictures a breeze! Would definitely recommend them to any other couples looking for transportation!!

Philadelphia Trolley Company provides excellent shuttle service for our wedding guests from the hotel to the venue. They were flexible with letting us book a small shuttle for most of the day to first transport the bridal party and later shuttle the guests. Tyrone was very responsive and adjusted our schedule/contact as many times as needed to accommodate my changing mind :) Bus and shuttle were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Aweosme!!!! We used them for our wedding day transportation and they were able to help us get set up two trolleys to two different locations. They called two weeks before the wedding to confirm everything and even two days before! Very professional with great customer service!

We booked Philadelphia Trolley works for our 7/28 wedding. We had a large wedding and needed transportation for a lot of people. We were in communication with Tyrone, who was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process. He was able to figure out the most logical and affordable way to schedule the busses. When we needed to make last minute changes, he went above and beyond in meeting our needs. On the wedding day, everything ran extremely smoothly. Could not have asked for a better experience working with a transportation company!

Philadelphia Trolley works was easy to work with from the start! Once booked we didn't worry about anything! They came the day of, on time, and our driver was so wonderful about getting us where we needed to go. It was well over 90 degrees the day we got married and we had a number of small children in our wedding party- we aren't sure what we would have done if we didn't have the trolley to hop on! DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! POOR COMMUNICATION BEFORE & DURING WEDDING! OVERALL POOR SERVICE! I hired Philadelphia Trolley Works (PTW) to provide shuttles for my guests between the ceremony and reception locations. Though my wedding was in downtown Philadelphia and the locations weren't more than 10 blocks apart, it rained the entire day of my wedding, so the shuttles were a prudent hire and critical to keep guests dry and safe. We asked PTW to shuttle guests from the reception location (in Chinatown) to the ceremony spot (Union League of Philadelphia) prior to my wedding, since there was better parking at the reception location. This part went off smoothly, with PTW providing two buses that did staggered departure times and made sure anyone who drove into the city that day and parked in Chinatown was able to get to the ceremony spot safely. The problems arose after the ceremony/cocktail hour at the Union League. PTW was hired to provide two buses making two rounds of shuttles from the Union League to Chinatown, with each bus holding approximately 50 guests and each round taking about 1/2 of my 200 guests from the Union League to Chinatown. Unfortunately, each bus made only ONE trip each, before departing without any notice given to myself, my coordinators, or my guests. This left about half of my guests, including my family (mother, father, and brother) stranded at the Union League in poor weather waiting uncertainly for the buses to return. Needless to say, it was about 30 minutes before anyone realized the buses weren't coming back and the guests committed to taking taxi's and ubers to the reception location. This delay put our reception behind schedule (given that the bride's family was not there on time) and forced many guests to shell out money for transportation when we had specifically promised them shuttles. No guests took this poorly, but I was still embarrassed as the bride to hear that half my guests had been left behind and then forced to make their own way to the reception space. I was later informed that PTW's drivers had booked another engagement IMMEDIATELY after my wedding and that the poor weather + regular downtown traffic caused the first loop to run so slowly that they were unable to make the second trip without missing their second engagement. So, instead of telling anyone about this conflict, they simply left. I feel that as the professionals in this situation, PTW should have anticipated that the window we hired them for was too short for the task at hand, especially given that THEY WERE THE ONES TO SUGGEST THE WINDOW IN THE FIRST PLACE! At the VERY LEAST, someone at their office could have had the courtesy to inform myself or my coordinators of the situation sooner so that guests could have made alternative transportation plans sooner rather than later. Instead everyone was left wondering what had happened to the shuttles for half an hour. I have to say that even before my wedding PTW provided poor communication. They were unresponsive to emails and phone calls. In particular, I was concerned that the Chinatown location I had assigned for pickup/drop-off might not have enough spaces for both buses, which PTW said they would check out before my wedding day but never did (thankfully there was enough space, although who knows what would have happened if there wasn't - probably the drivers would have simply drove off and left everyone!). Thankfully PTW was the only mishap we had, but I would NOT hire again.

The trolley show up on time, and we were stunned by how perfect it was. It was perfect for pictures, and the tinted windows allowed me (the bride) to stay on without people being able to see me before the ceremony. The company is easy to work with, and very reliable. We used the trolley for our wedding on April 7th, we rented it from 1p-11p and used it to shuttle our guests to and from the hotel. It worked out great!! Evelyn was our driver and she was fantastic! Highly recommend, pricing good.

Avoid this business at all cost. We engaged them for a wedding in Philadelphia and 1) even despite detailed instructions they sent the buses to the wrong hotels and then 2) employed faulty equipment so that one bus with a malfunctioning defroster contributed to visually incapacitating/effectively blinding the driver. Wedding guests were up front wiping down the windshield in an attempt to aid his vision. No such luck. He ran up on a median and crashed into a bike rack. The potential for physical danger to guests was very real and we were lucky that there were no reported injuries as of this review. When asked about compensation Philadelphia Trolly Works offered minimum recompense, were intractable about it, and had the stones to insist in the release that we post no reviews of the service in order to be compensated. Do NOT take a risk with these guys when it is a day that comes once in a lifetime. An epic fail.

We used Philadelphia Trolley Works for our wedding 10-07-2017. We had a complicated itinerary and a tight schedule in NJ in areas I'm sure they were not familiar with, and they made the entire day smooth. They were very helpful and respectful in the multiple phone calls I had with them as I changed locations and times, and they developed an itinerary and stuck to it! They arrived early to the groom's house, transported us to all locations in a timely manner, and the trolley looked so appealing in photos. It was comfortable, fit our large bridal party, and there were no hiccups during the day. Our driver was respectful, timely, and safe. It is a great vehicle for a bride to get in and out of too rather than ducking into a limo! We highly recommend this company!

We used Philadelphia Trolley Works to transport our bridal party and then hotel guests for our wedding on 9/30/2017. Tyrone was very easy to work with to plan the day. Day of, the trolley was on time and there were no issues throughout the day. Compared to other transportation options, Philly Trolley Works was reasonably priced and our guests enjoyed being in the trolley. Thanks!

I would not book with this company. Seriously, others are better, we also used Celebrity and they were a dream, book with them! Here is why: 1. They were 20 minutes late to pick up guests on our wedding day to take them to the venue. Unacceptable. 2. We got married at Valley Green Inn which is difficult to reach, narrow dirt roads, etc. I spoke with them at length about this and they assured me they would be able to navigate the roads. Well, the day of the wedding they dropped guests off over a quarter mile away, because they said that was as close as they could get. And then made guests walk back down the same path back to the shuttle in the dark at the end of the night. This is even more unacceptable to me, especially because we booked with another transportation company (Celebrity) and they were able to drop guests from our other hotel RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE VENUE (they were also on time- book with them instead!). 3. The first time I called to inquire about booking, I randomly spoke with Amanda. Every time I called after that, they said I had to speak with Amanda. The person who answered the phone would not help me. Even if Amanda was on vacation. Even if Amanda was out sick. It was so frustrating. You don't need extra headaches when wedding planning, which is exactly what this was. I wish I never sent them a deposit, because we ended up needing another shuttle (which they could not accommodate for us) and booked it through Celebrity. Celebrity had great customer service on the phone, were on time and dropped our guests off at the right spot. Save yourself the trouble, avoid Philadelphia Trolley Works.

We booked a trolley and a charter bus for our wedding guests for April 29th. The day of my wedding, the groomsmen were 20 minutes late which then began the domino effect for the rest of the day. As I came down to the main floor to be picked up all of my guests who were suppose to be on the chartered bus were sitting in the lobby. The charter bus I paid for never showed up to bring my guests to the church. The Trolley Works never contacted either of my point of contacts either for they were both my bridesmaids. After my bridesmaid called the office, she was told that they did not have a charter bus for my guests and that it was never scheduled. My guests were left at the hotel to find their own way to the church which was in Port Richmond. My wedding trolley being late from the start, showed up late to pick me and the bridesmaids up as well which resulted in us arriving to the church almost 20 minutes late for the ceremony. Needless to say the pastor was not pleased. Our driver was also very inexperienced and did not know her way around the city. She first took my husband and his groomsmen in a long about way through the city to get to our church and then after the ceremony tried to leave us off at the Wanamaker Building on the opposite side of the entrance . We ended up not even getting dropped off at the front door near Juniper St but rather more than a block away near the middle of City Hall. Our trolley was also very hot and there was no air conditioning. After the ceremony a bus showed up to transport my guests back to the hotel before the reception, but at that time the guests were already out almost $500 because they paid another charter service to do a quick drop off. After speaking to the Trolley Works they did compensate us for our troubles, but it still caused a lot of havoc and confusion that is not needed on a wedding day that is unforgiveable. Word of the wise...before booking please ensure your drivers will know where they are going. I'm still baffled almost 100 days later how you can be the Philadelphia Trolley Works and not know your way around Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Trolley Works did a fabulous job transporting the wedding party and guests at my daughter's wedding in Center City Philadelphia over Memorial Day Weekend. The drivers of both the trolley and bus were prompt, courteous, and very conscientious about getting all the guests to the venue on time and back to the hotel at the end of the celebration. Also, it was a pleasure working with Tyrone in the reservations office. He listened carefully to my concerns, answered all my questions, and, most important, he always followed up with a phone call or email. In summary, I can not recommended Philadelphia Trolley Works highly enough.

We had a great experience with our bus we rented from Philly Trolley Works. We got to use it for transportation of our guests as well as our wedding party photo shoot before the wedding. Once I got an email from Trolley Works they were very easy to get in touch with. The driver on the wedding day was so nice an competent.

I got a bus for my wedding day from Philadelphia Trolley Works. Jenna booked for me and she was great! Andre was our driver and he was PERFECT. Professional and friendly. He was great. I have been recommending them to all the brides I know who are getting married. Their prices are the best. I was able to get a bus all day for cheaper than other places were doing a 4-6 passenger limo for 4 hours. I highly recommend.

We hired Philadelphia trolley works for our wedding. We paid way more then other companies were willing to charge for a trolley. I chose them for their ratings and frankly shouldn't have. The trolley leaked on our bridal party in various locations throughout it. I contacted the company after the fact and was told someone would get back to me regarding this matter. No one did. When friends ask for transportation, I will not be recommending them.

We hired Philadelphia Trolley Works for our wedding welcome event on the night before our wedding (Friday) for a tour of the city for our out-of-town guests. We were extremely happy with their service. The tour on Friday night was great and our tour guide Bill was great as well. He was very entertaining and had wonderful knowledge and great stories of Philadelphia history. Months later, our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the tour. We also used the Philadelphia Trolley Works for our wedding day (Saturday) to take us around the city to different locations for our pictures. That worked out great for use as well.

Philadelphia Trolley Works provided a beautiful 38-passenger trolley for our wedding day. Our driver was pleasant to work with and arrived promptly at the start of our day. She did have some trouble with directions and struggled a bit operating the trolley. However, all in all we had a good experience and enjoyed having the trolley for our wedding day. Philadelphia Trolley Works was easy to communicate with, either by phone or email, and followed up with me closer to the day-of about final payments and confirmation of details and schedule. I would definitely recommend their services!

Great service on the day of the event, great trolleys and driver as well. Working with the reservations department can be a bit of a challenge, make sure you follow up to confirm a week or so before the date of the event. We were able to do some negotiating and close a better deal in our favor as well so don't be afraid to ask!

I am so happy my wife and I used Philadelphia Trolley Works for our wedding day! With so many trolley and bus companies in the area, I thought our search for one would be difficult. Absolutely not! As soon we spoke and met with Roe, our choice was made. Roe was so incredibly nice, and very helpful throughout the whole process. She did an amazing job of following up with any questions we had right away, and even confirming and re-confirming the pick-up and drop-off locations for our wedding day! We had a beautiful white trolley pick us up at the church and drop us off at the reception, then the trolley made three trip to and from the hotel and reception venue without any problems! I heard several compliments about how nice the trolley was from guests. We recently worked with the Philadelphia Trolley Works for our wedding in November. Our wedding was in NJ and we priced out several trolley companies in NJ and the Philadelphia Trolley Works came in several hundred dollars cheaper for the day AND honored an online coupon for us. I worked with Shelley for booking who was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. We used the trolley for our entire bridal party and to bring our guests to the ceremony from the hotel and then back to the hotel after the reception at the end of the night... So it was a long day! Our driver Patrick was GREAT! He followed all our directions even though he was outside of Philadelphia and never got lost, was early for all pick up times and was so pleasant the entire day. I felt the quality of the trolley was fantastic and I loved the way the interior was designed versus others I have seen in the past. I would absolutely recommend going with this company over others and would 100% use them again!

We used Philadelphia Trolley Works for our October 2015 wedding for both guest transportation and limo for the bride and groom. The vehicles provided were in great shape and both drivers were very friendly. I would be happy to use them again!

We use PTW for bridal party transportation and the guest shuttling from our hotel to venue, both in downtown Philadelphia. We received a call the night before that our trolley would not be available which is why I am giving a 4 star rating. They substituted with a charter bus, which was fine but took away from the feel that we were hoping for that day. The drivers were timely and polite.

We hired two trolleys for our May wedding. The trolleys were on time and stayed right to the end making sure that all guests got back to the hotel after the reception. I think in general they did a good job. The booking and payment was easily done over the phone. Our only disappointment, which was a big one, was that they did not return the full cooler of beer that our groomsmen accidentally left on the trolley. We had a miscommunication with the groomsmen and they forgot to grab the cooler when we got to the reception space. When I e-mailed our contact at the beginning of the week he said he would look for it and ask around. I followed up and he said he still hadn't found anything. I was upset because a large cooler is not an easy thing to loose. I am sure someone just took it home and had a nice party. I wish that would not have happened otherwise this would be a stellar review. If you use this vendor just make sure you don't leave anything behind.
