We got married at the Greystone at Piedmont Park in January 2025, and we had an amazing experience with the Piedmont Park Conservancy staff! At each step in the process, they were responsive, friendly, and helpful. They answered all of our questions and were a joy to work with! Brigette, Ericka, Max, and the rest of their team are a big reason our wedding was such a success! We would highly recommend the Greystone and the conservancy's other venues. :)
We got married at Greystone in May with the ceremony on the terrace. Jane and Ericka, and all of the staff, were super helpful and friendly. We loved having the ability to take pictures all over the park and be in a location with easy access for out-of-town guests. Would highly recommend this stunning location!
As wedding photographers, we love this venue! Piedmont Park, the heart of Atlanta, provides a gorgeous location for your wedding. It's the perfect mix of nature and city, featuring the skyline, Lake Clara Meer and endless foliage. Perfect for photography! We'd highly recommend this location for your wedding day.
My husband and I got married at Greystone in October 2019. We worked with Jane and Ericka, both of who were extremely friendly, helpful and easy to work with. They responded to our inquiries very quickly and made sure we were informed every step of the way. Greystone is a beautiful venue in the middle of Piedmont Park, and we chose it because the park is located in the heart of Atlanta and we could get both a city and a nature feel from the venue. Also, all the money that goes into booking the venue ends up going towards preserving and maintaining the park! We had originally planned to have the ceremony on the back terrace, but the day before the wedding, we were forced to switch to a rain plan. Ericka and her team switched the floor plan up very quickly and the ceremony still went beautifully indoors. On your wedding day, I would definitely recommend someone who is very responsive and makes sure that your wedding day will go smoothly, and the team at Piedmont Park Conservancy definitely did all that!
Gorgeous venue, in the heart of Atlanta! We absolutely loved getting married in the middle of the park (ceremony at Dockside, reception in Greystone). Jane, from Piedmont Park, was very helpful in the whole planning process!
We are so happy that we got married at The Greystone at Piedmont Park through the Piedmont Park Conservancy! From the beginning, communication was wonderful with Jane Rollo. She promptly returned our inquiry and we set up a tour for several of the venues managed by the conservancy. We immediately fell in love with The Greystone at Piedmont Park and booked for our wedding! It was a joy to work with both Jane and Ericka throughout the planning process. They were on top of all communication and I felt confident our wedding would run smoothly. The Greystone was the perfect venue for our wedding, providing privacy with having the ceremony on the back terrace yet still right in the heart of Piedmont Park. Highly recommend working with the Piedmont Park Conservancy for your next event!!
The Greystone at Piedmont Park was the perfect venue for our ceremony and wedding! Jane and Ericka were a pleasure to work with and incredibly helpful throughout the process. Due to rain and colder temperatures, we decide to move our ceremony indoors. The Piedmont Park team made the rain plan run smoothly and made sure we still had a great experience for our ceremony indoors. I highly recommend Piedmont Park's venues for events!
We had our reception at the Piedmont Park Greystone. It is a beautiful venue and Jane was wonderful to work with. It was the perfect venue for us and the park creates a gorgeous backdrop. Our only hiccup was getting our approved transportation into the park as planned. For some reason we got stuck at the gate for an extended period of time before being allowed to enter. We were never given an explanation for this.
Magnolia Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding! The space was beautiful for a winter evening reception space. Seeing it filled with candle light and flowers was a dream. The staff was also amazing throughout the process. I never had any issues or concerns during the planning process. I highly recommend working with them!
We wanted a wedding in town which was close to the hotel (the Loews). Not only were the staff so helpful in thinking of every last detail, they let us bring some items ahead of time on Friday and store items day of in their secure annex. Parking was easy, and their food vendors include Jim N Nicks BBQ - exactly what we were looking for. Everything can be indoors so rain is not a factor. The best part: giving my husband and I a quiet moment before our entrance to eat a plate of food in the annex building before spending the night talking with people! Highly recommend!
I had my wedding and the dockside venue but wanted to give thanks to Piedmont park staff and vendors for being available and for making my wedding day fantastic!
We had our wedding here in November and it was perfect! We had our ceremony in a tent on the patio and the reception inside. Both spaces were the perfect size for our crowd (200 people) and everyone loved the venue! It was so much fun to be right in the middle of the park and still having an event that felt private. The view of the park and the skyline is also beautiful! Jane was awesome to work with and was super helpful throughout our whole planning process. She was very quick to answer our questions. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a memorable Atlanta wedding!
Getting married in Atlanta in December is frustrating because most venues will uncharge on the rental fee because of corporate Christmas parties. When I came to the realization my dream venue would be out of budget (twice the cost in December than any other month), I searched for a venue that was in the city and would give my out of town guests the true Atlanta experience. Greystone exceeded my expectations and ended up being my dream venue. Your guests will get to be in the middle of Midtown and your pictures will have the city skyline in them. Barbara was super accommodating and made sure all my requests were handled promptly. The only negative is the distance from the parking deck to the venue but I did not hear too many complaints. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a City feel for their wedding.
My wedding and reception were held at the Greystone on January 22. I happened upon this venue one evening while scouring the Internet for a site that was located "in-town", full of charm and could accommodate my expected guest count of 150. Jane responded to my inquiry, provided additional information and coordinated my site visit the following morning. Originally, I had my eye on Magnolia Hall, but I feel in love with Greystone's history and classic beauty. Fortunate for me, my wedding fell in their off-season so I received a discount on the rental. After I entered into contract, Jane would check-in periodically to see how things were coming along. Because its located in the heart of Piedmont Park there are quite a few restrictions and rules (e.g. transportation, vendor list), but Jane was super helpful and assisted my planner with navigating those throughout the way. So pleased to have had my winter wedding (snow and all) inside this beautiful, little known gem (Greystone at Piedmont Park)!
Venue was absolutely gorgeous in Piedmont Park for our early fall wedding. No complications on that day - no rain, all staff and set up completed, etc. Only complaint would be the venue contact... quite pretentious but once you get through the attitude and repetitive comments, she can be helpful.
Beautiful venue with the most amazing view of the city and made for great photos. The rental fee goes back into the park conservancy which is a nice bonus. It can get a little complicated to coordinate logistics here with vendors and parking but it was well worth it!
Loved this venue for my wedding; it was just the right size for our 80-person reception, and we used the lawn just outside for our ceremony. The venue has also undergone some recent updates that may not show in online photos; the cement floor has been re-stained so it is now a lighter neutral gray color, rather than an ugly green, and there are no more ugly green curtains. All events at Piedmont Park have to end by 11:00, which may be a disappointment for some, but worked out great for us.
This is a beautiful place for a wedding. It is a little older so it has a more homey, comfortable feel than other places in Atlanta. We were able to get married on the lawn right outside, which I thought was very convenient (we originally wanted to get married at Dockside but it was booked and we ultimately agreed that it was much better to get married right next door instead of requiring our guests to run around Piedmont Park in their heels). The inside of Magnolia Hall gets more beautiful as it gets darker. I absolutely loved the venue and had no regrets about choosing it. The only negative was the Saturday night alcohol minimum - I didn't look at too many other places so I'm not sure what's the norm but personally I thought it was a little high, especially since I had a number of older guests who didn't drink as much. Their selection IS very good though - I received a bunch of compliments from guests about the wine and liquor selection. Also, Barbara from the Piedmont Park Conservancy was great to work with. She was very helpful in coordinating things toward the end.
If you are looking for a beautiful venue that is versatile and effortless, then Greystone is definitely the place not to mention Jane is freaking fantastic. She was very personable and helpful throughout our entire experience She was very responsive to all of our emails, scheduling, and even making suggestions. I don’t know what we would have done without her! The venue is absolutely beautiful. The terrace overlooking the pool and Lake Clara Meer is beautiful especially with the fountains on. We were able to rent golf carts from the conservancy that allowed our guest to be transported from the parking garage down to the actual venue with was well worth it! All of our guest continued to comment on how beautiful everything was and still are a month later. I could not have chosen a better place to have my wedding and reception. I would highly recommend Greystone Piedmont Park for any bride looking to get married in Atlanta, GA!
It was beautiful and the people were so friendly!
I had my wedding in April 2011 at Magnolia Hall and the venue was great. Wedding on the lawn, reception in the hall. It was beautiful and the day went off without a hitch. Piedmont Park Conservancy runs Magnolia Hall and had a great event coordinator. All thru the planning process, I received prompt responses to emails and they were accomodating. There are a few restrictions regarding catering, but I had no problems finding a caterer and negotiating something to within my price range.
My husband and I wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. Through the Piedmont Park Conservancy, we got the best of both worlds! We used the lawn outside of Magnolia Hall for the ceremony and the hall itself for our reception. The hall looks a bit understated, slightly rustic, maybe even a little small, but once it is fully set up and decorated, it is GORGEOUS! Barbara Roberts and her staff are wonderful and resourceful. I cannot say enough wonderful things about PPC and Magnolia Hall.
Magnolia Hall had just the atmosphere we were looking for. The hall is beautiful with the dark wood and hanging lanterns. Fill the space with a ton of candle light and you have a very romantic setting. The location is perfect, right in the city and Piedmont Park offers great spots for pictures. We absolutely loved this venue and so did our guests!
