Pittsburgh Marriott North

In our hearts we would like to give a 5 star review for an overall very pleasant wedding experience, but we had an incident on the day of the wedding that cost a star over a safety concern which we can explain at the end of this review. Michaella, our wedding coordinator gets 10 stars. So does the team that assisted her throughout the process and on the day of. Everyone at the Marriott, from the front desk representatives to the servers the night of the reception are so friendly and pleasant. They give their best effort and you can see it. We were concerned in the beginning that we would do all the preparation through Michaella but not have her there to carry out the plan the day of the reception. But she and the team work so hand in hand that everything unfolded smoothly on the wedding day. In the planning Michaella was always prompt in answering questions, she was thorough, and when an inquiry required some looking into, it never took her long to get an answer. She worked easily with other vendors we brought into the preparation. She gave us great confidence that our wedding celebration would be perfect. She is incredibly efficient and professional and a great communicator. We appreciated opportunities the team made for us to get a look at a couple other wedding set ups before our wedding to help us envision what ours might look like and what we might want to do the same or different. The room set up the day of the event was organized and well done. The food was delicious, it was hot, the presentation was top notch and the meals were efficiently served. The servers went above and beyond intending to our 190 guests. The team was just as efficient in organizing all our things that were left over at the end of the night and in setting aside florals, cookies, etc for us to easily collect the next day. Our only negative comment that costs a star regarding our guests' safety involved the dance floor. We had a crowd that really liked to dance and the dance floor was always full. We learned the dance floor the night of the wedding was a relatively new one and on repeated occasions throughout the evening the floor separated such that women in heels were catching their heels between the sections of the floor that opened. As mother of the bride I left the dance floor twice to seek help in moving the floor sections back together to avoid a guest getting injured. On a third occasion our son, a groomsman got down on his hands and knees and pushed the floor back together. A couple weeks before the wedding we saw the dance floor with an uneven wood square and called it to Michaella's attention and she mentioned she saw it too and merely tapped it back into place with her foot. We provided Michaella with a video of guests trying to avoid the opening crack in the floor while dancing at the wedding so we trust the Marriott will be making the necessary fix. All in all Michaella and the hard working, diligent Marriott Team gave us a wonderful wedding memory for our bride and groom and their families that we treasure with gratitude.

We used this Marriott for our hotel room block. All the staff were very personable and gave us a great deal for our block. Their hotel bar was even open afterwards for a little "after party" Love how clean the hotel was!

Highly recommend booking your wedding reception at Pittsburgh Marriott North! They helped make our day so special and worked with us every step of the way, even after delaying a year due to COVID. Gina was so helpful and great to work with.

The Marriott in Cranberry is amazing. We used them for a room block and after party. The rooms were recently redesign and are gorgeous! They prices were great for guests, and because of the amount of rooms booked, they gave us a suite (2 bathrooms, 1 living room, 1 bedroom) for a huge discount AND one night free – it was the PERFECT space for all the girls to get ready in and have hair and makeup done. Or original plan was to have our after party at the bar-restaurant in the lobby, but pandemic restrictions kept it from staying open and limited capacity. Things worked out better than expected because they held two private boardrooms with mini kitchens for free and for the entire weekend! We preordered food to be delivered Saturday night, and setup all the supplies we brought so they were ready when we got there after the wedding – we kept the party going until morning. The space and the hotel were absolutely perfect for everything we needed!

We can't recommend Pittsburgh Marriott North enough. Gina and the Marriott staff were so great to work with and were very responsive to every little request we had. Setting up the tasting, holding meetings, and contacting Gina was convenient and stress-free. On the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly. The reception hall looked exactly like we dreamed it would. Also, the food was amazing - from the appetizers at cocktail hour to the reception entrees! We received countless compliments from our guests about the food and the overall reception. We are very grateful we chose Pittsburgh Marriott North for our special day.

I cannot say enough thanks to Gina and the staff here at Pittsburgh Marriott North. I was an out-of-state bride, so planning the wedding reception and logistics around the weekend would have been impossible without such an organized team on-site. From the initial contract signing, the food/cake tasting, countless general questions over email/phone, our Friday evening gathering at the hotel bar, cocktail hour, the reception, and all the way to brunch over at the Courtyard on Sunday, everything went off without a hitch. The set-up was beautiful, the Marriott preferred florist and bakery did a phenomenal job, and the Marriott event staff were extremely attentive. Our guests all said it was one of their favorite weddings. My only wish out of this entire experience is that the weekend would have lasted longer!!! P.S. If you have your ceremony and/or reception here, but sure to have your Marriott Rewards number on file, as you can put the points you earn on your event spending towards your honeymoon.

Gina and her team did an amazing job of making our wedding a dream come true! They did everything from set up to tear down and the ballroom was beautiful. Gina was always available to answer your questions and responded to you emails quickly, even while planning and having her own wedding! I could not recommend them enough... you will not be disappointed!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We are so happy with the Marriott from start to finish. The planning and communication was excellent and they were very accommodating. It was wonderful to have trusted florists and bakeries provided as part of the package. We rented the entire ball room with about 170 guests and the space was absolutely beautiful. The staff was so attentive to our needs the day of the wedding and I cannot say enough great things about their professionalism and thoughtfulness. The food was absolutely incredible from the appetizers, soup, salad, filet with crab stuffed shrimp, and Prantls wedding cake. They plated our cookies for us and did such a great job. Our guests were raving about the food, service, and staff and couldn’t say enough great things about the reception. We are incredibly thankful to the Marriott and all of their staff that helped make our day beyond perfect!!

The Pittsburgh Marriott North was THE best! I loved the accessibility and the package options. Emily was a consistent help and she eased my mind on many occasions. Plan your wedding here, you will NOT be disappointed.

My husband and I had our reception at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in April and we cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily, Joe, and the entire staff. From the very beginning, Emily was kind, patient, and quick to answer any questions we had. I had MANY different ideas and she was always welcoming and offered her opinions and solutions on how to make them happen. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I felt like I was emailing her every day with different questions and even throughout the entire planning process she was always quick to respond and never made it seem like I was burdening her. Her responses were always detailed and she made sure to completely answer each one of my questions. My husband and I drew diagrams and made lists on how things should be setup that day, but with Joe as our day-of coordinator, we had NOTHING to worry about. He was extremely organized and detail-oriented and everything was setup just as we had envisioned. On top of all of that, we had many compliments from our guests on the food (it was delicious!), the service, and the entire evening. We had around 300 guests and needed the entire ballroom. There was plenty of space for people to move around and not feel cramped. We also held a brunch at the Marriott the next morning with around 80 guests. Emily had no problem reserving a smaller section of the ballroom which worked out perfectly. Our day could not have been more perfect and we cannot thank the Marriott staff enough. We HIGHLY recommend this venue to any couple looking for a location for their wedding.

Wow! My husband and I can't say enough about the staff at the Marriott North. From start to finish, Emily (our coordinator) was amazing. On the day of our wedding, everything was set up perfectly and ran smoothly. The food was delicious, especially the salmon. The rooms for our out-of-town guests were reasonably priced. Emily's advice was spot on when it came to room decor and timing. Perhaps most importantly, the Marriott did not nickle-and-dime us like many venues do. There were no hidden fees or surprises. They made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our day/night. I highly recommend them. We are very pleased!

As the mother of the bride I would like to say that my husband and I could not have been more pleased at the professionalism and amazing service of the staff at the Pittsburgh Marriott North. Emily Stas and Brian could not have made the day more perfect. Our entire family and our friends all agree that it all made for a perfect day for Marrissa and Frank! I have four more children and would not hesitate to come back for the next wedding! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!!!

Pittsburgh Marriott North was an amazing venue for our wedding and I would chose them all over again! In the beginning and during the planning stages, Emily Brungo (Stas) was polite, helpful, and never made me feel like a nuisance with all of my questions. She was professional and made me feel like my wedding was the only one she was involved with. On Friday and Saturday, Joe helped execute my dream wedding to a T. Everything I asked for and wanted was perfect. The entire staff at the Marriott was accommodating and if I needed something, they jumped to complete the request. The food was absolutely delicious, the lighting beautiful, and the whole experience a once in a lifetime memory. I can't say enough wonderful things about the venue or the staff.

We couldn't be more happy with our time at the Courtyard. From our check in on Friday to check out on Sunday the staff was so amazing. Emily and Brandi were fantastic and always quick to answer my MANY questions. Amanda our bartender was fun and accommodating to all of our guests. The service staff including the front desk management were so attentive to all of our wants and needs, always checking that our timeline was followed and worked with when needed. Seriously a great experience and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have an easy, carefree event. Thank you to everyone there!!

The venue was the first decision that my husband and I made as we started to plan our wedding. We decided to get married within the year and luck would have it, the Pittsburgh Marriott North had a Saturday in September available. From the very beginning, Emily Stas was excellent!! She was extremely responsive, provided guidance, and kept us on track through the whole planning process. As we neared the day of, Emily and the entire staff at the Marriott were amazing. Joe kept the whole night flowing perfectly, keeping us informed of the status of the ceremony and reception starting. Melissa was attentive and on her game! We had a number of people tell us afterwards how wonderful the staff was--noticing things that we, as the bride and groom, did not. The room was beautiful and having everything taken care for us so we could just enjoy the night was the best! On top of all of that, the food was delicious--tons of compliments on this as well! This was easily one of the best and easiest decisions we made after looking at a couple different locations within Pittsburgh. I can't speak highly enough for this venue and if you are looking for a location, check them out!!

Stayed here the night before my wedding and the bridal party got ready in one of the board rooms on wedding day. It was so fun and a perfect set up. My hair and makeup girls were so impressed with the space. Emily and Sharon were so great to work with and took away a lot of stress. I highly recommend this venue for any event!

The Marriott in Cranberry was more than I could have ever asked for in a wedding reception. Emily Stas the wedding coordinated there was simply amazing. She answers all questions within a day, never was annoyed by how many questions, helped with all the details I wanted included, and was there every step of the way during the process. The day of, I was allowed in the room to see the set up prior to anyone entering in and I was blown away. It was AMAZING! It was better than I expected and I was so happy. I was nervous to see because I truly couldn't picture everything being set up and the "big picture". I will be for every thankful for Emily and her team and creating the wedding of my dreams.

Our wedding was everything that we imagined and more! From the beginning, Emily was so easily accessible and professional. Any question that I had, she answered very quickly! She made planning a breeze. At the wedding reception, we loved that we had time to relax after the limo ride. Joe and the rest of the staff were amazing! We cannot recommend this place enough! It was truly a great experience!

The staff at the Pittsburgh Marriott North is INCREDIBLE! Emily and Joe were helpful the entire planning process and throughout the weeks leading up to our wedding day. Emily answered all of my questions and emails quickly and thoroughly, ensuring me that she would take care of anything I needed. She was very kind and helpful to remind me of things so that I didn't get far behind in the planning process. Joe went above and beyond on our wedding day, making sure everything was in place and perfect for us. He even showed us the ballroom before the guests were in there to ease or minds about the decor. Joe then took all of our belongings to our room so that we had nothing to worry about after the reception. He would continue to say "my pleasure", "it's my job" and "I'll take care of it". The restaurant staff was excellent as well. They welcomed us to the bar after our reception ended and remained patient and accommodating. We order pizza in the lobby and had a lobby party once the bar closed and the staff was awesome about it. I highly recommend the Pittsburgh Marriott North due to the helpful and kind staff!! Thank you for making our day perfect.

I looked at several venues before choosing to have my wedding reception at the Pittsburgh Marriot North, and I could not be happier with my decision. The hotel and ballroom are stunning. Emily (sales and catering account manager) worked with me and with my family from the very beginning. She is extremely good at her job and very kind and accommodating. Days before the wedding, I met with Emily and Joe (on-site coordinator), and together we went over every detail of the wedding day. They are very good at what they do, and because of them I was relaxed going into the wedding and confident that the staff had everything covered. On the day of the wedding, everything went extremely smoothly. The guests had a great time and loved the food. I would highly recommend others to check this place out.

We had our wedding at the Pittsburgh Marriott North this past April 2017. I couldn't have picked a better venue!! Emily Stas Is who I worked with throughout the entire planning process and she is absolutely amazing, such a sweetheart, truly cares about what she's doing and she's very good at it. When you put all this time and money into your wedding you expect the best and they did not disappoint. I went into my day without any worries and everything went great. Not one issue. The Marriott staff that worked that day was amazing as well!!! They helped make it all come together, made sure it went smoothly, put up my decor and added a few little touches to make it even better!! The FOOD!!! I wish I personally got to eat more , if only we had more time :) ...but the guests raved about it !! Some even said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Everyone continued to tell me after how good it was and they were still full the next day from eating so much !! I truly can't say enough nice things about the Marriott. I am so happy we had or wedding there and would recommend everyone to go there!!

Pittsburgh Marriott North was amazing - Emily Stas did such a wonderful job of listening to what we wanted, providing suggestions, and creating exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Emily was very timely with emails throughout the whole process and was just wonderful in general. We had our ceremony and reception at the hotel. We also got ready there that day. Everything was wonderful - we had food catered in for breakfast and lunch while getting ready and the Marriott was there if we needed anything else. The uplighting was absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing. We heard nothing but compliments from our guests!

Absolutely everything went perfectly the day of our wedding! Emily, Brian and the rest of the Marriott staff were timely, patient and responsive to our emailed questions and our visits leading up to the big day. The room was set up exactly as we had envisioned and they even gave the bridal party a sneak peak of the room before all the guests entered for the reception. The drinks were plentiful, the service was friendly and responsive and the food was good. My only complaint, if it was a complaint, was that the cake was cleared too quickly. Everyone is always torn between dancing and eating cake at the reception and your place is typically cleared before you have a chance to polish off your dessert! Regardless, our wedding went off exactly as we had envisioned and the Marriott staff made it seamless and easy on my husband and me.

We cannot begin to explain how wonderful working with the Marriott has been. We had our wedding reception at the Pittsburgh Marriott North on 10/15/2016 and it was absolutely perfect. We first met with Emily, the main coordinator in January 2016 and from that booking date up until the reception, the entire process was easy (I know that describing wedding planning as "easy" seems crazy, but that's truly what it was). Emily is extremely well-organized and personable which makes working with her so great. She would check in with us regularly to make sure she was up-to-date on any and all details, she made sure to schedule meetings with us, set up our tasting, make sure our cake and centerpiece vendors were contacting us/doing their jobs, and it was very obvious that she genuinely wanted it to be the best day for us. The rest of the Marriott event staff, led by Joe, was exactly the same: courteous, competent, pleasant, eager to assist, and kind. They set up the hall and our decorations exactly how we asked and made sure that we, our parents, and all of our guests were happy with the experience throughout the night. We will DEFINITELY be recommending this venue to all who are looking. They helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Thank you to Emily, Joe, and the rest of the Marriott staff for everything that you did for us. We loved our reception and are truly grateful for the services that you provided! Thank you!!

My wife and I wanted a short engagement (it was three months total to be exact), so we knew finding a nice reception venue would be a challenge. After several calls around town, to find most venues already booked (and being giggled at by some because of the short notice), we finally got a promising lead with Pittsburgh Marriott North. Not only did they have an opening on our day, but the price was also a lot lower than some other places we were considering. We made an appointment to check out the venue and were utterly blown away by the space. Marriott's have always been known for clean, upstanding, quality stay and service, and this location was none less. Not only was everything pristine, but the whole building had a very new and modern feel to it, as if it was build in the last few years. We took the deal, and our experience just went up from there. Our sales account manager was Emily Stas, and she is completely professional and comfortable. We met with her about 3 times before our event to go over details of the night, taste test the food and cake, and provide our party favors and personal touch decorations. In a single word, I would say that the Marriott was "accommodating". My wife had many opinions and preferences on how we would like things to be, and Marriott was accommodating to all. Be it the personal decorations we wanted to bring, to different signs to post, we were able to chose the layout of the room and tables, and do what we wanted with the cookies and the night. The Marriott was there to support us. As a bonus, something I liked about the Marriott is that their package provided our wedding cake (12+ to choose from), flowers on the table, venue accessories, and a night in the nicest room I’ve ever stayed at. The night came and went like a dream come true. My wife and I have no regrets with our choice in the Pittsburgh Marriott North.

Emily Stas was amazing to work with from the start. She handled all the details of our wedding expertly, and made sure that we had a blast with all the planning. We had a fuss-free, simple vision, and she and her team did a great job with the execution on the day of our wedding! Emily kept us informed every step of the way, and made coordinating the entire event easy, even though my family lives in LA - she kept my mom in the loop and made time to meet with us whenever she was in town! It was a great day, and an excellent experience at the Pittsburgh Marriott North.

The Marriott was amazing to work with! They were very accommodating with all of our needs and went above and beyond to assist with whatever we needed! I was planning my wedding from out of state and Emily was fantastic! At one point we were talking on a day to day basis and she never made me feel like a inconvenience at all! Highly recommend the marriott!!

The staff at the Pittsburgh Marriott North is top notch. Everyone was so easy to work with and Emily was absolutely wonderful! Even during the actual reception the staff came around frequently to make sure that everything was going smoothly. Even with 360 guests present, everything ran like clockwork. They also did a fantastic job setting everything up - it was breathtaking! We couldn't have picked a better venue!

From before booking a contract, to the planning, to the day-of coordination and the follow-up, I have never been more impressed with the level of professionalism & customer service while working with a venue. Not only was the Sales & Catering Account Manager, Emily Stas, attentive, willing and fun to work with, but the servers and coordinators on the day of our reception were friendly, accommodating and upbeat. Working in the hotel industry, I have high expectations when it comes to attention-to-detail, customer service and a knowledgeable staff. Pittsburgh Marriott North exceeded my expectations, and this is certainly a venue I'd recommend for my family & friends' special events.

I could not have chosen a better venue for my wedding! Emily was so easy to work with from day one, and supported every decision we made. My favorite part was the Wed before the wedding, when she and Joseph, our coordinator for the ceremony and the reception met with me to go over every detail of that evening. They made sure that they understood what I wanted, and then sent me on my way. I didn't have to think about a thing on my wedding day! Joseph and the rest of the staff helped my visions came to life and even created a way to make my table names stand up when they didn't work as designed. Emily referred me to a great lighting company, and they made the ceremony perfect for me. The staff at the Marriott was so nice that evening, they made sure that Dan and I always had a smile on our faces, and were so courteous and helpful to our guests. We even had the option of bringing out late night food at the end of the reception, which was a hit with everyone!! I had many people come up to me and tell me how nice the front desk staff was, and everyone really enjoyed their rooms. Emily was very quick in her responses to my many many questions, and was just marvelous. I would most certainly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a beautiful, well run reception that is sure to please your guests. I am so happy that we were lucky to find them for our wedding day.

Absolutely perfect! There aren't enough words to describe how amazing our wedding was here. Not only was the reception beautiful and perfect, but all of the planning done up until the big day was great. Emily took care of everything for us. She responded quickly to any question we had and accommodated everything we needed. The event was amazing. The food was great, the set up was exactly as we discussed, and every detail was carried out as we requested. It was a completely stress free process for a completely perfect venue. I would Highly recommend this hotel to anyone! I wish we could throw another party here again! :)

When we began the process for our wedding the Pittsburgh Marriott North stood out against all the other venues that my husband and I looked at for having our reception. The service that we received from the entire staff was absolutely perfect from starting the process with Kate Knect and ending with Emily Stas, they were patient with us, quick to respond to emails, phone calls and overall made us feel completely comfortable with all of our decisions. The days leading up to the reception Emily and Brian went over every detail from the centerpieces, family pictures, cookie table and place card holders. The day of the event Joe led us back to the ballroom for a sneak peek prior to our guests entering the room, the ballroom looked amazing!! It was so beautiful everything was perfect. The food was very good and we had many guests comment on how good it was, they are very accommodating to particular food request (i.e. Gluten free, allergies, etc.) The entire staff was very pleasant to work with I still receive compliments from my guests about how much they enjoyed our reception. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a reception venue! Thank you to all of the staff that made our day so special.

The Pittsburgh Marriot North was the best decision my family and I could have made as we planned my wedding! The venue is absolutely stunning as there is ample space for seating, dancing, pictures and more! The staff at the Marriott is by far the most professional and passionate group of people my family and I have ever had the pleasure of working with; we had many guests traveling in from out of town, including my parents! During the week leading up to the big day, guests and VIP wedding party members stayed comfortably with every necessary accommodation imaginable! The staff went over every detail of the day and took care of everything from the linens to the last guest leaving the dance floor! There is no set up or tear down required; all that is required for the bride, groom, family, and friends is to have an unforgettable experience! The staff at the Pittsburgh Marriott North see their role as a passion, not an occupation and put tremendous care into making everything run as smoothly as possible. Emily Stas, the sales and catering account manager, is superwoman! Her hard work and dedication was instrumental in making my wedding day absolutely incredible! My husband and I used the Pittsburgh Marriott North for our ceremony and room block. The service we received from Kate and Emily throught planning process was amazing! They were patient with us, quick to respond to emails and phone calls and overall just made us feel completely comfortable with all of the decisions we made. We had a lot of questions throughout the process and they made themselves available for it all! The day of the rehearsal and ceremony we met with Brian, the banquet manager. He made sure everything was smooth and stress free for me. He handled everything professionally and promptly. I cannot say enough amazing things about him! We had a lot of out of town guests come in for the weekend and everyone commented on how well everything ran. I would highly recommend the Pittsburgh Marriott North for your wedding ceremony! I'm sure the reception would be just as wonderful, unfortunately we already booked our reception venue before visiting the Pittsburgh Marriott North.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Pittsburgh Marriott North!!. From the beginning, Jonathan and I were always made to feel important. Emily Stas was there for us every step of the way! She would answer any questions I had (some days I feel as though I asked a million), she had countless suggestions when we didn't know which way to go, and was always willing to listen to my crazy ideas. Without Emily, I feel like our wedding would not have turned out as amazing as it did! Our maitre d', Brian, made the day of wedding easy and carefree. He knew where everyone and everything was supposed to be. He checked in with us multiple times throughout the night. He would ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything. I thought that was extremely special. From the moment we walked into Pittsburgh Marriott North, we knew that is where we wanted to hold our wedding reception. What we did not know, was how amazing the entire process would be. We cannot that Emily, Brian, and the entire staff enough. It really was the best day of our lives!!

Our wedding day was like a dream! Everything at the Marriott was amazing and perfectly planned. From starting the process with Kate Knect and ending with Emily Stas, they both handled our wedding day with 100% care and effort. Having them help plan our big day removed so much stress that a bride can endure. It was the best feeling dropping all of our items off the week before the wedding and letting Emily take care of setting the entire room up. Then walking into the room at the beginning of the reception was a moment we will never forget, seeing all of the plans come together! Not only was the wedding event staff amazing, but the event manager was great the night of, making sure everyone was happy. The food was amazing and was given great reviews by our guests. Overall, it was a great experience, and if I were to do it over, I wouldn't change a thing!

Stress Free Wedding This is my second time at a wedding at the Pittsburgh Marriott North, and both have been great experiences. The first was a wedding that we attended that was great, and the recent wedding reception of my daughter. After visiting various wedding venues in the Pittsburgh area, my daughter felt very comfortable with the staff and what the Marriott had to offer. There are many choices out there but we liked what the Marriott North included in their package such as linens, a reception hour in the beautiful atrium, along with the cake. (2 great choices) The two main staff members that we mostly worked with, Emily Stas (wedding event manager) and Joseph Iacovone (assistant catering manager) were outstanding! Emily has guidelines to work with but she was also able to make adjustment and honor request that they bride wanted. We did not feel that she was preying on emotions but that she was there to work with us. Joseph was very detailed oriented and seemed to be everywhere. He made adjustments along the way to keep the wedding running smoothly, along with checking in with the parents to see if they needed anything. Both of these staff members are very professional! I did not come across any staff members that had a bad attitude or who did not want to be there. Everyone one was helpful and polite which is a rarity in the service industry. The Pittsburgh Marriott North is worth a visit. Good Luck!

We had a wedding block for two nights for our guests. We worked with Sharon, who was phenomenal. We were offered the use of their shuttle that night and also the use of a board room, which we took full advantage of. My in-laws stocked the board room with drinks and snacks and it as used multiple nights and after the wedding by our guests to continue visiting. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast included was perfect. We were SHOCKED to learn that the gorgeous hotel was the same price in the block as several other much older, smaller hotels in the same mile radius. You should ABSOLUTELY visit and book with the Marriott in Cranberry.

We chose the Marriot for our guest block of rooms following our wedding. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They also give great rates for room blocks. Very accommodating with the guest gift bags that my mother n law dropped off a few days prior to the wedding. Jennifer, whom which is the sale account manager is such an upbeat and helpful woman. I really enjoyed working with her. I would suggest this hotel over any others that I have stayed at for weddings that my husband and I have attended in the Pittsburgh area!

Kate and the staff at the Marriott North in Cranberry Township, PA went above and beyond to make my daughter's wedding day perfect. I would recommend the Marriott for anybody's special event.

I had my reception at the Marriott North. It was AMAZING. I dealt with Kate the most and I would have not been able to do it with out her! Any questions or advice she was there for me. She made it so easy to plan my wedding. The day of the event was beautiful. Every detail from centerpieces, food and even cookie tables couldn't have been better. Everyone even told me after the wedding what a beautiful place it was. I would highly recommend having any event there.

The Marriott North did an amazing job for our Indian ceremony/wedding reception in October 2014 it was absolutely perfect. Kate was wonderful to work with she made sure all of our questions were always answered in a timely manner. she suggested a few vendors like the DJ II to None was fabulous!! kate, Brian and the rest of staff were very professional and very attentive day of wedding. All of our guest keep talking about our wedding how much fun it everyone had such a good time. The food for the wedding was great,they let us bring in Indian food from a vendor from Pittsburgh along with american food also provided by the Marriott. The brunch for the guest the next morning was great also!! We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding!! Thank you Pittsburgh Marriott North!!

It's so hard for me to put into words how amazing it was to work with the entire staff at the Marriott North. They went above and beyond to make the entire wedding process - from tastings to uplighting to the timeline of the day- so smooth and extremely fun! Kate is the most professional person I've worked with. She completely fit in with my crazy family and knew exactly how to explain things to my "I can't believe my baby is getting married" father and to my "let's make this a fabulous wedding" mother. The entire staff went above and beyond my expectations on the day of the wedding, and all I had to do was enjoy my day. Even after I realized a few things had not gone as planned, Kate and the staff did not skip a beat to correct things in any way they could. I would highly recommend having your reception here! Kate, Brian, and the rest of the staff are top notch!

The Pittsburgh Marriott North did an excellent job with our wedding reception. The staff that took care of us that evening made sure everything was perfect. Kate, the Sales Manager, did a great job by helping us plan and detail our night. I couldn't have asked for a better evening. Thank you!!

We had our wedding reception here, and it was a wonderful experience!! Kate Knecht, our wedding contact and the Sales and Catering Account Manager there, was absolutely phenomenal. She was very professional, kind, and well organized during the whole experience! She got back to me very quickly whenever I had a question. They worked seamlessly with all of our other vendors (band, florist, etc) to make the experience easy and excellent - they took care of everything, and we didn't have to worry about anything. The food was delicious, and we had many guests comment on how good it was. They were very accommodating to particular food requests (i.e. gluten-free, allergies, etc), and took them seriously. The entire staff was very pleasant, and the facility is beautiful, clean, and modern. We had a wonderful reception here, and would definitely recommend Pittsburgh Marriott North to any couple looking for a reception venue!

5 stars to Kate and staff at Pittsburgh Marriott North. We held our daughter's wedding reception there in June and it couldn't have been more perfect. Absolutely great staff to work with not only for the reception but for the hotel staff in general. We had a block of rooms reserved and everyone was wonderful. The food was phenomenal, service impeccable and the result was a great event! I highly recommend this venue. Thanks again to everyone there!

The service and attention to detail we received for my daughter 's wedding was excellent . We felt as if we had our own wedding planner! Kate Knecht is energetic, competent and a delight to work with.

The staff at the Marriott made our day perfect. The service and food was amazing. The planning process was made easy by Kate. She accommodated us with everything we needed. Brian the banquet manager was so very accommodating and wonderful to work with, he really did everything he could to make our day perfect. He rocked! The Chef cooked the most amazing food, everyone raved about our weddings food for a month, saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had! We felt like a King and Queen on our day.
