I cannot begin to express how pleased my husband and I are with our engagement session and wedding day photos taken by Eve of Poppy Studios in Irvington. She really captured the essence of the day in the pictures. The package included the engagement session which was something I hadn't planned on. Eve explained how a lot of times this is a chance for her and the couple to get to know each other. I loved the engagement session. I felt much more comfortable with Eve on the day of the wedding because of the engagement session. There was also a second photographer on the wedding day. Eve was in charge the whole time and the second photographer captured other special moments going on around us. Even though they were ever present throughout every part of the day they became part of the background as we celebrated. As a result they got the most amazing pictures. You should definitely go with Poppy Studio for your photographer!

Eve was fantastic to work with both for our engagement session and the day of our wedding. Family and friends raved and raved about how she seemed to be everywhere capturing every detail of our big day, without getting in anyone's way. She is incredibly easy to work with and we are beyond thrilled with the quality of her work! I couldn't recommend her more highly!

My husband and I met Eve and her assistant, Blonnie, at a wedding expo in White Plains. We instantly loved their work and appreciated the fact that they were different from most other photographers out there. We didn't want crazy lenses or fancy angles, just beautiful images of our wedding day that highlighted our amazing friends and family. Eve and Blonnie did just that. Eve asked us so many questions to be able to get a feel for what was really important to us. She and Blonnie captured the most wonderful moments of our day and for that we are truly grateful!

My husband and I were very happy with the photographs that were taken at our wedding and engagement shoot. Eve was very responsive and easy to work with, and she and her husband John worked well together on our wedding day. We especially liked the "photo lounge"--our guests loved the idea and it was a lot of fun! Eve had suggested using a nice frame as a prop in the photo lounge, and it was a hit! If you are on the fence about the photo lounge, I suggest that you go with it--I preferred it over the typical photo booth that I have seen at other weddings. The quality of the album that we received was amazing and everyone loves it!!

Poppy Studios was great to work with. Eve really listened to all of our requests, and the photographs proved it. She got a feeling not only for us, but for the kind of atmosphere we were going for. Eve was great on the day of. She was quick, especially during outdoor (chilly) formal portraits, and it felt like she was always nearby to grab a quick shot. She was never in the way. She took her job seriously, but always had a smile on. It's also nice that the engagement session was included in all of her packages. The photos are beautiful-- we continue to get compliments all the time!

Eve and her team are very professional yet make the experience very personal. She includes engagement photo session in each of her packages so she has a chance to get to know the bride/groom before the day of. During day/of they have a timeline and is very helpful to those of us who were never in a wedding party before and don't know the logistics of the day-of. Additionally, she reminded us before and during the day that if there was a moment when we were tired of photos, just to tell them and they would back off. Really great rapport and very beautiful photos. You can tell Eve has an artistic background because she is constantly aware of all the various things to make a great photo while she is shooting it. She was not familiar with our venue so she went there a couple of weeks beforehand to check out some spots and lighting that could be expected. I never felt like I had to do take the lead, which is what I was looking for. My mantra was to hire professionals who I would trust to do their jobs - and with that, we have received unbelievably beautiful shots and are excited to see more.
