Port Huron Masonic Center Ballroom / Hall Rental

Denise Gordon is who manages the catering/hall. I can't find any other words to describe her and her team other than amazing! She really made a stressful day so easy for me! They have a package deal which comes with the whole shebang; set up, catering, bartenders, drink mixers (you buy your own alcohol), on-site security, and clean-up!! All of our guests were raving about how delicious all of the food was, which is always a plus :) The bartenders were awesome! Denise was so thoughtful and definitely customer and quality concerned. A personal story of awesome and over-the-top service Denise provided: I was planning our wedding from clear-across the other side of Michigan (Holland to Port Huron) and I was actually unable to even see the hall before we booked it. Denise met with both my mother and my mother-in-law at two separate times, was very up-front and informational. They were able to take pictures and, as I was a bit hard to get ahold of on the phone, talked with my mother frequently to keep me up-to-date on things (and also to lessen my stress a bit!) As Denise and I were finalizing everything she asked what color table linen/napkins I would like. They had a couple shades of blue, but nothing that really matched my blue (Malibu Blue in satin from David's Bridal) so I reluctantly told her black. In the two weeks between finalizing/confirming the booking and the night before we come to set-up the decorations at the hall, unknown to me, Denise took her personal time and went to David's Bridal, bought a swatch, and scoured the city in search of napkins that would match. We showed up at the hall to find a perfectly matched tealish-blue napkin color. She had bought a completely new set of fine table linens just for our wedding. As I'm sure any bride knows/will find out; the smallest unexpected blessings and favors mean so much! I hugged her and told her I loved them and couldn't believe she went to such lengths for a napkin! She replied "even a napkin matters to the Bride, and I want to make sure I can do anything possible to give you a reception you love." I don't think our wedding reception could've been any more perfect thanks to Denise and her awesome team! Thank you so much!!
