Bottom Line Up Front: Hire Port-a-Pit. They actually smoke the food ON SITE as opposed to bringing pre-cooked stuff! Hiring Port A Pit was one of the best decisions of my wedding. I had multiple people tell me that the BBQ we served was the BEST wedding food they'd ever had...The entire meal process was simple and went extremely well. I had worked with Leslie for about 9 months, and we worked out the timing of everything such that the day of the wedding I had NOTHING to worry about. Plus, the food was DELICIOUS. People were blown away by the quality and taste. I have been to 28 weddings, including my own, and while I may be a bit biased, our food was the best wedding food I'd ever had, too. As I said above, hire them!

Incredible! Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was! Many friends even said they went back for seconds! The chicken was especially "fall off the bone" good. The staff was attentive and made sure my husband and I ate and made to-go plates for us as well.

Best BBQ ever! They arrived on time and the food was delicious! The email communication had a few hiccups but everything was resolved quickly and everyone was very nice. They had our plates ready for us when we sat down with everything we had ordered which gave us time to enjoy our guests! Everyone raved about the passed horderves and were very impressed with the catering in general.

Port-A-Pit BBQ was very good, except for the "pulled" pork. The ribs were amazing, signature salad was very yummy, but the pork was ground meat insead of pulled. It contained some grisel and even bone. Port-A-Pit was kind enough to refund a portion of our catering bill because of the ground pork and a couple of other incidents. I believe they had 2 events the day of my wedding, so they were late to arrive and were still setting up some of the tables as guests were arriving.
