We cannot say enough positive things about working with Patricia, Jacqui and the whole team at Purple Iris in preparation for our wedding day in October 2022! The Purple Iris team took the time to understand our vision, to get to know our personalities and work within our floral budget to create the most beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres. Patricia and Jacqui went above and beyond to make sure the colors of our flowers were an exact match to my bridesmaid dresses and were also mindful in designing the boutonnieres so that they were not too heavy on the groomsmen shirts. Every detail was covered! The team communicated with our wedding coordinator to make sure our flowers were delivered promptly and without a single issue. We will be going to Purple Iris for all of our flower needs!

I truly cannot recommend Purple Iris enough! I use Purple Iris for all of my personal flowers as I live local so I knew I wanted my first stop to be here. Patricia was incredibly accommodating of my schedule for our first meeting and from the second I sat down I knew I was in the right hands. I was not a bride that had envisioned my wedding day a certain way and certainly needed guidance. Patricia knew my venue and knew all the places around the venue that people typically decorate with florals. She asked me my vision, made suggestions, and listened to what I had wanted. When I said I wanted a certain color of flower she had walked me around the shop to show me every possibility to ensure we both understood my vision. I absolutely love flowers and wanted them everywhere, of course there is a budget in mind and Patricia was very open and honest about what I could do within my budget and what I did and truly did not need by way of florals which I appreciated so much. My flowers were stunning and better than I could have ever imagined. I 1,000% recommend Purple Iris for your wedding day or any floral needs!

This florist saved the day! We were recommended Purple Iris from Clarks Landing and thank god for the owner. She stayed open for us to show up to her shop the day before the wedding. She took my flowers and FIXED EVERYTHING. She was a miracle worker. She transformed my flowers from being out of season flowers and DEAD, to being something I was proud to walk the aisle with. I can’t thank the owner enough for transforming my flowers in an hour and a half!

My daughter's wedding was June 5, 2022. Our original florist did a terrible job with our order. The bouquets were not what we ordered, and the flowers and leaves were mostly dead and wilted. Out of season berries were added to the bouquets and looked awful. Our flowers were a disaster and the florist was far away and closed by now. Needless to say, we were so upset, especially my daughter. Just when I was about to take them apart to try to salvage them myself, I addressed the issue with our venue, Clarks Landing. Nicole, our wonderful event coordinator called Patricia from Purple Iris and asked her to help. Patricia stayed open after hours, took the bouquets, and within 2 hours remade all 7 of them, including the groom's boutonniere (with some fishing wire I was able to somewhat salvage the others). Patricia did an amazing job, the bouquets were gorgeous and she saved the day. Without Patricia and her kindness, my daughter would have always looked back with disappointment as to how they turned out. Patricia was kind, understanding, professional, eager to help, and created beautiful masterpieces. She truly cared enough to make my daughter happy and did the best job, they were stunning. Purple Iris will always have my business.

Working with Trish at Purple Iris for wedding flowers was such a smooth and stress free process ! Purple Iris provided the flowers for our wedding in September. We were planning on a budget but they worked with us to ensure we had still had beautiful florals. When I first met with Patricia, I think she knew what I was looking for more than I did! She had amazing suggestions and her knowledge of flowers and talent for arranging them is incredible. Our bouquets were absolutely gorgeous – guests asked numerous times where they were from and commented that they were the most beautiful wedding bouquets they had ever seen. We were looking for simple but classic centerpieces and Purple Iris made sure they looked incredible by adding some greenery. Throughout working with Purple Iris, they had excellent communication and suggestions. The process was so very easy and fun, everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. The day of our wedding, the flowers were delivered right to our venue in water to keep them fresh which was extremely convenient. We were so happy with everything, from the centerpieces to the bouquets to the boutonnieres, everything was beautiful and high quality which made it feel so special. PurpleIris was recommended to me by my mother in law for our wedding at the Bay Head Yacht Club. From our initial meeting, Patricia was so helpful and asked all the right questions to guide the decision making process. I gave her inspiration images for my bridal & bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnières and we talked through all other needs for our big day including centerpieces and greenery down to the ribbon color for my bouquet to match my dress. We ended up having a small beach ceremony last September of 2020 and moving our big celebration to Fall 2021. Throughout the process, Patricia and the PurpleIris team could not have been more accommodating and lovely to work with. Patricia quickly adapted to our smaller order and even hand-delivered the bouquets and centerpieces. The flowers made the day so special and were exactly as I had envisioned. Just WOW! My bouquets were so stunning that my dad started crying when he saw them. Words cannot do them justice. Super easy to work with, they deliver for you, and all the pieces were stunning and cohesive. Only downfall was that I left a piece of my belt for them to wrap around my bouquet and it did not happen. Didn't even matter though with how breathtaking everything was. I do wish they would've called to give the belt back so I can use it for shadow box though.

The wedding flowers from Purple Iris were incredible! Patricia helped us pick out the perfect arrangements, bouquets, baskets, table flowers and floral arch and lanterns. I knew Purple Iris was the florist for me the second I met Trish! She was straightforward and honest from the start. Like every other bride, I brought in a vision board from Pinterest. She was the only florist who told me that the blush flower I thought I loved was actually peach. She helped steer me in the right direction after discussing my wedding colors, and the overall feel of our wedding. While many other florists just showed me pictures of different flowers, she actually pulled real flowers from the back to show me different colors and combinations. I walked away from our first meeting knowing that everything would be beautiful. Last-minute I realized I didn’t have a something blue, in came Trish to the rescue, she had a small something blue that was perfect! When the flowers showed up on the wedding day I was in awe, the flowers were above and beyond my expectations. I can’t thank Trish and Purple Iris team for making my vision board come to life better than I could’ve ever imagined!

Purple Iris did a fantastic job on our wedding day flowers! Everything from bouquets to center pieces turned out so beautifully. We got so many compliments on the flower ring center pieces from the guests. Trish is efficient, very helpful during the process. We couldn’t be more happier going with Purple Iris.

Trish and Purple Iris did such a great job with the flowers for our wedding! One thing I really appreciated was how honest she was. When we first spoke I had some pretty big ideas, and she was very realistic about what would/would not work for our venue and also pricing. I never felt like she was trying to upsell me something. She was able to get my same vision and feel but within my budget. I also really appreciated how she took the time to pull flowers and find specific pictures for me to get ideas during our consultation. I met with other florists that did not show this much attention or care. Although those florists were cheaper, I just felt like I was in better hands with Trish. She was 100% worth the price. Very creative, a lot of attention to detail, on time, had so many great ideas, and an amazing end product. We got so many compliments on the flowers!

Purple Iris Flower Shop was just incredible. We knew as soon as we sat down with Patricia that this was our place. Patricia really took the time to sit with us, go through inspiration photos and help build a more specific vision as to what we were looking for. She pulled up photos of every flower, helping us put a “name” to the flowers we liked and the colors we wanted. She was so great to us, every other florist we met just paled in comparison. And that was just our first meeting! Throughout the planning, Patricia was just a star to work with. Easy to get in touch with, gave her honest opinion... the best. The day of, our flowers really just were unbelievable. She designed exactly what we were looking for and more - I’ll never know how she took my vague ideas and mismatched photos and turned it into the vision we saw. She is amazing. Patricia and Purple Iris were phenomenal! My tropical bouquet was gorgeous! Patricia gave me several recommendations, as my knowledge of flowers are limited. Purple Iris was also the most affordable out of the ten other florists I sought out, and even though they were most affordable, they did not skimp out on quality of flowers. They were sturdy, gorgeous, and absolutely perfect. Patricia was also very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She didn’t try to up-sell me on more expensive flowers (like the other florists I met with). She made me feel like a priority and worked hard to accommodate all my needs. I wouldn’t want to go with anyone else - highly recommend!

We used Purple Iris for our recent wedding and our flowers were better than I could have ever imagined. My mom and I had met with Patricia to discuss what types of flowers I wanted for the wedding. She made mock bouquets during our meeting based on the pictures I found online and color palate we planned to use. When the flowers arrived to the bridal suite, they were exactly what I had envisioned with the colors and types of flowers. My mom also had the center pieces made for my bridal shower based off our initial meeting with Patricia, and they were also beautiful.

Married at the Crystal Point Yacht Club on August 18, 2017. Very humid day and my flowers remained outstanding! Upon meeting I had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted. Patricia pulled up some pictures and made my decision very easy. The blues and whites mixed came out beautiful! Highly recommend!

Purple Iris did such an amazing job on our wedding day! Our bouquets and boutonnieres were exactly what I dreamed of. I had a beachy/nautical theme and Trish was able to create seashell garland and lanterns filled with sand and shells! Not only that she worked with our budget and told us honestly where to make cuts to get to our target amount. They are so easy to work with and do such an amazing job!! Thank you for everything!

When you know, you know. As soon as we walked into Purple Iris we instantly clicked with Trish and Jacqui. It was like we have known each other for years. They were beyond helpful in so many areas that made it pleasurable and easy in checking off so many “to do’s” off our wedding list. They were extremely generous in recommending a great woman, Kim O’Hara, who has an amazing talent making chocolate that made our favors for the wedding, along with recommending KSS Photography who we used as our photographer as well. We joked with them telling them they were the one stop shop. They were beyond words. We never felt pressure to do more, everything was explained in detail what would be used with all the flowers we were ordering right down to the ease of the delivery of everything the day of the wedding. Every detail of what we wanted for our special day was delivered and made special by these amazing people. Their expertise, professionalism and above all their ability to made you feel like a great friend helped to make our special day a day to remember because of them constantly going above and beyond. From all of the girls’ flowers, the boutonnieres, flowers for the Mother’s and Grandmothers, flowers for the ceremony we were beyond satisfied. Jacqui created a beautiful arrangement in my grandmother’s vase that was beyond words, it meant the world to me on my special day. My father and I have been making wine together and Purple Iris turned our special time together into his boutonniere. Needless to say, we were so touched and pleased with the outcome. We had made several other appointments that first day we walked into Purple Iris and needless to say after meeting these women all of our appointments were cancelled. I am confident that we will use Purple Iris for all our family’s needs from here on in.

I recently used Purple Iris for my September wedding - they exceeded every expectation I had, just off a picture. As someone who loves all flowers and only had colors in mind they were very helpful in the processes of deciding what we needed. They really made our dream come true. Across the board the wedding flowers were gorgeous and the bouquets for the bride/ matron of honor were more beautiful than I could have imagined. Such bright, bold colors which is exactly what we wanted. The centerpieces and vase w navy ribbon perfectly added the color to the reception that we were looking for. And the arch with white linen and flowers was the perfect touch for our ceremony on the water. From top to bottom everything was so impressive, and they're a pleasure to work with too!

Patricia did such a wonderful job with the flowers for our wedding party. She found the perfect shade of pink and pulled all of my pinterest ideas together! She even ordered the blue and white ribbon to match what I already had for the cake.

Patricia and her team are amazing! I wasn't very sure about flowers... I never had something envisioned and was probably pretty vague. She showed me some options on the computer and went from there! I was able to see and make changes to the contract up until right before the wedding! She was always very accommodating and I was adding certain touches or making changes throughout! My flowers were beautiful! And some of my centerpieces were even going strong two weeks after our wedding!

Purple Iris created gorgeous, unique bouquets and boutonnières for us and our bridal party. I couldn't find any photos of the exact color and flower combination I was looking for, but they brought my vision to life and completely exceeded my expectations.

I'm not very big on flowers and during our meeting, I told her that I don't know much about the different kinds. Purple Iris was amazing!! We used them this past December for our wedding and I really couldn't be happier. We looked at two florists before here and I felt so pressured at the other shops I was really starting to feel nervous about flower shopping. I first typed into google flower shops close to Point Pleasant and had stumbled upon Purple Iris. It had many great reviews which is why I chose to see what they were about. I booked a consultation and couldn't have been happier. Trish was so accommodating, very personable and made sure what I wanted was affordable. It was a breeze picking out flowers and working with her. This is coming from the girl who can't tell the difference between silk flowers and real ones, in which she had laughed about. The flowers for our wedding were more beautiful than I could have imagined! Patricia was very easy to work with and very responsive when I had questions. I had not reviewed my contract thoroughly enough and on the day of the wedding, we were two boutonnieres short for the groomsmen, but with 20 minutes to spare, Purple Iris was able to deliver the two additional boutonnieres to the church. That is exceptional service! Looking back at wedding photos, I am still amazed at how stunning my bouquet was and I continue to get compliments from guests about our flowers. Purple Iris was fairly priced AND provided wonderful flowers for our wedding! Patricia was very honest with me and listened to my thoughts and concerns, and would tell me honestly if something could be done, or if she didn't recommend something. I really appreciated that. My focus was roses so we worked together to make some really awesome bouquets, cocktail hour vases/flowers, boutineers, wristlets, rose pins, and church alter baskets. She always gave me her straight opinion and didn't push me to add on a bunch of stuff, and instead focused on what would make the most elegant impact. Flowers arrived 100% on time and were perfect. I've heard horror stories from other brides and their florists and it was great to see that everything was delivered and was perfect. They rock!

One recommendation for future brides though: Calla lilies are beautiful but they all fell off the boutonnieres and mothers hand pieces so be aware! They were gorgeous in my bouquet and the girls' bouquets.
