Our wedding here was absolutely fantastic! Such a gorgeous place and my wedding photos are beautiful. I already knew marrying my husband would be a perfect day but choosing Los Caballeros made it a fairy tale. The location is gorgeous and it was fantastic having absolutely everything I could want all in one location. The special events coordinator Suzanne went above and beyond to make sure it was a fantastic experience. Since it is a resort, it was a full package solution - the full wedding setup, reception and dinner, cake, accommodations for out of town guests, awesome honeymoon suite, spa for my wedding day hair and make-up, and even activities for my guests during the day. They provided local recommendations for flowers and officiant too! They took care of absolutely every detail except what we wore that day and photographer. If you want a beautiful place that meets your every need to have a beautiful day this is IT!
I never write reviews, however, after hosting our wedding at Rancho de los Caballeros in November 2017 I can't rave enough about this resort for any type of event. Their hospitality is beyond belief as the ranch and their workers go above and beyond to make your experience nothing but exceptional. Each of our guest was raving about their service, the food, and their experience at Los Caballeros. From organizing the event the ranch made each step of the potentially stressful experience smooth and enjoyable. Suzanne the event coordinator at the ranch was extremely accommodating in requests and providing amazing alternative solutions to make this event my absolute dream. Her team was professional and on the day of the wedding were completely organized making the set up processes stress free. My husband and I can't wait to enjoy our one year anniversary back at the ranch and many more years after. Thank you Rancho de los Caballeros for the exceptional service. I hope many more couples who are planning their wedding or event take the drive to the ranch to see what an amazing experience they too can have.
Rancho de los Caballeros was the perfect site for our extended wedding weekend. We wanted a place large enough for our whole 140-person wedding to stay on-site (with the option to keep busy with activities or just relax by a pool), but small enough that we wouldn't be competing with numerous outside groups. We guaranteed all 79 rooms at the Ranch and had it to ourselves for the weekend -- the best decision we could have made. Not only were the Ranch's facilities and services fantastic, but they also went out of their way to customize every aspect of the experience for us -- creating a new outdoor ceremony site for us, turning their main lawn into our wedding reception site, and letting us turn their main living room into a piano bar for after our rehearsal dinner. Their cowboy cookout made for an amazing rehearsal dinner. They were also happy to customize the food experience throughout the weekend (the food was both generously portioned and absolutely delicious). The staff was incredibly courteous, responsive, and professional, and they worked very collaboratively with our wedding planner and outside vendors (we brought in fancier tables/linens/chairs/outdoor lighting although basic options were already included) to make sure we had exactly the wedding we wanted to have. Not only did they never say "no, we can't do that," they also didn't try to up-sell us when they said "yes" to accommodations, changes, or additions we requested. They even let us ride into our wedding ceremony on horseback! The only anxiety we had in the planning process several months out from the wedding, when it was hard to get quick responses to our questions -- the ranch is closed during the summer; once the staff was back in September, however, we felt entirely taken care of. A special thank you to Rick, the general manager, and to Stephanie, the catering and events manager -- you made our wedding weekend extraordinary.
Before our engagement, we knew we wanted a destination wedding, but didn't want to have another beach destination wedding. My husband had been to the ranch when he was younger, so he knew what fun we were in for. I on the other hand, being from NJ, needed to do a site visit before saying yes to a dude ranch! We flew out in August for a site visit at RC and a similar style dude ranch in AZ. We choose RC hands down, for their flexibility in venues and extensive ranch activities. In October, after they opened for the fall/winter, we flew out to the ranch to check out the accommodations, meet with local vendors, and taste test all the meals. By the time we left, we knew we had picked the right location and were so excited to share our wedding with our closest family and friends.
103 guests flew into PHX, and celebrated with us at the ranch. We had a friday night welcome dinner at the pool, a saturday night western cookout at the flats, team penning at the corrals, the ceremony at the trap and skeet range, and the reception at the golf course. Everything was amazing- the service, the employees, the hospitality, the food, the Venues.
The view from the t&s range, was in our opinion the best views on property, and the ranch accomodated our request to get married up there. They brought up the speakers, the bathrooms, the water and drinks, haybales for seating, and all of our guests. It was beautiful.
The reception was held outside at the caballeros county club. We had yard games set up during the cocktail hour- corn hole, mini golf, washers. The band set up out side. We took a plated dinner fromthe banquet menu and made it into a buffet line to keep the dinner more casual. The pastry chef made us a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing per our request. It was everything we wanted it to be.
By the time Monday morning rolled around, none of our guests wanted to leave. We know the weekend was better then anyone had envisioned it, and have expectations that our wedding will be talked about for years!
Working with the staff was so enjoyable! Rui, Hillary and Amy are fantastic- I don't think "no" is in their vocabulary! Everything we asked for we got. The wait staff and bartenders are so wonderful. It felt like family.
You will not be disappointed, your guests will thank you, and you will have memories to last a lifetime!
Many of our guests are already planning a return trip to the ranch! We now have a place in our heart for RC that will be there forever :)
