Food was one of our top priorities on our wedding day. After having our original caterer fall through during the pandemic, Randy Peter's came to the rescue with a team of professional event managers who went above and beyond. They had great communication, were reliable, offered great service and had the friendliest servers. Planning the event remotely, we had not had the chance to try their food until our wedding day but were amazed at the quality and taste they offered. All our guests raved about how delicious everything was. We cannot be more grateful for Randy Peter's catering nor recommend them enough!!

The team at Randy Peters is so amazing! From the first meeting they went above and beyond. All the food was incredible, the staff were so helpful and professional. Our tasting was so awesome and Randy himself came in to meet us. The staff makes sure you feel special and have no worries the day of your wedding!

They seriously make the best Mac 'N Cheese!!! We also got chicken cordon blue, caesar salad, grilled vegetables, and tri-tip with their homemade BBQ sauce. Everything had such an amazing flavor. My guests raved about the food. We loved it too! We got a variety of appetizers as well. Their coconut shrimp is killer! The cauliflower bread sticks are surprisingly very delicious as well. The service was amazing. They continuously asked us if we needed anything. They were all so friendly and nice. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Melissa and her team.

Randy Peters has been won for the best cater (KCRA List) in the Sacramento region year after year and there is good reason for that. Our catering manger Kerry was amazing and worked with us and our wedding planner every step of the way. Kerry did everything possible to make the day to flow smoothly. Kerry is a total rockstar! We are from LA and had a Sacramento wedding. They were able to work with us and let us have a food tasting on a weekend. We are so thankful that they were flexible. They also gave us AMAZING cookies after the food tasting. We did not want traditional wedding food - we wanted BBQ. BBQ was not on the menu list that they provided us, but they once again were able to make anything we wanted. Our Wedding Menu: Cocktail Hour 1. Cheese/Meat Station 2. Bruschetta and Tapenade Station *We heard the stations were yummy, but it ran out very quickly and some guests were disappointed. We had very hungry guests :) 3. Stuffed Mushrooms - A MUST have. I could have eaten these all night. 4. Sweet Potato Skewers - Yummy 5. Bacon Wrapped Shrimp - Everyone loved these Dinner: Plated (Randy Peters gave the guests very big portions) 1. BBQ brisket - I hate brisket and Randy Peters made me LOVE it. It was full of flavor and not one piece of fat. Homemade BBQ sauce which is to die for. 2. Tequila Lime Chicken with Mango Salsa - We got mixed reviews on this. Some people liked it while others thought it lacked flavor and the chicken was tough. 3. BBQ Baked Beans - Pure amazing. Best baked beans I have ever tasted. 4. Mac n' cheese - Yummy! 5. Corn Bread - Moist and perfection. 6. Salad with pear, glazed walnuts and gorgonzola cheese - Everyone LOVED the salad. The flavors went so well with each other. 7. Mixed Seasonal Veggies - We got mixed reviews on the seasonal veggies. Some said it lacked flavor, but some thought they were fine. I personally think they were just fine... veggies aren't suppose to have too much flavor of butter, spices, etc especially with all of the other flavors on the plate. Plus veggies are suppose to be healthy :) The great thing is that the food was cooked on-site. Most catering companies make the food ahead of time and then re-heat it at the venue. The servers were amazing! We (the bride and groom) even had a dedicated server who brought us out apps and drinks as we took photos. The service was top notch and went above and beyond. I was worried about people eating at different times, but everyone seemed to get served at the same time. Randy Peters is HIGHLY recommended and if I ever host another event in Sacramento I will hire them again!
