My boyfriend and I have been looking for a jeweler that can design my dream ring with a fair price but still not compromise quality. After months of search, I came across Michael Raven on Instagram and immediately fell in love with his work. I was still a little hesitate because I was not sure if the rings looked as good in person as it did on Instagram. After visiting his website, I scheduled an appointment for my boyfriend and I to see the rings in person. I assumed since he was a "celebrity designer" he would take a while to respond back but I was WRONG, he immediately emailed me back and gave me availability options which I appreciated so much (busy with my 2-year-old). After briefly telling him about my design ideas, our appointment was scheduled. Once we got to his office, I was impressed how nice it was (in the heart of Beverly Hills). Michael immediately greeted us and introduced himself. He asked how my boyfriend and I meet and how long we been together. He is very personable, so he made us feel welcomed and valued. After telling him my design idea's, he reassured me that he can make my ring exactly the way I want it which put a big smile on my face (yayy). Prior to placing the order, he explained that we would be a part of the process and that he would send us pictures for us to review and approve. Since I did not know much about diamonds, Michael took the time to explain and answer all our questions. He stated that the process would take 6-8 weeks since we were custom designing my ring (yayyy). Throughout the next couple weeks, Michael kept his word and sent me pictures for us to review and approve. I love each picture and just got really excited to see the finished product. Once the ring was done (7 weeks to be exact) he overnighted the ring to us. I cannot even express how beautiful my ring is, Michael designed it exactly the way I envisioned it. The great thing about Michael is that he provided a lifetime warranty on cleaning, so I look forward to working with him again. Thank you sooo much Michael!!! You definitely made me a happy fiancé.

I'm leaving this review on every possible site I can find to hopefully spare some lovely couple from enduring what my boyfriend and I experienced with Michael Raven. He's a hack... A "celebrity designer" with an Etsy store, who is far too busy making false promises than to actually deliver on his agreements. The fine print of his website should also include: *We will fall back on this fine print in the event that Michael's inevitable lies and incompetence completely derail your engagement/other special life events. Do yourselves a favor and search for reviews of this hack jeweler and filter from worse reviews to better. That's where you'll find real reviews, from actual people who Michael has lied to and cheated. My boyfriend and I saw Michael in March (it's now nearly July) with the promise of a ring within 4-6 weeks. Spoiler alert: I still do not have a ring from Michael. After many dodged calls, texts, and false promises, my boyfriend had to tell me what was going on because we had a plan to become engaged within a certain timeline. Once I learned of this, we looked for reviews and I stumbled upon Michael's Etsy store. Now, I love me an art and craft, but imagine my surprise when I learn that Michael Raven - who spent roughly 8 minutes telling us how utterly exclusive his clients are -- also has an Etsy shop. I filtered his reviews and found that he's delayed not only on our order, but it seems many Etsy orders as well. Heartbreaking. This man not only destroyed our plans, but has made false promises to so many others. Yadda, yadda....calls and texts happened and FINALLY Michael [kind of] admitted that the ring had not been started and could not be delivered by our "tight" deadline....which had now past 3 times over. Michael is a narcissistic, tiny man who may be a genius (I couldn't tell you), but he certainly isn't a quality human or savvy businessman. (Luckily, this heartbreaking story is about to turn a delightful new page, as we found a gorgeous jeweler in London. We've made sure to leave Michael Raven's name and a warning with every single person we've spoken to about this, including many Hollywood friends who we would have otherwise recommended to him.) My assumption is that if you are, indeed, an A-lister with an unlimited budget, you are likely to receive something beautiful within a reasonable timeframe. But A-listers aren't checking Google or Yelp, so this review is for the normies, those with oodles of wealthy friends with no names, and anyone who wants to feel fantastic about their special purchase...stay away from this clown. I'm just dying for a response with the usual website disclaimer, from one of his receptionists, who 100% know what's going on. Blink twice if you need help, Ladies. Michael is an absolute PRO! His attention to detail is extraordinary. His cuts are B E A U tiful. He’s the best. You have to get your ring from him. Thanks Michael!

Working with Michael to design my fiancé’s custom engagement ring was amazing! It is exactly what we wanted.. It literally could not have been any more perfect. My fiancé absolutely loves it and everyone she shows can’t stop talking about how beautiful it is. I was a little nervous trying to find exactly what I wanted in a ring but Michael was so easy to work with. We were under a time crunch and he turned the ring around so quickly and was always in communication to answer all the questions I had and reassure me everything will be done on time. We could not be more thankful for Michael, his work, and the entire experience. I highly recommend Michael to anyone I know, you will not be disappointed. -Cam and Helina
