Do NOT book any event at this place!! Horrible, horrible costumer serves and a rude, arrogant keener named Debbie. My mother had booked my bridal shower here for March prior to all the shut downs due to COVID. Debbie, who is an owner, was beyond rude to my mother. We tried calling several times as we heard of the mandated shut downs and could not get a hold of anyone for several days. At one point she even said she was away and would have to get back to her at a later date... Great business skills! We have this place the benefit of the doubt and tried to reschedule thinking everything would open back up by May and we did not have any luck again. After the second attempt the owner told my mother we could have the shower AFTER the wedding. WHAT?! She gave us the dates that would work for her, not us. I’ve never heard of anything like this before. What terrible customer service. After this, we just wanted our money back so we could throw a bridal shower at home. Debbie told us that “legally, she did not have to give any deposit back”. Nothing in our contract stated that the deposit was nonrefundable in the case of an Act of God or a pandemic so this was very wrong. People are losing their jobs during all of this and this greedy woman decides to keep people’s hard earned money for nothing? Needless to say - they settled to at least cater the food for us for our at home bridal shower. The food was absolutely awful. It must have been thrown together last minute. With this, the food was nowhere near the correct amount for 50 people as originally planned. My mother called back the morning of to ask for more food and she had the audacity to tell her to “go to Shoprite”!!! Pretty sure catering the food was not legal on their end either... I will be sure to call the Better Business Bureau on these scam artists. Luckily for them, I work with many doctors in the area. Everyone is well aware of the situation and will NOT be going back to this
