Riverview Country Club

The venue space is beautiful along with the views of the golf course. The fountain outside, the fireplace indoors, and the copper bar all add a unique touch. We also loved the collapsible glass walls which made the room feel open and beautiful. Like many others have said, you’re not going to find a better space for the price. Unfortunately, all of this was overshadowed by the complete lack of communication that we experienced. Our original coordinator, who made a lot of empty promises, left without notice. We were not told about this and several weeks passed without returned emails or calls. We found out only after calling the golf proshop ourselves. From there, we worked with 4-5 different people within the final two months leading up to our wedding, repeating our details each time as no records had been kept. Scheduled meeting and call times were missed more than once. Getting ahold of anyone was extremely challenging and added immense stress to an already stressful process. At one point within six weeks of our wedding, we were calling other venues looking for alternative options. Several promised items were missed on our wedding day. One of the most important items, which was repeatedly confirmed beforehand, was a staffed outdoor bar in addition to the indoor bar. On the day of, the outdoor bar consisted of a short-lived un-manned cooler which resulted in long lines at the indoor bar. They did make sure our florals were taken care of as agreed upon. We were assured several times we could come back the morning after to pick up our decor. As we were leaving to get on our buses the night of our wedding, we were informed everything actually had to be out that night. While we should have been enjoying the last moments of our wedding, we were frantically packing up our decor pieces. We are beyond grateful we ended up hiring an external coordinator. We can’t imagine how the day would have gone without her (Cali Smith, 610 Events). Tara started as Riverview’s internal coordinator a few weeks before our wedding and thankfully responded to emails and seemed to do her best to help us. With the help of our vendors, our wedding day turned out to be an amazing experience with memories that we’ll treasure forever. The venue looked incredible and the food/drinks met expectations. That being said, we would never want to plan another event with Riverview.

The location of this venue is amazing! The wedding venue and parking lot are separate from the main clubhouse, so that there is some privacy for the event. The ceremony space, and reception space (The Villa) are beautiful and rustic. The spaces available to take photos are breathtaking. However, the staffing, communication, organization, and planning are much less than to be desired. My husband and I selected Riverview 15 months before our wedding date, and had MANY problems with communication until our wedding date. We are an out of state couple, so staying in contact about dates, and check-ins was very important to us. We were almost never able to get in touch with the original event coordinator the venue had. In July of 2021 (our wedding was Sept. 5) the original event coordinator quit; we were not contacted until the first week of August. There was not communication between anyone from Riverview and us, still. If it were not for our officiant, and DJ, our wedding day would not have been planned, organized, or run smoothly. Even though the site is beautiful, we WOULD NOT recommend this venue.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Although the gazebo where the wedding itself is was stunning, the indoor area around the fireplace is nothing to disregard either. Everything is open, clean, and breathtakingly gorgeous. The country club itself is beautiful. Everyone did their best to try to help make our big day perfect. The only complaint we had was the lack of communication when the event coordinators changed hands. Due to the pandemic, this was an almost three year process for the two of us. In that time frame, we had several different coordinators where only once or twice we were actually told the coordinator changed. The venue is beautiful, but the lack of outreach at times did make the process a little more nerve-wracking since we were never entirely sure what information transferred over between coordinators. Tara was exceptionally helpful regardless with getting our last minute decorations set up, finding the time for us to have a quick rehearsal, and in helping to keep everything running smoothly the day of.

The customer service and internal communication needs a big overhaul for this venue. We went through three points of contact in the year of planning with them for our wedding and every point of communication was me following up with them never the other way around, and when we are paying so much money to have our wedding at your venue we expect a certain level of communication. There were a lot of things that went back and forth on what we could have and what we couldn’t. Staff members were unaware of our wedding happening the day before, and While the day of our wedding was great and Tara and Sal did everything they could to make our day special, there were still some hiccups like not providing transportation for our grandmother from the ceremony back to the venue and forgetting to put food out. We ended up having a great day but would never recommend Riverview for the experience we had leading up to the day.

Riverview country club is an absolutely beautiful location with a gorgeous reception room and grounds. It is a shame they don’t put more into their weddings. We booked prior to covid and had 4 event coordinators along the way, with the last one quitting a week before our wedding we were put with a way too young person who obviously did not want the job of wedding coordinator. Our rehearsal dinner was put in a tent where they didn’t put out table cloths, did not bus the tables when we were finished eating and they changed the menu on me hours before the dinner was to start. On the day of the wedding I was lucky enough to have vendors who had been there before to make my day run smoothly. The servers never checked table numbers or verified food orders so food was brought out to the wrong tables and cold. If you are bringing in your own coordinator your day may be less stressful, but their communication and lack of professionalism towards their weddings leaves a lot to be desired. If you can handle the extra stress of dealing with a venue like this the location and beauty is worth it.

The Riverview Country Club is an absolutely breathtaking venue, with amazing views, beautiful ceremony and reception areas and an incredible menu. Although they went through a few wedding planners after I had booked the venue, Morgan, the current wedding planner and her assistant Maria were absolutely amazing! After she had taken over, everything went so smooth and she was always willing to go above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. This venue offers an so many food and drink options and allows you make adjustments to accommodate your budget. The venue itself needs little to no décor as it is so beautiful and unique, my guests raved about how incredible the food was and my husband and I had such a care free wedding day due to their organization and professionalism.

I want to thank Riverview Country Club and staff for our beautiful wedding day! This place is a hidden gem. We got some many compliments from our guests. The staff were super attentive too throughout the whole day. Looks like Riverview already beat me to the punch ;) but sharing some photos of one incredible day! Its such a beautiful venue both during the day and at night. I want to give a special thanks to Morgan for working so hard to make our vision come true and make sure thingd ran smoothly! The one thing I'll advise for future brides at this place is check in 6 weeks, 4 weeks, and 2 weeks prior to your wedding date to make sure you have the same POC! Throughout the year I dealt with Riverview's event coordinator leaving twice and noone notified me that the person left. It took me realizing that noone was responding to my e-mails or showing up to appointments booked to realize that the person was no longer there. The last person left weeks before my wedding, so suddenly my third coordinator and I had to scramble together to finalize details that were supposed to be done a month ago by the person who left. So stressful! Riverview should have a standard e-mail (i.e. weddings@riverview.com) vs personal emails to avoid confusion during staff transitions. The new person can use the same e-mail like you would your office phone #

Riverview Country Club as a venue overall was a positive experience. However, there were multiple bumps in the road on our way to the wedding day. I can definately say the price was reasonable and very up front (its posted online). Also we got discounts for military and friday wedding which was great! I also got a free champagne toast! The gazebo is beautiful and the layout of the space is very open with natural light which is what I wanted. The fire place is a nice addition and the bathrooms and overall color scheme are well designed and kept in good shape. The boardwalk is nice and a dramatic entrance but went well, no trips or snags! The only downfall is a lack of a bridal space, i had to hide in the mens bathroom while women were using the bathroom prior to the ceremony. As for the food, it tastes great and the tasting was complimentary for the couple. However, the communication and wedding coordinator turnover was a huge problem. During the 1.5 years I planned my wedding, we had gone through 4 wedding coordinators. The last one we worked with, Morgan, came into our lives 18 days before the wedding when we just had a final payment and meeting the weekend before with another coordinator (lets name her Alexus). I found out by emailing Alexus when a manager (Mike) emailed me back saying Alexus was no longer with them. To my shock, horror and anger, I had to meet a whole new coordinator to plan and setup my very important day! I was frustrated because Alexus didn't tell us she was leaving when she knew she was and did not appear excited about our event. In addition, Morgan our new coordinator was thrown into this and I had to redo seating charts and meal selections and resend information over to her whilst reconfirming details over the phone because the previous coordinator didnt take thorough notes. Thats alot of additional stress so close to a wedding. Morgan was a professional through this process and I appreciate her efforts to make my day run as smoothly as possible. She was accomodating, reassuring, excited about the event, attentive, and made the venue look beautiful. During photos at the venue, although it is a golf course, it was frustrating for us to have to move because people were golfing. The manager Mike was keeping an eye on us to make sure none would fly our way and one came in our direction. If i am paying good money to have this event, golf needs to stop for an hour. The manager would tell our photographer to move out of a great photography spot because of fear of golf balls flying nearby. In addition, my bridesmaids told me they got incorrect meals (one was supposed to get beef and she got chicken parm) and one of the servers was rude to multiple guests. Furthermore, one of the managing servers was giving my photographer attitude about using the golf carts to get to places we needed for photography and we couldnt go without her, as she had to supervise us because its a liability. She looked like she didnt want to be there. Other than that, everything ran on time, smoothly and great. The guests had a wonderful time, the venue looked great and I loved my day!

We got married at Riverview this past August and everything was amazing!! Staff was right by your side the whole day for anything and everything you needed! The outdoor and indoor spaces are equally gorgeous which is what sold us on this spot!! Highly recommend.

The venue was beautiful and willing to work with our price range. Their venue is just gorgeous! It was a truly beautiful day.

As others have mentioned, Riverview went through a few wedding coordinators over the past year but Erica was the one who we had our final meeting with and worked with the day of our wedding. There was definitely some confusion with communication because of the transition but everything turned out beautifully. All of our guests were raving about the beautiful venue and the entire day. Thank you for everything and for making sure our wedding day went smoothly!

Literally couldn't have had the best day ever without Riverview Country Club. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more!

This was the perfect place for our wedding. My husband and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue. We went through a few coordinators but ended up with Erica. She’s a wonderful, wonderful woman! The venue accommodated all of our needs, even the weird ones. And the venue was beautiful and pretty affordable! Erica stayed with me until I walked down the aisle. Before that my husband and I were a wreck and she made sure we were both okay. Staff was very attentive to all of our needs and all of our guests needs. This place was just amazing!

Well, after three different wedding consultants came and went during my year of planning, FINALLY Erica came into the picture and saved the day. Yes, it was frustrating being bounced from one consultant to another without so much as a courtesy email letting me know of the change. But let me tell you, ALL of my guests loved the venue. Everything from the food to the ceremony was beyond perfect. Erica and her team did an amazing job putting everything together. I walked into the reception hall for the first time and my breath was taken away. She decorated it exactly how I wanted. Not to forget her hard working staff that made sure I always had either a water or a beer in my hand. The gazebo for the ceremony was so picture perfect- if you are looking for an easy all-inclusive (and affordable) venue I'm telling you this is the place. The food was so good most of my guests went up for seconds and thirds. The reception hall is beautiful and open with large windows that allow so much natural sunlight to come through, no small feeling, boxed in reception hall here. Hands down I would recommend this place to everyone, you get so much bang for you buck.

Riverview is a beautiful, unique location to get married. It was the perfect backdrop for our big day with beautiful views, indoor-outdoor set up, and open spaces. They easily accomodated everything we were looking for and made our night extra special! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

If you want a gorgeous venue with awesome spots for pictures, exceptional service, fabulous staff, and the perfect wedding, The Riverview Country Club is the spot. My husband and I got married 10/28/2017 and everything exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious and we felt so comfortable with Jenna and Jacquelyn! They made everything so smooth flow wise! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue. It was a perfect fall night and they aided to our guests. The venue was spacious and was gorgeous inside and out! This is your place. Cancel your other venue appointments. Stop driving hours into the depths of Pennsylvania looking for "unique" venues. This is the place you *want* to be. Jenna/Jackie (RVCC's TWO venue coordinators) are your dream team. Beyonce's of the North-Eastern Leigh High Valley wedding world. I couldn't have asked for a better duo. They were extremely attentive to my needs and left no question unanswered. Which is astounding to be frank, since I planned my wedding all the way from Florida and I would harass these girls about 4x a day; flooding their inboxes with emails. For me, the confirmation I had chosen the right venue came at the very end of the wedding planning, as I was dropping off my decorations the day before so that Jenna/Jackie could be begin setting up for my event (They do your dirty work for you! No need to stress over decorations. They set-up/breakdown). You have to understand I'm extremely OCD. I drew out every single table/decoration on what I had envisioned in my head so that my ideas were easily understood. I'll never forget the moment I handed the girls my blueprints and as I started to walk away to begin setting up the ceremonial decorations (I chose to do this on my own because the fake flowers needed to be positioned in a certain way), they immediately began to work. By the time came back inside, their noses were pressed against my blueprints and without skipping a beat, I could see my visions slowly becoming a reality. The day-of was truly amazing. The girls went above and beyond to transform the venue into something out of a whimsical fairy-tale. Even little decorations that I had thrown into a box, they somehow managed to find a home for them. I cannot speak more highly of this venue. The grounds alone are incredible, INCREDIBLE. Who knew something so unique and beautiful could be hidden in the crevasses of Easton, PA? Simply stunning. My review for Wedding Wire got cut-off but I also wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to a waitress by the name of Maureen?. I can't quite remember her name but she worked Fri, 06/30/17. WHAT AN ANGEL <3 She came out to us as we were taking pictures to offer us beverages and food. She even packed away my dinner at the end of the night when she noticed I wasn't eating (thank-god! the food was AMAZING!!!!). Jackie and Jenna are amazing coordinators!! As is everyone that worked my wedding in May! They were prompt in responding to emails and getting information to us during the planning process. The venue was beautifully decorated for us and they did not mind all of the decorating my parents wanted to add. Jenna was our main contact person, she made a point to come check on my husband and I while we hid out back waiting to start final pictures. Servers brought food out to us during a pictures, and made a point to find us frequently throughout the night to get any drinks we may have wanted. For that, I did not even have to go to the bar once that night! I did hear some say it took a little while to get fed, but we had 150 people and I know they plate immediately before serving to ensure hot dinners go out, so that was appreciated overall. They food was DELICIOUS. They have a rule that if you aren't out 30 minutes after the close of your event you owe additional money. Well they didn't let that happen. They were so quick to take things down and clean everything! They washed the faux tier of our cake, our personal toasting flutes and boxed up the desserts before we even realized. Their entire venue is beautiful inside and out. The only downfall to the grounds is their unpaved parking lot, but that was so minor.

Our NYE wedding was absolutely perfect, from the venue to the food to the staff. Jacqueline was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. We would not change a thing and would absolutely recommend.

We had Gorgonzola chicken and grilled salmon for our entrees and everyone loved the food! The setting at Riverview is perfect for a wedding. All the staff is friendly, professional and helpful. Riverview was the perfect venue for our wedding! Our wedding coordinator, Jenna, was very responsive and helpful. When we met, she guided us through the process of planning the day and making sure their service & options fit the casual-station-style of reception we were looking for. The staff set up all of our DIY displays and signs (they did forget to put out the polaroid refills unfortunately), but they did a great job with the rest. The Mayor of Easton was even at the carving meats at the station & greeting guests! The grounds were also landscaped beautifully. We were happy with recently upgraded seating in the venue as well. Entire place was clean, staff was great, and everyone was very pleased with the food - it was delicious!! Thank you, Jenna! -The Cressmans

We had our wedding reception at Riverview Country Club and LOVED it! Jacqueline and Jenna were both so easy to work with - accommodating to requests that we had, timely in their responses, and did a fantastic job of getting every single detail of the day! So many of our guests remarked how beautiful Riverview is (both inside and out!) and how delicious the food was! WE could not agree more! Riverview is a beautiful venue, no matter the time of year. We were married in August and the landscaping (flowers, trees, pond, fountain etc) added such depth to our experience and our photos. It is very modern, which was a nice change up from some of the other "dated" country clubs we visited. Riverview will fit the taste of anyone. The Villa on the Green was designed with the surrounding landscape in mind - it pays homage to the beautiful grounds by being about 90% windows - tons of natural light and a beautiful vaulted, domed ceiling. Everyone in attendance had nothing but great things to say about the venue. It is truly an amazing hidden gem in Easton. You must see this place in person. When we reviewed the photos online we were not super impressed. As soon as we walked inside the villa, we were blown away at how different it looked in person. The windows are amazing. The stonework and patio are beautiful as well, and the long boardwalk out to the gazebo makes for some incredible photos. Do not overlook Riverview in your venue search. Jenna was our event coordinator, and she was extremely easy to work with. She was very responsive to all of our questions and requests, and made sure that we were comfortable with everything. Thank you Jenna - it was a pleasure working with you and the rest of the Riverview staff! Everyone was very accommodating! The feedback on the food was also very positive, and we found it to be quite tasty (both appetizers and main course). We upgraded our bar package to include all the liquor, beer and wine. However, there were some people who noted that the drinks were a little weak - order a double. There is generally plenty of parking and room for a full size bus to accommodate your guests. a few final notes: Riverview is modestly priced. We could not find a better value nor a place that was quite as beautiful in the Philadelphia suburbs. Also, the golf course is very nice and you get 4 free rounds for booking your event here, which is really just a bonus on top of everything else. This place is REALLY nice. I think you get it. We cannot say enough about how happy we were with RCC, Jacquelyn, and the entire staff! We were a bit concerned initially, seeing as some older reviews said that the food took forever to come out or the staff was unorganized....this was not the case AT ALL with our wedding. Everything seemed perfectly planned and our guests had a wonderful time (we did, too!) Jacquelyn was always able to answer any questions we had and was incredibly kind and easy to work with. Our head waitress for the night was also INCREDIBLE, her name is also Jacquelyn. My husband and I never wanted for anything throughout the entire evening. We always had food at our seats and drinks at the ready for us. In addition to the great staff, our guests raved about how beautiful the entire venue was. We are from North Jersey, and many of our guests are used to the big, over the top, NJ/NY weddings, and they were blown away to be at a venue that was so incredibly different from the "norm". Thank you RCC for making our special day so incredible!!!!!

We had our wedding here this past weekend and couldn't have been more happier with how everything went. We were very fortunate to have great weather, but Riverview was prepared if rain were to arrive. The venue also provides a great backdrop for pictures. Jenna was great to deal with and she responded to all of my questions quickly. Jackie was very helpful at the rehearsal and during our wedding. The staff was extremely friendly and made sure my husband or I were always with food or drink. All of our guests commented on how great the food was and how beautiful the venue was. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, beautiful location Riverview is definitely a place to consider!

My daughter just got married at Riverview. The place was gorgeous and the food was very good and we got plenty to eat. The wait staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had a great evening and enjoyed our time there. Gorgeous pictures! The only negatives were that since it was a very cold day we had to have the ceremony inside. This left no place for the bride to dress except the bathroom. I would strongly suggest that this venue consider having a bridal room for the bride and bridesmaids to prepare and stay hidden. They shoved us in a small corner that was full of supplies to hide as the people (who we previously had to keep locked out) came in. With people coming from out of town many were there early and couldn't use restrooms or get out of the cold. I felt stressed as I tried to help my guests understand and keep my daughter from being seen as pre pictures were being taken. Adding something like this would greatly improve the value of your service. Overall tho.. we had a great day and thoroughly enjoyed the food, as did our friends and family.

My fiancé found Riverview Country Club online and once we saw it in person, we were sold! We got married outside by the gazebo and the scenery outdoors could not have been more beautiful! So many people commented on the beauty of the venue and the scenery. The service was great throughout the whole evening - my champagne glass was never empty. They don't have a bridal suite to wait before the ceremony but we went to the club house and it was perfect for what we needed - a room away and privacy from guests. The golfers there were very nice and even applauded when I came in. Jacqueline was great to work with and when she got married two days before me, Jenna stepped in seamlessly. I am so happy we went with Riverview! Perfect location!

Venue was great- we were looking for something with lots of natural light and this definitely delivered! Really great space and they helped out with whatever we needed. Highly recommend!

Riverview was affordable, friendly, so supportive and helpful, BEAUTIFUL, and gave us excellent quality!! We had a lot of our guests comment on how lovely everything was from the scenic views to the food and drink! The waitstaff was quick and efficient and catered to our every whim!

I had my wedding here and I was beyond happy with how everything went. The Villa on the Green where they host events is breathtaking all on it's own. The building is all stone and wood and floor to ceiling windows which look out on the golf course and rolling hills and cute gazebo where we had our ceremony. Almost a month later and everyone is still gushing about how gorgeous the venue was. Besides that, Jenna was a pleasure to work with. She was very laid back, but professional and accomodated every little thing we asked of her. She was there to make sure nothing went awry on our wedding day and helped us coordinate our rehearsal when none of us knew where to start. She was absolutely awesome! The rest of the staff was very nice and we even had our own server to bring us food and drinks. I heard the food was good and the bit I got to eat was delicious. But, being the bride, and having a ton of guests flooding our little sweetheart table I didn't get a chance to indulge in that as much as I wanted to. Overall, I really don't have enough good things to say about Riverview. The location is beautiful, the staff is great, the price was definitely reasonable (really one of the first things that drew us here) and I can safely say everyone who attended our wedding, myself and my husband included, were very impressed with the whole thing. Thanks to everyone at Riverview who helped make our wedding great!

We absolutely LOVED our reception at The Villa on the Green! From start to finish, the coordinating team at Riverview was fantastic. We wanted a laid-back atmosphere and they allowed for just that. They worked with our budget, my dairy-allergy and all other requests in between. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and fantastic for photo opps all day/night for your guests! I would recommend this venue over and over again. Our guests enjoyed every minute of the reception!

I love the pictures I have at Riverview Country Club! The background is so beautiful no matter what the season. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful!

Riverview was a great venue! The Villa on the Green was so beautiful and elegant that besides the tables, the only "decor" we opted for was bringing the floral pieces from the church over to the reception! No need for more. The events coordinator was very experienced and helpful, the meetings and tasting wonderful. Many little touches... They provide a butler for the bridal party to make sure you get some food and drink if you're taking pictures during the cocktail hour. The staff person came out to meet us within a minute of arriving. Food was wonderful. Very accommodating. My dad's pretty picky about his beers, and while it was a back-and-forth to see what was available from his choices, they allowed us to pick whatever beers they could get for the premium open beer and wine bar. We loved it, our guests raved, and our DJ and photographer were well taken care of!

As soon as I saw pictures of this venue I knew this was the place I was going to have my wedding. Prior to my special day, the Riverview staff was great (especially since I was traveling back and forth from Maryland). Jenna was great with working around my schedule. My wedding day, the personal attendants went out of their way to make sure the bridal party was organized, feed, and had plenty of drinks. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend this venue to any bride!

I had my wedding here in May and I can not say enough wonderful things about riverview. Jenna and her staff are a joy to work with and make your day as stress free as possible. The venue is gorgeous and the food is amazing!

The second we walked into this venue to check it out we fell in love. As we walked around the property, we knew this place was where we wanted to have our reception! Jenna S., one of the coordinators, was absolutely awesome! She responded to all of our e-mails or phone calls quickly. THe day of the wedding went smoothly too. Everything was fantastic. We had a buffet dinner, and people were commenting on how it was some of the best food they ever had! The open bar was amazing, the staff just amazing- very attentive to everything we requested and needed. I would't hesitate a second to recommend having a wedding here!

I have nothing but good words to say about Riverview Country Club. From the staff to the setting itself-- it is all MARVELOUS. Jenna Strausser, the event coordinator, was nothing but help. She helped us with everything from reducing our costs to making sure our guests who had to leave early had something to eat. Service was impeccable. A lot of my wedding guests were from Manhattan and they were so impressed by everything.

My husband and I fell IN LOVE with the Villa on the Green venue. The place is absolutely gorgeous. At first, the event coordinator was very friendly and would get back to us fairly quickly. More towards the wedding, it took her longer and longer to get back to us. We had met with her a week before the wedding and discussed the order of events including times for everything. On the day before the wedding, we were supposed to meet her to drop off favors, guestbook, etc and she was not there. On the wedding day, the coordinator and the staff did not start putting the dinner out until a half hour AFTER it was suppose to START. We had a half hour where our guests were just sitting there wondering what was going on and why dinner wasn't out yet. The place itself is worth the money... the coordinator is not.
