Hi! We’re Tracy & Kyle — the husband-and-wife team behind RKH Images.
We’ve been photographing weddings since 2010, and after more than a decade and hundreds of weddings, one thing has never changed: we genuinely care about our couples and their experience.
We believe the best wedding photos happen when you feel comfortable, relaxed, and able to be yourselves. Our style is a natural mix of candid, emotional moments and classic portraits — so you’ll have photos that feel real and the ones your families will love.
We’re very hands-on throughout the process. From helping you build a realistic photography timeline to quietly guiding you when needed, we’re there to support you without ever taking over your day. Many of our couples tell us they felt like we were part of the celebration — not just vendors showing up with cameras.
Our editing style is true-to-life and timeless. We don’t chase trendy filters or muted tones — we want your photos to look like your day actually felt, even 20 or 30 years from now.
Based in Burnsville, Minnesota, we photograph weddings throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin (with no travel fees for Wisconsin). Whether your day is big or small, laid-back or elegant, our goal is the same: to give you photos you’ll love and an experience you’ll genuinely enjoy.

Kyle and Tracy are the best decision you’ll make (besides saying “I do”). They are an absolute dream team.
From the very first message to the final gallery delivery, they were exceptionally organized, responsive, and thoughtful. Their customer service? Outstanding. But what truly sets them apart is how genuinely kind, generous, and warm they are. Of all the vendors we worked with, Kyle and Tracy were hands-down the NICEST people we met during the entire wedding process—and that’s saying a lot.
They have this incredible gift for making you feel comfortable and celebrated. Getting our photos taken—something we were a little nervous about—turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the day. They made it FUN. They kept us laughing, helped our families feel relaxed, and somehow coordinated the entire production with grace and ease. No chaos, no stress—just joyful, beautiful moments captured perfectly.

When I saw the website for RKH Images, I felt something special. Nevermind finding a wedding photographer, I wanted to be friends with Kyle and Tracy.
Of course, it was possible that the photos on the website were just snapshots of the best moments, and that Kyle and Tracy would be completely different in person. This was not the case. They invited us to their house for a consultation, and it felt every bit the same as their website. Not a pristine and uniform office, but a home.
Kyle and Tracy are not novices. They have a chill and friendly demeanor but when it comes to their work they exude confidence and experience. All of their business information was organized and easy to understand. They explained everything well, and we knew exactly what to expect from start to finish. We weren’t always sure about what we wanted, but they got a feel for our preferences and were comfortable filling in the gaps.
I was nervous going into the engagement shoot; I’m not a natural in front of the camera. They were completely at ease, confident, and ready to have a good time frolicking in the park. We followed their lead and before long we were relaxed and having a good time as well. We tried to be natural, they offered suggestions, and they kept the cameras going.
The engagement shoot translated 100% to the wedding day. I was stressed trying to keep track of too many things. I knew the schedule would get even busier as soon as the photographers arrived. Except, it was kind of the opposite? They didn’t “take charge” of my wedding by any means, but they were so obviously in their element that everything seemed to fall into place around them.
I had a convenient enough spot picked out for photos but it did lack a certain charm. They asked why I wasn’t interested in the beautifully forested area on the other side of the property and I told them I just wasn’t able or willing to walk that far in my wedding outfit in any reasonable amount of time. Kyle was like “Oh is that all? No no we will drive you over there. It will take two extra minutes and it will be perfect. Let’s go.” They were entirely sure about where they wanted to take photos, and had no problem wrangling people to be photographed. I feel guilty admitting this, but I leaned on Kyle emotionally a few times throughout the day. It wasn’t his responsibility and it wasn’t in his job description but he handled my anxieties with grace and his pep talks had me immediately feeling like I could do this. He was an incredible blessing that day and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated having them both around.
Kyle and Tracy worked hard all day, handled the event like a force of nature, and still looked like they were having a good time. I was aware of some bigger things going on in their personal lives, but they kept communication open and were always honest about their expectations. They managed their work and personal life beautifully. They were frequently busy with other jobs, but communication was efficient and I always felt like a priority. It’s maybe a little dramatic, but I sincerely believe hiring RKH Images was one of the best decisions I made on this entire wedding planning journey. I can’t thank them enough, and I hope they are thriving.

They made posed shots really easy – we didn’t miss any (despite so many people!), and Kyle really put everyone at ease and made it fun. I only wish that we had a couple more versions of the big family photos. They really shone on candids, too, which is a big reason why we hired them in the first place: even when a chaotic flash mob took over the dance floor, they were ready to jump right in the middle of it taking fantastic pictures. We’re really glad we paid for an extra hour so they could capture that and the rest of the dance floor!
Beyond the photography, they’re also great at consistent, organized communication (a must for any wedding vendor), and they got our images back to us in record time. We’re really glad we chose them!

The rate at which we received our photos after our engagement shoot and our wedding was perfect! They sent a few samples that showed the quality and attention to detail, and the remaining complete albums were sent within a week! So fast but so much attention to detail and great editing. We also loved their blog posts as a way to share photos with friends and family and we enjoyed browsing other couples' albums as well! They are a husband and wife team that knows what you want because they have been in your same position. They are very responsive and respectful taking the time to make your ideas into a reality. Because they have done this for years they know exactly how to get that perfect photo that you will cherish and display till death do you part. Honestly when my wife first came to me with options for photographers this was the one I liked, as well as her obviously, but my fondness of them came before even meeting them. When I looked at their photos I didn’t see the same old pose with the same perfect looking individuals. I saw real people having real life events that will now be preserved forever on film. short engagement. We were worried about being able to find vendors on such a short notice, but were so happy when we found Kyle and Tracy. We met with them and they were SO nice. Working with them was more like hanging out with friends rather than what we thought working with a photographer would be like.
They made us feel very comfortable both for our engagement photos and on our wedding day. They also were there whenever we had a question, whether it be before or after the wedding. Just great people all the way around.
I nearly forgot to mention the photos themselves. They were fantastic and they caught so many moments we either forgot about or just didn't see (aka: our wedding party coming down the aisle). We are so happy with them.

nd Tracy (RKH) on Zola and proceeded to check every website I could for reviews. As such I am leaving a review on every site I can find them. I scrolled through hundreds and could find one short of 5 stars. Trust me when I tell you stop right here ALL, and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE I FOUND of the reviews were 5 stars and still FELL SHORT of how amazing and easy it was to work with them.
If you don’t believe me yet I want to outline a few things about Kyle and Tracy.
Our first time reaching out was via email and we received an almost immediate response which set us up with a phone call meeting. To be fair we set up 3 meetings with different photographers and Kyle and Tracy was our first call. Kyle is very experienced in shooting many different events including weddings. We enjoyed him thoroughly answering our questions and sharing experiences he has had. Outside of this he was genuinely interested in asking us about our story, where we met, how long we have been together etc. This was a tremendous surprise as we thought it would be straight business. When we hung up not only did, we already know they were the photographers we wanted to go with, it also felt like we made new friends. Over the next 5 months and several exchanges of emails and phone calls we were all set for our big day. If that wasn’t enough, they also took time aside to meet us in person as we were no longer local.
On the wedding day!
Kyle and Tracy showed up early and with plenty of energy. The teamwork we experienced on the phone was amplified in person and everything they prepared us for made the day that much more enjoyable. I want to skip over the experience of taking candid shots (their gallery speaks for itself) and talk about some of the special requests we made. Planning a wedding in Minnesota can be tricky with the weather so during planning we went over a few different scenarios. We started off wanting photos of the ceremony inside the church and a few outside of the reception venue, weather permitting we wanted a couple with a sunset. What we got were amazing photos of the ceremony, our wedding party, guests, large family photos, AND many many artistic shots. These include sunset and nighttime photos (Check out their gallery and Instagram). It wasn’t enough for them to take photographs for ~9hours and go home. They made the experience so enjoyable for parents and bridal party members such that they went looking for Kyle and Tracy to say goodbye. Just before they left Tracy pulled me aside for just a moment to tell me to check my phone as she had already sent me a preview of 5 photos from the day. Seriously, when else do you get to leave your wedding with a preview in your pocket?!?
What is a good review without covering the negative side? My only regret with hiring them is that even with all of the preparation and hard work they put in before the wedding is I didn’t bring enough to tip. We went around and asked a few people if they had cash so we could leave them as much as we could before they left.
If you made it this far the next thing you should do is call them right away!

Note their contract says 6-8 weeks I think but they have a program that helps filter out duplicates and they stay on top of editing. Also included in the package is an engagement session which I highly recommend because it helps you get a feel for what it will be like to take wedding photos. Per my husband "they are really awesome and a blast", note he does not like taking photos but he was able to have fun and relax with them.

Day of, they were on time and on task. They did a great job organizing the afternoon to make sure we got every photo we wanted, and were very creative in where we took pictures across the venue. They treated her like family, answering questions she had within minutes (sometimes late at night). She and her husband received a thank you gift from RKH Images after booking, was given great advice prior to the day of, and then the day of was just spectacular. I was the maid of honor and we all felt comfortable with Kyle and Tracy when it came to posing for wedding party photos. They were just so nice and it was clear they wanted everyone at the wedding to have fun. Not only that, they got samples of their day within 24 hours of the wedding that we could all enjoy!! :) I was in my other sister's wedding and I have to say, it was the opposite experience. Very much there just to photograph and go. RKH Images provides not only amazing photographs, but customer service that cannot be matched. I recommend them to everyone and will be using them if the day ever comes for me! :)

ed, I had an idea of how busy this would be and I was nowhere near what it was actually like. Hiring RKH Images took so much stress off of us. Their whole goal is to make sure you are stress free when it comes to photography, and hopefully for the day. Kyle kept telling us, "You two worry about getting married, we worry about the photography." He wasn't kidding. I didn't have to worry one bit about the photos.
Kyle and Tracy are highly organized and prepared, which I appreciate. Their customer service is TOP NOTCH. Tracy would always reply to my questions within MINUTES, not days or even weeks like I had experienced with other vendors. I was so grateful for that. It shows in their photography that they really know and care about their clients.

Our day started a little late and we were really nervous. They calmed us and had already included some extra time in our timeline ahead of time in case there were any issues, so we got everything done with plenty of time to spare.
