Royal Golf Club is beautiful and the majority of our wedding was lovely. The Event Coordinators were generally very prompt in responding to any questions I had, and were very helpful throughout the entire planning process. We did have a couple issues leading up to our wedding day and on the day of the wedding; specifically regarding catering pricing changes and a lack of communication about specific pre-approved items to all of the staff present on our wedding day. This added stress and tension during our wedding that I feel could have been avoided/prevented. The event coordinators were very receptive to my feedback, took these shortcomings seriously, and did what they could to make things right for me after the fact, which was very much appreciated.

I cannot recommend the Royal Golf Club enough for a wedding! They have an amazing space for your reception and a stunning outdoor ceremony location as well. The outdoor ceremony location with the pond view is what sold us on this wedding venue. And the indoor reception space was icing on the cake. The large windows that overlook the course make the room feel larger than it is, provide a beautiful view, and give amazing natural light. We absolutely loved that everything was in the same location. Being able to have the dance floor, dinner, and bar all in one room made the day feel more cohesive and kept our guests together. The balcony is amazing too as it is connected & allows guests to step outside while still being part of the party. Additionally, the staff are absolutely amazing to work with. Meredith & Annie are first class wedding venue managers/event directors. They were so helpful and accommodating to our needs. They were also so responsive to our questions and emails. Their communication skills are top tier which we appreciated so much while planning a wedding. And Nate the bartender makes every wedding here fun! I cannot recommend the Royal Golf Club enough.

Meredith & Annie were so fantastic to work with! They made planning our day such a breeze. I loved that food & beverages were through the venue as well. This cut down on a lot of stress/planning. We received so many compliments on our food! We had the Minnesota Chicken & Beef Brisket. The staff the day of our wedding were fantastic too. All the servers & bartenders were so friendly. The bridal suite & groom’s room was such a nice amenity to have. I really wanted somewhere we could do it all at one location, and the Royal Golf Club provided that. 10/10 would recommend this venue to any bride.

If I could re-live every wedding moment at The Royal, I would in a heart beat! We are filled with so much gratitude for everything The Royal did for us to make our wedding day more than spectacular. From start to finish, Meredith and Annie went above and beyond to communicate with us and our vendors, answer any and all questions, facilitate venue visits, and overall helped transform our wedding day vision into a reality. They are extremely professional, personable, and amazing to work with. The executive chef Christian is phenomenal, and the food was exquisite. The serving staff and bartenders were top notch and incredibly kind. The building itself is gorgeous with breathtaking views, outdoor spaces, incredible lighting, endless scenery spots for photo opps, and an open atrium/lobby for guests to visit. The bridal/groomsmen suites are updated, and equally spacious and comfortable for getting ready. There is a reason all of our vendors were thrilled to be at The Royal for our wedding day. We continue to be in awe of this venue. Meredith, Annie, and The Royal team - thank you for everything you did to make our wedding magical. We have received so many compliments and positive feedback about the venue, and would recommend it over and over again!

My husband and I had our reception at The Royal in August 2024 and it was an absolutely perfect day! Leading up to our big day Meredith was incredible to work with, we never felt any pressure from her and she was always able to answer our questions! The day of went spectacularly smooth, The Royal staff were so nice and were able to help with anything we needed. The venue itself is beautiful and our guests loved the balcony and outdoor fire places. I highly recommend The Royal to anyone!

My husband and I got married in May 2024 at Royal Golf Club and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. The indoor reception area was perfect for our celebration: it didn’t feel like we had to decorate to make the space look elegant, and comfortably fit our 200 guests. The wraparound balcony was a fun space for guests to enjoy cocktail hour and the course provided a breathtaking backdrop. The outdoor ceremony area by the pond was incredibly special, as it beautifully combined our love for golf and days on the water. Meredith, the venue coordinator, was truly fabulous to work with. She was always available to answer our questions and kept everything organized, ensuring the day went off without a hitch. From our first meeting, she was instantly relatable and brought a warm, kind presence that made the planning process feel personal and special. When the club announced it was going private at the beginning of 2024, we were nervous about the potential implications to our wedding day plans. The club pro was very accommodating, allowing the guys to golf as promised before the course went private, which added a unique and memorable touch to our wedding weekend. My husband and I were still able to sneak out for a quick sunset photo session on a tee box during dinner, which is a unique experience for a private golf course. Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was by Par Caterers. We highly recommend Royal Golf Club, we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to work with Meredith and her team. We hope to return to this special spot in the future. We got married on 8.16.24 and absolutely loved our venue selection at the Royal Golf Club! From the day we booked, to the day of our wedding, Meredith (Royal events coordinator) was so sweet, professional and accommodating to our vision for our day. We loved how flexible the Royal is, they do not nickel and dime us for little things we wanted to add into your day. I found this venue through Minnesota bride FB page and I’m so glad! It’s such a hidden gem and I heard many of my guests being in awe of how gorgeous the venue is. I love the layout of it and the gorgeous ceremony site is what drew me in! I started to work with Meredith and she was really great with communication. Then Annie took over for venue coordination when Meredith went on maternity leave and she was amazing as well! Very responsive to her emails especially as we got to closer to the wedding and answering all of my questions. The day of wedding staff was amazing! They took care of everything and the day ran so smoothly. They even put a water station out by my ceremony site due to the hot weather which I didn’t even have to ask. At dinner they were very quick with getting the food out and omg the food was amazing! We got so many compliments with the food! Overall, recommend getting married here!

The food was beyond amazing - we received so many compliments on how good the food was! The bartender was wonderful! The view is fabulous and the Royal room was perfect! The Royal Club hosted our July 2023 wedding ceremony and reception. It was the perfect day and we had so many compliments on how beautiful both the ceremony location and venue were. Our entire planning process was a breeze. The event coordinator, Meredith, is incredible. She is so sweet and knows everything there is to know about planning your wedding here. The Royal club does all of their own food/catering/bar which is one less vendor you need to worry about. The prices are fare and we our guests loved the food! Our bartender and serving staff were super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. We cannot recommend the Royal Golf Club and its staff enough!!

We got married at Royal Golf Club on 6/3/23. The venue is perfect; it is modern, beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming. The outdoor ceremony scenery and views are gorgeous. The golf course is stunning. Our groomsmen enjoyed a round of golf the morning of and only had wonderful things to say. The on-site bridal suite and groomsmen lounge were perfect for getting ready, drinking coffee & mimosas, pictures, and just hanging out. Meredith and Annie were both extremely accommodating throughout the entire planning process. They were both very kind, flexible, knowledgeable, and professional. I could not have planned the wedding without Meredith. She responded quickly to emails and always provided helpful insight and suggestions. I want to plan another event here solely to work with Meredith again; she's unbeatable. I can't say enough good things about RGC. Our day was truly perfect. It went so smoothly without a single issue. We would choose RGC over and over again!

We got married at the Royal Golf Club on June 16th, 2023 and we cannot say enough good words about this venue and Meredith and Annie! From the very beginning of searching for a venue through the end of our wedding night, we had such a great experience working with the RGC. Meredith is so professional and responds timely. Everything is very transparent and organized to ensure we felt confident with every last detail going into the big day. We received so many compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful the space is and how professional the event staff, bartenders, and catering staff are! Meredith and the team were SO accommodating with all of our requests, we were even able to custom-request our food menu and the chef knocked it out of the park to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. The food was all served hot and delicious and the bartenders were amazing throughout the whole evening. We wish we could re-live the day over and over again. Meredith made our wedding planning experience so enjoyable and helped us find other vendors, recommended decor ideas, and ensured that we had everything we wanted. We wish we could give the RGC more than 5 stars, it far exceeded our expectations, and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the entire staff who made our day so perfect!

We were married at Royal Golf Club in May 2023. From the beginning, I was in love with the venue. The event coordinator Meredith and new hire Annie are both absolutely fantastic. The entire team is responsive to questions, upfront and honest with contracts and pricing, and willing to work with you to make your vision a reality. Every one of our guests raved about the food and it truly felt like it was just us in the space even though there were golfers around. The getting ready room for the girls is stunning too. Our ceremony was out by the water and everything we could have asked for while wedding planning. It is important to ask questions and learn what they have and what they don't so you can be prepared (for example, outlets at the ceremony space but we needed to provide the microphone.) I asked and confirmed and all went perfectly!

I just got married here on June 2nd, 2023 and it was an absolute dream. From the tour, tastings, and the one on one meetings that I had requested — Meredith and her team were absolutely amazing! Meredith was great with communication the entire year leading up to our wedding day. She answered every single question I had in a very timely manner and helped me with ideas to make my visions come to life for my wedding. The day of the wedding, Meredith and the staff were so helpful with any needs of mine or my husbands. Our day went SO smoothly, I was in pure bliss the entire day thanks to Meredith and the golf club staff. The Royal Golf Club is such a beautiful venue that really speaks for itself. For starters, the bridal suite is seriously amazing! It is conveniently located right off of the reception space. There are three salon stations to get ready at which was so convenient for my makeup artists and hair stylist. It has a private bathroom as well which was super great. There are also many places to sit and relax to enjoy a nice mimosa in the suite while getting ready. The groomsmen had their suite located downstairs which also had a ton of seating space and a large TV that they utilized most of the morning while they relaxed. The Golf Club has so many beautiful spots to take photos and the ceremony spaces (inside or outside) are incredible. The reception space was laid out so nicely, and we had the option to change it up a bit to fit our vision! We received SO MANY kind words about both the ceremony space and the reception space. Our guests were in awe the whole night! I 100% recommend having your wedding at The Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo. We feel so blessed to have worked with such a wonderful team. You will not regret your decision on getting married here! ❤️

Meredith is the most wonderful person to work with! She is SO good at her job! She does so well at communicating, always patient, and SO kind. The Royal crew did an outstanding job from start to finish. We got so many compliments on this venue, the food, and staff. They have the BEST bartenders - outgoing, fun to work with, and all of our guests got their drinks FAST. We had some bad weather the day of the wedding and the staff did very well at communicating with us throughout the day and coming up with another plan to have the ceremony inside. I really appreciated them being so flexible for the day of our wedding. HUGE THANK YOU to Meredith and everyone who helped support our wedding day at the Royals. We got married on 9/30 it was the most perfect day we could've ever dreamed of! The venue is absolutely STUNNING. Beyond the venue itself, Meredith's bubbly and smiley personality pretty much made the tour for us. Meredith was extremely easy to work with and always responded in a timely manner. Everything was perfect and that certainly wouldn’t have happened without Merdith giving us guidance and direction during the past year and up through the event. Meredith is very good at what she does!!! We received a great deal of feedback from our guests on how beautiful the venue was and more importantly how wonderful the staff was. My husband and I cannot thank Meredith and the Royal Golf Club team enough for making our wedding day the best day ever. Meredith was beyond helpful throughout the entire process. She was flexible, accommodating, kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She was dealing with two very indecisive people, so we leaned on her experience and expertise to help guide us through the decision-making process. Everything went perfectly on the day of the wedding. I used to cringe at the cliché saying "best day ever," but I finally get it! We honestly had the most epic day ever. Meredith and the rest of the team checked in consistently throughout the day, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our guests RAVED about the venue. I can't tell you how many people asked, "How did you find this place?" They were highly impressed by the venue's beauty and the staff's professionalism. Some of our family golfed on the wedding day and had a great experience on the course. Needless to say, we had an outstanding experience, and we cannot give the Royal Golf Club a high enough rating. We would HIGHLY recommend it!

We had the most fun wedding day we could have ever imagined! The Royal Golf Club is not just a beautiful venue, but they have the most amazing staff helping throughout the day! Meredith at the golf club was such a huge help answering my many questions I had leading up to our day! On our very hot day, she made sure all the guests had bottles of water, something that was not on my mind and she took care of it! The food was INCREDIBLE!! So many guests complimented the food telling us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! We are so glad we chose the buffet style! Nate the bartender was so much fun, the guests loved interacting with him! What originally sold us on booking this venue was that we could have our dog there, such a huge bonus for us! We are so happy with our day and so glad we chose The Royal Golf Club!

Royal Golf Club was the most amazing venue I could've asked for!!! We held both our ceremony and reception here and everything went so smoothly. We held our Rehearsal Dinner here the night before our sons wedding. We all were thrown a curve ball when my Brother In Law had a stroke the night before. His 3 young kids were part of the wedding. The staff was so wonderfully kind and discrete when my sister and her kids were trying so hard to be present and positive and clearly they needed space to just be together and rest. The staff got all their meals packaged up to go and didn’t miss a beat when a few people switched tables to fill in empty seats so no one sat alone. Truly a blessing to have them helping us through en evening of mixed emotions.

Royal Golf Club is the perfect wedding venue with exceptional staff and the best coordinator, Meredith! From planning and preparing to the day of, Meredith and the rest of the staff at Royal Golf Club made sure everything was perfect and our day was everything we’d dreamed of. Meredith was extremely helpful every step of the way and was always polite and kind. Executive Chef Christian Ticarro was personable and assisted us in picking out our menu which was delicious. The Royal Club and event coordinator Meredith made our wedding day perfect and completely stress free! Meredith answered every question/email promptly and gave great vendor recommendations during the planning stages. She was available and assisted with anything needed on the day of the wedding and stayed to assist well into the reception. The catered food was delicious, we offered plated options and each plate came out individually covered and the food was fresh and hot! The reception venue is beautiful and has a simple elegance, while the outdoor ceremony space charms nestled between the golf greens and a picturesque lake. This venue is absolutely stunning and Meredith was amazing to work with. She was available to answer every little question I had and provided advice when I needed it based on she had seen done previously. She even accommodated some odd ball requests for the ceremony and worked with my mom and I seamlessly on payment. My husband was able to golf in the morning with his whole wedding party and shower & get ready at the venue. We had lunch provided by the club which was delicious and helped keep the energy for the day going. The bar was also open during the day so it gave plus one's and family members a place to hang out when pictures were happening. The outdoor ceremony location exceeded our expectations and the club was able to provide a golf cart to the space for our disabled and health compromised guests. The food was incredible and served plated to our expectations from the food tasting. Our guests are still raving about our selection of late night treats too! I cannot recommend this venue & Meredith enough to everyone!

We had the absolute best experience having our wedding at The Royal! The venue was amazing to work with, the food was so good, and the view from the reception space looking over the golf course and lake is amazing. Also, as a plus, there is a great outdoor space for yard games and bonfires. Meredith was so easy to work with, provided great suggestions, and made the day amazing. I would recommend anyone booking this wedding for their venue without any hesitation!

We got married on August 20, 2021 at The Royal Club and it was truly a day that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Last year, we went to a wedding here and we immediately fell in love with the venue. We thought that it would be out of our price range because of how gorgeous the venue is but we still reached out to inquire more. Meredith worked with us and our budget and she exceeded our expectations throughout the whole planning process. She was very attentive, answered all of our questions, and worked really hard the day of to make sure our needs were met. Meredith is the person you'd want on your team during your planning and day of process because of the expertise she provides. We are also golfers so it was a perk to play a few rounds the week of our wedding to take it all in. The course is absolutely beautiful, we were blessed to have great weather for our outdoor ceremony, and the indoor reception area worked perfectly for us and our guests. The Royal Club is one of the best kept secrets in the MSP Metro area! Highly recommend. -Nathan and Tesia

I should’ve written this review a long time ago but I can say it’s been over a year since our wedding in August of 2020 and we still can’t stop talking about how great Meredith and the Royal Club were! We truly couldn’t have gotten through planning a wedding during the Covid pandemic without Meredith! She was always so positive, answered all our constant questions and made sure our day was absolutely perfect, even through many changes! She really is the best and we are so grateful to her! The Royal Club is also a really gorgeous venue, we loved having our ceremony by the water, and hosting a cocktail hour outside! We have the most wonderful memories of our day! And so do our friends and family!

We had our wedding at the Royal Golf Club on August 15, 2021. We are beyond grateful for finding such a perfect venue for our day. Our ceremony was held outside overlooking the beautiful lake and the reception was perfectly hosted in their modern, naturally lit ballroom. Meredith was the most incredible event planner to work with. She accommodated for anything we requested, changed meals, adjusted tables and worked to make the day perfect! She was attentive and helpful the day of and always stayed positive despite working on multiple weddings and events on the same weekend. We absolutely loved our experience with the Royal Golf Club. Our favorite moment was looking up at our guests on the balcony during our sunset photos and soaking in their cheers and love from the golf course. We had our wedding on June 5th, 2021 at the Royal Golf Club and the entire day was amazing. It is a beautiful location and venue and we were so happy with the way our wedding turned out. Meredith was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions along the way. She was easy to connect with while we were planning our wedding and offered a lot of support. We had our wedding on May 1st after postponing due to COVID and The Royal Golf Club was easy to work with from start to finish! Meredith was very quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. It was so convenient to have everything all at the same location and the bridal suite is to die for! The food was amazing and the event staff were all wonderful!

It was a chilly day so Meredith & staff accommodated our every need when we decided to move the ceremony inside! We got married in September 2020 at the Royal Club and it was truly the best experience we could have hoped for! From the very beginning, Meredith was approachable, kind, and so generous. She was quick to reply to my many questions via email - it made the process so much smoother! The venue itself is GORGEOUS, we utilized the outdoor ceremony space and had many of our guests rave on about how they'd never seen a "golf course wedding" like the one we had. It was personal and intimate, yet big enough for our pre-pandemic guest count of 250. The food was wonderful, and they let you bring your own dessert without a cake cutting fee. We'd recommend weddings at the Royal Club to all of our recently engaged friends - it's a hidden gem!

We got married at the Royal Golf Club on 9/26/20 and it was the best day! We fell in love with the Royal Golf Club when we toured it and knew we wanted to get married there. The venue is beautiful on the inside and the outside and we also received a lot of compliments on the food as well. Meredith, the event and catering sales manager, was AMAZING to work with! She went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. Meredith is very sweet and she was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our entire wedding planning process. Planning a wedding during a pandemic created it's own set of challenges and added stress, but Meredith was so supportive and always reminded us that she was there for us. We are so happy we went through with our wedding date at the Royal Golf Club and we would definitely recommend this venue to anyone!

We got married at the Royal Club on August 15th 2020. we couldn’t of had a better day. Even if the midst of a pandemic it was perfect. Meredith W, The event coordinator, was so helpful throughout the whole process! She went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly, and we are so grateful. We got a lot of compliments on the food the service and even the golf course. So many great places for pictures and the ceremony space is beautiful. We will forever cherish our time there and can’t wait to come back for dinner or golfing to reminisce :)

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with the Royal Golf Club (RGC). From our initial meeting with Meredith to beyond the wedding day she has been in constant communication with us. We were in the unique situation of having a COVID wedding however we felt completely supported through the whole process. It was incredible the lengths that the RGC was willing to go for us so that we could still go through with our wedding day as planned with everyone's safety in mind. This is not even mentioning how beautiful the venue is, it is a modern/bright blank slate so you can truly make it your own. We feel so lucky to have been able to work with the staff at the RGC and would recommend them 100 times over to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

They were also very flexible and accommodating to our needs during the COVID-19 situation and worked to keep our best interests a priority. My husband and I can’t say enough amazing things about our whole experience with planning our wedding at the Royal Golf Club. From the exceptional help of our Event Coordinator, Meredith Wieland; to the drop dead gorgeous landscaping around the club house, the outdoor ceremony location, and the golf course itself; to the delectable menu they offer for cocktail hour, dinner and desserts. Royal is nothing short of amazing! We were so happy with everything our special day entailed and couldn’t have asked for a better venue and experience. Royal is a gorgeous venue - white and modern with lots of natural light! We absolutely adore Meredith, she is so sweet and very prompt at responding to even the littlest of questions! When we approached her with concerns about our June 2020 wedding, she was very supportive and understanding, and made postponing as painless as possible. The Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo has been wonderful and we haven't even had our wedding yet. Event coordinator Meredith has been more than helpful with us as we navigate postponing our June 2020 to 2021. They have been supportive every step of the way, even as I went back and forth on making a decision. I know other brides that have found it so difficult to communicate with their vendors during this time and I cannot imagine having this be any more difficult than it already has been. We are so excited for our day to come next year and I am so happy that we chose the Royal Gulf Club.

This is THE place to have a wedding reception! Everyone involved in the wedding process was so willing to help, provided great direction/recommendations, and was so very accommodating. The location is absolutely beautiful: lake, golf course, gazebo, and flowers...everything you could want for beautiful wedding pictures! I have absolutely no complaints with this up-and-coming reception site!

This was the perfect venue! Meredith is easy to work with and accommodating. It started raining as the ceremony started and the entire Royal Golf Club staff was supportive of us still wanting to do the ceremony outside. Our guests are still commenting on how it was the best food they've had at a wedding as well. Service at the venue was exceptional too, we loved Nate! Thank you to the entire staff for making our day so special.
