Royal Palace Dance Studio

We worked with Bethany and Julia, and they were both AMAZING. Bethany choreographed our dance and listened to what we wanted and didn’t want in a dance. Julia put the final touches on and helped us practice to perfection!

On a whim, we booked an introductory lesson to be able to be competent and have a reasonable "sway" for our first dance. Best decision ever. We were able to work with Bethany, who recommended a lesson package for us to be able to get a personalized first dance with us. She was extremely flexible and built our first dance piece by piece, not only based on our selected song, but each of our abilities. It was a hit and a blast to do amidst the wedding planning stress! If anyone is looking to have dance lessons or a choreographed first dance, I would recommend her to anyone!

We booked 20 lessons with Royal Palace and were so happy we did! Within 2 lessons we realized this would be an incredible dance. We worked most often with Lara as we loved her energy, style and attention to detail. After 16 lessons we were set, so we used our remaining lessons for the Father-Daughter dance with Dad. Our first dance was a highlight of the wedding, and our guests were blown away! We especially loved the way that our dance was designed to highlight the movement of the dress. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to highlight their first dance, even if they’re not dancers!!

There is not enough space in this box to write about the amazing patience, creativity, and absolute beauty that this studio entails - or the amount of work they put into what should be the simplest of creations. Chelsea worked with us completely on her own (with the exception of Rose who was absolutely amazing as well) to create a dance from scratch, with limited direction from us outside of our song...lol That woman has the patience of saint! I'm sure that she's sick of hearing that same country intro by now, but we can never express our gratitude for what turned out to be the best Saturday afternoons and the amazing moment we took the stage as newlyweds. The lessons were both fun and purposeful; the guidance was patient and kind, and the end result was more than I think either of us ever could've hoped for. We cannot say enough AMAZING things about this studio, our darling Chelsea, Rose who was SO helpful even in the two visits we worked with her, the beautiful open space to work in,... it would take a lifetime to try to put into words how this may have been the ABSOLUTE BEST INVESTMENT we made into our wedding... Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
