Rush City Bakery

We decided to go with an assortment of mini desserts and OH MY GOODNESS, they were amazing!!! We loved them and so did our guests! The process was pretty simple to book but I wish we could have found a time to meet in person to go over our cake. Unfortunately, there are only meetings on weekdays. Our cake didn't turn out at all like we were expecting design-wise but it was very tasty!

Meg is fantastic to work with and the bakery is hands down the best around! Quick to respond. Received lots of compliments on the cake and cupcakes.

Meg @ Rush City Bakery was an absolute delight to work with! She gave us exactly what we wanted, we had guests that are engaged asking where our cake was from so they could order from this bakery also! It was delicious & beautiful!

My husband and I hired Meg for our wedding at Grand View Lodge and, let me tell you, I so happy that we did! Meg was so wonderful to work with and extremely accommodating! She made the drive from Rush City to Nisswa Saturday afternoon and delivered the cupcakes/cake! She even stuck around and decorated our wedding cake and cupcakes with the greenery I provided! Not only did the dessert table look even better than I was expecting, the cupcakes/cake tasted absolutely phenomenal! We got so many compliments from our guests! I would 100% recommend Meg to anyone getting married! You can tell she has a passion for her work and she is extremely amazing at what she does! :)

We had such a great experience working with Rush City Bakery! Meg and her team were so wonderful and accommodating - I'm lactose intolerant and they were able to make us a wedding cake that tasted great and I could actually eat! We also have a number of family members with celiac disease, the gluten free options were delicious and such a treat for them, they were packaged separately so we could ensure they were not contaminated which is extremely important. They offer such a large variety of dessert options, our dessert spread included cannolis, brownie bites, pie bites, cupcakes, cheesecakes, etc., and we had so many compliments on the uniqueness and how delicious it all was. Meg was super organized and on top of everything and always made sure to follow up with us if needed, I never had to worry about anything!

Meg was really easy to work with and very responsive to questions and requests. The cupcakes are amazing and the set up was well done. Guests all wanted to know where the cupcakes came from and the Bavarian Bomb specialty cupcake flavor was a huge hit! Rush City Bakery made cake sampling incredibly easy during the pandemic. The delivery was uncomplicated and well executed!

Rush City Bakery: Rush City Bakery provided over 300 donuts for our wedding last weekend. All of our guests loved the idea! All of the donut flavors were delicious. We had bags for people to take donuts home at the end of the night and they cleared out because people enjoyed them so much. Everyone at the bakery was very professional and friendly. We worked with Meg and she was delightful! We ordered some of their gluten free chocolate donuts and they were amazing! It was great to have that option. We also had them deliver and set up the donuts and they did it all perfectly. Very glad that we went with them for this special day!

Meg at Rush City did an amazing job on our wedding cake and cupcakes! She was more than patient with all my questions and even created a cupcake flavor for the wedding at my request. The cupcakes were not only delicious but matched our wedding theme (something Meg did without my asking)! I couldn't have been happier. I just wished I'd requested more cupcakes so that we could have enjoyed leftovers!

Meg and Rush City Bakery were so great to work with. From the tasting, the cake, variety and day of, everything was better than imagined! And Delicious!

Meg was so great to work with, and she was so responsive to all of my calls and emails. She captured my vision perfectly with our cutting cake, and everything was divine. Would highly recommend Meg and her team!!

Amazing! All I can say. Meg had very roughly sketched out my cake so I did not know what to expect. When I saw it the morning of my wedding it honestly brought tears to my eyes. It was nothing like I could have pictured. On top of that it tasted AWESOME!

Complimentary cake testing. The cupcakes were out of this world. So popular at our wedding. Especially the Bavarian ones and the Pink Lady Diva. Small town bakery that has been around forever and is so good. They just had an article written about them, saying they are one of the best bakeries in Minnesota. We chose them before it was written so I imagine they will get much busier. But definitely recommend. 

Rush City Bakery definitely out did themselves. The cupcakes were absolutely amazing. We had done a taste test of six different cupcakes and asked them to create something different and they totally hit it out of the park. Everyone was asking at the reception, "Where did you get the cupcakes from?" Sometimes you never know what you will get from a small town but in this case this small town bakery had big city flavor. I would definitely go back to them for my next party.

We got a single 8in. round marble cake with butter cream frosting and ten dozen cupcakes (red velvet, almond raspberry,and marble custard). They were all moist and very delicious! The cake had a beautiful free hand piping with turquoise accents. The cupcakes just had a different tip done for the frosting.It was definitely a big hit with our dessert bar.

I am a huge fan of the Rush City Bakery and was excited to have them make the cake for our wedding! It was great and everyone (except people from Rush City) was amazed at how fabulous it tasted!
