Words cannot express how grateful I am that I made the decision to have my wedding at Ruthe Jackson Center. It is such a beautiful venue with a beautiful history. The second anyone laid eyes on the venue they instantly fell in love! What’s more, the level of service we received from Rebecca, the onsite venue coordinator, was unmatched even by the most experienced wedding planners. I can honestly say if it wasn’t for the attention to detail and care and kindness we were shown by Ruthe Jackson Center, Rebecca, and other staff, our wedding would not have been as memorable and spectacular as it was. RJC IS SO VERSATILE. Even though the original plan for an outdoor wedding had to be changed, Rebecca and their draping vendor did everything to make sure the theme of my event carried through in the way our ceremony space was set up inside. If I could give Rebecca 1,000 stars, I would. She is such a joy to work with, has such a delightful personality and is always willing to answer questions, help, and goes above and beyond to find a solution to a problem you discuss with her even if it is not her role. I felt so taken care throughout the entire planning process and so did all of the vendors. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend RUTHE JACKSON CENTER. To me, it is THE BEST VENUE in the DFW area with a beautiful indoor and outdoor space. You will not regret you decision. We just recently had our wedding at Ruthe Jackson center! We were trilled with this venue such a wonderful and amazing venue. Rebecca wow we have nothing but good things to say about her. Since the beginning until the wedding day she was there helping with the smallest details and very attentive and patient our wedding day. Even Our guest and family were happy and complimenting Rebecca and Emma on our wedding day. My husband and I are so grateful and happy that we had a stress free wedding and wedding day. The coffee table suggested by Rebecca was a big hit big with our guest. Really recommend this venue!

The Ruthe Jackson Center was truly the best venue choice we could have made for our wedding day. Every single aspect from the planning process to the management day of were phenomenal. The venue itself is beautiful and offers both indoor and outdoor options for those who are looking for it. Their courtyard area is perfect for pictures and guests to mingle in. The ballroom is spacious and neutral, giving you an open palette for all your decor needs. Also, the food selections offered were plentiful and delicious! The cherry on top was the staff, especially Rebecca who was communicative and quick to respond to ANY inquires or needs at all times. They made our special day PERFECT!

RJC was amazing! The venue is gorgeous and the coordinator did everything to make sure the day went smoothly. They even went above and beyond making sure our decor looked as gorgeous as possible. Rebecca was amazing at getting in touch with all the vendors and coordinating everything we needed to make our wedding day perfect!

Working with Rebecca has been a great experience! She was very helpful, patient, and her response time was fast. Even when we asked her questions where she needed to get more information to give us better answers she delivered swiftly. What a dream come true! Rebecca was so helpful and attentive to my request, she ensured that our wedding would run smoothly and I’m so happy to say she and the staff delivered 100%. Book your consultation asap you will not regret it. I received so many compliments after our wedding even weeks later. The food was delicious the layout and garden is fantastic and the bride and grooms suites were one of a kind! I highly recommend using The Ruthe Jackson venue and staff. Rebecca and the entire staff at RJC were so incredible! Not only was the venue stunning, but the food was absolutely amazing, and Rebecca was a joy to work with! On our initial visit, she talked us through all the options and even made several different proposed budgets with different price points and options so that we knew exactly what to expect. Whenever we had questions, she was quick to respond via email or answer over the phone. And on the day of the wedding itself, she catered to our every need, and the rest of the staff made sure our guests were taken care of. We had many guests who expressed to us how much they loved the venue and the food, and it really made our wedding day a day to remember. We highly, highly recommend the Ruthe Jackson Center!!!

Everything was amazing, the catering team, Rebecca. Everything was great. The food was amazing, the venue was beautiful, we didn’t have to do that much decorating because of how beautiful the venue was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

RJC was an amazing experience. I used this venue for my wedding on 9/23/22. The accommodation from Rebecca and the staff was top tier. They made sure my guest had everything they needed , especially with the bar! The bartender made sure all my guest left happy as well! I had to Uber a few ppl home, let’s just say the pour was nice. The garden upkeep was amazing , Rebecca even had the yard sprayed for me to make sure my guest would be comfortable during the ceremony. I could go on and on about this venue but hey go check it out for yourself.

We had our wedding here Oct 1st 2022. The wedding planning process with RJC was great, anytime we had questions or adjustments that needed to be made Rebecca did a great job to ensure that what we need was done. The venue is beautiful, we did an outdoor ceremony and then followed up with all the reception activities inside. The food options are abundant (Classic Buffet Meal) for all your guests, we got a lot of positive feedback on the fruit display and passed Hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. The indoor venue is spacious, we had a pianist playing during the cocktail hour and had a photo booth in the lobby as as well while comfortably seating 325+ guests in the reception area. For the ladies, the bridal suite is everything! Lots of mirrors, space, and very modern. For the men, the suite isn't as fancy, but it's still very spacious with space to do a lot hanging out and lounging prior to the festivities. If weather permits, take advantage of the garden to take pictures, your guests will love it too. Overall we highly recommend RJC as the place to host your special day!

Wow, where do I begin?! I was initially referred to a few other venues but after speaking with them, not only were they out of my budget but they did not offer any other services except for renting the building. I found the Ruthe Jackson Center on google. I set an appointment to visit their venue. It was absolutely elegant and classy. Exactly what I wanted. I was assisted by Rebecca. Rebecca was very patient, a great listener and she was able to assist us in making our dream wedding come true. The Ruthe Jackson Center was a one stop shop for me. I refused to be a stressed out bride and they helped me accomplish that. Not only did they offer a beautiful venue, but I was able to get my catering with them (my now husband and I went in for a dinner tasting and it was amazing). We had our guests served by the staff, I am so glad that we chose this option. The venue also has a list of vendors that they work with frequently. This was a life saver! I chose our photographer (Avant Multimedia) and our entertainment (The Leonardo Group) from the list, oh yea and we chose the a bakery from their list to create our wedding and groom cake (CakeAholics). It really only took me about a month to complete all of the details. We also had the venue do our decorations. The ballroom is perfect the way it is and we didn't have to do much to it. Sometimes simple is better. I kept having people ask me if I was excited, well sometimes its hard to get excited when you are still busy getting all of the details together but all of that changed the day of my wedding. I walked into the venue and my mouth literally dropped! To see all of the small details come together and now I am witnessing the big picture, I literally could not contain myself. I was overjoyed! Everyone that we used did an amazing job. Rebecca was so attentive (I also used them as my coordinator) and responsive to our needs. The entire wedding from the day we signed our contract to the moment the reception was over was top notch. Everyone was professional, we could tell that they love what they do, and my guest are still raving about our wedding. What is really is exciting is that my now husband was more excited than I was. He knew some of the details but not all of them, so to see his face light up when he saw the ballroom was priceless. My husband had a great time dancing, laughing and just enjoying the moment. We definitely enjoyed our wedding day and we did not have to break the bank! Thank you Rebecca and Ruthe Jackson Center for making our day memorable.

It is amazing this great venue is tucked away in the middle of an area I would not expect. We are very happy with our choice to getting married at the Ruthe Jackson Center. The staff was incredibly helpful in guiding us in the planning process and helping to manage vendors on the day of. Rebecca in particular was invaluable in ensuring our day was special. The outdoor venue was beautiful while the indoor reception came together much better than I was anticipating after the initial tour. The bridal suite was top notch and the entire bridal party had a great time there during the day. It may have been wedding day blinders, but I am not sure I have ever had a better meal at a wedding. The food was excellent throughout.

I can't say this enough: BEAUTIFUL venue inside and out. Rebecca was such a pleasure working with and all the ladies there are super sweet. She was so helpful from beginning to end and she did such an amazing job with decorating and helping set up. WOW!…wow is definitely the fist thing that comes to mind when you visit the Ruth Jackson Center, this hidden gem is tucked away in Grand Prairie. With a large outdoor area for any occasion, it has beautifully landscaped gardens with water features, large pergola and tons of string lights….and this is just outside. Inside you find yourself in an enormous ballroom with tons of chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, absolutely stunning! The ballroom can be made smaller to accommodate any size wedding but why not just enjoy the whole room:) … but I would still have to say the best part of the RJC is the staff, super friendly, helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

What a wonderful, beautiful, amazing experience! People are still raving about our wedding and asking us to throw another party! Cheryl, you are GODSEND! This woman made the process so simple with ideas, examples, referrals, and clean up! Everything she suggested we did and for that we had the PERFECT DAY! Cheryl and her staff truly put 100% into what they do and if you're nice may throw in some extra! I loved how everything was centralized making it simpler on my guest. RJC allows the option of doing the ceremony outdoors or in and trust either set up is worth it. You can't go wrong with Cheryl or the RJC. If you want a care free day, this is where you need to be!

The whole experience, from picking the venue to the meetings to discuss details to the day of my wedding, RJC was amazing. I felt that they were always 3 steps ahead on everything, prepared for anything and made my wedding enjoyable for everyone. This venue is the 5 star experience every bride wants.

Ruthe Jackson has the best staff to work with in DFW. Their food is superb, the ceremony location is gorgeous, and they go above and beyond to help make brides dreams become a reality.

It's a great place for any event; weddings, meetings, Quinceaneras, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful, ready to accommodate their client's wishes. As a vendor, they keep me updated and treat me respectfully and as an important part of the team.

AMAZING! Everyone at the Ruthe Jackson Center made the wedding process so simple and as stress free as possible. Cheryl was so professional and knowledgeable and most importantly patient. She truly has the best interest of the bride and groom at heart. Cheryl was so well with communication, even with the rescheduling of our wedding due to COVID she always kept her phone line open and available during the trying time. Day of the wedding she triple checked our tables and settings to make sure it was as perfect and magical as we expected. She went above and beyond for my now husband and myself. Very reassuring in the most difficult of times as well. Highly recommend.

I was a bride who’s wedding was affected by Covid! I had to postpone my wedding with my other venue for 2021. My fiancé and I still wanted to get married despite of it all. Luckily my mom found out that the Ruthe Jackson Center was offering their garden for free to couples who’s weddings were postponed/cancelled due to Covid. My ceremony was so beautiful and perfect! I had nothing to worry about just show up! Due to social distancing we could have only so many people there but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Thank you again Ruthe Jackson Center for offering your beautiful venue to us and made our day even more special!

I want to first start out by thanking Rebecca and the rest of the staff. Our wedding had to be rescheduled because of the unfortunate circumstances going on. The Ruthe Jackson Center allowed us to have our wedding at their beautiful venue for absolutely FREE. The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful. I would and will recommend this venue to all my friends and family.

They turned a stressful situation into a wonderful experience. They opened up their beautiful gazebo and garden area up to those affected by COVID so that we could keep from postponing our wedding. The garden was absolutely beautiful and our guests couldn't say enough about how wonderful it was. The staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to help us. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! What was a stressful time became an enjoyable and wonderful day! We are so blessed to have found this venue.

These ladies are so sweetie and super extra helpful! Our original wedding was canceled due to the pandemic and they literally saved the day. The gardens were behind beautiful, they answered every question, had a list of awesome vendors that came in right on time! Cheryl and the staff at the Ruthe Jackson Center are incredibly gracious and welcoming. After having to cancel our original wedding plans, we were able to keep our date to celebrate with our immediate families at the RJC. From the minute we stepped out of our vehicles, Cheryl was asking us how she could help. The garden ceremony space is immaculate and well cared for and I can only imagine how beautiful our photos will be. We had the BEST experience with the Ruthe Jackson Center. We had to reschedule our reception due to COVID but still planned to get married on our original date in a public park or courthouse. The Ruthe Jackson Center opened up their beautiful garden to us and let us have our special day in a stunning location. It was the biggest blessing! They were so kind and checked in on us throughout the week to make sure we had no questions and were as prepared as possible! I can not recommend this venue more. They turned a really stressful situation for us into a huge blessing and a lifelong memory.

Just...WOW! To say that Ruthe Jackson Center was a great venue would be an understatement. Our guests could not say enough great things about the venue, and neither can we. We actually had a different venue booked originally, but four weeks before the wedding, that venue closed down unexpectedly. RJC came to the rescue, and in the end, I'm glad our first venue didn't work out, because RJC was a thousand times better. Despite having to change everything last minute because of the venue change, I felt entirely confident the whole time that Cheryl and the RJC team had everything under control. I was never once worried about the "what-ifs", because I knew that we were in excellent hands. Not only that, but the venue is gorgeous! The outdoor garden area is just perfect, and it felt like a fairy tale. And if that amazing bridal suite alone isn't enough to make you want to have your wedding here, I don't know what will! If you haven't checked this place out yet, do it now. You will not regret it, I promise!

Ruthe Jackson was amazing to work with! They listened to us and figured out everything that needed to be done for the big day! We didn’t have a wedding planner, we did everything ourselves but the coordinator at Ruthe Jackson really helped us along the way to let us know the do’s and don’ts for the days leading up to the big day as well. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. We had about 260 people at the reception and it didn’t feel cramped or overcrowded in any way, even with not being able to go outside due to weather. Highly recommend it

My wife Whitney and I had an amazing experience at the Ruthe Jackson Center. Our wedding coordinator Karr Stewart was great as well. Anything that we wanted or needed they met those wants or needs without any questions asked. We followed all rules which led to us receiving our deposit back and had no problem with that either. Only thing that I was displeased with was that the doors that MY BRIDE was suppose to exit out of were not complete prior to our wedding like we were promised it would be but all other upgrades were complete. Overall I would have another event at this venue without a hesitation because nothing in life is perfect.

We had an absolutely beautiful wedding! The staff at the Ruthe Jackson Center did such a great job on the day of the wedding and in the planning process as well. I’ve already recommended the RJC to someone getting married next year. This was a budget friendly option (you can play with the numbers for things like food and alcohol) that still allows you to have that wow factor that you want for your big day.

RJC is a special place for us. We were married almost a year ago and wanted to go back to take a few pictures in the beautiful garden and under the Spot we said our “I do’s” for something special on our 1 year Anniversary. Cheryl never hesitated in letting us come by. From the second we met Cheryl and her team we received top level service, here we are 2 years after choosing RJC and we still feel like family. The facility is not only beautiful and accommodating by having everything in one spot but I still want to go back sometimes just to eat the food! Holy YUM! As our family grows this next year I can’t wait to share our updates with Cheryl and her team. They helped make the most important day of our lives perfect! And I can promise you, it was the BEST day! We will forever be thankful for that. Thank you, RJC!

The Ruthe Jackson Center was everything we could have asked for and more. The staff were amazing and the ballroom couldn't have looked more beautiful. Cheryl the wedding coordinator was one of the best people we could have met. She was on top of everything and even helped us making decisions when we were unsure of what to do or how to plan. Fell in Love with this venue on first sight! Everything from the inside to the Garden had me excited. I worked with both Karr and Cheryl and they were the best. They made everything for the venue easy so I didn't have to stress myself out too much regarding it. Also want to thank Julia! She was amazing the day of from helping setting up decorations to keep the wedding on our timeline and helping with small things that made a difference. They dream about how it will go, what will happen, will everything turn out as planned, Rosy and I had all the same concerns but from day one till the last day we walked out of Ruthe Jackson Center we knew without a doubt that we were in good hands with Cheryl Allgood. Through all the blood, sweat and tears she never stopped pushing for us to get to the finish line and have the best day we could ever have. The day of the event Cheryl never left our sight and she made sure it was perfect and everything we have ever dreamed of. I didn’t want my guests driving an hour + to make it to our wedding, little did I know as a Grand Prairie resident I had the perfect venue 10 minutes away from Home. Ruthe Jackson was perfect! Their staff was so professional and made sure to make our special night unforgettable . The last week right before the wedding Cheryl touched base with me daily and made sure I didn’t stress about anything because she had everything under control. Being a control freak that I am, before I could ask her about anything she had all my questions and concerns answered and taken care of. Ruthe Jackson felt like home and all their staff felt like my family. Each one of them cared about that day like it was their day. Cheryl never left my side and anytime I needed something or my guest needed anything she was there! Definitely a fantastic venue for all my future brides.

I was honored to help my sister to help find the perfect venue for her dream wedding. We looked for months for a venue and we fell in love with the Ruthe Jackson Center. The staff there were more than accommodating. They worked well with all of our vendors. They were open to any reasonable requests we had. We had specific religious food restrictions, halal/zabiha, and they were able to accommodate that as well. It is a gem of a venue with gorgeous lighting, fancy bridal room, beautiful garden, and fantastic food! The chef will definitely not disappoint you!

We had a wonderful experience at the Ruthe Jackson Center for our engagement ceremony. I would highly recommend this venue for any event. Karr Stewart and her staff were simply amazing! Karr was easy to work with throughout our planning process and always available to answer any questions I had before and at the event. Our guests at our engagement ceremony were amazed at the quality of the food, the excellent service of the staff, and the ambiance of the venue itself. Our photographer and videographer were raving about the garden which was perfect for photos! I’m so glad that we were able to have our engagement ceremony at RJC!!

Karr was great lets just start there.... Everything was so perfect from beginning to end. Our wedding was EVERYTHINGGGGGGG from the preciseness of the planning to the timeline of our wedding. Karr out worked herself and made sure me and my husband didn't need anything. I always hear how people don't get to eat at their wedding, she made sure we got to eat first hand which was the bomb. Booked this place you won't be let down thats for sure! my pictures are so bomb I can't wait to sure

My wife and I had phenomenal experience at the Ruthe Jackson Center. We had a lot working against us from bad weather to difficulty finding vendors for our Monday wedding, but Cheryl and Karr were there to help. They helped us find vendors within our price range for everything we needed, the officiant, the DJ, the florist and the baker. We had multiple set ups through out the venue just in case of rain, thankfully we had clear skies. The garden is gorgeous and is the perfect place for an outside wedding. I can't recommend the Ruthe Jackson Center enough.

This venue is so beautiful and bride friendly! They made my day perfect in every way and took care of everything! Cheryl absolutely made our dream wedding a reality and even though it poured all day, I would say it was the most perfect day ever! Thanks so much to those who helped bring our wedding together!

My husband and I had our wedding this past sunday and everything was more beautiful than We could’ve ever imagined. The food was amazing, and the staff were completely on top of it. If I could pick a venue all over again I would choose this venue simply because we got to work with Cheryl Allgood (the venue event coordinator). She was so easy to talk to and made everything so easy for us. She was very flexible, easy to reach, and helped us meet all of our needs/ wants within our budget. She gracefully handled unpleasant situations and fixed every minor inconvenience that arose so I didn’t have to worry about anything. We call her our fairy God mother. She was kind and was looking out for us throughout the whole night making sure we didn’t miss anything on our timeline, even hemmed my dress so I could actually get through our first dance. She also went above and beyond and gave us some extra things to make our wedding even more beautiful than we expected. She gifted us a date day while we were planning our special day, and I was the first bride to use the bridal suite, and let me tell y’all! It was gorgeous! Spacious, great for photos, had a steamer, coffee machine etc. Everything you would need to get ready. I could go on and on but to summarize We recommend the Ruthe Jackson center 100%.

The moment I walked into the RJC [Ruthe Jackson Center], I knew this venue would make our reception magical. Typically wedding receptions are kinda blah and you don't really have places inside to mingle outside of the main ballroom, but the RJC has lots of room to explore and for our guests to have conversations among each other. They also have a gorgeous courtyard that we took some of our wedding photos. Inside the courtyard you can probably have a small ceremony with a nice pavilion back there. Before all that, when you first walk into the RJC right in front of you is a beautiful waterfall display accented by plants and highlighted with some nicely placed lighting. Directly to the left of the entrance is a nice little homey area where we had enough space to set up the photobooth and also some children's entertainment. The ballroom itself is absolutely breathtaking. With ceilings reaching above 20 feet, exquisite chandeliers, recessed ceiling lighting, and tons of space for up to 450 guests it is a wonderful experience when everything gets decorated and set up. The manager of the RJC, Cheryl, was so sweet and helpful with our wedding planning. Cheryl is so easy going and sincere. She accommodated whatever she could to help us achieve our dream wedding. Me and my wife would definitely recommend the RJC for any type of event whether it's for a wedding, a company banquet, or even a family get together!

Cheryl and her team were amazing! Our planning was seemless and stress free due to her proactiveness and attention to detail. Not to mention the venue itself and the upgrades that were made prior to our wedding day. We are so incredibly happy we chose Ruthe Jackson Center. The garden is filled with Twinkle Lights. The lobby is showcased by a beautiful fountain. The Ballroom is very spacious and complemented by sparkly chandeliers. The Food is delicious! Not to mention, the staff is amazing. Cheryl is top notch. I had my wedding at the Ruthe Jackson Center and was very pleased. One of the things that attracted me to the venue was the outside space. I wanted my ceremony outside and it was beautiful!. Even the inside space is nice and spacious. The staff at Ruthe Jackson were spectacular and did everything to ensure that we were satisfied. Everything went very smoothly from booking the venue, to making selections, and all the way to the big day. I would definitely recommend Ruthe Jackson Center and its staff to anyone.
