Ryan and his band were by far, the best vendor decision we made for our wedding. We spent weeks looking for the right band for our wedding and we nailed it by hiring these guys. They performed for 6 hours between our welcome drink, ceremony, happy hour and reception. The sound quality was awesome. The songs they chose were so “us”. They totally killed it with learning some new songs for us too. Their rendition of Nathaniel Rateliff’s “S.O.B.” was spot on and our friends/family are still talking about it. We had numerous people tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended and Ryan & band are a big big reason why.
All I can say is, Thank You! I had my wedding this weekend and you all played your hearts out. Hands down the highlight of my night was hearing your amazing renditions of our favorite songs. Your band was professional, early to set up, communicative and friendly with us and our guests. But most importantly you sounded amazing! Ryan Tennis, your band mates exceeded my expectations in talent and friendliness. Your keyboardist was phenomenal, I am partial to the piano and could not believe how well you all captured the complexities of both Grateful Dead tunes as well as Railroad Earth! You even surprised me by playing a special song for me and my dad (over the rainbow/wonderful world) that if it was extra work to learn was not necessary but was truly appreciated. I am forever grateful for you all being a part of our special night! You all received high praises from the guests and the venue staff owner. Many guests commented that they had never had so much fun at a wedding :-)
Ryan Tennis and The Clubhouse Band were absolutely phenomenal!! Endless guests expressed how much they enjoyed the music all night and how age appropriate it all was (for all ages :)). I cannot say enough fantastic things about this band!!
They learned our first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son songs no problem. And even learned a song on the spot during the wedding.
The band members were friendly, fun, and laid-back. Ryan played pretty, sweet guitar music during the ceremony, which we loved. A few band members played THE BEST music during the cocktail hour, including guitar, trumpet, and bongo drums. And the reception music was the perfect combination of different songs- so much dancing fun.
I would recommend this band to anyone hosting ANY event.
I cannot recommend Ryan Tennis and The Clubhouse Band enough. They were the first thing my husband and I decided on when wedding planning, even before the picking the date and venue. They are extremely talented and create such a unique, joyful and easy-going atmosphere with their music. There were no other bands that compared when we were searching. The most compliments we received from guests of all ages during and after our wedding were in regards to the band! Looking forward to following them for years to come!
These guys were incredible. At the risk of this sounding like a fake review, I honestly cannot say enough about what an amazing job Ryan and the band did. They played both our first dance and the mother/son song (which was decided the day of) and had an incredible range of music for both dancing and those just enjoying the music. They were professional, energetic and they absolutely rocked. They even had a surprise at the end of the reception that blew us away. and weeks later people who attended the wedding are still talking about the band.
We just had this band at our wedding and they were great! They had the group up and dancing in no time. More than just a wedding band - they were very good in interpretations of different songs. Perfect for our wedding!
Ryan Tennis and the Clubhouse Band certainly made the wedding extremely fun. Everyone was up and dancing, and his acoustic, bluesy, folksy, rock-and-roll style was totally us. We didn't have to suffer through the typical Top 40 tunes. That said, a part from our first dance and parent dance choices, we didn't have too much say of what was played. (It was very much like a rock concert, just at our wedding...in fact, this is a real touring band--not your average wedding band!) Ryan convinced me to trust him and his band--and it worked out! I asked them to play the cocktail hour and the reception, but when a friend backed out of my ceremony at the last second, Ryan and a band member stepped in--literally a week before. And the ceremony, cocktail and reception were all perfect. (I was even able to request ceremony pieces at that late date, and they delivered!) I highly recommend Ryan Tennis and the Clubhouse Band--as long as you're OK with giving up control of your playlist.
My husband and I went back and forth on the dj/band debate. Every "wedding band" we looked at was the same old cheese, same song list, played the same old way. The way to land an awesome band at your wedding is to look for bands that are truly artists and don't necessarily advertise on the wedding scene. They put their own touch on every song they play and sprinkle in a few of their own. From the 9 year old kids to my 70 year old grand parents EVERY ONE was dancing, and we were able to pick music that was unique and special for our wedding day. From Bob Marley and Train for our processional to Ray Lamontagne, Tom Petty, The Beatles, and CSNY; if they didn't know it, they learned it and it sounded AMAZING. It was like having a wedding at our private concert. I even had someone from our event staff come up to me during the reception and thank me for picking them. They were laid back, professional, and fun without the cheese! Absolutely, hands down, would recommend them again, and again, and again!
Ryan Tennis and the Clubhouse Band were by far the best wedding band I have ever heard and they greatly exceeded our expectations. My husband and I did not want a typical top 40 band but we still wanted upbeat music that everyone could dance to. The Clubhouse Band played a variety of songs that people of all ages knew and enjoyed! They also played a few of their own songs, which fit right in with the music. Everyone danced almost the whole night after dinner and we received a ton of compliments about the band! Ryan was also really good at communicating with us before the wedding and he acted as the MC for the reception. The band learned 2 songs that we requested and even traveled the whole way from Philadelphia to Central PA! This band was great - if you are looking for something different than a top 40 band, check them out!
