We had our wedding at the Marriott University Park last month and everything was perfect! Cheryl was such a pleasure to work with. She was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We were able to meet the head chef and sample meals, appetizers, and desserts beforehand. Gene, the catering manager was also very helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly on the night of the wedding. We had an outdoor ceremony that was beautiful and Cheryl went out of her way to make sure we had everything set up just the way we wanted it. We loved the Marriott University Park and highly recommend it!

I currently live in AZ with my husband, so his entire immediate and extended family stayed at this Marriott. None of them had ever been to Salt Lake before. The view was amazing. Our guests loved being able to have mountain-view rooms. The prices for the rooms were cheaper than anywhere else in the vicinity. The rooms had been recently updated it seemed. All had really nice furniture, and when guests checked in online, they had the option to request other personal items (i.e., more of a specific type of pillow, etc.) at no charge! Both the sales staff that helped me book/reserve the rooms, and the staff that manned the counter while my guests checked in were AMAZING. So kind and patient. Because we had so many people book with them, they gave me and my husband a free night's stay there! There were a couple of guests who got rooms that did not have tubs, only showers in them. Maybe mention this to guests you know would like one or the other, to make sure they mention it during their booking.

I wanted a hotel venue since I had a lot of out of town guest coming to share our special day. From the moment I met the Coordinator she was amazing. The GM also came out and introduced himself to us. From the planning to the night of the event everything ran so smoothly and Gean catering manager was the best. The food was great and everyone felt so comfortable and at ease. The wedding ended around 11:00 but the party moved up to the bar till 2:00am. Amazing night and the staff made our day.
