Sand Castle Venue

We just got married in May 2023 and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue to go with. Our friends recommended us to check out this venue because of the beautiful space, top notch service, quality food and reasonable pricing. It went beyond our expectations. Frank and Jamie were so great to work with, very detailed oriented, organized, friendly and professional. They were so accommodating as we told them our vision of adding Chinese traditions and elements into our reception, it wasn't their first time doing it and their staff are very familiar with it. We also love that they focus on one wedding at a time, I truly felt like a VIP. Venue: The venue itself was gorgeous and very glamorous, both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Having an outdoor ceremony was extremely important to me, but the rain caused us to use the covered outdoor space. My husband and I believe that it was a blessing in disguise because that indoor/outdoor wedding ceremony space was beyond beautiful. It still felt like it was outside, and the team set up the space in less than 15 minutes! Shout out to Maria Lo designer of the center pieces which were gorgeous and she does all sorts of events with amazing flowers Food: My guests are still raving about the food, even the picky foodies! Both for the cocktail hour and lunch time. I've been to many weddings and very few places offer 7 different entree options + a kids meal. They also wrote the entree names in Chinese which means so much to me that my Chinese speaking family could read it directly. Everyone was also over the moon about the cocktail bar that descended from the ceiling! The dessert TRAIN! yes you heard me, it wasn't a plate of dessert or an assortment, it was multiple TRAINS of desserts, fruits, cakes, churros, ice cream, pudding, anything your mind could think of! They also gave us (the bride and groom) tons of food to take home because we didn't have a chance to eat, and all the food was delicious! The staff: Wow wow wow! A special shout out to my bridal assistant Emilie and Justin were both so so so so so amazing & The Maitre D Lucas . They kept us on schedule and when we were going past schedule Justin would gently move us forward. Emilie was truly incredible, like she is an angel, truly. She has such a calm and cool vibe while also being so attentive, professional and friendly. She helped me with my dress, created a last minute veil for me, helped with my dress and bouquet. Her and Justin made sure I had everything I needed at all times. All of their staff are so professional, kind, efficient and made the experience truly wonderful. At the end of the day, my items were all given back to me in a box, organized. They think of EVERYTHING!

Sand Castle is hands down THE BEST! Like nothing we have ever experienced before. I have had FOUR different wedding dates thanks to COVID and then also got pregnant in the midst of all the rescheduling. Sand Castle and Moe still handled everything and was able to accommodate all changes even throughout the craziness of the pandemic and all of the ever changing COVID mandates and restrictions. We were the last rescheduled wedding due to COVID and we went out with a bang! Everything about this place is phenomenal!!! Do not underestimate how important ONE WEDDING at a time is. That means their staff is only focused on you and your loved ones. They are AMAZING! I cannot say that enough. The venue, the food, their vendors (Genesis Event and Camelot Limousines) all excellent. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Our family and friends keep telling us our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to. They even give you food to take home. And I mean A LOT of food (not just the Bride and Groom’s entrees). We love Sand Castle. We’d throw any event there anytime! Now we can only hope someone we know gets married there so we can go back as guests.

Choosing the Sand Castle for our wedding was the best decision we could have ever made. From the moment we walked into the venue, we knew it had everything we wanted. The Sand Castle was significantly nicer than any other place we had seen. We booked without hesitation and felt very confident that they would take care of us and our guests. Loula and Mohamed went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted. The food and service was incredible. The bridal attendant (Pattie) made me feel so relaxed all day and night. I would recommend the Sand Castle to anyone! Especially those who plan on having larger weddings. We are dying to go back as guests. I cannot say enough about how special our day was thanks to the Sand Castle’s stellar team. From the first meeting to the day we picked up our things the day after the wedding, their service was above and beyond. Loula who helped me in the first steps, I had a million questions and she answered them thoroughly and with such grace, Mohamed who made my planning all come together perfectly and who took his time to make sure everything was perfect the day of, Lukas, Leslie and the rest of the team (I am blanking on everyone’s names), they were phenomenal. I felt like a princess the entire day. Everyone of our guests spoke about how amazing the endless tasty food was, how professional and organized the venue was..our guests were in heaven. If you’re thinking of a place to have your wedding, look no further. They truly have it all. If I could give more than 5 stars- I would. Thank you to the entire Sand Castle team. It won’t be our last celebrating with your team at your beautiful venue.

Sandcastle was beyond a 10/10. They were incredible on all fronts. The flexbility, attention to detail, friendliness, extra touches, staff patience and professionalism and the coordination was all top notch. The food and venue were to die for and the decorations came out beautifully. I cannot say how amazing this place was and how highly we would recommend them. Joanna in particular is one of the bridal attendants and she was fantastic. This is the place to get married!

You cannot imagine the love I have for this place. When my husband and I started looking for venues, Sand Castle was on our radar but not our “main” pick. We toured about 4-5 places and when my husband asked to go back to see it again; I knew it was the one. I don’t think I have a single bad thing to say. During the pandemic, Moe, the banquet director was amazing in getting us a new date on a weekend like we originally wanted and honoring the rates we booked in 2017/2018. They were always happy to answer our questions and honestly never bothered us which I love. They are so good at what they do. They Day was so beautiful. The grounds were amazing, everything was clean and exactly how they described it. And the food 😍😋 oh my goodness. We still have friends and family still telling us the food was so good. We took some home to enjoy (since both my hubby and I didn’t eat much) and it was as delicious as when we had our tasting. The staff was all amazing including bridal attendants & maitre ds (Joanna and Patti & Ricky and Lucas). All of them were checking in with my husband and I, letting us eat eating even a little to enjoy it and making us laugh when we took a couple of minutes of quiet. At the end of the night we really didn't want to leave! They also were kind enough to pack all my things and let us pick up later in the afternoon the next day; so our families weren’t burdened with taking things out of the venue the night of the wedding. This venue was the least stress from this whole thing and I’d recommend to anyone!!!!!! I want to be a guest there soon.

This venue and everyone there is just top notch. We booked with them in June 2019 right after we got engaged. It was the first and last venue we saw because we fell in love with it. Moe has been amazing through the whole process and when we postponed he was amazing at getting us a new date on a Saturday night (because that’s what we originally had) and honored our original rates. Also he let us get married on the outside grounds the day of our original wedding (6/13/20) told us take as long as we wanted and even brought us out water! And with any questions we had he was always so quick to answer! The day of was amazing and went off without a hitch! The place is so beautiful and the food was so good! The bridal attendants (Patti and Joanna) and mat’re D’s (Ricky and Lukas) (2 of each) kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we need. And Joanna and Patti had me busseled in like 2 minutes! And every table in the reception had their own waiter! For cocktail hour they put me and my husband alone in the bridal suite and had all the food in there for us to eat and be alone which we loved. They packed all the food from dinner, cocktail hour and the vennise hour for us to take home which was awesome since we barely ate. And they also packed up my parents car with the food and all our decor and signs (my parents took it all since we were leaving on our honeymoon the next morning). We were going to go to Crete which they give you a week and dealing with Jamie was great! But with covid we didn’t wanna go there and not be able to do anything so we will wait until next year) We were stress free the whole night and enjoyed every minute of it! We really want to be guests there one day we love it so much! We would 100% recommend them!

There is not one bad thing I could say about the Sand Castle.  It is a magical venue with everything you could ask for and more.  The staff is absolutely incredible.  I enjoyed my wedding day to the very last minute, I did not want it to end.  I did not have to worry about a single thing. My entire staff that day was there for us as well as every guest that attended. Everything was handled and so amazing! The place is breath taking and the food is over the top outstanding.  The best part of it all was how we were treated like family.  My guests are still talking and saying it was the best wedding they have ever attended. The Sand Castle does it right down to every last detail.  I would get married there over and over again! I highly recommend this magical place for your special day!!! I cannot say enough about this venue. The staff are absolutely AMAZING!!! From the moment we signed our contract , to the day of the wedding was just WONDERFUL!!! They made all of our guests feel like family, their attention to detail is out of this world. The bridal attendants are next to you before you even know you need anything. I HIGHLY recommend this venue !!

Hidden Gem of Nassau County Sand Castle was everything we wanted and more for our wedding. It is truly a hidden gem in Nassau County, and the entire staff could not have been more professional. Loula showed us the venue three times with various family members within one month while looking at wedding venues, and she even set up a tasting for us to ensure we liked the food before booking. She is knowledgeable, honest, warm, and we never felt like we were being pressured into signing a contract. We were offered all of the additional add-ons (raw bar, Martini bar, ice sculpture, Viennese hour) within our price per person, and the cocktail hour room and reception area are absolutely stunning. They are spacious, beautifully decorated, and they offer centerpieces, candles, table numbers, and place-cards in their package. With all of the details that come with planning a wedding, Sand Castle offers the most for their price and we have been getting compliments from all of our guests since our wedding. Sand Castle was beautifully decorated for our Christmas wedding (trees, garland, point setters, wreaths, lights) and Mohammed, the banquet manager, is the MAN! We met with him three weeks before our wedding to finalize our menu, and he went through the details and items that we needed to bring the week before our wedding. He is a true professional and anything that we wanted to have for our wedding he made happen. I even emailed him a few nights before the wedding and even stopped by the day before to drop off some items that we forgot. The night of our wedding was flawless, and all of the staff members were very attentive. The bridal attendants and maître des were phenomenal and we felt like the King & Queen for the night. The bridal attendants were with us throughout the entire night, and even bustled and kept helping me with my dress all night! Lukas in particular was our go-to, and he was there for anything we needed throughout the night. The bridal suite was packed with food waiting for us when we arrived, and attendants stayed with us throughout pictures with our photographers. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food at cocktail hour was, and how much variety Sand Castle offered. The Martini bar coming from the ceiling was a hit, and our guests had no idea where we were when we made our grand entrance from the stage into the reception. Our bridal suite behind our seats was equipped with cameras, so we were able to watch our parents and bridal party enter the reception, and the suite was very handy throughout the night. The reception menu had 7 dinner options and attendants went around with other entrée items asking guests if they wanted to try anything else before clearing their plates. The Viennese hour was endless, and guests could not get over all of the dessert items they had. And if we thought it couldn’t get better, we were able to come by the next morning to pick up the remaining dinners and desserts that were left from our wedding! We are now planning our honeymoon trip to Greece with Jamie, which was offered to us at our initial meeting with Loula at Sand Castle. The owner has a resort in Crete and we can’t believe that we get a honeymoon on top of all the amazing things that Sand Castle has done for us. DO NOT look any further, this venue is by far better than the rest. They made our wedding day memorable and I hope to attend a wedding here as a guest in the future!

Everything that I thought it would be it was and more. I was beyond amazed my day was a beautiful experience if i was ever to get married again i would for sure get married at the Sand Castle. Everyone was so very accommodating very professional I love them for what they did.

What can I say? I got married on 9/5/19 and all i can say is WOW! From beginning to end the team at Sand Castle is truly amazing. Mohamed is truly a Godsend. He is the man with the plan and he executes flawlessly. The food was amazing, the staff was very efficient. The day of wedding my wife & I were treated like royalty. Out guests were blown away by the ballroom and the service they received. We are still receiving compliments about Sand Castle. I'd recommend them to everyone that is looking to have an event there, especially a wedding.

5 Stars! I had my wedding here on 9.1.19 and it was the best day of my life. The entire staff, from Loula, to Moe, to Emely, Lucas, Joe, etc. They were all so kind, so helpful, and I am so thankful for each and every one of them. The vendors they recommended to me were outstanding, everything was 5 stars. My wedding day was so smooth and stress-free, and I have to thank them. Everyone is still raving about our wedding. I know that my husband and I will remember this day for the rest of our lives!

Does it sound crazy to say that I had no stress on my wedding day?  Well, sandcastle provided just that!!  From our first walk through of the venue, which literally blew us away and offered every aspect of our dream wedding that we could want, to our final wave from the Rolls Royce (also provided by sandcastle!), our wedding was a 100/100!!!  The venue is stunning for a daytime wedding, with elaborate tropical gardens, outdoor floors are swept super clean, and the staff is constantly at your beck and call from prewedding photos to your final exit.  Elaborate fountains are turned on and they even roll out the white carpet for you.  Even if it rains, theres a covered outdoor (with glass ceilings) and beautiful furniture and settings inside for photos.  your day cannot even be ruined by weather at all - aka NO STRESS!! The food is AMAZING! and it never ends. your guests have never experienced something like this in their life, and no other wedding will compare after attending yours!  Its presented beautifully and bountifully, in 5 star fashion.  1.5 hour cocktail hour, a bar that drops from the ceiling!, 12 cart viennese dessert, choice of 7 different entrees cooked to order, bottles of wine at every table with personal waiters for every table, FULL BARS (you want a fresh pina colada with a side of hypnotic, parrot bay, malibu, grey goose, ANYTHING - ALL TOP SHELF - ALL READY FOR YOUR GUESTS!), AND MORE..cant even list it all.  our dj was genesis, recommended by sandcastle, also great!!! our florist, maria lo events, also recommended by sandcastle, was a 10/10 too! the bridal suites are amazing and they wait on you in there as well with champagne and every food imaginable! so romantic! staff actually smiles genuinly and you dont feel as if theyre forced to be "at work." compared to other hotel weddings i have attended, its refreshing to feel that you literally can ask them anything and they will do it with a smile. they even put the train on my wedding dress up in a snap, and the personal bridal attendants you have is so luxurious! they also wont even touch your money box, but make you pour it into a bag yourself - 100% trustworthy in every aspect! everything i asked for was above and beyond! The staff at Sand Castle was very attentive, nice, friendly and professional. They catered to our every need with a smile. They made the biggest day of my life perfect and I really appreciate every one of them. Sand Castle is a premier wedding reception venue, which had been recommended to me by a friend who was married there previously and I am so glad that he did. I will ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND Sand Castle to all of my friends in the future who want to get married! Sand Castle is the absolute best! They are amazing and I could not be happier with their service.

I chose Sand Castle bc I knew it was perfect from 14 years ago at my sisters wedding. Mohamed, is still running things masterfully, since long before then. The staff was amazing, accommodating & friendly! Guests raved about the table servers, personal service, as they remembered drinks and anticipated needs. The dance floor is huge and the lighting is elegant. The centerpieces are included, which is a huge expense that you avoid when you book with Sand castle. The lay out is ideal with the large tables surrounding the dance floor. Me and the groom entered the room from our Dais table that was a wall that spins, from the bridal suit. You get the whole place with a classy precocktail hour room, for before the wedding. We got married in the glass enclosed room off of the cocktail hour which feels like outside, even in the cold weather. The grounds are beautiful for pictures and so is the inside area. You never see staff running around, everything happens like magic. I never heard so many people raving about the food at a wedding. As the bride I was spoiled rotten with up to 5 attendants reading my mind, filling my drinks and dealing with my annoying dress bustle. We felt their was no gratuity big enough for the unimaginable stressless perfection! There is just no reason to get married anywhere else!

My wife and I got married at Sand Castle on the beginning of March 2019 and had the best wedding ever. The Staff are not only extremely professional but they are genuinely happy to be able to assist you on your special day. From our first visit with Jamie to our follow on visits with Mohamed, the entire staff was extremely helpful and happy to answer all our questions along the way. The day of our wedding was amazing. My wife and I are not the spotlight type of couple so it was a little different being the center of attention, but the staff could not have catered to us and anticipated or needs any better. When they say you are their one and only priority for your special day they mean it. From the moment we were picked up at our house to the time we were dropped off there was nothing that the Bridal attendants and staff did not take care of for us. Our guests still have not stopped commenting about the beauty of Sand Castle and how amazing all the food was. They were taken aback by how well all the food was presented and tasted lets just say no one went home hungry. My wife and I went with Genesis Events for our MC, DJ and entertainment for the night and they did a outstanding job. All our guests said they had a blast and that the DJ and MC did an great job throughout the entire event. I cannot express how amazing it was to have our wedding at Sand Castle we both HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check them out for your wedding.

Words cannot describe how amazing everything was for our wedding from start to finish. The wedding was a dream come true and we thank Sand Castle!! THANK YOU to Jamie, Mohamed, Loula, and the whole Sand Castle team!! My bridal attendant, the maitradees, the whole day of team was absolutely brilliant the entire day of my wedding!!! Shout out to Lukas who put my bouquet in such a way that it didn’t disturb my make up during the ceremony. He ran up just as I was walking to the isle and the veil was destroying my eye lashes and bothering me so much. Thank you!! My Bridal attendant was amazing, she held the back of my dress when I walked and always set it down beautifully, held onto my bouquet, got me everything I needed, food, water, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING! She helped me tremendously throughout the day. Mohamed was fantastic, always a pleasure to deal with and really made us feel like our day went off without a hitch! He runs a tight ship!! Jamie was our superstar and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with since we booked the venue with her! She always answered all of our questions and she felt like family to us the entire time. From the moment we stepped in, everything was amazing. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the outdoor area where I had my reception was gorgeous, and the photos were beautiful. The food was delicious, the dessert, cocktail hour, WOW! I hope to come back as a guest and get to taste everything!! The staff really made my husband and I feel amazing on our wedding day and we had the time of our lives! Sand Castle created the "Circle of Love" theme for our wedding, and it was amazing. Even though it rained, Sand Castle recreated our outdoor garden theme, and brought it inside because of the rain. The Imperial wedding menu comes with seven wonderful entrees. Every food course on the menu was amazing, and the staff was warm, loving, and amazing as well. This was one of the best days of my life. Working with Lola Argyris, Mohamed Kessba, and Dina Vlamakis was an amazing and great experience. The warmest, and professional people you could ever ask for to be in charge over your wedding, at the venue. My husband and I just got married at The Sand Castle on August 5th, 2018 and we can not even describe the wonderful and amazing experience we had. We even say now that we miss it and would do it all over again with the sand castle. Once we stepped in the beautiful venue last June we knew right away that this was the place for us. Loula, Mohamed, and our florist at the sand castle Maria were so so great to work with, they truly felt like family. They really made every effort to make our dream wedding come true. It was all perfect and straight out of a fairytale!! The service was superb and all the staff were very organized, detailed, coordinated, and accommodated all our needs. Maria the sand castle's florist did such an incredible job with our decorations (center pieces, chuppa, menus, table cloths, and chairs) it was so beautiful and very detail oriented, she really took what I have always imagined and created a fairytale garden in which we got married. The food was also sooo amazing and we loved that it was family style, our guests were even able to take their food to go for the next day. I want to thank the sand castle venue especially Loula, Mohammad,Maria and our bridal assistants Patti and Ricky from the bottom of our hearts for all your hard work, effort, and care to create our fairy tale dream wedding. Just celebrated my sisters wedding on 08/05/18. I normally never write reviews but i had to After the amazing experience we had. Everything from the staff, the food, the service was the best i have ever seen. I honestly cant say enough great thing about Mohamed, Loula and the rest of the staff . I felt as if i was part of the royal wedding lol. Our guests are still calling and thanking us, Raving about how great the food was and how beautiful everything was. I highly highly recommend, trust me you wont regret it.

We went to many venues before choosing Sand Castle. Our requirements were very basic: we wanted a place that was clean, organized, good food options, and made us feel welcomed. Needless to say, Sand Castle was one of the only venues that gave us all of these basic things! We first met Dina, who is such a sweet person and was always there for us every step of the way. On our tour she let the venue speak for itself. The two biggest things that we loved about the initial meet was that all the prices were final, you did not have to add on any additional fees (all the other places you had to figure it out yourself) and the venue was already set up as if your wedding was going to take place that day. There was no guessing game on anything; what you see is what you get. If you really want to appreciate how much work Sand Castle does, just go to another venue tour. Once we made the obvious decision of choosing Sand Castle, the rest was a breeze. We met Moe, who is honestly one of the most hard working people we have ever come across. He makes sure that every single wedding that comes in the Sand Castle is special and executed with perfection. The wedding day itself was a day that we cannot describe in words. Every venue makes that bride and the groom feel special but what stood out to us about Sand Castle is that they make every guest feel important. My sister had a 5 month old at the time and spent most of the night in the bridal sweet upstairs (since it was too loud in the main hall from the band) and the waiter at her table would go upstairs and give her food, ask her if she needed anything, and just overall made her feel special and taken care of. This is just one of the many stories we have been hearing about the unbelievable staff that day. One other important person made our day special was Greg, the Rolls Royce drive that Sand Castle offers in their wedding package. He was there to transport us throughout the whole day and was beyond amazing. He is such a great person who had many funny stories and a very calming presence. He even thought about were to park the car in order for the photographers to take pictures in front of the church and kept communication with my photographers in order to help capture that perfect moment. If you are planning a wedding and want a stress-free experience with the venue, your best bet is to go with Sand Castle! You will not regret this decision!!!!

Experienced the true Fairy Tale Wedding at the Sand Castle! EVERYTHING was PERFECT from Start to Finish! When the party bus rolled up to the Sand Castle, they met us like secret service agents, ear pieces and all. It seemed like every need was anticipate and filled before we even realized we had one. Moe is the man. He seems to know what is going on EVERYWHERE in the castle. I can't tell you how many times I have heard my guests , "BEST WEDDING I HAVE EVER BEEN TO?" Even months later I still get comments about it. The attention to detail is extraordinary! I can't possibly write everything we experienced, but here are that small (and large) things that made our day unforgettable. *NO carpets, I hate carpets in venues, they smell and look terrible. *The photo opportunities, are endless. The decor is exceptional and the grounds have fountains, gazebos, flowers etc. * ONE venue at a time. *Amazing customized ICE SCULPTURE * Huge seafood/sushi boat (very impressive) * The center pieces they supplied save us $4000, and are very impressive. * The cake was Beautiful and Delicious! * Staff Guest ratio was very comfortable and generous, our guests were very well cared for even offered SECONDS! * Bridal Attendants are 5star * the DESSERT PRODUCTION is unmatched!!!! *Very comfortable bridal suite and one for the bridal party. * Elevator for wheelchairs *custom drinks (they got exactly what we asked for) *very professional staff *. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Sand Castle, I know you will not be disappointed. One of the girls in my wedding had her wedding there last week and I got to attend as a guest! EVERYTHING was just as perfect for her! GO see it you will fall in love like we did when we walked in.

Everything about this place was worth the money and stress. The staff is amazingly attentive to the needs of the couples and their guests. Never was there a moment where I couldn't find somebody to ask for a fork, or a napkin, or a drink. The front office staff is always within reach during the planning stage, easy to get on the phone, and quick to answer emails. On the day of our event, everybody made us feel like we were the only reason they came to work that day. Everybody at the lobby, the dining room, even the back room staff always had a nice smile on. They made our wedding supremely memorable and exciting. All our guests loved the staff, the food, and the decor. There was nothing but praise for the Sand Castle. Plan all your events here!

We had our wedding at this venue 10.01.16 and even until today, we get compliments from our family and friends. A very professional and enthusiastic staff. Dina was very helpful walking us through the entire planning process and made it an enjoyable experience. Mo and the rest of the team are on top of everything on the wedding day and truly made the day feel special for my wife and I. From the first day we walked into SandCastle late November 2017 and met with Jamie for our tour we were sold without her saying much. The place speaks for itself. Jamie's presentation was awesome she wasn't pushy like s salesperson she was on point and very nice. From that day my husband and I knew our wedding will be there. We got married Sunday April 15, 2018 and it was one of the best days of our life. Just short 2 days shirt of a month today and we are still getting calls, videos and pics from family and friends who say that was they best wedding they ever attended. Jamie, Loula, Mohammed and the entire Sand Castle staff We give Thanks - our wedding went so smooth you worked great with our vendors DJ, Videographer, Photographer. Photo booth staff, cigAr vendor and Decorator~~~ the food oh my god and when the dessert comes out on the carts lord help us......The martini bar so dope. Our guest was so amazed so many different rooms all beautiful ....only thing to complain about our day went Too Fast. We love you guys , SandCastle ROCKS!!! We are still overwhelmed ThAnk you❤️

It has been 10 days since we got married and we are still in awe of how amazing the Sand Castle made our wedding. My husband and I will forever be thankful to Nick, Moe, Lucas, Joanna and the rest of the Sand Castle team for making the whole night run smoothly. Guests are still telling us it was the best wedding they have been to. Thank you!!!

This review has been way overdue.. My husband and I had our wedding at Sand Castle in Oct. Sand Castle was the first venue I visited. I met with Loula, Director of Sales & Marketing. She gave my sister and I a tour and discuss the different menu packages. I love that Sand Castle has a gazebo(that's a MUST for me) and how spacious the outdoor and reception area is. A week later, I brought my mother and husband to Sand Castle to have a tour and see what their thoughts were. But because it was on a weekend and there were events/weddings going on, they were only able to get tours of certain areas. My husband and I visited other venues but Sand Castle was still on our list. Loula contacted us to let us know that the 8th of Oct. opened up. My husband and I comes from a Asian background so our wedding date was VERY important to our parents... We decided to go with 10/8 but due to miscommunication on our end, that date was not good in the Lunar calendar. At that point I was so upset and stressed because my husband and i were set on that date. We went back to Sand Castle to discuss the situation with Loula. Loula was so understanding and knowledgeable of the Asian culture. She checked and rechecked the whole calendar to see what can be done. Finally, she suggested that she can try to give us 10/22 but no promises till she contacts the event person for that date. After waiting for about a week it was confirmed with my husband and I got that date. We were THRILLED !!! Sand Castle has hosted many weddings for Asian Americans so they completely understand and are aware of what tea ceremony is.. They even have the tea cups and the double happiness pillows for the tea ceremony. One less thing for me to worry about.. Moe, Director of Operations worked with us throughout the planning and also the day of the wedding. He answered all the questions we had and when he could not be reached, Loula would answer them for us as much as she can. At our final meeting my husband and i were so stressed out to a point where we were so unorganized and forgetful...... we forgot to provide Moe with our guest list count and seating chart. Moe was so calm and redirected us. We were a bit hesitant at first about having a Fall wedding because we were afraid of it being to cold to have an outdoor ceremony but EVERYTHING worked out great. The weather was BEAUTIFUL and the temps were in the 70s. It's been a little over 2 months now and everybody still talks about our wedding and how smoothly everything went. All the staffs at Sand Castle were so attentive and friendly to me, my husband and our 200+ guests. The food was GREAT ! Service was GREAT ! All of our guests left full which was VERY important to my husband and I. My only big complaint I really have is that my custom cake topper did not make it onto the cake after i reminded the staff about it.. The cake was suppose to be white and pink but the cake received was all white. There were other minor things, like the restrooms are located on the 2nd floor (right next to the bridal suite), meanwhile the reception is on the 1st floor... but that's really about it. I highly recommend Sand Castle and would look forward to attend a wedding at Sand Castle.

Just like that it’s been five months since our amazing wedding. I’ve been trying to find all the right things to say because I’m still speechless because our wedding was everything we have ever wanted and more. We cannot say enough great things about Sand Castle. From the minute we walked into the venue and met with Loula it felt meant to be. Loula made sure to make our planning process smooth and easy, she answered our hundredths of questions and was very informative. Mohamed (Moe) is the BEST of the best. He went above and beyond to make sure everything we wanted was incorporated into the wedding. We had two ice sculptures (we were so undecided on one) shout out to him for making that happen. The day of the wedding Sand Castle exceed our expectations. My team for the night was amazing. Huge THANK YOU to these awesome Maitred’s (Lukas, Joe) and Bridal Attendants (Joanna , Ricky). Joanna is a jack of all traits, from sewing the train of my dress to sewing my garter, making sure I ate and tending to my every need, she’s the bomb! From the service, hospitality room (started earlier than scheduled), decor, food (cocktail hour, seafood boat, 7main courses), drinks (martini bar, three signature drinks) and dessert hour (12 dessert tables, chocolate fountain and more) my wedding is still talked about to this day. Trust me you will make the right decision picking Sand Castle to make your dream wedding reality. If I could give more than 5 stars I would !! They were absolutely amazing from the second we walked in over a year ago and worked with Jamie (who is amazing and so sweet and helpful) We had originally lost our wedding venue due to a break in the caterer and venues contract who has now switched names and we had to find a new venue. Needless to say I wish I have heard of the sandcastle while originally looking. The second we walked in my husband and I were blown away and his words which I never thought he would be excited about a venue was "we don't need to look anywhere else" They were amazing from that second on. Every single person there was beyond helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with. They are professional, friendly, helpful and just incredible. They couldn't do enough for us. They made the whole process smooth and I left my trust in their hands. The whole wedding night was completely flawless. I thought something little may occur that only I would notice like everyone says, but not one thing was out of place. My bussel ripped and my bridal attendant and Mohammed ( who is amazing ) took a needle and thread and sewed it back in no time. All my guests were highly impressed and everyone left happy and stuffed !! I couldn't be happier and am still on cloud 9!! I could go on and on about this venue that's how amazed they left us! My guests are still raving about our wedding!! If your looking for a once in a lifetime wedding; this is your place !!

My husband and I are forever grateful for our amazing, memorable, and beautiful wedding at the Sand Castle on December 16, 2017. The food was excellent, the venue was stunning and the service was impeccable. Our guests were so impressed and we’ve heard over and over again that our wedding was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. We have the Sand Castle’s amazing team and service to thank for that! My husband and I got married at the Sand Castle Nov 12. 2017. Everyone there nailed it. Everything went far smoother than I could have ever imagined. My guests were well taken care of and couldn't say enough good things about the beauty of the venue, the service, and quality and amount of food. The service in general was fantastic from beginning to end. We had a bit of a different wedding.. superhero, Star War themes and wrestling throw-ins. They took all of the intricate details and made sure they all worked seamlessly. I was even able to eat my entire meal and enjoy cocktail hour food in one of the TWO bridal suites. They had everything under control. I could not recommend this place more. They made our day amazing.

My wife and I got married on 8/11/17 at Sand Castle. This is definitely the best venue to have your Wedding. The level of service that we and our guest received was AMAZING! Mohammed and his team attention to detail is an excellent example what true hospitality is.

Sand Castle will truly make your wedding dreams come true! The team of people who work there are so experienced and so warm. They take care of your every need so that you can just enjoy your wedding day. The food is unbelievable, from the seafood boat for cocktail to the 7 entree choices for dinner to 12-dessert tables rolled out onto the dance floor for viennese hour. There is honestly no better venue than Sand Castle.

I can't even begin to thank Loula and Mohamed for everything they did. The ceremony was decorated exactly like I explained it. They were on top of everything. The service is amazing, everyone from the wedding is still talking about how everything they asked for was given to them within minutes. My entire wedding party was catered to and spoiled. Amazing service! Excellent staff. Awesome food. Pleasure to work with thru and thru. Not one negative thing said about this place by my guests. From Jamie, Mohammed, our bridal attendants and Maitre Ds - Amanda, Lukas, Joe...they were extremely attentive and great! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a an all around inclusive place. We did both our ceremony and reception there and could not be more pleased!

From the moment my husband and I walked through the Sand Castle, we knew this was the place. We sat down with Jamie and by later that night our wedding was booked. Throughout the year and a half before we got married, Jamie was more than helpful and informative. Any question I had she answered promptly and efficiently. In the few months before the wedding, we met with Mohamed, and there are not enough wonderful things we can say about him! Mohamed understood the vision we had and more than exceeded our expectations. From the day we met him, he was on top of everything we had discussed. The day of, he was there ensuring every moment went perfectly. We had known before the wedding how amazing the food was, but being the bride, there was not much time to eat. (Although the 10 bites of food I did have time for were incredible.) However, every person we have spoken to, the first thing they say is the abundance and quality of the food. Our guests could not believe the amount of food there was.... and then the desert cart came out! The presentation of every dish from cocktail hour to the Viennese hour was just spectacular, and tasted just as good. Every staff member we encountered was equally as efficient, if not more, than the last. I was expecting hiccups the day of, and there was not a single one! Every single second was perfect! Everyone we've spoken to has said it was the single best wedding they have ever been to. I cannot thank all the amazing people at Sand Castle enough for making our dream wedding a reality!

We had our wedding here April 2nd, 2017. Large Russian Jewish affair. We couldn't have asked for a better venue. Yes the food was out of your world, yes the team is accommodating, yes the decor is absolutely magnificent. But that's not the best part. The best part were the people, everyone at sand castle was absolutely attentive but a few names stand out more than ever. Lukas, he is stunning in his coordination, energy, and ability to drive the entire affair. Always a smile on his face, always ready to bring the best service. Ricky, the personal attendant for the grooms party went above and beyond his job description to help corral the elderly, tame the mothers, and work with "fun" guests. Joanna, for taking care of the bride, for putting up with us, but most importantly, for making my wife feel as if she was the first and only bride that she has ever worked with. Finally Mohammed, I can't express my gratitude in words or dollars (maybe song and dance). Mohammed who organized and monitored the event, who had a thousand and one jobs to perform, took his time to quite literally sew my wife's dress in preparation for the main dance. In addition to these incredible people, we want to extend a huge thank you to Loula, Jaime, and Dina who have all worked with us before the day to answer every one of our questions and help us (and especially my mother) have the best day of our lives thus far! My husband and I got married here 07/16/16 and it was by far the best night ever! From the start, Loula was very accommodating and the rest of the staff was very welcoming. The decor of the place is gorgeous and everything they offer is definitely worth the money. My husband is a chef for a catering company so food was very important to us. When we had our tasting we were amazed by the quality of food and knew this was the place to go with because it had EVERYTHING! Working with Mohamed was also amazing. He made sure everything ran smoothly. We hit a few bumps the week before the wedding with the church officiant and we had to make some last minute changes. Mohamed didn't give us a hard time and gave suggestions about how things can go. When the day came, nothing wasn't PERFECT. Loula, Mohamed, Lucas, Mohamed Jr., Joanna, and Jimmy worked with us and we were so grateful for their help and everything they did for us. The service was one of a kind and the day flowed beautifully. Guests have said that this is the best wedding they have ever been to and are still talking about it. We also had the unique opportunity to attend a wedding at the Sand Castle a month after ours and experience what our guests had experienced. WOW! Words cannot describe how awesome it was. We love this place so much, we decided to attend their NYE Event. We've been to other places but nothing compares to the Sand Castle. Food, Decor, Service, Amenities---they have it all! There's just no other place like it and they make you feel like family. Don't look anywhere else!!!

My wedding was one December 2 2016. Mohammed and his entire team are amazing at what they do! Everything on our wedding day ran smoother than we could have anticipated. While we were being posed for photos my bridal attendant was right there with me handing me my bouquet, lip gloss or wine. Every time we were served another course we had fresh drinks and water waiting for us. At cocktail hour they set up a table for us with all of the options and when we asked for calamari they made us a fresh batch. The food at the Sand Castle is amazing! Our guests were overly impressed at the presentation and quality of all of the food from cocktail hour, the reception, and the Viennese hour. There is not a single complaint I could make about the Sand Castle! Amazing place!

The Sand Castle exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding day. Our day was 10 days ago and we continually get phone calls and texts about how our wedding was the best wedding our guests had ever attended. The service is exquisite. The food is exceptional. And the environment is purely regal. Every person that we corresponded with at the Sand Castle was wonderful. They truly allowed for my wife and I to thoroughly enjoy our day. We just recently held our wedding here (Nov/2016) and have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue. It was really important for us to have great good and service and they went beyond our expectations here. The staff was phenomenal! So attentive throughout the whole process and even the day of. We received some many compliments from our guest on the staff. The food as well was phenomenal and there was so much. Everyone left our wedding stuffed and again we received so many compliments on the food. The staff here made our day so special and even eased my stress leading up to the special day. They are very attentive and throughout the planning process are very responsive. Definitely go check them out!

wao! wao! wao!, Sand castle, You made our dream come true, for a moment I thought I was in the movies but seeing my friends and family reassures me that it was our wedding live. On september 25th, we had our wedding reception in Sand castle NY, It is a paradise on earth, on the outside, you go, ok, then you step inside, it takes you to a different world of amazement. I am yet to come up with an adjective to describe this place but for now I will keep it Marvelous. Mohamed and his team are so welcoming, dedicated in perfecting every single detail, from their food of many dishes to their services, they are the best in what they do, we got a lot of compliment from our guests on how amazing our wedding was. very personal excellent service

This review is only based on our booking. I've been engaged for only little over a month and the stress of being a bride kicked in pretty much right away. Myself, fiancé and both parents have been looking for a wedding venue for such a popular weekend in 2017 and with time winding down it seemed almost impossible. Sand Castle was our last hope and for good reason. It was our last stop and it turned out to be the place of our dreams, everything we could have asked for and more. Speaking with the staff was such a beautiful experience, I really felt like we were all family. They made everything so easy for us, it was such a relief and stress reliever. It felt like we were destined to have our wedding at Sand Castle. Lula was amazing! We went to other places as well and just as a warning to others I will list my issues with the other places. So here we go: Crest Hollow Country Club - our sales person was TK who appeared to be very nice but I'm sure that he is. However, he failed to inform of us of so many details which if we didn't pay closer attention, we would have been paying way more than expected. I later found out through reading other reviews that our cocktail hour outside would be shared, TK failed to mention that but we were expected to pay way extra for a shared space? Chateau La Mer - great pricing options but the representative Raj lied to us, I'll leave it at that. Terrace on the Park - Bruno was awesome! But the room we were going to be given was to small for us. We saw the Penthouse just out of curiosity because it was already booked for months. The penthouse would be the only option we would want, it was spectacular! Jericho Terrace - Chad was awesome! He was straight forward and really told it like t was. He was definitely helpful, if we didn't go to Sand Castle we were going to go with Jericho Terrace. FoxHollow - nice but wasn't our style. Overall I can't wait to work with Sand Castle, we found everything we could have dreamed of!!! Make this your first choice and you won't have to go anywhere else!

There arent enough stars here for the absolutely outstanding service, quality, etc etc etc that the Sand Castle provided for my wedding on 7/2/16. From day 1 of planning they made my experience absolutely easy, stressfree & pleasant. Mohamed went beyond above the call of duty to make my wedding day amazing. He is such a delight to work with, truly cares about his clients..you dont find that experience many other places. The Sand Castle is the most underrated gem of a wedding venue that people need to know about. The food superceeded expectation, as well as the service from all involved in the day. The viennese hour will be talked about for years to come, i was blown away by how amazing of a job they did. & the to go food they wrapped up for us will feed us dinner for a month. There are nt enough words to say about how much i appreciate & loved having my wedding there. It was by far the best. You would be a fool to look elsewhere to book your wedding!!!

My wife and I had our wedding here on 2/28/16 and we could not have asked for more. The day was perfect, the venue was perfect and the food was amazing. But before we continue on with the wedding day. I'll bring you back to when my fianceé and I were still venue shopping. To be honest, Sand Castle was not on our radar. We went to several different locations and we were okay with some, and straight up no with others. Sand Castle has always lingered. One day I just told my fianceé that we should check it out just to do our due diligence. I am glad we did. I sent an email over and received a prompt response from Loula. We called and arranged a visit. Once we got to the venue, we were greeted at the door and Jamie did the rest. Jamie was attentive and professional. Unlike the other sales personnel that we had been dealing with at other venues. Jamie sold us the idea of holding our wedding at Sand Castle. She showed us around and gave us a vision to help us imagine how things would be. We were impressed. She even had a Chinese calendar for the prosperous days for a wedding. And when it came down to business, she helped us out a lot. We couldn't pass it up. Once we got the venue, it was a sigh of relief. Fast forward months later, we had our first meeting with Mohamed. We can tell, he's experienced. The way he was efficient and went through the entire long list of things we had to go through in a short amount of time. It was amazing. Fast forward another few months to the wedding day. When things are most hectic, the staff at Sand Castle relieved a lot of the excess stress. The bridal attendants, the maitre d's were all one step ahead of us. It felt like they anticipated what we needed. It was was much appreciated. The food. We chose the Imperial Menu as it was a no brainer. The martini bar, the viennese hour along with many other foods. We did not want any of our guests to say they went home hungry. Matter of fact, from what I've heard, all the guests said they ended up really full and complimented the food. Too bad, as the bride and groom, we don't really get to eat much :(. The staff however, did make sure we get to taste all of it. They packed us so much food, we asked our friends to come empty our fridge the next day. At the end of the night, we got a little surprise. Mohamed offered to have their car take us home. My wife and I thought it would be a regular car service. I didn't think they would actually take us home in their Rolls Royce. Sand Castle really made our wedding day special and we loved the entire experience. Thank you Sand Castle, you guys are the best!

My husband and I got married 4/11/15 at the Sand Castle and there are not enough words to describe how perfect they made our day. From the moment we sat down with Loula for our initial inquiry to the day after the wedding when we went to pick up our belongings the staff superceded our expectations. Talks with Loula, planning our day felt more like talking with a friend. We immediately developed a great relationship with her found it extremely easy to talk to her about our needs, wants and expectations of our wedding. She was beyond accommodating and went above and beyond to figure out a way for us to have exactly what we wanted. We even met with the Chef and the owner Nick! Once it got closer to our wedding it was time to sit down with Mohammed. Talk about a guy who knows what he's doing. Going over the menu and fine tuning all the details couldn't have been any easier. My husband did most of the talking since he's very into food, at one point Mohammed said to me "what about you? What do you eat?" So I replied and said "I'm kind of a bagel bites kind of girl haha." Well, I'll have everyone know - the second I walked into my bridal suite I was brought a silver platter of bagel bites. I was floored. I also came to find out that bagel bites were even being passed around to my guests! We requested a hot towel service instead of moistened towelettes. Mohammed got them for us. We requested a ridiculous old carriage to be carved into a watermelon. Mohammed had no problem with that. We requested butterflies be put in our center pieces. we got it. We requested menu items that weren't offered. we got it. We received everything under the sun we could have ever wanted. When we first arrived at the Sand Castle from church we were greeted outside by 4 bridal attendants. I swear - from that point forward - I forgot I had a train on my dress. There was someone every step of taking pictures with my champagne glass in their hand making sure when I wanted a sip I got one. We even went upstairs (outside) to take pictures and Mohammed came out with a plate of calamari and fed it to me to make sure I was eating!! We got the Martini bar - since I work in the restaurant industry, I had a friend of mine make up our three crazy cocktails.. he came up with one that involved making tiny holes in BLUEBERRIES and piping them with cream cheese frosting!! Where he even got this idea is beyond me. I forwarded the email to Mohammed and added that regular blueberries would be just as fine... I'm sure you can already guess.. THEY STUFFED THE TINY BLUEBERRIES FOR THE DRINKS!!! I swear I could go on forever about the Sand Castle. The bar staff and the wait staff were beyond words - amazing. We got married two weeks ago and we still hear about the Sand Castle and how much our guests were absolutely floored with the impeccable service. Cocktail hour food all the way to literally eating every main dish option at your wedding - was amazing! Even when we went back the next day to get all of our stuff we left there, still the staff was unreal. I cannot find one thing to complain about. They made our wedding the most amazing and relaxing day possible. I will ALWAYS recommend the Sand Castle and their staff to anyone in need of a venue. I still cannot believe how they absolutely delivered on every promise they made that they would make our wedding the best day of our lives!!
